Stacey let go of his hand so she could heave the door open and then quickly took his hand again. She pulled him inside and flipped a light on. Suddenly, the inside of a stable was visable.
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"
FOREVER WILL NEVER BE LONG ENOUGH.
"And now I understand a phrase I once thought odd;
I guess to love another person is to see the face of God."

Aiden

Aiden looked around at the large room.  It was a stable.  He had never actually been inside one before.  "I didn't know you had horses."  He muttered.

Stacey nodded, smiling ridiculously. "Of course, we you haven`t seen a fourth of everything we own." She hinted. She pulled him down to where two horses stood together in their own stalls. "My guess is that you`ve never ridden before?" She asked.
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"

Aiden

Aiden chuckled quietly, and followed Stacey up to the horse.  He shook his head slowly as he looked at the tall animal.  "No, actually I never have."  He answered.

Stacey grinned widely and opened the stall doors for both of the horses. One of them whinnied softly and the other grunted. Stacey clipped a line to each of their bridle`s and led them out onto the hay floor. "Then you wouldn`t know anything about them." She added to herself. "Why don`t you get aquanted with Molly here." She said, handing Aiden one of the lines.

Aiden

Aiden looked down at the line, and took it.  He tilted his head to one side as he put his hand on the horse's mane.  He smiled a little.

Stacey stiffled a giggle and looped the other line around a pole and disappeared. reappearing moments later carrying a saddle that she placed on Molly`s back. She left to get another for Max.

Aiden

Aiden looked at the saddle, and put one foot on the step-up thing.(Whats it called?)He then waited until Stacey to get back.  He didn't want to scare the horse.

((Stirrup. I`m sorry, I just find this amusing.))

Stacey gasped and lurched forward, catching the straps that hung off of the saddle. She quickly tightened them. "Dude," She gasped, "You can`t get on a saddle that hasn`t been tightened yet." She smiled. "You could have fallen."

Aiden

(hehe =p)

Aiden looked at the saddle, and his pale cheeks flashed a bright red.   "Sorry.  He mumbled.  He watched as she took the saddle.

Stacey smiled and patted his ahnd before turning and fixing her own saddle. She pulled herself onto the horse as if she had been doing so her whole life, which she had. "Now, cluck once to go forward. Pull back on the reigns to stop. Kick to go faster, okay?" She asked. "You should be okay with her." She nodded to the horse. "She won`t do anything to rash." She clucked and Max went forward slowly.

Aiden

Aiden nodded, and grabbed the line.  He put one foot on the stirrup, and pulled himself up onto Molly's back.  Aiden sighed in relief that he hadn't fallen, and made a fool of himself.  He smiled a little, and gently clucked the horse.  "Is that good?"  He asked quietly as Molly went forward slowly.

Stacey just nodded; she wasn`t about to tell him that the horse was just following Max. "Just lean forward when we go uphill and back when we go down." She told.
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"

Aiden

Aiden nodded as he listened to the instructions.  He thought he was doing pretty good for his first time, even though the horse seemed to know exactly where to go.  "How many horses do you have?"  Aiden asked as he tighted his grip on the line.

"Just these two." Stacey answered. "Actually, they were gifts for my seventeenth birthday." Her tone made it obvious that the gift was nothing unusual for her family, which it really wasn`t.
