Marissa watched the Quidditch game, not taking anything in. She thought hard.

Marissa entered the room and sat down next to Lavy. She piled her school work on the table. 'Hey guys,' she said, drawing out her wand and copying the hand movements recorded on parchment. 'What's sup?'

Marissa looked puzzled. 'Wait,' she said. 'Wizards and that don't have those things. Radios and whatever. Are you a halfbood?"

Ginny sat down near the others, silent tears running down her face. She had heard the conversation and agreed.
'As soon as Summer finishes,' Ginny said, 'I've got a few things to do. But I don't understand you guys. Wouldn't it be better to hunt down those Horcruxes? They're way more important than Snape. It'd kill snape to find out that his master is gone.'

Marissa looked at Lavy. 'I saw Josh and you two years ago. You'd think he'd remember.'

Marissa rolled her eyes. 'Can't say you JUST figured that out!'

Marissa introduced herself to Ron and Katie and smiled at Lavy.
'Year three. Don't have OWLs till, like, two years. I heard that Beaxbatons might try hosting the triwizard torniment. From year three and up. Sounds fun.

Monique shrugged as a first year entered the room. The girl introduced herself as Natalie.
Natalie: "Hi, my name is Natalie,' she said. 'Have you seen a russian cat named Wendy?' She asked. 'He ran off . . .'

It was seven pm, and a few friends were sitting in front of the fire, warming themselves after they had been drenched by Peeves water bombs.
Monique rubbed her hands together and drew out her wand, flicking it so she was now completely dry.
'That's better,' she said happily, putting her wand back into her pocket, after doing the same to her friends. Strectching her arms, she yawned.
'So,' she said to her friends. 'O.W.Ls this year huh?' She attempted to make conversation.

Marissa shrugged uncomfortably. 'I met her in Diagon Alley.'
Marissa looked over towards the common room door and saw her friend, Kathleen, coming in. 'Never mind,' she said hastily.

Marissa giggled. 'I could've guessed.' She looked around the common room, which was packed with people. 'So . . .' she said. 'What do ya wanna do now?'

Marissa entered the common room with Lavy and Josh and sat down in front of the fire. She stroked her new barn owl, Queenie.
'Say what Lavy?' She asked.

Marissa grinned as they stood up and headed to the Gryffindor Common Room. 'I don't mind. Anything else?'

Marissa piled a couple of Chicken Drumsticks on her plate.
'Cool,' she said. 'So, anything interesting about Hogwarts you can tell me?'

Marissa watched quietly as Josh flew out of sight. She looked at Lavy. 'Hi,' she smiled. 'I take it you're in grade five?' She asked.
