Aiden could feel himself about to flip again, but he tried to compose his expression. He took in a deep breath, and closed his eyes.

She hugged him close. "Its ok" She whispered into his ear. She was stressed as well, but she didn't want him to sense that considering he had been inside her mind. She just hugged him. Trying not to think too hard.

Aiden rubbed his temples on his head, trying to calm himself down before he freaked again.
"No it's not." He whispered, frustrated.

She didn't say anything. She just kept hugging him. Tears filled her eyes, but she didn't want him to see, make him feel worse even though it wasn't his fault. She tried to blink them away.

Aiden suddenly felt a drop on his shoulder. He turned his head, and noticed Avalee was crying.
"Are you okay?" He asked, his voice quiet.

She shook her head and said, "No." She paused wiping away a tear. She leaned back. "I've ruined everything." She stated as if it was a fact.

Aiden shook his head, and pressed his lips together into a straight line.
"No you didn't." He replied harshly, he almost sounded mean but he hadn't meant to.
"It's not your fault." He explained quietly.

"Well if it wasn't my fault it wasn't yours either." She said. She hoped he would understand her odd logic. She was tired, but knew she couldn't sleep, knew she wouldn't be able to sleep for a while.

Aiden looked at Avalee, his eyes deep.
"Whos fault is it then?" He said angrily at himself.
He was loosing it again.

She didn't want him to freak out again, so she tried to push her thoughts of calmness, even though they were not true to his mind. "Both of ours. We will share the blame." She said trying to get him so see her side of the argument.

Aiden leaned back, his eyes turning to a dark shade of black right in front of her. He grabbed both of her arms gently.
"I'm the married one. What have you done? Nothing." He explained, trying to keep his voice down.

She raised her voice a little. "I knew you were married. I kissed you." She needed him to understand. When he didn't there were more tears.

Aiden ground his teeth together, his jaw setting in place as he did so.
"Yes, I know. But I kissed you back, that is my fault. I could have just as easily said no." He explained, hoping she would realize how stupid he was.

Aiden dropped his face to his hands. He rubbed his eyes, getting frustrated.
"It's the truth. Theres no denying it Avalee." He explained, pleading with himself to find a way for her to understand.
