why did your school block it??? i love Facebook...good way to keep in touch with my bff who moved =( she moved like 6 hours away....so yeah only way to keep in touch now...ugh.

They blocked because they think it clogs up the server, I don't think so. They also blocked YouTube!!!!!!!!!!! Bleh!! And a bunch of game sites!

Most schools block Youtube since it eats a lot of bandwidth that they much pay for.  Facebook and Myspace are blocked because of safety issues.  They can't control if you get a pedophile at your own home from Facebook but they don't want it on their head if you talk to them in school since that makes the school liable for not catching it.
