The sound of breaking glass could be heard from outside the bar. Followed by the sound of crowds cheering, some people in that crowd booing. A table snapped, more glass was broken.
"Come on punk. You think you can take me?" The man laughed, a disgusting booming laugh. One where he threw his head back and dared to take his hazel eyes off of the angry red head that stood before him. The man was in his early thirties. He was just as tall as the boy standing across from him, but maybe three times bigger. He had large buldging muscles that were even outlined through his tight polo shirt. His hair was brown and wavy, thinning a little around the hair line, but not too much.
Axel snarled. His sky blue eyes held fury as he wiped the blood from his lip. His hair was shorter now. It had gotten too long and had become a nuisance. Now it just went to his ears.
"I know I can take you." He shot back, a little smirk appearing on his face. This whole fight had started because he saw the man treat a female server badly, grabbing her and pulling her onto his lap, whispering inappropriate things in her ear. When she managed to get up and told him off, he got mad and pushed her away, knocking some glasses on the table. Axel saw the girl go down to pick up the shards of glass and realized enough was enough. The man shook his head before turning to his buddies. They were all howling and cheering for him.
"Woo! Go get 'em, Dave! Show him not to mess with his elders!"
Dave suddenly was in front of Axel and grabbed him by the collar of his white t-shirt, his nose inches from Axel's. The odor of firewhiskey was almost unbearable.
"You think you're so tough, huh kid? Looks like I got to teach you a little lesson about interference."
Axel snorted. "Looks like I got to teach you about breath mints."
Dave growled and lifted the boy, tossing him into an empty table.
The dark eyes of a fourteen year old, swept the bar, noticing the merry people, the warm atmosphere, and not but nor least, the alcohol flowing down the throats of already drunken men and women. Even though the young boy who looked at the scene was already fourteen, he'd already seen more than enough wasted people, to know the difference between the dangerous, and those as kind as lambs.
Albus sipped from his butterbeer, feeling the disgusting yet delightful feeling of warmth spreading through his body. His blue hands was gripped tightly around the bottle, as he watched another of the meaningless bar fights develop. Frowning, he looked at the muscular man, to the teen standing in front of him.
Albus pulled down his jeans a bit, comforting himself from the tight grip of the blue fabric. Tilting his head to the right, he took off his grey jacket, and revealed an orange no-sleeves t-shirt. He was hardly dressed properly for the raging cold outside, and many look at him with odd stares, wondering if the boy with the blue skin didn't get cold with so little clothes.
As the man and the teen started to snap at each other, Albus thought, ~God, how pathetic... ~.
The crowd cheered and wanted more.
Albus fished for his wand from the blue faded jeans, but before he could even manage to get a grip around his wand, the young teen was thrown up in the air, right at an empty table. Albus sighed. It seemed that using wands wouldn't help so much more now.
As the bulge of muscles moved against the teen, in another attempt to smash the younglings limbs, Albus stood up, and flicked with one of his fingers. The teens limbs were covered with ice, sticking him to the table. The big man's feet were frozen to the ground, stopping him in his rapid dash against the teen. Dave, as the man's name were, grunted, trying to break free, even though he didn't achieve anything.
As the crowd stopped their cheering amazed by the happenings in front of them, Albus quickly melded into the masses of drunken, and emerged by the side of the teen. He wiped his shoulder-long hair away from his eyes, and looked at teen. Albus was younger, still, he seemed much less mature. The thoughts of the teen was easy to read, and he could easily recover his name, age, and why the whole fight had started.
Albus' mouth opened, as every man and woman in the crowd stared at him, gazing between the blue boy, and the teen frozen to the table.
" How pathetic are you? " He exclaimed, his voice drowning with disgust, whilst he looked around at the silent crowd.
Axel could feel the wood splitting into his skin as he fell into the table, causing it to topple over and crack from the force. He tried to stand up, but he was stuck to the table by ice.
"What the...." He looked around for the source and focused on the blue kid instead of the man, who was also stuck. Axel closed his eyes and inhaled slowly, his arms suddenly covered in a fiery red flame. The ice melted into a puddle of water and Axel brought his hands to his legs to melt the rest of the ice off. He managed to finally get up on his feet, for a moment hit by a wave of dizziness.
"Stay out of this." Axel said to the kid. "This isn't your fight."
Albus looked at Axel, as he burnt his way out of the ice. Even though he had foreseen his reaction, he still got annoyed at his stupidity.
As Axel got up, and readied himself for another go at fighting Dave, Albus sighted. ~So predictable...~
" For God's sake! Then who's fight is it then? Is violence the only d**n answer? You are fighting because he was treating the server badly! " He exclaimed, getting agitated at the stupidity of bar fights.
Albus stood, looking at the crowd. They wanted a fight, and they didn't hide it well. Middle-aged men laughed as they drunk several glasses of firewhiskey. They cheered, they laughed, and they taunted.
Albus looked into Axel's eyes, seeing the will of iron in them. " God... Fight all you want... " He said, giving up on the meaningless dispute. Flicking his fingers one second time, the ice engrossing Dave disappeared. Dave grunted, and laughed with the crowd.
The crowds shouts increased in volume. Albus stepped aside, putting his hands in his pockets, slowly fishing out his wand.
He didn't want it to be far too bloody.
"This never happened when I worked over here." Stacey mumbled to herself as she watched everything take place. Her eyes were a light scarlet-- she wasn`t mad enough for them to be red, but she definitely wasn`t happy. She knew the girl who had been pulled into Dave`s lap, and she was absolutely disgusted at the man. She wanted to slug him in the face herself. She`d be happy to, and she was more than capable of doing it and leave the bar without so much as messed up hair. She had seen many fights, been in many more, and studied even more than that. She was a trained fighter and plenty deadly, even pregnant.
Standing up, unnoticed in her little corner, she wove through the half drunk people until she was right behind Albus. She put her hand on his shoulder and sent her message to him mentally. There were too many stupid people there tonight for her to want to be overheard.
*Dave will depend on his muscle, and Axel with depend on his fire. They`ll both get hurt and they`ll both get in trouble. I`m not going to let them ruin the night with stupidity. What do you think we should do? I`ve got fire and you`ve got ice.* She was dressed in long, dark clothing and her hair was falling into his eyes. She seemed to blend in with everything, yet somehow appear as someone you didn`t want to mess with. She just watched silently as things started to unfold more.
Without waiting for an answer from Albus she stepped around him. She was about the same height as the boy, but Dave was a lot thicker.
"Stupid and naive as you are, you aren`t going to fight all you want. One of you will get hurt and both of you will get even more angry. Why don`t both of you just shut up, and Dave can leave." It wasn`t a question or a suggestion, it was an order. She had worked in a bar for the better part of as year. Being thin and female people thought they could get away with things. Well, they couldn`t. Even though she had worked at the Three Broomsticks she still helped out at the Hog`s Head when something broke out. People were scared of her when she was pissed, and they had good reason to be.
Stacey met the muscular man`s eyes and raised an eyebrown as if she was daring him to challenge her. She now stood between Axel and Dave with her hands on her hips. Her posture and tone didn`t leave room for negotiation, yet he was drunk. Maybe he would be stupid enough to start something else. Oh well, he would be the one getting humiliated.
*I swear, people sometimes...*

Axel turned to find out who the owner of the voice was, and was surprised to find Stacey, one of his teachers, stepping around Albus and inbetween him and the other man. He narrowed his eyes as she placed her hand on her hips, as if to say "I'd like to see you try." Axel shook his head.
"Look. I don't need you or this...this kid, getting in the way of things. This is our fight. I have my reasons." Axel glanced at Albus with his sky blue eyes then looked at Dave. "We can leave the bar. But this man here needs to learn a little lesson about respect. I'm not just walking away."
He looked at everyone who had, a mere moment ago, stood cheering and hooting. They were now silent, an occasional whisper escaping their lips. Axel reached for his wand and did his best to mend what had been broken, one table leaned a little unevenly.
Dave didn't say a thing. He was eyeing Stacey, a flirtacious grin upon his face.
"Hey lady. How about you and me ditch this place and go somewhere a little more priv---." Before he could finish the sentence, Axel had brought the man to the ground and punched him in the face. But one punch was all he swung before Dave grabbed him around the throat and this time, flipped Axel onto the ground, holding him there in a chokehold. "You don't...stand a chance kid." He growled. Axel was trying to break free but the man's grip was stronger.

Stacey had been looking at Axel when some extremely inappropriate thoughts drifted into her mind. She slowly turned around to face the large man, her eyes a deep, dark red.
"Hey lady. How about you and me ditch this place and go somewhere a little more priv---."
Even before Axel had moved from his spot Stacey had a knife in her hand and had taken two steps towards Dave. If looks could kill, Axel wouldn`t have to worry about punching the guy. Disgust and hatred were flowing freely from her, and she made no motion to stop it. She was proud of being a woman, and would never stand for someone talking to her that way. She watched as Axel punched him and then was flipped over. Without thinking at all she was right behind Dave and grabbed onto his shoulder. She rammed her knee towards his kidney, trying to pull him away from the other teenager.
*I know you did not just say that to me.* She pushed the thought towards the man`s mind, making sure he heard it. "You conceded, imbecile of a man, what did your father do to your mother." She asked, pushing Dave down on his back and pinning his arms to the floor. She was easily a foot shorter and much thinner, but she was trained for that kind of thing. She was strong in her own way, but that`s why she`d aimed for the kidney. If she had hit her mark he would be in real pain. If not, she was going to have to be careful.
Stacey looked down right into Dave`s eyes, still red.
"I`m married, you sick bastard, and pregnant. I`d kill you before you ever got the chance."

Axel watched as Stacey beat the heck out of the man. Her eyes were a frightening shade of red. Axel rubbed his throat as he stood up, Stacey ramming her knee into the man's kidney region. He groaned and fell to the floor. It was over. It was definitely over.
Axel looked at Dave before looking at Stacey and Albus. He didn't know what to think. They all made him look like a fool. The bystanders were helping Dave up now and hoisting him to a chair, murmuring things about Stacey's strength and how Axel was lucky she came. He clenched his fist a few times then stuck his hands in his pockets, some of the blood on his body drying now. He would take care of it when he left.
"Why did you have to do that?" Axel asked Stacey as he walked past her. "You made me look like an idiot." He pushed open the door with more force than he needed to and went outside into the bitter cold. He didn't even care that he had forgotten his jacket in the bar. The last thing he wanted was to step back in there.
Stacey watched as people helped Dave up into a chair. He was clutching his stomach and giving her a rude look. She raised an eyebrow and flexed her hands. Dave quickly looked away.
She turned to look at Seth`s cousin as he spoke to her. Her eyes had flickered down towards brown, but they spiked to red for a moment as the boy barged out of the bar. With a low sigh she snapped her fingers and the jacket he left behind flew into her hand.
"Why the h&ll do you think I did it?" She snapped back, jogging after him. She nodded to Albus before closing the heavy wood door. "One,that last remark of his was directed at me. Two, there was no way you were going to beat him. You punch with rage, not skill. Didn`t even aim right. And last, because I bloody can. You looked like and idiot anyway." She tossed the jacket at Axel, putting a hand on her hip again and looking at him with a strong gaze.
"You need to learn to control yourself and your anger. I know that`s an odd thing coming from me, but deal with it. I have my own reasons that give me permission to be mad." Like constant voices in her head. Gosh, those things were annoying. Stacey had some anger problems and she knew it. She had been under a lot of stress recently, and it was getting to her.
Axel pressed his lips together as the jacket fell over on top of his head. He quickly yanked it off and hastily shoved his arms through the brown sleeves.
"Whatever." He said, and he headed down the street. He could feel the fire surging through his body. If anyone messed with him now, they would surely get burned.
Stacey snorted and rolled her eyes, turning away and walking back to the bar. She could feel the heat rushing through the boy, but she wasn`t bothered in the slightest by it. She knew more than he did. He was so young at heart.

Alice clenched her teeth together as she stole down the dark alley. She looked down at the ground and let her bangs fall over her eyes. She had just got out of the forest, and her irises were bright and reflective. She didn`t want to be seen, and two shining circles in the dark night were sure to give her away. She moved silently, stealthily, like a cat. Her mind was closed to everything but her own mind. She was tired of overhearing everything.
She hated it all now. Seth had left yesterday, and she was
not in a good mood.
She was restless and couldn`t sit still, especially not in the castle with so many minds running around unguarded. It made her sick to stand near the hundreds of chuldren milling about, trying to entertain themselves. That was why shew as in the forest. Students were forbidden, but that didn`t stop many of them. So she had gone up into the mountains and fed up there. No people were there, and there was larger game. She felt energized, renewed, almost drunk on all of the blood she had taken in. She had worn dark clothing-- a long-sleeved black shirt, gloves, and tight black pants. Her white skin was like a bright beacon to all of the animals, so she had only left her face unguarded.
She just kept moving, not really paying attention where she went. She didn`t care where she went. Just like she didn`t care where Seth went. Well, that`s what she told herself. She refused to think of Seth right now. She was supposed to be mad at him.
And that`s when she ran into someone.
"Ooompf."
Axel found himself colliding with a girl, and nearly lost his step, almost falling backwards. But he caught his balance. He almost told the person off, but he recognized the jet black hair and big blue eyes. Her brilliantly white skin and unnatural beauty. It was Alice Brokehart, Seth's girl.
"Sorry." He mumbled. "I wasn't really paying attention on where I was going. You're Alice right? Seth's girlfriend?"
Something was off about Alice. The last time he saw her, she seemed quiet and serene. She was as peaceful as a butterfly. But she seemed edgy. Maybe anxious was a better word. He couldn't quite put his finger on it, but something was definitely different.
"Oh."
Alice caught herself, of course, but she instantly put her hand on the person`s shoulder to steady them. She had never run into a vampire as a human, but she imagined it was like running into a wall.
"I`m sorry." She said before she recognized who it was. The first things she noticed was the person`s scent. Male, teenager, pissed, but there`s something familiar about him. "Oh." She repeated. It was Axel, Seth`s cousin.
"Um, yeah, I`m Alice. Just Alice." Without saying it her tone managed to get the point across that yes, she was Alice, no, she was not Seth`s girlfriend. Seth hadn`t really broken up with her, but "I think we need to go separate ways" was good enough for her, and him, aparently.
She took a step back, letting her hands fall to her sides. She flipped her balck hair over her shoulder and brushed her hair away from her bright eyes.
"Oh. That's right. He left. I heard my Aunt was sick." Axel said. He cared for his Aunt and wished her the best, but she never really liked Axel and it was best that he didn't accompany Seth to St. Mungo's.
Axel got the hint when she said it was just her, emphasis on the just. He nodded. "Gotcha." He clinched his fists and then opened them and let them hang like that loosely. He needed to run. That would take his anger down.
"Well, I'm sorry I ran into you." He said, before stepping past her.
Alice clenched her teeth, watching Axel clench his hands. His thoguths were too easy to read. D@mn. She closed her mind until all was quiet.
"Wait," She started as he stepped around her, "you didn`t run into me, I ran into you. I`m sorry, you could have been hurt. I don`t imagine I`m very soft. Where are you going? It`s not really safe to be by yourself right now out here. Lots of vampires out, not all of them friendly." She spoke quickly, without taking a breath. She didn`t need air, and she wanted to get everything out before he really left. And their were really other vamps out. She had run into a couple on her way back into Hogsmead.
Axel arched a brow. Why was everyone trying to protect him? He hated that. But this girl seemed genuine about her apology. She really didn't mean to run into him and cared about him getting hurt. The other's, they just said how he looked idiotic. He was pathetic.
And maybe he was. So what?
"I think I'll be alright." Axel said, turning around. "But thanks for lookin' out for me."
Alcie snorted, following Axel.
"I don`t think so. You`re angry, and frankly stink of testosterone. Any hungry beast will be drawn to you instantly. What happened? You`re angry, at least you were. And you`ve got a cut on your forehead. Blood`s not a good thing to smell like, either." She wrinkled her nose, her eyes glowing brightly. She wasn`t hungry in the slightest, and felt like she sloshes every time she moved with all of the blood she had drunk. Her cheeks actually looked a little rosy, even.
Axel rolled his eyes and sighed.
"I don't stink. And I was in a fight. Down at the Hog's Head." He had more cuts and such, but they were hidden underneath his jacket. He moved a piece of hair that had blown into his eyes and looked at her.
"So what do you suppose I do if I can't be out here alone?" He asked.
Alice shrugged, smiling to herself.
"I dunno, but a firewhiskey sounds good to me." She suggested. "We don`t have to go to the Hog`s Head, and I`m guessing that`s not a good place to go right now, anyway. Was there a girl involved?" She smelled the air again, the scent of a female floating towards her, and it wasn`t her own scent. "Oh, and you do stink, you just can`t smell it. And I didn`t say it was a bad stink. It just stinks like testosterone."
Axel thought to himself for a moment. A Firewhiskey did sound good. A nice relaxer after that little incident. But didn't vampire's drink blood? He didn't bother asking. If that's what she wanted, then alright.
"Yeah. There was. I just don't like how some men treat girls. It's disgusting." Seeing a man who was older than him disrespecting a woman made Axel angry. And he lost his temper. He didn't mean to, it just happened.
"Whaddya say we get it to go and take a walk?" Axel asked, his eyes darting to The Three Broomsticks.
Alice nodded, glad for once that she couldn`t read the boy`s thoughts. She saw something flicker in his eyes-- was it anger or pain?-- but she ignored it. It was great not to know every little detail of an event she hadn`t witnessed.
"Sure. It feels great out here anyway." She flipped her hair over her shoulder and started walking towards the Three Broomsticks. It was actually pretty cold out for a human. It had been colder, but winter was coming to an end. It wasn`t as cold as it had been a few weeks ago, but the temperature was still pretty close to freezing. Of course, being a vampire, she hardly felt the cold.
Axel smiled and touched her shoulder.
"Wait here. I'll be right back." He said before running to The Three Broomsticks. It was a good five minutes before he returned, two brown bottles of firewhiskey in his hands. He handed one to Alice and popped off the cap on his.
He didn't really know what to talk about or do next, so he took a swig of the alcohol and looked up at the sky.
Alice waited for Axel to return and smile when he did. "Thanks." She said, flicking the top off of the bottle and taking a sip. The cool liquid burned her throat as she swallowed and she grinned.
"You want me to pay you back, I can." She said, reaching into the pocket of her pants for some coins.
Axel shook his head and took another long sip.
"It's cool. Don't worry 'bout it. Wasn't that much anyway." He said. He turned towards the school and started walking, his body already feeling a little buzz from the firewhiskey. He adjusted the collar of his jacket and turned to wait for Alice.
Alice followed Axel, wishing she could feel the buzz she knew was creeping into him. It took a ton of alcohol to phase her at all, and she hated it.
"Where do you want to go? If you don`t mind, I don`t really want to go back to the school. Too many people." She shivered, a look of discomfort on her face. It was hard for her to block everything out, and even harder when she was surrounded by hundreds of little kids.
"Tell you what. How about you lead?" Axel said. "I don't really wanna head back to the school either." Axel brought the bottle to his lips, but didn't drink. He wasn't going to get drunk or anything, but needed something to relax.
"So tell me about yourself." Axel said casually, trying to start a conversation.
Alice started off in a random direction and started to answer the question.
"Well, I`m a vampire, you know that. I was raised in France about the same time everyone was really getting freaked out by us and trying to hunt us. I went to a school near Paris for a while after I was changed, but got kicked out. After that I just sort of wondered around. Traveled a bit. Ended up here. Nobody really knew me the first few years I was here. Then I met Seth after that." Alice`s eyes darkened a little and she took a long pull from her bottle, finishing almsot half of it.
"What about you?"
Axel noticed Alice change a little after mentioning Seth. He sighed.
"My parent's died when I was little. Maybe 8. I try not to remember. My sister died too. So I went to live with...with Seth. His Mum didn't like me for some reason. And her Husband and Son conformed that way too. My Aunt always made me feel invisable. She hated me. That's why I decided not to go visit her in the Hospital." He looked at the bottle and threw it away, still rather full.
"So I moved out and got sent here to finish my education."
Alice nodded slowly and rolled her bottle between her hands.
"Everyone I knew before died. It was hard on me at first, but, you know, you get over it. You can`t keep worrying about things in the past. They`re in the past. There`s nothing you can do about it, so why make a fuss over it?" She said evenly, her bright blue eyes getting distant.
((That sounds like something from The Lion King....))
Axel nodded. That was his attitude about it. He moved on from the accident. It was his past and he had to focus on the future. He needed to start planning it.
"Do you miss him?" Axel asked quietly. "Seth?"
(("You put your behind in your past." "No, no, no. Stand back before you hurt yourself. You gotta put your past behind ya." =) ))
Alice stopped walking, her eyes on the brown bottle. The liquid smelled sweet in the cool air, sharp in the subtle scents of the nearby woods.
"Yes," She replied. "I do miss him. It`s only been a day, but still. I know why he had to leave, and I understand it." Her voice got quiter as she went on.
"It's too bad things had to happen the way they did." Axel replied, glancing at her before focusing back on their path. "But you know what? Being single isn't so bad. You don't have to worry about being tied down or anything. You can do whatever you want. Whenever you want."
Alice started walking again. She was heading towards the forest, she noticed.
"Yeah, I guess. It`s just a little weird to have to adjust to things this fast." She replied, taking another swig of her firewhiskey, finishing it off.
((SHORT.))
"Seth probably told you, but we're both wolf animagus's." Axel said. "I know I said for you to lead the way, but now that we're going toward's the forest, I'd like to show you something. Would you mind going for a little ride?"
Alice smiled.
"I can ran faster than you, wolf boy. Go ahead, but I`m not riding." She smirked and put both of her hands on her empty bottle. With a little tinkling noise she crushed the glass into sand and let it blow out of her hand.
Axel raised a brow and then chuckled.
"Easy girl. I don''t want to compete, just thought I'd be nice. But have it your way."
With that being said, Axel had started running, transforming into a big black wolf in mid-air. As his paws hit the ground, dirt had flown up from the ground. He burst past trees and all sorts of land formations, knowing that Alice would be right behind him if not beside.
Alice laughed and was right beside Axel as he hit the ground as a wolf. The pace he was going was like a nice jog for her, but it still felt nice to be moving quickly.
"Where are we going?" She asked, speaking loudly so he heard her over the rustle of leaves and the rush of wind.
Axel didn't, well, couldn't say anything. He remained quiet and sped up, so that his surroundings were ridiculously blurred, green, brown, and blacks all forming together. Axel loved to run. Especially in wooded areas like this. The air had a unique smell to it. It smelled clean and fresh. And the sights were amazing.
Finally Axel stopped when they reached the end of the woods, coming to a section with a stone wall. He transformed back into his human form and had already started climbing. He reached the top and sat down on the wall.
"Come on!" Axel said, grinning. Behind him was a lake, much different from the one back at Hogwarts. This one was crystal clear and amazingly clean. It didn't even have a lake like smell. That...fishy smell. And though it was Winter and still cold, it was a pretty sight.
"You could have thought it." The vampire said as a response and she leapt up the wall, jumping up beside Axel.
"Wow. It`s really pretty up here. I`ve never been this far this way." She said, swinging her legs over the side of the wall.
((Blah.))
"Eh. Mind powers are over-rated." He responded, grasping the wall with boths hands and leaning forward to see the view. The lake sparkled as the sun reflected into the cool waters.
"I've only been here a couple times. Found it while doing one of my runs. I like it better than the lake back at Hogwarts. There aren't many people here. It's almost like a secret spot."
((Ish ngihttime. No sun.))
"It is like a secret spot. I can tell that no one comes up here that often. The grass isn`t trapled down and there aren`t any paths. Except for that one over there," Alice puased and pointed off into the distance at something a human wouldn`t see. "That`s from an animal, though, not a human."
((I have a wicked idea. =) But you can`t know what it is.))

"You have good eyesight." He said with a crooked smiled. "All I have is slightly-better-than-human-hearing." Axel squinted his eyes, staring at the same area Alice was, only he couldn't see anything at all.
((Short.))
Alice grinned. "Yeah, well, I had to give up a lot to have good eyesight and hearing." Her voice dropped.
"You`re lucky you just have slightly-better-than-human-hearing. It`s really annoying to hear everything all the time. Seriously, it sucks."
"Must be quite the headache." Axel said thoughtfully. He looked at her, her hair blowing softly as a breeze blew by. She was a beautiful girl, but Axel wondered, since she was practically perfect, if that was why Seth liked her so much. He was always with her, all googly-eyed. Sure, Axel had to agree, she was stunning, but it didn't mean anything to him.
Alice ran her fingers through her hair, her eyes reflecting the soft moonlight. She could feel heat coming from where Axel was and out of the corner of her eye saw that he was looking at her. For some reason she felt self conscious. she knew she had no reason to be. Girl would kill to look like her, and she knew it. It just seemed like Axel looked past her nice looks and saw what she was inside. She wondered what exactly he saw.
"So, what do you like to do when you aren`t wandering around?" She asked, moving her large eyes until they rested on Axel`s.
Axel shrugged, looking up at the moon. It was so big tonight. Full and white.
"You mean besides running? Well..., I don't really do all that much. I like watching the moon. There's just something about it that attracts me. It's kinda...weird." He laughed. "Um, I really don't have that much to say. I spend a lot of my time doing homework, running, and sleeping." He looked back over at her.
"What about you? What do vampires do for fun?"
Alice snorted and leaned back on the wall, still straddling it. Her skin was pale in the moonlight, almost as white as the moon.
"I don`t do much. It`s hard to have real fun anymore. I hunt. When I`m not hunting I`m just around, usually." She dropped her eyes, suddenly feeling like he was seeing through her again. "I don`t do very much anymore. I`ve done all there is to do."
"So you just...wander around all day until its time to get some blood?" Axel brought his hand ro his chin, rubbing it as if he was thinking. "Well, that's no fun! There's gotta be something you haven't done."
He stared down at the dark ground, trying to come up with something exciting. Something he could get Alice to do. She seemed like she needed something to raise her spirits. He could tell she was still sad about Seth.
The moon was out, and that meant that Leah was out too. She walked through the forest endlessly. Every once and a while she would run as fast as she could, as long as she could, and then just start walking again. The pattern was random, but she traveled very far, very fast. She did have an end destination, but the route there didn't really matter to her. Eventually she saw what she was looking for. The wall.
It was a strange thing, this wall. But something about it called to Leah. She climbed it quickly, and began to walk along it. She concentrated on balancing, occasionally looking up. As she glanced up to check her surroundings, she saw figures sitting on the wall. It appeared to be two people. She recognized them as Axel and Alice, and hurried towards them.
Once she got close enough, she was able to hear their voices. She wasn't eavesdropping or anything! Well... let's be honest here. Yes. She was eavesdropping. Big deal.
"Hi you two!" She said, perkily. "I don't mean to impose, but... I happen to know a really fun pass-time"
((Okay so... I just realized that my first sentence seems kind of like I'm out on the prowl XP but oh well... I kind of like it :) ))
Alice heard Leah way before Axel did. First she heard the sound of footfalls, followed by breathing. Soont he wind blew the smell of another vampire to her and she smiled.
"Just thought you`d like to know, but Leah`s upwind." Alice breathed to Axel. She looked over his shoulder and grinned at the fellow vamp.
"Hey, Leah. Haven`t seen you in a while."
((Blah. My head hurts.))
Being upwind and all, Leah didn't hear Alice mention to Axel that she was coming. However, it wouldn't have mattered much to her anyways. She sat down next to them and smiled. It had been a long time since she had seen Alice, but she had seen Axel a couple of times.
"I know! It's been too long, Alice! Much too long."
((Blah. That's awful. Sidenote: I know that was short but... my contacts are dry and my bed looks really comfortable right about now. XD ))
"Hey Leah!" Axel said with a grin. "How are you?" He watched as she sat down once the two girls greeted each other. "So you two ladies know each other, eh?" They were both vampires after all.
"Hi Axel! I'm great! All that running felt so good!"
She laughed and smiled at Axel. She couldn't believe that other people actually came to the wall! She hadn't been coming for very long, and had assumed that someone knew about it, yet it still surprised her.
"And yes we do know each other! All that vampire bondage!" Leah laughed.
"Running feels great. Gotta love that feeling of the wind on your skin." Axel chuckled. Vampire bondage.
"So what brings you out here to this wall at this time of night?" Axel asked, looking at Leah.
"That it does my friend, that it does!" Leah said, laughing, simply because she was enjoying herself.
Leah looked at Axel, eyebrow raised, and said, "Ahh, but why my friend, are you out on the wall this time of night?"
((Sorry if this post seems wierd... but I just got done watching a mathematical crime show :) ))
Axel grinned at Leah's strange way of speaking.
"Well, I got in a fight, ran into this lady over here," he nodded towards Alice, "and we started talking. So I brought her out here. Tonight seems like a good night to chill, don't ya think?"
Alice smiled at Leah, giving her an understanding look.
"It`s just too crouded at school or in town, you know? I wanted some quiet, without five hundred minds pushing on mine." She swung her legs back and forth, looking back out at the beautiful landscape.
((Understanding of what? ;) ))
"That seems like a good enough reason to me!" Leah said to both of them. "But Axel, why did you get in a fight? Hasn't anyone told you that violence isn't the answer?"
Leah smiled at Axel and Alice, laughing. They really did understand her, which was odd, because they hadn't been friends for very long. But it was definitely nice to have them here tonight.

Axel bit his lip then laughed. "It's a long story. And stupid too. I know violence isn't the answer, but sometimes it's the only thing to get a point across."

Leah laughed at Axel's slight avoidance of the question and shook her head. "Well I suppose I can accept that. Especially because the same thing happens to me every once and a while too!"
Alice ran her fingers through her long black hair.
"He was lucky I found him before another vampire did. He probably would have gotten attacked, the way he was acting." She added in, moving her reflective blue eyes between Leah and Axel with a smile.
Axel turned to Alice, his brow raised.
"Are you saying I can defend myself? Vampires aren't the ultimate species you know. You may be strong and fast, but I'm faster than the average wold animagus."
Leah stayed silent, waiting for Alice's response. Her eyes darted back and forth between the two, not wanting to miss a thing. She was fairly sure that if she tried to interfere, she would be ignored. Therefore, she stayed out of it.
Alice snorted. Seth had given her the same argument. Yeah, he was fast. Yeah, she was faster.
"Not faster than a thirsty vampire, Axel. They`ll do whatever they have to to get blood. A few scratches aren`t going to hurt them, and that`d probably be the mos tyou could do. No offense to your male dignity, though. I`ve just been around to fight longer than you have." She reahced out her arm and patted him on the head.
Leah secretly wished that Axel would bite Alice's arm when she patted his head just to prove his wolf-ish-ness. She laughed to herself as the imagined scene played out in her head. She kept her eyes on Axel, waiting for him to react. She hoped that his male dignity remained intact, because there wasn't anything undignified about being an animagus. Personally, Leah thought that they were pretty cool.
"Yeah, yeah." Axel replied, rolling his eyes. He looked at her as he pet her head and playfully pretended to almost bite her.
"Why are you petting me like a dog?" He asked with a pearly white grin.
Alice raised an eyebrow.
"You`re a wolf Animagus, remember? Seriously, you`re going to have to get looked at if you can`t remember that you can turn into a wild animal." She teased lightly, winking up at Leah.
Leah laughed as Alice and Axel teased each other.
"I don't want to take sides!" Leah laughed, throwing her hands up in defense as Alice winked at her.
Axel stuck out his tongue before hopping off of the wall and already starting to walk towards the lake. As he walked, he quickly threw off his shirt, revealing a surprisingly toned body for such skinny structure.
"I don't know about you ladies, but I'm in the mood for a swim." He called to them as he headed for the cold water.
Alice looked at Leah with a grin.
"Hey, what harm could it do?" Before the other vampire could answer she hopped off the wall and pulled off her long sleeved shirt and revealing a light pink tank top.
Leah shrugged and hopped off of the wall as well. She followed the other two into the forest towards the lake. She decided to keep her clothes on until they actually reached the lake, unlike the other two who chose not to.
"Not much" Leah said to Alice. The idea of a swim was a nice one, and Leah looked forward to the cool waters.
Axel grinned and turned his head to Alice, winking at her before sprinting and jumping into the cold frigid water. It was a few seconds before Axel came up to the surface, his crimson red hair stuck to his face and almost covering his eyes. His teeth chattered a little but he was smiling.
"Water's great." He said with a slight stutter from the cold.
Leah could see the edge of the clearing surrounding the lake. She pulled off her sweatshirt and t-shirt underneath, leaving her sports bra. She removed her baggy sweatpants as well, but still had shorts on. Leaving her clothes in a small pile near the edge of the clearing, she took a running start.
She dove into the freezing cold water, and pulled herself deeper and deeper. Finally, her feet hit the sandy bottom, and she pushed off of it, twirling towards the surface. She emerged, exhaling deeply.
"Wow! This is so perfect! It does feel great!" Leah sighed, contently.
"Yeah. It's lovely. " Axel shivered before swimming towards the center of the lake, where the water was much deeper. He didn't like feeling the murky stuff between his toes.
The moon's light glowed over the lake so that Axel's skin looked almost pure white, which made his hair stand out more than it normally did. He took a deep breath before diving underneath the water's surface.
Alice dove in seconds after Axel, emerging with her long black hair plastered on her face, neck, and back. She smiled at Axel and Leah before diving back under the water. She stayed down. She didn`t need to breathe, and there was no chance of her drowning. She moved downward, but she hit the muddy bottom. Wrinkling her nose she pushed away from the shore into deeper water.
She swam gracefully and soon she was easily twenty feet under. Looking back up she saw someone swim above her. She floated upwards and close to the person, her black hair swirling around her face.
((Blah.))
Leah felt something tickle her toes. She swam away from whatever it was. Once she was far enough away to not feel it anymore, she dove underwater, curious. She swam just below the surface, looking for whatever it was. Then she saw Alice, deep underwater. Her black hair was floating in all directions. That must have been what tickled her toes, Leah determined.
She swam down by Alice and smiled at her.
Axel grinned. Alice looked funny with her black hair stuck to her face like that. He swam up to the surface, having a limited air supply and needing to breathe, and took a deep breath. He waited for the two to rise from underneath the water and wiped his eyes.

Alice smiled at Leah before swimming to the surface again. She emerged right behind Axel. Her reflective eyes flashed brightly and she turned to look up at the moon. It was like a huge light disk in the sky. She stared at it, forgetting everything else for the moment.
Axel heard someone rise out of the water behind him and a mischievious smile grew on his face. He turned around quickly and dunked Alice back into the water and laughed.
"Boo?"
Alice laughed, not caring that water rushed into her mouth when she did so. She dipped under Axel quickly, quicker than any human, and swam a dozen feet below him before coming up behind him.
Leah watched them, laughing. She saw Alice go under water, and Leah put her face own head under water in order to keep an eye on Alice. She had gone deep enough that Leah could only see her outline from the surface.
And then a big dragon came and ate them all....
Good one Sky. I love it. Seriously, way to go.

This time, Axel's attention was focused on some turtle that rose out of the water, its spotted shell peaking out of the water. The moon's light just barely hit it, getting only part of the shell. So he didn't notice sly little Alice rise out of the water behind him.

Alice carefully swam up behind Axel, waiting and making sure that he didn`t notice her. Then she jerked forward and covered his eyes with her hands, pushing him towards the surface in a smooth but forceful movement.
Axel yelled and nearly jumped out of his skin as icy cold hands obstructed his view. He was so shaken that he didn't even try to resist. Then he realized it was Alice.
"I..guess-I guess I derserved that since I dunked..you." Axel said.
Alice laughed, surfacing in front of Axel.
"Yeah, but that`s not why I did it. You said you weren`t scared of me. Well, you should be." She moved so that she was floating on her back, her pink tank soakeding against her cold skin. Her black hair fanned out around her face, and she started swimming away leisurely.
Axel smirked.
"I'm not scared of you." He said. "You just surprised me." He chuckled before swimming beside her and lifting a wet piece of black hair. "Now, if I didn't know you, and I saw you floating in the water with your hair surrounding you like so, I would be scared."
Alice smirked, too.
"Look dead, don`t I? Get used to it. I don`t change much." She closed her eyes and started to drift away. She looked very much like a corpse, with her pale skin and dark hair. In fact, the only reason she looked alive was that she was moving her arms back and forth to propell herself through the water.
