I've got mine still. :)

There are two ways I know how to make your own quill:

1. Take an ostage feather (or the like), and jam the center of a pen up the feather's tip - tape it - and WAH-LA! You're own personal quill! ^^

or, if you'd like a more idealistic quill:

2. Find a feather you like and go buy a inking tip (used for drawing comics - avalible at craft and art stores) big enough to fit into your feather, some thread of your liking, and glue (hot is more prefirable). :)

- Stick the inking tip up your feather and glue it there.
- Let it dry, then wrap the thread around it LOTS, and
- WAH-LA!! Your quill. :)
