"That`s cool. Eighteen hundreds? Wow." He replied, looking around like he was expecting something to happen.

"So there`s no secret passages or anything?"

((I`m getting writer`s block. >.< ))
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"
FOREVER WILL NEVER BE LONG ENOUGH.
"And now I understand a phrase I once thought odd;
I guess to love another person is to see the face of God."

Sky

Sky plopped down on the bed, Jake jumping up licking her. "No, haha, stop it Jake." She said with a smile. "Well, none that I've discovered yet. I'm sure there's something in the basement, but I'm too chicken to look." She started to rub the dog's belly.

"So, now what?" She said. "I don't have to work until tomorrow, so what do you want to do?"

Jason sat down beside Sky and held his hand out to Jake, who starting licking his fingers.

"I don`t care, really. I`m just glad to be here with you." He looked up to meet Sky`s eyes, holdin ghis breath without noticing that he was. "I mean, what would you like to do?" He added, looking down at the puppy.
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"
FOREVER WILL NEVER BE LONG ENOUGH.
"And now I understand a phrase I once thought odd;

Sky

"Honestly," Sky laid down with her head against the pillow and stared up at the smooth white ceiling. "I'm up for anything."

She looked over at Jason and smiled. Just because.

Jason watched sky lay down, one hand on Jake`s head and the other wrapped around Sky`s hand.

"What?" He asked when she smiled. He couldn`t help but grin, too. She just looked happy, content.

Sky

"What, I can't just smile for no reason?" She teased. She winked and then lifted up the puppy and set him on her stomach, rubbing his head with her hands.

"Who's a good puppy?" She cooed. "Are you a good puppy?"

potter_fan122

Jason smiled and layed down beside Sky, propping himself up on his elbow.

"Nope. When I`m here you have to smile for a reason." He teased, grinned at the little brown puppy.

Sky

The dog hopped off of the bed and ran out of the room to explore the house. Sky chuckled. She loved how puppies had such energy. She turned to face Jason.

"I always smile when you're around."

potter_fan122

Jason smiled and nodded.

"I know."

He was suddenly aware of how close they were. Before when he had tried to kiss her Jake had been in the way and had barked when he had tried to move closer. Well, he had run from the room now, chasing who knew what. He leaned forward now towards Sky, lacing his fingers through hers.
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"

"And now I understand a phrase I once thought odd;

Sky

Sky closed her eyes, the smile still on her face. She couldn't help it. She just felt...well...smiley today. She felt Jason's fingers lace through her's and opened her eyes, their faces close.

"I love you." She said to her great protector.

potter_fan122

"I love you, too." Jason replied, then brushed his lips against hers. His fingers were tingeling where they touched hers, and he smiled.

That`s when the explosion happened. The ground shook, and Jason could hear Jake start to bark. He pulled away from Sky and stood up quickly.

"What`s happening?" He asked, although it was obvious Sky didn`t know, either.

Sky

Sky's eyes widened as the blast shook the house. The two parted and looked at each other with confused and fearful expressions.

"I-I don't know." She said, jumping out of the bed. She pulled her wand out of her pocket. She could hear Jake bark and was glad to know he was alright.  Sky ran to the window and pushed it open. She could see people down below, dressed in black cloaks.

"Death Eaters."

Her heart began to race as fear coursed through her momentarily. How did they know where they were? Why were they even here?

Jason also took his wand out of his pocket and follwed Sky to the window. He saw the hooded figures and he shivered. His left arm tingled, and he clamed his hand over the place where his Mark was.

"Sky... do you think it was because we tried to burn it off?" He asked softly?

Before she could reply another explosion went off. Jason fell to the floor, hitting his head, and the window rattled. "Are you okay?" He called, not seeing Sky and getting dizzy.

Sky

Sky grasped the edge of the window as the second explosion shook the house. She looked down and saw Jason on the floor. She dropped down and lifted his head.

"The question is, are you alright?"

More blasts hit the house. She could smell smoke. "It must have been." She whispered, more to herself than to Jason. She was referring to the mark.

Sky suddenly whistled loudly. "Jake!" She yelled. "Jake!"

potter_fan122

Jason sat up and rubbed the back of his head. He heard Jake bark then scrabble down the hall, then he heard a low growl.

"Oh, crap." He mumbled, jumping up. He was a little dizzy, but he reached the doorway just fine. "Jake?" He looked to the other side and saw the dog, facing the stairs and growling. He heard a low chuckle, then a grunt.

"Sky, there inside." He said softly, turning for a moment to her.
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"
