Aiden leaned back, taking his other hand off hers. Looked down, not meeting her eyes.
"What do you want me to do? Get a divorce and live by myself, be miserable? Would that make you feel better knowing that I have no one?" He said, trying to keep his voice down again.

Vivian wanted to run down there. "Hes hurting her more." She she said sighing. She relized he could probably hear her so she added, "I know you probably not meaning to, but you are." She mumbled. She laid back on the bed and put her arms over her eyes.

She ripped her hands out of Aidens. She looked at him, angrily. "You think so low of me?" She wanted to continue her sentence by saying 'It makes me fell better seeing you happy' but she knew she was too angry to let him know that. She felt like he had just taken her broken heart, and shattered it. She was sick of him reading her mind. She just wanted to block everyone out and die. She had never thought about suicide very seriously, until last week. She hoped he could read that.

Aiden looked away from Avalee, finding it hard to see her so angry. He held his breath for a moment, trying to get his emotions under control. He tried not to read her mind, even though it was impossible. He hated that he could.

Aiden exhaled with a sigh, still looking away with his eyes closed.
"Then what the hell do you want me to do?" He almost begged.

She touched his chin and tilted his head up. "I want you to be happy, because I love you, and I want that for you." she said through her tears. She saw something in her minds eye, it was her, Avalee, dead, with a note pinned to her dress. It said - forever in love with a taken man. She thought of suicide, her mother had been depressed in her teens, and Avalee wondered if she had it.

"He is making her mad, I can hear it in her thoughts and voice. Stupid Aiden, Avalee! Stop being so forgiving, he hurt you mentally, emotionally, and physically!" whispers Heather commenting to what was happening downstairs. She knew Aiden could hear them, but apparently after Vivian's comments she knew Avalee couldn't hear them. Then Heather got an excellent idea, and opened her mind and screamed at Aiden in her mind and came back to reality outside of her mind.

Vivian uncovered her face and set up. "Do you think things are getting any better down there?" She asked Heather in a questioning voice. She still wasn't sure if this was making things between Aiden and Avalee better, or just making Avalee worse.

((Maybe her not eating.))

Heather looked at Vivian and says "It gets better and then gets worse, it more like a roller coaster, it goes up and then goes down, then has those loopie loops, oh great I feel sick!" She ran to the window looked below her to make she there was no one below her, and barfed out the window.She wipes her mouth and puts some tic-tacs in her mouth and goes back to her post and gestures for Vivian to join her and says "There's enough room and you can find out for yourself, sorry bout the barfing... I get nauseous when i think about loopie loops and roller coasters."

Vivian rushed over to Heather. "Are you ok? Maybe you should sit down." She was really concerned. "I get that way to sometimes. Don't worry about it." She said with a smile. Vivian listened with Heather to see what Avalee and Aiden were going to say next.

Aiden closed his mind off from Heather, who was getting very annoying and irritating. He flinched as he read Avalee's thoughts, not really meaning to read them. He already regretted this mind reading thing.

Aiden lifted his head to Avalee, meeting her eyes with his dark ones.
"I want you to be happy, too." He whispered sincerely.

Aiden took a deep breath. He tried to find the right words to say, but her friends were distracting him.
"I don't like seeing you this way, I don't want to. It hurts me." He said quietly, knowing any kind of pain he could get was satisfaction for her friends. He didn't really care what they thought, they were only making things worse at the moment.

Heather glared down the stairs, Aiden had blocked his mind from her. She needed more people who could read minds, maybe then he wouldn't block her out. She shouted a swear word but was cut off in the middle, by her own hand. She leaned closer to the stairs listening to the two people downstairs in the common room.

"Heather!" Avalee warned her dear friend. At least Heathers heart was in the right place. "Aiden, I don't think that there is really anything that you can do right now! What they say, time heals all wounds, well its not true, but we will have to wait and see." She wanted him to hug her, to kiss her cheek sweetly, and to tell her that everything was going to be ok, and that the aching in her heart would go away soon. She was desperate for that to happen.

Aiden stood up, and looked at Avalee. He sighed, feeling worn out emotionally and physically. However, he was glad that Avalee stopped Heather's annoying, chilidsh ramblings.

Aiden looked at Avalee, his shoulders falling.
"Then what should I do?"

She stood up, finally and truthfuly breaking down. "Aiden, I want you to hug me and tell me that everything is going to be alright. Lie to me Aiden." This was going to kill her in the end, and it felt like the final nail in the coffin, or the first step towards healing, she wasn't sure. Heather was going to kill her, if she didn't kill herself.
