Casan sat in the Hufflepuff common room. She laid on the couch with her eyes close. She jumped up when she heard someone.
"Hello."
Casan smiled,"Hey, scared me."
"Oh, really." Lavy said with a grin.
"That's not cool, man."Casan said backing away.
"And why is that?"
"Your smiling..."Casan said,"I've never seen you smile..."
"That's cause there's nothing to smile at."
"You scare me."Casan said sitting back down.
"How so?"
"You just do..."Casan scratched her neck and said,"Do you know where Neo is? I need to talk to him."
Lavy smiled. "No, I don't. What do yuo need to talk about."
Casan glared at Lavy,"Trust me. I have no intention on stealing him from you. I wish to talk to him about his army."
"What makes you think that I think you want him, never mind. Well he wouldn't be back for some time but I'm second in command. So I can most likly help you with that."
"Actually, I was hoping to get the head honcho. But thanks anyway."
Lavy laughed. "Oh, come one. Lay it on me. Most of the armies my people anyways."
Casan smirked and shook her head."Nope, only the big cheese will get it. I don't trust my city in your hands."
"Now that's simply an insult. There's nothing Neo can do that I can't do myself....in fact now that I think about it I do pretty much everything around that place. Come on, by the time Neo gets back your city will be nothing but a little pile of..... nothing."
"Nah, my city is fine. It's just what I want to do. Something I don't trust you with."
"Let me ask you somthing. How long have you knoww Neo?"
"It does not matter how long you know someone. It's what you see in them. As a Queen you should understand."
Lavy nodded. "So what is it you see in Neo, that dosen't seem to be present in me."
"A soul? Nah, I'm just kiddin'. I see bravery. I don't see that in you...or me. You do things cause you have to. Just like I do. But do not think I am saying you are anything like me. Not at all."
Lavy smiled. "Oh, bravery. It's not bravry you see. It's the chooese that he makes. If you know him as well as I do you would know that Neo trys to advod fights. Nothing like me. I go looking for trouble. Ypu can't call the bravry sure....but....humm....let me put it like this. How whould do define bravry?"

"Not trying."Casan was being vague and she knew it.
Lavy sat down "Fine I'll define it. The ability to face danger or pain without being overcome by fear. Now in the time that you known both Neo and I don't you think we've both shown that. And even you, dispite the fact that you do somtimes run. If you stand firm when danger comes you are brave. If you can look it square in the eyes and not waver you are brave. Do we stumble do we fall. of corse. Do we somtimes choose when to fight. Yes. Bravry isn't just about wherethere or not you can stand there. It's about when you chooes to stand upright and strong, ready for anything that life thows at you. It's not just about your power. It's about what's inside of you. If you can honstly say that when it matter's, when it truly counts that you are ready then you are brave. When you put your life or health or anything on the line to help someone you are brave. That's the true plian and simple. Brave it's putting on a face until everyone leaves. It's a lifstyle. The men and women Neo and I train they are brave. They come everyday willing to die for a cause that they belive in knowing that if just one thing went wrong that they could be captured. Casan I guess what I'm trying to tell you is that you can't just look at a few things someone's done. Hell if I did that with you I could say that you never fight for what's right. And if someone looked at things that I've done in the past they can say I'm usless. But that's not true is it? We both know that. Your here aren't you. Ready to learn anything that will help your people. I'm here. Ready at anytime I'm called to fight. I'm willing to die for a cause that may neer come true. And so are you, and Neo and Ginny. That's the next thing I taught you then. Don't look on the outside of somone. Look and see with they always run, if they don't if they stnad tall then they are brave."

"Whatever, nevermind."Casan stood up and started pacing.

Lavy shruged. "Whatever it dosen't matter anyways." Lavy turnd to the fireplace and started creating shaps with it
(nah, I just have brain problems.)
Casan summoned an orb and threw it up and down.

"I see you've gotten alot better at controling your orbs."
"Yeah, I didn't sleep til I mastered my air orb."
"Glad to hear it." Lavy stood up. "How much conrtol do you have over your orb?"
Casan turned her air orb into a earth orb. A single leaf was in the orb so she set the leaf on fire.
Lavy claped. "Beautiful. I have another question. If someone tried to use one of your own orbs againt you how powerful do you think they would have to be?"
"I would think that they wouldn't be very powerful since the orb comes from your own magick."
Lavy nodded. "Yes very true."
Casan smiled proudly. She plopped on the couch and turned the inside of her orb to a blizzard.
"Oh, you've learned to conbine element's, ah"
"Eh, during classes and stuff. Haven't or slept much either."Casan looked thoughful.
"I see. Well then since that's happening I guess we should start working on a lager scale."
"There goes my r&r..."Casan mumbled."Alrighty, let's hear it."She sat indian-style.
Lavy rolled her eyes. "Come on." she grabed Casan's hand and the next second they where standing by the lake.
"Are we gonna swim?"
"No, I'm going to see how powerful you really are."
"Cool, wait how?"Casan said looking out at the lake.
"Do you think you can control the weather?" Lavy raised them both into the air about ten feet.
Casan looked down at the ground and said,"Errrrrr...I could make it rain...a drop."
"That's a start." Lavy looked up at the sky and closed her eyes. Slowly clouds started covering the sky and it started to snow, very lightly at first.
Casan looked up and started randomly melting the snow with fire.
Lavy smiled adn it started snowing harder until you couldn't see 3 feet unfront of you. Suddenly it all stoped leaving the sky as clear as it was before.
"Freaky, let me try."Casan closed her eyes and a drop fell from the sky and on her nose."Well that sucks."
Lavy laughed. "Don't feel bad. It's not like an orb where you control everything inside of it. It can take a while."
"Cool. Um, can you put me down?"
"Are you afreid of hights?"
"No, I use to fly fighter ships but...I'm not in a ship."
"Oh I see. that's one of your confort zones, ah?"
"Anything that has a motor. Now please put me down."
"Hummm.....I see." Lavy slowly put Casan back on the ground.
Casan stepped onto the ground gracefully and sat down.
Lavy landed right next to her. "So what's your time like?"
"You've seen it. The sky is always dark. You can't sleep in fear of a bomb going of beside your ear."
"Hummm......sounds alot like right now."
"Not really. Look."She pointed to the sky,"I didn't see the sun til I was 11 and had to evacuate to Deriallia."
"Try sleeping with half the country after you."
"Try sleeping with half the galaxy after you."Casan closed her eyes,"I'm not saying you're better off but you have to consider all the sides."
"You may have half the galaxy ater you but the people after me well make up for the lack in numbers. I'd rather be in your postion to be honest. So much simlper. You pretty much know who's on your side and who isn't."
Casan gritted her teeth and ignored Lavy.
"Casan I know your ignoring me but it's the truth."
"If it's true than why is half my family dead? My brother, Casius, killed them. He was a soldier, a d@mn good one. But the glint of silver got in his eyes so he killed my sister Lela and other people that don't really matter. Lela was seven."Slightly cursing herself for telling Lavy that, she stood.
Lavy stood as well. "Be happy you even have a family Casan. My whole family was dead by the time I was seven. It's wores then being dead for the simple reason that you have to live."
"Whatever. Let's just get of this subject. I have no intention of going further with this."And with that she jumped in the lake, cloths and all.
"Fine by me."
