Axel felt uneasy as his hands dug deeper into his pockets.

"My..family's dead." He said quietly, looking away.

[Molly]

"I"m sorry, trust me i know the feeling." she felt bad for bringing it up. SHe knew what it felt like to have, ummm no resources but at least she had her frandma, and her dad and sis if you want to consider being atacked by them family. SHe repeated her self"I'm really sorry,  i didn't.... well...... yeah..." great now her natural charm was muttering... IHATEMY BRAIN she thought  then went back to serrious mode.

"It's okay." He said. "You didn't know." Axel took a deep breath and then silently exhaled. People probably thought he was just a depressed drunk with the way he had been acting the last few days. He decided to try to talk a little more.
 
"What year and house are you in?" He asked.

[keke p]

KeKe looked down, as they talked about their familys, being dead.

"At least, your mom, dad, both brothers, and soon to be you aren't dead"she said to them, then looked up. 

"At least you don't have some crazy murder, after you , thats killed you whole entire family."she said to them.

"At least you have a home, I have a drunken uncle"

"So don't any of you say your life sucks, because you have know idea of a bad life, untill you have walked in my shoes, seen what ive seen, and heard what ive heard.  Becuase everything, I have been through in the last year, is been death, and I was forced to watch, the guy, murder every single one of my family members."

Axel just looked at Keke. How could she say that her life was the worst? All of them had their share of troubles. None of them could be measured. Axel had lost his sister, mother, and father in a car crash and was forced to live with people that refused to love him. She didn't understand.

"Come with me." Axel said at last.

[keke p]

She looked up at him, then at Molly, then back at him.  Her eyes were starting to tear up. 

"Why?"she asked him.  "Where?"

Axel had started for the forest.

"Just follow me." He said quietly.

[keke p]

She looked at him, standing there for a minute, then picking up her broomstick, and following him into the forest.  She ran up to him, and then started to walk as the same pace as him.  She never trusted the forest.  Not now, she use to though.

"Where are you takeing me??"she asked him.

"I'm not really sure. You're upset. Walks can be calming." Axel said. He could sense her fear.
He led her to the center and then stopped. With his back turned to her, he looked up at the tree's.

[keke p]

KeKe, looked at him and nodded.  "Ohkay?"she said.

She stood there, and then sat down on the ground, while his back was facing her.  She didn't know why, but she asked him the most 5th grade question in the history of 5th grade.

"Do you hate me?"

Axel was so surprised.  He turned around and then, after a moment of silence, sat across from her.
"How could I hate you?"

He looked at the ground, picking at the grass.

"I brought you here so you could let your guard down. I know what the pain is like..and sometimes...you just need to cry. To scream." Axel had come here on his first day to do those things. He couldn't...no. Wouldn't, cry infront of anybody. And he learned that nobody could hear him from the school.
He knew she was scared to be here though.
"I'll protect you." He said.

[keke p]

KeKe looked at him.  Her eyes droped to the ground, as he finger drew int he dirt.
"I don't know..."she said to him, and shrugged.

"I don't need to cry or scream or anything.  Just mad.  Thats all"she then looked up at him.
"The....person. just took something that wasn't his to take.  I wish I could change it, but I can't.  No matter how bad I want to.  I just can't seem to. "

The sky was now, dark.  Stars were shineing in the sky. Everything was now quite.

"Why?"she asked him.
"Why will you protect me?  When I barely know you."she said, "Why me?"

"Anger leads to sadness."

Axel sighed and the shrugged.

"I need a purpose." He supposed. "Plus..you're officially a friend to me now. I protect my friends."
He picked up a stick and inspected it before setting it on the ground again.

"It sucks to lose the ones you love... You feel so..alone." He said in a quiet tone.

[Molly]

She looked where they walked off too. She didn't know wether to follow or not, keke was really sad and well axwl was too. She decided to slowly walk behind them. She could hear their convorsation but didn't bother to catch up. She did''t watn to ruin the moment... err wha5tever it was.

She looked at him, as he picked up the stick, and then sat it back down.

"Thank you."she said to him, with a tiny smile.

KeKe looked around and then back at him, when he said it sucks to lose the ones you love.  She lost it.  She just couldn't take it anymore.  Tears came pouring out of her eyes.
