"We can't all be winners." Seth said as he fixed his collar and stretched his arms.

Alice sighed and put her hands on her hips, catching the attention of a couple of passing boys. She just ignored them and their not-so-nice thoughts.

"You`re starting to sound a little pessimistic." She complained.
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"
FOREVER WILL NEVER BE LONG ENOUGH.
"And now I understand a phrase I once thought odd;
I guess to love another person is to see the face of God."

Sky

"Sorry." He said sincerly. Seth took her hand. "So now you're going to teach me to dance," he paused, "right?"

Alice gently squeezed Seth`s hand.
"Sure. What would you like to learn?" She asked. "New stuff or old stuff?"
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"
FOREVER WILL NEVER BE LONG ENOUGH.
"And now I understand a phrase I once thought odd;

Sky

"Whichever you like best." Seth said. All he wanted was to make her happy.

Alice raised her eyebrow again, staring into Seth`s eyes with her own. She wanted him to give his own opinion, but she guessed that that wasn`t going to happen.

"Okay. Old stuff then." She led him a little away from the croud and put one hand on his shoulder. "You know how to waltz, right?" She asked.
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"

Sky

Seth shook his head. "I can't dance at all. You might want to start me with the hokey pokey." He grinned. "Don't I put one hand here?" He placed one hand on her waist. "Then I take your hand, right?"

Alice laughed and pulled Seth a little closer, adjusting his hands with subtle movements.
"Like this." She giggled. She heard a nearby waiter sigh. "C`mon. Dancing isn`t that hard, really."

Sky

Seth laughed lightly. "Women." He looked at the waiter that had sighed.

Alice laughed again, and loudly.
"Hey, now. We aren`t that bad." She said in a teasing tone. She looked over towards the waiter, loooking at him under her full eyelashes. He sighed again and leaned against the wall. Alice looked back to Seth, grinning.
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"

Sky

Seth grinned back, and looked into her eyes.
  "You're so beautiful." He said softly, gentle. " And not because you're a vamp."

Alice smiled and gently squeezed his shoulder.
"Thank you. You don`t know how long I`ve waited to hear that from someone and know that they mean it."

Seth grinned when Waltz of The Flowers came on. Must have been the waiter who suggested it after seeing Seth's pityful dance position.

"Shall we?"

Alice rolled her eyes as the first note came up, and it was flat.
"You know, I didn`t like the guy who wrote this." She mumbled, leading her partner into a simple waltz. She wasn`t hard to follow, after all, her immortal stuffness allowed her to pull him in the right directions.

Sky

"Are telling me," he paused to look at his feet, "that you hate this song? I love," another glance, "Tchaikovsky. He's a great composer." Seth sung along to the song, though he didn't have a very musical voice.
