Stacey tilted her head. "What about earlier today?" She asked. A number of things had happened that day; Aiden had met her parents, he had told them about the engagement, Aiden went with her father alone to buy the suit he was now wearing, and many more countless things.
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"
FOREVER WILL NEVER BE LONG ENOUGH.
"And now I understand a phrase I once thought odd;
I guess to love another person is to see the face of God."

Aiden

Aiden tilted his head.  "Well, everything.  I still don't think I've processed it all.  And I was thinking of the future too."  He answered her quietly.

Stacey nodded. "A lot has happened today. But what about the future?" She asked, covering her questions bady.
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"
FOREVER WILL NEVER BE LONG ENOUGH.
"And now I understand a phrase I once thought odd;
I guess to love another person is to see the face of God."

Aiden

Aiden shrugged his shoulders, and sighed.  He wondered if this was a bad time for the conversation.  "Well, what do you want to do after we get married?"  He asked, wondering if it was to vague.

Stacey turned her head slightly. She wasn`t sure exactly what Aiden meant, although she thought she knew where he was going. She didn`t want to say something, though, and be wrong about it.

"What do you mean?" She asked softly, her voice cracking on the last sylablle.
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"
FOREVER WILL NEVER BE LONG ENOUGH.
"And now I understand a phrase I once thought odd;
I guess to love another person is to see the face of God."

Aiden

Aiden looked at her doubtfully.  He was sure she knew that was asking something.  He wondered if they were on the same track.  He noticed her voice crack.  "Sorry.  I guess this was the wrong time to ask that."  Aiden said, correcting himself.

Stacey shook her head. "No, please say what you were thinking." She asked, her eyes truthful and curious, not scared or confused.
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"
FOREVER WILL NEVER BE LONG ENOUGH.
"And now I understand a phrase I once thought odd;
I guess to love another person is to see the face of God."

Aiden

Aiden shrugged, and bit his lip.  The song closed, and instead dancing to the next song he thought it would be better if they sat down, and talked.  Aiden looked at Stacey.  "Well, I was thinking...what if you were pregnant.  Not exactly now.  But sometime after we get married.  I know we are still young..."  Aiden trailed off, hoping she would say something.

Stacey lifted a hand to stroke Aiden`s cheek. "Aiden, I love you. I can`t believe you were so worried about saying that. She said softly. "You know you can tell me anything, and I won`t hold you against it." She pursed her lips for a moment.

"And... that`s sounds really, really nice." She whispered.
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"
FOREVER WILL NEVER BE LONG ENOUGH.
"And now I understand a phrase I once thought odd;
I guess to love another person is to see the face of God."

Aiden

Aiden forehead wrinkled from the stress.  "It's...just I didn't want you to think I was only thinking about one thing or something."  He shook his head, and looked at the ground.  "I didn't know how'd you react." He added.

Stacey put a hand under his chin to lift his gaze to hers. "How do you react to soemthing like that?" She asked. "And everyone thinks about that one thing at some point in time." She assured softly. The music continued in the backround now.
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"
FOREVER WILL NEVER BE LONG ENOUGH.
"And now I understand a phrase I once thought odd;
I guess to love another person is to see the face of God."

Aiden

Aiden nodded.  "I suppose you're right."  He agreed quietly.  Aiden looked at her thoughtfully.  "You'd really want try to someday?"  He asked, making sure.

Stacey nodded, her eyes brightening slightly. "Of course." She replied before heavy footfalls sounded. James peeked out from the balcony door.

"Hey, you two, we`re headed home..." He said.

Stacey stood up carfeully, holding onto Aiden`s hand.
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"
FOREVER WILL NEVER BE LONG ENOUGH.
"And now I understand a phrase I once thought odd;
I guess to love another person is to see the face of God."

Aiden

Aiden looked up as James entered the balcony.  He wondered if he had heard their conversation.  He stood up, and squeezed Stacey's hand as they walked out of the door.

"He didn`t." Stacey breathed as they started down the long, dark hallway. She spoke low enough so her father didn`t have a chance at hearing. They slowly made it back to the front of the building and Carrie appeared with their coats.
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"
FOREVER WILL NEVER BE LONG ENOUGH.
