Aiden looked at Stacey.  "That was great.  I didn't know you could play."  He said meaning it as a compliment.

(( =] It`s a song we play for marching band, but we play it really badly...))

Stacey smiled and shrugged. "Fourth through eight grade. I traded it in for fencing classes." She said, her old schedule coming to her mind.
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"
FOREVER WILL NEVER BE LONG ENOUGH.
"And now I understand a phrase I once thought odd;
I guess to love another person is to see the face of God."

Aiden

Aiden tilted his head to the side.  "Thats cool, and you play it nicely.  Did you like your school?"  He asked quietly.

Stacey shrugged again. "I guess. It wasn`t the best, but not the worst."
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"
FOREVER WILL NEVER BE LONG ENOUGH.
"And now I understand a phrase I once thought odd;
I guess to love another person is to see the face of God."

Aiden

"Yeah, mine was the same way.  So, anything here you're interested in." Aiden asked as he tilted his head.

Stacey looked around the small music store. "I guess." She shrugged.
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"

"And now I understand a phrase I once thought odd;
I guess to love another person is to see the face of God."

Aiden

Aiden leaned back in the stool.  "It's up to you.  I'm buying you something." He pointed out.

Stacey gave Aiden a serious look. "You`re not buying me something." She said.
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"
FOREVER WILL NEVER BE LONG ENOUGH.
"And now I understand a phrase I once thought odd;
I guess to love another person is to see the face of God."

Aiden

Aiden shrugged.  "Why not?  I owe you alot."  He pointed out.

Stacey took Aiden`s hands, the serious look still dominant in her features. "How about you buy me dinner? I am not going to let you buy me a two-thousand dollar instrument." She said, her voice soft.
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"
FOREVER WILL NEVER BE LONG ENOUGH.
"And now I understand a phrase I once thought odd;
I guess to love another person is to see the face of God."

Aiden

"Well, it is your choice."  Aiden answered as he shrugged his shoulders.  "You pick the place when your ready."  He told her with a grin.  Aiden glanced up at the long lines of displayed intruments on the wall.

Stacey squeezed his hands, fighting the urge to cross her arms. "You know I hate picking." She complained. "I`m already letting you spend money on me, you pick." She pleaded.
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"
FOREVER WILL NEVER BE LONG ENOUGH.
"And now I understand a phrase I once thought odd;
I guess to love another person is to see the face of God."

Aiden

Aiden wrinkled his nose up the same way Stacey always did.  "Alright.  I guess thats a fair deal."  He agreed as he nodded briskly.  He squeezed her fingers.

Stacey smiled and kissed his cheek. She ran her finger over his nose, making him relax the wrinkle. "You bet it`s a fair deal." She said, jumping off of the stool.
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"
FOREVER WILL NEVER BE LONG ENOUGH.
"And now I understand a phrase I once thought odd;

Aiden

Aiden smiled, and composed his face.  He slowly slid off his stool, and held onto Stacey's hand.
