Sorry I havent been on that much, I had a lot of school work. Heres comes sumore!

 Ch.4 V0ldemorts Rise

    Harry stared at it. His heart beat was quickening. It was definately the dark mark. The skull, the snake, it was all there. All of a sudden, a sharp pain hit his scar. He grasped hi fore head. "What's happening Harry?" Fudge asked in a serious tone. " Let me see your scar." Harry took his hand off and grimaced. " My god! Your Scar!"

  "What is it?" Harry asked worriedly

  "It's...it's blood shimery red! Harry, I think it's best, that we keep you here for now. Do your Uncle and Aunt know you're here Harry?"

  "No. I ran away to warn you, the letter, it said he was plotting new attacks! He said he was going to kill Snape and Karkaroff! Probably because they're traitors, and He said he'd get, Sirius!"

  "Sirius?" Harry realized that Fudge was not there last year when Sirius revealed himself to the weasleys and Mcgonogall.

  "Sirius is innocent, and this letter proves it!"

Just then, the door burst open. A tall serious looking man walked in. He said "Senior Headmaster of Durmstrang, Proffesor Karkaroff, has been killed, and the dark mark, Lies over his hideout."

Fudge turned to The man and said " Dispatch a group of Aurors to the site before the Prophet finds out." The man left the romm, and Fedge said "Harry, come with me." They went along some halls and down a lot of stairs, and stopped at a door.

"Harry, I believe that Sirius is innocent. He will be protected, but, he will be watched. Many people will not agree in his innocence, so having him under surveilence will satisfy them. Snape will be hidden as well, we will have to find a replacement for him at Hogwarts. Speaking of Hogwarts, we must contact Dumbledore."

"Owl won-"

"Yes Harry, I know, it is to my understanding, that you haven't apparated before, right?"

"no"

"Then we'll have to use floo powder. Bu mbledore's fireplace is only accessable through this fireplace. Let's go." Fudge took a hand full of powder, and gave Harry some. Then he went into the Fireplace, and said Dumbledore's Office!. There was a loud roar, and Fudge dissappeared under green flames. Harry repeated the process, and after spinning around for a long time, Hary found him in the familiar romm of Dumbledore's office. Fudge was there, and Dumbledore had just come out through a door, in a silver roge, and his usual hat. What is it Cornelius, that brings you and Harry" as he said this, he slanced at Harry. " to my office?"

"Harry has recieved a message from Voldemort. I hae seen it, however instead of letters, there is the darkmark. However, he told me what it said, and I believe him, for part of what he said, has happened. Karkaroff is dead."

Hey, that's wierd, I posted a long next part, and it isn't here!

 oh well.


  Fudge stared at the man, and then at Harry. Finally, he said, "Send a squad of Aurors to the site, and try to hush this up before the Daily Prophet or Muggles see the Dark Mark."
The man left the office, and Fudge said to Harry "I guess I'll have to believe you right now. We need to speak to Dumbledore than. Snape will be protected, as well as Sirius. We'll probably have to replace him though, so you'll have a new potions teacher, as well as a new Head of Slytherin. Do you know where Sirius is?"

  Harry shook his head and said, "I don't, but Hedgewig can find him easily."

  "Ok, we'll send her off, and then me and you will travel by advanced Floo Powder to get to Dumbledore. Let's go." Fudge and Harry went back to Harry's luggage, which he had left at the lobby. Harry released Hedgewig, and wrote a letter to come to Hogwarts immediatly. Then he and Fudge went into a room with a big fireplace. Fudge said, "Harry, this is a little different than normal floo powder. It's is a lott comfortable, and can go to more places. Dumbledores office is only reachable, with Advanced Floo, as well as a lot of other important places, which is why it is kept at the ministry, and no one except Ministry workers no about it."

  Fudge took some Poder, and handed some of it to Harry. Then he went into the fireplace and said "Dumbledore's Office!"
With that, there was a small crack of flames, and Fudge was gone. Harry then stepped in, and said "Dumbledore's office!" Harry, instead of spining around in dizzy circles, had a calm trip. Soon he landed softly into a hearth and saw a familiar room infront of him. He was definately in Dumbledore's office. Fudge was there, and helped him out. Than they walked up some stairs, and knocked on Dumbledore's door.

  Dumbledore came out dressed in a silk robe. "What is it Fudge, that brings you and Harry to my office at this time?"

  "Voldemort has made an attack Dumbledore." Fudge said. "He attacked Karkaroff at his hideout, and the Dark Mark lies over it." "Harry came to the ministry with a letter he had recieved from Voldemort . It told him that he was going to attack Sirius Black, Proffesor Snape, and Karkaroff. Right after he told me, we got news of Karkaroff's death. I believe that Sirius is innocent. Why else would Voldemort attack him?"

  Dumbledore, who was now fully awake said, "Where is this letter now?"

  "It's useless now, When he gave it to me, the letter disappeared, and the Dark mark took it's place. Right now,  we must find Snape and Sirius. Harry has sent a letter to him already, so where's Snape?"

  "He is at the Slytherin common room at the moment, I believe." As he said this he glanced at a large table, that looked like the face of a clock. Instead of numbers, it had things like Gryffindor common room, and dungeons. The hands showed the names of employees at Hogwarts. Snape was surely enough, in his houses common room.

  The three of them walked down to the entrance of the Slytherin common room, and Dumbledore said the password in a whisper. Harry guessed that this was because he wasn't supposed to know other houses passwords. Then Dumbledore led the way up to Snape's room. He knocked on the door, and a familiar voice said "Who's there?"

  "It's Dumbledore" He replied, and Snaoe opened the door.

   Snape stared at Dumbledore and Fudge, and then glared at Harry. "Yes Headmaster?" Snape asked, still looking at Harry.

  "I trust that you realize V0ldemorts rise by now Severus?"

  "Of course Headmaster, but why bring that up now?"

  "Young Mr. Potter here has recieved a note, saying that V0ldemort has three new targets. Your friend Karkaroff, Mr. Black, and... you."

  "Does Mr. Potter have this note?"

  Fudge stepped in and said "The note has turned into the Dark mark, but Karkaroff has been killed already, so, we wish to wove you into a more secure area. Sirius Black, I believe, is innocent. He will all so be moved. Hurry up now, Pack what is necessary only. Then I will take you to the Ministry of Magic."

  Sirius started to pack his things into a trunk, and then said to Dubledore, you and Harry should leave, Fudge can stay here and wait, but you two should got o the owelry and see if Harry's owl is there."

  "Very welll" Dumble dore replied, and then he turned to Harry. " Let's go" Harry and Dumbledore left and exited the common room. They headed up to the owelry, but Hedgewig wasn't there. "Harry, how was it, that this note came to you?"

  Harry told Dumbledore about how he had went upstairs, and how the man was there, and attacked him, and that when he woke up, the note was on his desk. Then Harry and Dumbledore went back to Dumbledore's office. To there surprise, Hedgewig and Sirius were there already.

  "Hello Hary, Dumbledore. Why did you need to see me so urgently?" Sirius asked.

  "First," Harry said, " how did you get here?"

  "Well, first, Hedgwig came , and I read the letter, and was about to change form when Fawkes came. I held on to Fawkes, and Hedgewig and him flew to Your office Dumbledore"

  Dumbledore looked at Fawkes approvingly. "I wonder how  he knew where you were" He pet his pet Phoenix, and then turned back to Sirius, his countenance very serious. "Sirius, you were called here because we have reason to believe that V0ldemort is hunting you, and Severus Snape down. He is also looking for Karkaroff, but has already killed him."

  Sirius looked scared. "What am I supposed to do? I have no where to go, and the Ministry certantly wont protect me!"

  "Quite on the contrary, they are going to protect you. They believe that since V0ldemort wants to kill you, you're innocent, and are not on his side."

  "Where am I being taken?" Sirius asked.

  "That is for the Ministry to decide. Why don't we go down to Professor Snape's office now?"

  The three of them walked back to Snape's office and found that he was almost done packing. Snape turned and saw Sirius. THe two of them glared at eachother with hatred. Fudge saw what was happening and said, "Oh, good, Sirius is here!" Fudge walked up to him, and held out his hand. "I', sorry about what happened before Sirius, bit your name has been cleared."

  Sirius hesitated for a moment, and then shook hands with Fudge. "It's alright Fudge. That rat Peter was very tricky."

  They let go, and Fudge said, "Well then, now that that's settled, you and Severus should come with me. We'll work this out back at the Ministry." Ane with that, Sirius said goodbye to Harry and Dumbledore, and was gone.
