The Lake / (New R/p) Father’s Puppet
August 20, 2005, 08:11:11 AM
This takes place in their fifth year, that would be Harry's and Kiara, Max, the old crew, ya know what I is talking about,  As for the newbies, play along if you will, but follow the leads. Thanks ~K~

"No father, I most certainly will not let Max go.  It is of no use, go away before someone sees you here, like Dumbledore for instance.."  Kiara's words trailed off, she had been talking to what seemed to be a ghostly image of Voldemort, her emerald eyes glowing with the redness that locked her as his own, in her anger at his showing up even in this form, on the Hogwarts grounds.

There was no reply to her words, but the image vanished, but not before Kiara hit he cold hard ground of the frozen winter lawn; unconscious, the black velvet choker at her neck vibrated slightly, the emblem that hung from its front red hot.

Harry Potter Fan Fiction / Chaos Factor
May 7, 2005, 10:18:35 AM
This is just a short and yes, it leaves off with a cliffhanger, but to see what happens, you will just have to ask and you shall have an update from time to time.  Though there are a few here who might know a bit of the continuing story by now. ;);)

Long before there were any planets, before any stars before the universe was created, there were entities, these entities became bored, just existing amongst themselves and so, they came together, each of them, to decide what it was they wished to begin.

There was of course, an entity of light, and one of darkness, but also, there were others, one of love and caring, one of hate and pain.  These four entities, existed together in harmony, if it was just them, there would have never been any problems in their existence, however, there was one more, an entity of Chaos, chaos, destruction and carnage, this entity, would often become hard to handle, it could cause hate and discontent, even in the entity designed to love.

The main purpose for the first four entities was to give Chaos, a place to reside, some place that would keep it busy long enough for the others to exists in peace.

They decided, with out the knowledge of the Chaos entity, to create what they would call worlds.  In these worlds, of course, they would create living beings to walk upon them, beings for the four entities to care for and teach.  They also planned to trap the Chaos entity in its own prison, hold it to a planet that would become known, as earth.

In what took, according to us humans, millions of years, what we know of our universe was created and now, it was time to make the final planet, this one, they started from the center, the core of this planet was created, and to the entity known as Chaos, it's prison, void, was created as well, right about it as the planet grew.

The other entities, satisfied in their actions, began creation of the plants and water, the land and finally, the creatures.

Little did they know, Chaos was creating a world of its very own, right in the depths of their beautiful planet, a world created totally out of chaos and destruction, hence, Demons were born.  But Demons were not the only creatures that Chaos designed, it also designed other creatures as well, and soon, in a matter of several thousand years, its creatures made their way out of the chaos void and began to influence the creatures of the surface.

Fire was the first chaotic form to be introduced to the planet surface, as the fire sprites were the quickest and really, the most mischievous of the lot.  But soon, other creatures began to show, some not more than microscopic organisms that found their way to the humans, distorting them, mutating them.  This time, the other entities came aware and stopped the destruction of their creatures known as Humans, though they could not erase the damage that had already begun.

The ones mutated, became known as Vampires and Lycans, Werewolves and the like, these creatures however, could not be unmade, as they were a form of life and as such, had to be left to live.

The humans grew in intelligence, and began to construct devises to help them along their way, there were, however, still, those who had been mutated so slightly that it went unnoticed and soon, their children began to show signs of what we know now as, magic.

The Chaos entity could no longer be ignored, it was much more powerful than the others had given it credit for and it, its self had already broken its seal, but would not leave its void, as it was still, not so powerful that it could defy the orders of the others.

Another thousand years and the entities began to become known as the Gods.  Another and the humans began to grow apart.  In the year 3900 one final war broke out between the humans, a war that brought out the magical world as well.

This world war of weapons designed to destroy life, lasted for 5 years, and when it had finished, the face of the planet was destroyed.  It was the magical creatures, the creatures of Chaos that saved more than a quarter of the human life on the planet, it was the demons, the vampires and the Lycans that saved the other non-magical creatures and when it was over, it was the God of Chaos, that was thanked, for saving the planet.

The other four Gods, talked amongst themselves and finally came to the conclusion that a rebuild of a world on this planet need be started, and exactly 100 years, after the devastating war had ended, and the plants, animals and such began to flourish again, they found a way to perhaps tame Chaos a bit.

They went to the home of Chaos to plead with it, to ask it to cooperate.  They were not pleased with the great influence that Chaos had over their creatures, and they decided to force it into a human shape, in the dream that it would begin to feel.

Ok, this is just the ending of a very long life's story.  The male parts were written by a r.p friend of mine, this is an actual character kill off I and he did together in a R.p site.  I just loved how it came out and so, here it is, this is it, there is no more so don't ask.

Kalindria walked along the lakeshore, her eyes red from crying, her mood solemn and her whole aura sending off sadness unknown to the normal happy-go-lucky- Werefox Queen.

She had spent the entire night at the graveyard, where her fallen 'family' members reside and she had been thinking of her punishment to the humans. This was something she would never forgive herself for, something inexcusable, even in the aftermath of what had been done to her kind, there had been no excuse, and that is just what she continued to tell herself.

She came upon a spot where the rocks had seemed to had gathered and waded in, her feet already bare, not caring about the dress she wore, it seemed that nothing mattered, in all reality, not really, not now.

Caine sighed heavily, this was the part of the job he hated, but it was the part that was the most important. He was a defender of humanity, and its foes come in all shapes and sizes. It wouldn't be the first time that he had to destroy something of beauty, but beauty could be deceiving.

To destroy one man in cold blood was case enough for his judgment. But to destroy fifty plus, and even women and children was to merit the coldest punishment a guardian had to offer. It was his job and he had work to do.

"Kalindria, Werefox Queen" He muttered in his head. "Widow, husband killed by poachers; Crime, Murder of the highest degree. Sentence..." he took a deep breath to calm himself. "Death."

He strode from the woods purposefully towards the Werefox. A pistol in his hand, the barrel leveled at her head.

"Kalindria, prepare to stand trial and judgment."

Kalindria didn't even look up; she stared down into the clear waters of the lake, her head bent down and the water climbing up her dress as it hung limply in the waters. She was so still, the tears falling from her eyes cold be seen as they hit the surface causing the ripples to waver outwards until they reach the shore, not all too far away.

"Conner, I had wondered when you would be around. I didn't think that our next meeting would be as pleasant as our first." She started, the tears still falling from her eyes. "Kill me, go ahead, it would be a lot more pleasant to sift off into the safety of darkness, than to live with what I have done..." She went on, as she took yet another step into the lake, her movement slow, almost zombie like, just like her normally sweet voice, dead.

"If you hadn't come along, I would have been dead the next time you saw me anyway, so what difference does it make really? You kill me, I kill me, no matter, I am not what I thought I was, I'm a monster, just like all those men, not too long ago. Only difference, I feel sorrow for what I did..." She finished, taking a few more steppes into the lake.

Caine pulled back the hammer of the pistol. His face was set and as grim as death itself.

"You of all people should realize that I am not one for poetic talk." The barrel remained locked on her head. His finger brushed lightly on the trigger, his eyes cold and fierce, penetrating straight into Kalindria's inhuman soul.

"It's customary that I give those I judge some time to speak in their own defense, do you wish that last request?"

Kalindria turned her head to him, her emerald eyes looking just as sad as any could.

"Poetic talk Conner, I only speak the truth and you know it. Go ahead, kill me, show me before I die just how insensitive the human race is, show me how it hasn't changed any, go ahead, and show me that I am dying, by your hand, because of what your people did to me and my kind, show me that I am right, show me, then maybe, just maybe." She paused, the tears still running freely from her once bright and happy emerald eyes. "I will rest in peace, knowing what I did, was not so wrong. Show me how cruel humans really are." She finished, her eyes locked on his.

She was not going to talk him out of it, she had come here to die, the near invisible, glass like, sword she held at her side lifted and she brought it to point at her chest. "Kill me Conner, so that I can rest, or I will do it and deny you the satisfaction of the kill you so long for." She pressed the blade against her chest and the tip penetrated the skin there, her crimson blood began to flow out, staining the white gown she wore. She did not wince against the pain, her eyes looked as though they welcomed it.

Her words troubled him; he was troubled by that same argument every time he passed judgment. He had to remember that beneath that crying, fatalistic exterior was a beast as dangerous and as evil as any werewolf. The humans she killed may have expressed sorrow for the killed Werefox, perhaps even respect, but that didn't stop her from carrying out her own twisted sense of duty.

She pressed a glass sword into her chest. She was obviously distraught, but murder is murder. She would have to be an example to the rest of the werecreature world that humans were not just fodder, not just meat for them to claw. The humans had their own claw and that was the Guardian. If he didn't carry out this judgment then the claw would be useless and humanity would have no defense against its foes.

He rested the finger lightly on the trigger. It had to be done, it was not cruelty. It was protection, humanity was frail. Its oppressors knew only destruction and death was their currency. Wasn't it?

He narrowed his eyes and took careful aim, the pistol roared and its echo resounded through the valley.

The gun smoke cleared and he had seen that his shot was on its mark. The glass sword shattered and only a handle left in Kalindria's hand.

Kalindria stood, unmoved, unshaken, her eyes glazing over as she continued to look at him. The glass-like sword may have been shattered, but the piece she had gotten in, slid further when the bullet hit its target and now lay inside her chest, she fell to her knees in the water, her crimson blood flowing faster than ever now, her eyes never leaving his.

"Thank you Conner..." She said, the tears going away now as the realization that she was wrong about humans, came to her.

"I never realized just how pretty this lake was..." She said softly, lifting one hand from the water and watching as the water there drained out of her cupped hand. "Tell them I am sorry, tell them that another will come to help them now, one perhaps not so..." She took a shuddering breath and coughed, blood running out of the corner of her mouth. "Horrible..." She finished in a whisper, he would have been hard pressed to hear, and then fell, face first into the water.

Chapter 1 Kalindria

"Well, today is the day."  His voice sounded so irritating in her head.  "Hey, you listening to me girl?"  He just kept talking, why wouldn't he just shut his mouth, why did he have to be there to remind her of the task she would have to set out and begin today?  "Kalindria, hey, look at me."  He said again, his voice coming closer to her now, she could almost feel his presence that in her room, even though he wasn't there and she knew it.

"SHUT UP BELDORAN!"  She yelled into the dusky dark room.

"Well, if you want to be that way about it, I'll just leave you to your task....My aren't we touchy today."  Beldoran replied in a sullen tone.

"Wait, I'm sorry, its just, does it have to be today?"  Kalindria asked.  "And why me, why couldn't someone else perform the sending ceremony?"  She finished in a slight whining tone.

"Because Kalindria, you were the chosen one, you are the only one capable to send the dead home, if you don't do it, then there will just be more creatures for you to deal with on your journey, you do remember what happens to the dead if they are not sent along to their final resting place, don't you?"  He reprimanded her in a soft, almost fatherly voice.

"Of course I do, silly.  They become the property of the one they call Nightmare, the King of the dark creatures."  She responded, swinging her legs over the small bed she was lying on and setting her feet on the cold, dusty wooden floor of her room.

"Good then, I must go and prepare a few things, will you be alright for a few hours with out my guidance?"  Beldoran asked and told her all at once.

"I am sure I can manage, now get out of here you old ghost, I need to shower."  She replied in a sort of loving, playful tone.

"Ok, little girl."  He responded in the same playful, loving tone and then his presence was gone from the room and the torch lights flicked on, one by one to reveal the dusty, lightly furnished room of her last resting place she could call home.

Kalindria was a medium built, black haired beauty of the Northern lands, meaning her skin was rather pale.  She however, unlike the rest of her race, had piecing, almost iridescent violet eyes, marking her a true watcher of the people.

This was titled her, on her 16th birthday, today, as the, Strijder, or warrior, in plain English.  That, and it was told that her keeping would be of the souls of the dead.  It was her duty to perform the ceremony that would take their souls into her and deny the Dark Lord, Nightmare of his prizes, or in other words, keeping him from building up his army of the dead.

Hogsmead / Searching
February 25, 2005, 06:03:58 AM
Kiara walked through the crowded streets of Hogsmead.  Her emerald eyes searched each and every shadow and all along the way.  She had not seen Max in a few days and was beginning to worry a she never left her side for so long with out letting her know where it was he was off to.

She sighed slightly, her manner that of a nervous wreck, jumping at every strange sound and every shadow, her mind not on anything but Max, and where in the heck he had gotten off to, the last time he disappeared like this, her father had stolen him away and nearly killed him.

Kiara sat up in bed, turned the covers down and then lightly and quietly got out, not wanting to disturb Max, then after slipping her slippers onto her feet, she pulled on her robe and headed out to the living room, sat on the couch and stared at the wall.

A web site purporting to offer electronic versions of all five "Harry Potter" novels by JK Rowling, including the unreleased sixth book, has sprung up and is advertising online to fans through search engines and ad-supported sites like HPANA. It should be noted that there are no authorized electronic text versions of the "Potter" books, period. The sixth, "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," is to be released July 16.

Slytherin / Awakening
January 22, 2005, 12:18:59 AM
Kiara walked through the streets of her old stomping ground, the school in which she had met her now husband and found out about her past, though she really didn't want it, she was the daughter of Voldem0rt and though at the time, she figured she could rule the world, now she knew she couldn't, she knew she needed help from friends and others, however, most of them never knew her true self, and only she could ever tell them,.  She figured her father would know about the powers she held, maybe that deal he had made with the devil for her birth was more than it seemed though and maybe, even her father didn't know for sure why it was that his daughter was chosen as the earth's only source of life.

Now, with the devil hot on her trail, wanting her to either die by his hand, or to stand with him so that he could walk the earth once more, the battles with her father didn't seem so terrifying.  She still didn't underestimate her father's power, as he was indeed strong, though she had proven time and time again that she was the stronger.  He did have an advantage, that stupid little black choker he had bestowed upon her on her seventeenth birthday.  The very same one she still wore today, 10 years later, the very item that kept her from being able to kill him.

She ran her fingers over the soft leather of the choker now, a slight smile lifted the corners of her lips and then she shook her head.

"All right father, what is it you want?"  She asked, knowing he had to be here somewhere; the choker never stung her unless he called, and this morning, it woke her with a very painful sting

(Hello everyone, guess who's back, again.)

Slytherin / A secret to tell Max
September 7, 2004, 09:09:22 AM
Kiara sat in the common room, her whole being a bit distracted, she had been waiting for Max to come in and each time the porthole opened, she'd jump slightly.  She had to tell Max something and it couldn't wait, she only hoped that like her, he would except her news with an open heart.*

Harry Potter Fan Fiction / THE END IS THE KEY
September 3, 2004, 08:24:13 PM
INTRO

Kiara's immortality lost, and her powers seemingly to be going as well.  The deal with the Devil Max had made to gain her back had lost her all she knew.  Every time he tried to apologize however, Kiara would come back with the same answer.

"You had no other choice, and I would much rather be here, a Muggle, then be at the Devils' side, killing my world."

Although, with each passing day, a little more of her died and as a part of her died, so did the earth.  They had figured they would have a lifetime to get Kiara back to normal again, they were wrong.  The Devil did not just take her immortality but was also draining her powers, slowly, but steadily.  She imagined she'd probably have just a few more months before she was totally without power.

So, she had taken to thinking a lot, up at the top of her mountain, alone, she would not allow Max to join her for she didn't want him to see her crying for her earth, not for herself, she cared not what she was, but as she looked out over her forest, the very one she had saved from both the Muggles and from the lava that threatened it, she felt it crying out in pain as her powers to sustain it, drained away as well.
