((Closed until Aiden joins.))
Stacey took a deep breath, her eyes closed and her legs crossed. She sat at the edge of the lake, facing the water. The air around her was cool and dark, hinted with salt by the deep water. A slight breeze blew her hair over her shoulder.
I can`t believe I`m seventeen. Stacey thought. In about four months she would be married to Aiden. She couldn`t resist opening her eyes to peek at the glittering diamond on her left hand. She sighed happily and moved her legs to hug her knees. The chilly air was calm except for the slight breeze, but it was comfortable and peacefull.
Aiden suddenly appeared from the dark forest. He had returned from a quiet, slow walk from in the forest, and now he looked at the beach. He scanned the shore, and saw Stacey sitting on the beach. Aiden slowly walked over. He quietly sat beside her, and took her hand before she could realize he was there. "Hello love." He whispered with a smile.
Stacey turned her head, and upon seeing Aiden a large smile crossed her face and her eyes immediatly lightened. "Hello." She whispered back, gently squeezing his fingers. The wind blew the rest of her hair off of her shoulder. Her eyes sparkled as she took in the sight of her fiance.
Aiden looked at the water, and examined the waves. He sighed. "Are you ready?" He asked suddenly. The wedding was soon, very soon. It seemed as if the last few years had flew by. Now, he was getting more, and more anxious.
Stacey smiled and nodded. "Yes. I can`t wait until we get married." Her eyes locked with his, hers bright and filled with love.
Aiden's eyes lightened. He squeezed her fingers gently. "Me too. I can hardly wait." He agreed with a large smile. Aiden slowly leaned in closer to her.
Stacey leaned forward slightly and kissed him gently.
Aiden turned himself toward her, and kissed her back softly. He gently layed his hand on her shoulder.
Stacey raised her arm to rest her hand on his jaw as she kissed him back, tilting her head sideways and her body towards her fiance.
Aiden took a breath as he kissed her back. His eyes slowly began to turn a bright color. Almost a light golden shade. He grinned a little.
Stacey smiled, took, and pulled back ever so slightly to kiss him again.
Aiden kissed her back. He squeezed her fingers softly as his eyes continued to glow.
Still while kissing him, she turned his hand over and ran her warm fingers over his palm.
Aiden smiled a little as he kissed her. He flexed his fingers as Stacey ran her fingers gently over his own palm.
Stacey smiled and gently squeezed his fingers before running her fingers up his fore arm.
Aiden moved his other arm so he could put his hand under her chin as he kissed her softly.
Stacey sighed sofly into their kiss and twisted her hand with his.
Aiden slowly rubbed his thumb over the back of her palm gently. His eyes still glowed now.b]
Stacey smiled again and her eyes flashed a rainbow of colors behind her closed eyelids. She parted her lips slightly.
Aiden too parted his lips. He squeezed her fingers that were in his hands. He smiled a little.
Stacey lifted her free hand to Aiden`s shoulder, her eyes sparking feircly behing her lids.
Aiden kissed her back. He moved his hand back under her chin, and leaned back an inch so he could speak, "I can't wait to marry you Stacey Black."
Stacey gave Aiden a large grin. "You don`t know how much I want to marry you." She replied sweetly.
Aiden flashed Stacey a brilliant smile. "I think I have an idea." He said as he rubbed his thumb over the back of her hand.
Stacey leaned forward to kiss Aiden, then pulled away slightly. "And I`ll be Stacey Black-Gray." She mused.
Aiden tilted his head to the side, and smiled as she kissed him. He looked into her eyes. "You want to hyphenate your last name?" He asked curiously.
Stacey wrinkled her eyebrows together. "He*l no, I want to be all yours. But when someone says my maiden name with your name, that`s how it will sound." She explained; she definatly didn`t want to hyphenate her last name. She was getting married to Aiden Gray, and she wanted everyone to know it.
Aiden nodded at what she said. Even if she wanted to hyphenate her last name he wouldn't mind, he wanted her to be happy. "Stacey Gray. Hmm, I like that. It has a ring to it." He pointed out with a smile.
Stacey smiled. "Something kind of off-topic, but Aiden Black sounds funny." She said with a rediculous grin, then she her smile turned kinder. "And I think Stacey Gray sounds wonderful." She insisted.
Aiden smiled at the sound of his name. "I think so too." He said, answering both. He gently squeezed her fingers. Aiden sat there for a moment, and began to think. "Do you really think your parents like me?" He asked suddenly.
Stacey hesitated slightly. "My dad thinks you`re great, really great. My mom... is happy that I found someone as nice as you, but she`d prefer it if I were with a Muggle." he answered slowly, holding onto his hand tightly as carefully watching his expression.
Aiden nodded, still thinking. "A muggle? Why is that?" He asked curiously.
Stacey took a deep breath. "Well, as you know, my mom is a Muggle, and she doesn`t really aprove of magic that much, but she`ll just have to deal with it because I`m not going to give you up any time soon." She said honestly.
Aiden looked into his fiance's eyes. His own eyes glowed. "I would never want to give you up either. Thank you for fighting against your parent's wishes for me." He whispered quietly.
A lare smile slowly spread across her face. "I would do it for you any time in the world. I don`t care what anyone says about us; you are mine ad I am yours." Stacey repiled, her eyes burning with truth and love.
Aiden didn't know what to say. His eyes glowed with so admiration, and happiness. This was his happy ending. Without saying another word he slowly leaned in, and kissed her.
Stacey slowly draped her arms around is neck, pulling herself closer to him. This was such a perfect moment, she wanted it to last forever. The moolight shone on her back and the stars twinkled above them, making the moment more romantic and special.
He pulled Stacey closer to him, making the kiss more passionate. Aiden held his fiance's hand, and squeezed her fingers. The moon's light shone onto the beach, illuminating both of them.
Stacey smiled and leaned into him. She parted her lips slightly and her eyes flickered as bright as the moon ehind her closed eyelids.
Aiden copied her, and parted his lips as well. His eyes were a light golden color now. He took in a deep breath, and kept his eyes closed as they continued into their kiss.
Stacey brushed her fingers through his hair and sighed into his lips. She shifted her body slightly so she wasn`t leanign on him as much.
((lol I like your signature))
Aiden leaned forward a little more incase she was uncomfortable. He gripped Stacey closer to him, and put his hand on her shoulder.
(( ;D I thought it seemed apropriate and it`s also a subtle reminder of some of the best books in the world.))
Stacey gasped for breath, but continued the kiss, not willing it to stop. She leaned into him again.
(lol Twilight XD)
Aiden kissed her back more softer now. This moment seemed perfect, right. He closed his eyes again as they shown bright.
((I know! Just this past week I reread the whole series. I can`t wait until Midnight Sun comes out.))
Stacey used one of her hands to brush some of his hair from his eyes. Everything right then just felt... right. Like things were supposed to be that way, which in Stacey`s mind, they were. She belonged with Aiden.
(Me either. Do you know when it does?)
Aiden sighed quietly. Nothing seemed more important than this moment right now, to have Stacey in his arms. His whole life revolved around her, and that's all that mattered to him.
((No, I wish I did, though. I hope she writes all of the books from Edward`s perspective then does a book with Renesmee.))
Stacey pulled away ever so slightly, her top lips stil touching his. She was breathing faster than normal and she squeezed his hand tightly.
(Yeah I agree. I like Renesmee.)
He looked at Stacey his heart accelerating fast. Aiden leaned back ever so slightly so he could speak. "Are you alright?" He asked quietly.
Stacey smiled. "Right now, I`m perfect." She replied softly.
Aiden smiled also. He wondered if she noticed his unusually fast heartbeat. He leaned forward to kiss her jawline. "Me too." Aiden told her quietly.
Stacey`s eyes flickered to the exact shade of the moon and she closed her eyes slowly.
Aiden moved to kiss her on the lips now. He noticed that Stacey's eyes were the shade of the moon. A beautiful blue silver. He hadn't noticed his own eyes were bright.
Stacey kissed Aiden again, softer than ever. She kept her eyes closed and tilted her head slightly.
Aiden moved the hand that was on Stacey's shoulder to the back of the neck. He leaned in a little closer to make the kiss more passionate.
Stacey looped on arm around his neck again and pulle herself closer. She parted her lips again, sighing softly.
Aiden parted his lips. He wasn't as restrained as before. Aiden took in a deep breath, and closed his eyes softly.
Stacey felt Aiden`s warm breath in her mouth and ran her cool fingers over his cheek.
Aiden kissed her back. His heart accelerated again under her cool touch against the hot skin in his cheeks.
Stacey pulled herself as close as she could to him, her body pressed to his. She pulled back relectantly to breathe.
Aiden smiled as she pulled back. He chuckled light out of amusement. He leaned back in, and kissed Stacey on the cheek softly.
Stacey smiled as Aiden kissed her cheeks. She titled her head to look up at the bright moon.
Aiden followed her gaze to the bright blue and silver moon as it was high in the dark sky. He sighed quietly.
Stacey turned ehr head to look at Aiden again. "Three months." She whispered. "Three months and we will be pledged together for the rest of our lives."
He looked to her when she spoke quietly. "I can't wait until that day." Aiden whispered back, "I don't think I've ever wanted something so much in my life."
She smiled. "The hardest part will probably be not being able to see you the night before and that day until it`s time." She complained.
Aiden shrugged his shoulders, and looked at her. "You're right. I don't think I could handle it. I might have to sneak over to see you." He said smiling.
Stacey smiled again. "I don`t think that`ll work; Leah will be with me, making sure I don`t do anything." She pretended to pout.
Aiden didn't let his smile fall. He had a feeling someone would be watching her. He played with the ends of her hair absentmindedly. "Thats too bad. I was hoping I could see you."
Stacey grinned evily. "Of course, Leah couldn`t do too much with my mom there, she is a Muggle after all." She played.
Aiden tilted his head to the side, and shook his head dissapointed. "Well, I honestly can't wait to see you in your dress." He told her.
Stacey laughed. "Well, that`s one thing you can`t see until I come walking down that isle." She said tapping his nose lightly.
Aiden shrugged his shoulders, and pretended to pout. He puckered his bottom lip out as part of the act. "Thats a shame. I suppose I could wait three more months."
Stacey laughed again. "Well, to make it fair, you won`t let me see what you`re wearing." She said, turning her own face into a pout.
Aiden laughed. "It's a deal. Even though I'm not too fond of you seeing me in a monkey suit." He said, referring to his suit.
Stacey giggled. "I`m sure you`ll look extrmemly handsom." She assured.
Aiden smiled lightly. "And I'm sure you'll look beautiful in your dress." He told her.
Stacey rolled her eyes and leaned back onto the cool grass with a soft sigh. "I can`t wait." She whispered.
Aiden leaned back, and scooted a little closer to his fiance. "Me either." He agreed And I can't wait for the honeymoon either." Aiden added, looking at the lake.
Stacey wrinkled her nose. "Yea, that`s going to be a surprise for me, too. All I know is that it`s near a beach." She complained, although she thought it was nice that he wanted to surprise her.
Aiden nodded, and flipped his black hair out of his eyes. "Yeah. But, don't worry. I know you'll like it." He said, grinning as he thought of the honeymoon.
Stacey smiled and relaxed her nose. "You picked it out, plus it would be out honeymoon, so of course I would like it." She said as if it was obvious.
"Thats true. I just can't wait to spend it with you. Our first days being married." Aiden said still looking at the dark lake. The cold water rippled onto the shore.
Stacey`s gaze wondered up to the bright stars. They were so bright because nothing electrical worked around magic, which meant there wasn`t any other lighting besides fire and candles for hundreds of miles.
Aiden followed Stacey's gaze. He took in a deep breath of the good smelling fresh air. The moon reflected off the dark lake, making it shine.
Stacey slowly rolled onto her side so she was facing him. "What do you think of when you think about your future?" She asked softly.
Aiden looked at Stacey, his eyes shining. "I used to never think of the future. Because I didn't have the slightest idea of what it would be like. But now I think of you." He answered.
Stacey smiled. "It`s the same for me. I just used to think about getting through the day, now I think about forever." Her smile faltered. "And you don`t need to worry about Niles." She said acidly.
Aiden nodded. "Yeah. Hopefully he doesn't bother you ever again." He muttered quietly. His eyes flashed a darker shade for half a moment.
"He won`t." Stacey replied coldly. She didn`t understand what Niles had been thinking; to just leave for four years and then come back and expect everyhing to be the same. "But I have you, and you`re much more than he ever was."
Aiden smiled a little. "I'll make sure he doesn't. But you're definatly better than anyone I have ever known." He replied.
Stacey ran her cool fingers over his cheek. "You`re too good for me." She whispered.
Aiden looked at her, and shook his head. "I'd have to disagree with that." He whispered back.
"You always do." She replied. She started to run her fingers through his hair.
Aiden grinned lightly as he felt Stacey run her fingers through his hair. He flipped it out of his eyes.
Stacey smiled and twisted her fingers around a chick of his hair.
Aiden laughed quietly. He had to move his hair out of his eyes again so he could see. He looked at her and grinned.
Stacey laughed, too, and smiled down at her fiance. "Dork." She mumrmured.
Aiden laughed again, and looked up at her. "So....." He said defensively.
Stacey pushed his hair into his eyes and sat up with a giggle. "So nothin`." She replied.
Aiden blew the hair out of his eyes. "Look who's talking." He teased.
Stacey smiled smugly. "But I already know I`m weird." She pouted.
Aiden hugged her closer to him. "You're perfect to me." He told her, smiling.
Stacey sighed into his chest. "I love you." She whispered again.
Aiden leaned down, and kissed her on the top of her head. "I love you." He whispered back.
Stacey smiled and looked up at Aiden. "I love you more." She challenged.
Aiden shook head defensively. "Nope. I definatly do more." He said.
"You don`t know that." She replied, wrinkling her nose.
He then nodded his head. "Yes because no one could love someone as much as I love you." Aiden explained quietly as his eyes glowed with admiration.
Stacey squirmed up in his arms to kiss him quickly. "Well then you don`t have a very good imagination." She teased.
Aiden kissed her back quickly. "Well, actually it's common sense." He told her with a grin.
Stacey kissed him again, slower this time. "Well then you should know that I love you more than I love anything else." She pushed.
Aiden looked at her seriously. "And you know I love you more than anything." He added. Aiden leaned down, and kissed her lightly on the lips.
Stacey smiled and rested her ehad on his chest again once the kiss ended. "You have no idea." She whispered softly.
Aiden smiled sweetly, and rested his hand on her back. "Neither do you." He whispered back.
Stacey wrinkled her nose, but didn`t argue. She gently squeezed his hand before sighing ever so softly.
Aiden smiled with amusement but didn't say anything. He squeezed her hand softly, and chuckled quietly.
Stacey wrinkled her nose more, making her forehead crease. "What are you laughing at?" She pouted.
Aiden shrugged his shoulders. "Nothing. I'm just happy." He replied quietly.
Stacey smiled. "I`m more than happy, but I don`t laugh right after my fiance had done nothing." She complained srcastically.
He made a face. "So...You don't have a fiance that you can laugh at." Aiden teased with a happy smile.
"Oh, you that makes you....?" Her voice trailed off expectantly.
Aiden shook his head briskly. "You tell me." He said.
"Hmmmm." Stacey put a finger to her chin, pretending to think. "Well, I guess that would make you some random guy that I`m going to get married to at Vegas." She teased.
His face brightened up. "Boy, am I lucky!" Aiden said with a smile as he squeezed her fingers playfully. "I really am though."
Stacey smiled then leaned against his chest again. "You don`t know how lucky you make me feel." She whispered, knowing he would probably disagree.
Aiden leaned back so he leaned against the side of the large boulder he sat on. He rested his hand on her shoulder. "Neither do you. I honestly can say I'm the the luckiest man alive."
Stacey pulled herself onto his lap and snuggled against his chest. "And I can hoenstly say I`m the luckiest person in the universe." She whsipered.
Aiden looked at her. "Not as lucky as me." He objected with a grin.
Stacey rolled her eyes but didn`t object again. She knew they could go on for an hour about how they were too good for each other.
Aiden smiled, and shrugged. "I guess it's a tie." He told her.
Stacey didn`t respind, she just picked up his hand and started to play with the fingers on his left hand. His silver ring gleamed in the moonlight.
Aiden watched her look at his hand. He too noticed how their matching rings shined in the light.
Stacey looked at both of their rings. Her own was gold and had a small diamon on it. Aiden`s was just plain silver. Aparently, he had forgotten to buy himself a ring, so Stacey suggested using the one he already had.
"You know, we could get you a real wedding ring." She suggested.
Aiden tilted his head to the side. "Wouldn't that be after the wedding though?" He asked. Since this was his first time getting married, he wasn't exactly sure about the details of it all.
Stacey laughed. "Wow, you really have no experience with this kind of thing... Normally, the rings would be almost identical, except the femal`s would have a bigger diamond and the male`s would have very little if any at all decoration on it. Since you only bought me a ring, and we used this silver one," She twirled his ring around, "I could get you a real ring, if you like."
She looked up to meet his eyes. "It`s all up to you."
Aiden stood still as he thought for a few moments. "You know, I do really like this ring." He replied as he looked down at the ring he wore. "It brings me alot of good memories. So, I think this one is fine." Aiden looked up at Stacey, and smiled lightly.
Stacey smiled and picked up his left hand gently. She kissed his ring softly. "That`s perfectly sweet of you."
Aiden's eyes got slightly lighter. "Anything for you love." He said, looking at Stacey.
Stacey leaned forward and kissed him slowly. She pulled away a fraction of an inch to speak. "I would do anything for you, you know that right?" She asked, her eyes serious.
Aiden started to grin again. "I do believe that. I know that we're perfect for each other." He said quietly.
Stacey smiled, her eyes sparkling an almost reflective brilliant blue. "I love you."
Aiden looked into her eyes seriously. "I love you too." He whispered back sincerely, his own eyes glowing with much affection.
Stacey`s smile turned brighteningly sweet. "I love you too much for my own good." She teased.
He raised an eyebrow as he smiled playfully. "For you own good, eh? What are you trying to say?" Aiden teased back lightly.
"Oh," Stacey sighed. "One, I would much rather stay up with you than sleep, so I`m loosing sleep. Two, I`d much rather watch you than do homework, or eat in fact. So I`m probably not eating as much as I should..." Her voice trailed off, as f she could say more.
Aiden looked at her seriously for a long moment. He rested his hand on her shoulder. "What? Stacey....listen. Don't do that to yourself. Please." He told her with a hard edge in his tone.
Stacey laughed cheerily and leaned forward to put her arms over his shoulders. "I`m fine, Aiden. I`m just saying that I would much rather stay here with you than every have to move again." She said softly.
Aiden continued to look into Stacey's eyes seriously. "I know but I'm only asking you to take care of yourself. Don't worry about me. We will be together.
Stacey smiled. "I know, but I`m just sayin` that I love you more than you think." She moved her arms so she was hugging him with her arms around his waist.
Aiden kept Stacey close to him in a hug. "I know." He whispered. He picked her up off the ground as he hugged her.
Stacey straightened her head so she could look into his eyes. "Do you wanna go for a swim?" She asked, jerking her head towards the Lake behind them.
Aiden looked past her to look at the lake. He gently put her back on the ground, and took her hand. "Sure." He agreed as he walked towards that direction.
Stacey smiled and walked after him. She pulled off her sweater to reveal a black tank top. "Come on." She said, running past him and diving into the cold water.
Aiden walked closer to the water. He took off his shirt and shoes. Aiden then turned around to get a running start into the cold water. As soon as he hit it felt like landing on a freezing peice of ice. However, he was used to the cold.
Aiden stayed under that water for a few moments only to come back up to get a deep breath. "Its not too cold for you is it?" He asked Stacey as he swam towards her.
Stacey laughed and swam backwards. As she did so the water began to bubble around her. "One who controls fire is never too cold." She said, her tone making her statement sound very obvious.
Aiden tilted his head to one side, and grinned. "I suppose you're right." He agreed. In fact, he was never cold either. It skin was always felt unusually hot to others. Aiden dunked his head under the dark water again after taking another deep breath.
Stacey slowly drifted underwater, her hair floating around her. Her eyes sparked an aquatic blue as she weaved through the ropes of seaweed. She went up to the surface to take a breath. "The water`s nice, isn`t it?" She asked Aiden, smiling.
Aiden broke through the surface of the water again to take another breath. He grinned at her. "It really is. The nice weather has made it the perfect temperature." Aiden noted aloud. His took his hand, and ran it through his hair to keep the water from dripping in his eyes.
Stacey smiled and sank below the surface again. She swan towards Aiden, her body moving gracefully through the water as if she were a part of it herself.
Aiden stood still for a moment to watch Stacey swim. She was a much better swimmer than he had thought. Aiden layed on his back for a few moments before disappearing under the water again.
Stacey swam up behind Aiden and pulled a lock of his hair playfully before swimming away quickly.
Aiden laughed silently under the water. He quickly swam after Stacey playfully.
Stacey swam away quickly. She surfaced about ten feet from where he was. "Come on, I know you can swim better than that!" She yelled.
Aiden looked out to where she was, and took a deep breath before going back under the water once more. He now was swimming much faster towards her. He was actually a good swimmer.
Stacey smiled and swam away quickly, going out to deeped water. Her feet could no longer toch the bottom of the lake, the only thing her feet felt were the tickling edges of seaweed.
Aiden followed after her quickly, getting closer and closer until a sudden thought had come into mind. The murepeople! Aiden looked around for Stacey quickly, and tried to swim after her even faster than before. He had no way to warn her from under the water so the only choise he had was to swim.
((Merpeople. ;) ))
Stacey turned to smiled at Aiden, who was still about fifteen feet from her. Her roled over so she was swimming backwards. She didn`t see the slimy figure that came up behind her.
((Dun dun duuun!))
((Thanks. I didn't know how it was spelled. =p ))
Stacey may not have seen the figure that was behind her but Aiden had. He quickly took out his wand that was in his pocket, and pointed it at the figure. Aiden swam even faster than before so he could get a better aim at the creature.
((Anytime. It`s just a curse that I have for reading as much as I do. Increased vocabulary and spelling skills. =P ))
Stacey then saw the look on Aiden`s face. He was closer now, but she turned around. A large air bubble escaped her mouth as she pushed her hands toward the creature. Fire exploded from her palms in waves, diluted by the water.
Aiden was now in a close enough range to in the creature. He pointed his wand at the creature, and murmured a spell under the water. Instantly a bright light hit the creature, and it fell deeper into the dark water below.
Stacey watched the creature for a moment, then pulled Aiden upward to the surface. She broke the water, gasping. "Thank... you." She said after he had surfaced, too. She pushed her hair out of her face, revealing her brown eyes. "That thing would have probably dragged me down."
Aiden coughed out some water that was in his lungs. He shook his head and mumbled, "Don't.....mention...it." He said. He began to swim towards the shore slowly.
Stacey was close behind Aiden, but her stroakes were longer, so she caught up with him easily. It seems like every time I come out here I get attacked." She said crossly.
Aiden finally managed to get to the shore. He sat layed down on his back, and layed one of his hands on his stomache, his sides heaving. "I know. Its...like danger is attracted to you." Aiden pointed out between breaths.
Stacey flopped down besides Aiden, breathing heavily. "Ya know, it`s not exactly my fault." She replied, unconcsiously rubbing her right wrist.
Aiden glanced to the side to see her rubbing her wrist. "Are you okay?" He asked quietly.
"Hmm?" Stacey asked, lost in thought. "What, yeah, I`m fine. Why would I--" Then she felt her own fingers against her skin. "Oh," She said, looking to her arm. "Yes. I am fine. Just some irritability with the aftermath of a spell." She said grimly.
When Stacey had first met Aiden, she had been kidnapped from Lavy`s husband Neo. He had put a magic bracelet on to keep her powers from her.
Aiden looked at her seriously. He sat up even though his muscles and limbs protested it. He winced at the soreness.
Oh, I'm sorry Stacey. I didn't mean for it to hit you." He apologized quickly, crawling over to her.
Stacey sat up, too, even though her arms were a little sore. "You didn`t hit me, not even close. It`s something that happened years ago." She assured.
Aiden looked at her wrist, and stopped. He sat down where he was. "What happened?" He asked with an exausted edge to his tone of voice. Aiden reached for her uninjured hand slowly.
Stacey sighed. This would be another story about the danger that surrounded one with great powers.
"I was here at the school. I got kidnapped by Neo, Lavy`s husband. He took me to a dungeon and snapped this band around my wrist that sucked out all of my powers. I attacked my guard. Ginny came and saved me." She said quickly, purposely not being descriptive.
Aiden stared at Stacey for a long while before looking at the ground. His face was even paler now that before. "Why didn't you tell me this?" He asked desperatly.
Stacey shrugged and looked down at the grass guilitly. "I don`t know. It never came up, and I was fine afterwards. We had just met, so we didn`t really know each other very well." She glanced back up at him. "It doesn`t hurt now, or anything, it just feels weird sometimes."
Aiden looked at Stacey and frowned. "I guess that makes sense. I wish you could've told me earlier..." He said as he shrugged his shoulders.
"I`m sorry." Stacey apologized. "I just never thought to tell you. I mean, it doesn`t change anything except sometimes I rub my wrist." She explained quickly.
Aiden took his other hand, and grabbed her wrist gently. He didn't really know what to say so he leaned forward, and kissed her hand softly.
Stacey sighed softly as Aiden kissed her palm. She covered his hand with her. "I love you. Don`t worry about me, I`ll still be here to meet you at the end of the isle." She teased.
Aiden tried to smile slowly. "I can't wait until then." He whispered quietly.
Stacey wrinkled her nose. "Smile." She said, giving him a look. Before he could smile, however, she leaned forward and kissed him quickly.
Aiden looked at Stacey, and kissed her back slowly. He smiled more easily this time.
Stacey felt a grin stretch across her face as he smiled. She returned the kiss softly and slowly.
Aiden put one hand under Stacey's chin as she kissed him. He was still extremely exausted but this however helped him lift his spirit.
Stacey pulled away slightly to cover a laugh with a cough, but she smiled and kissed him again.
Aiden kissed her back again but relunctantly pulled away too soon. "You okay?" He asked suddenly.
Stacey let out the laugh that she had held in. "I`m perfectly fine." She assured, falling back into the grass. She was getting a little chilly with her wet clothes, so she made a warm breeze come over them.
Aiden felt the sudden warm breeze. However, with his naturally warm body temperature he hadn't been cold. Aiden ran his hand through his hair to dry it out.
Stacey sat up and the breeze billowed through her long hair. Soon her hair and her clothes were dry and she fell back into the thick grass with a sigh.
Aiden stood up, and grabbed his shirt from the tree he sat it on. He put it back on, and layed down beside Stacey. He had had enough drama for the day that was sure.
Stacey let out a single laugh as she heard his thoughts. "So said it." She teased, even though he hadn`t said anything.
Aiden turned back towards Stacey. He usually all too forgot that Stacey could read his thoughts. "Yeah..." He agreed with an exausted tone.
Stacey gave a tired smile. "I can`t read them all of the time, just when I`m near someone who can. Since there is an unbelievabling annoying amount of energy coming from the school and in Hogsmead, andywehre around here and you are subject to my evil plans. Muahahaah!" She said with and evil grin.
Aiden smiled slowly even though he was tired. "Oh, please don't hurt me." He said, putting his two index fingers up in a shape of a cross.
Stacey returned the smile, then covered his hands with her own. "Rest. You`re warn out." What she said was more than obvious.
Aiden looked up at the sky. "I'm fine." He mumbled. "You should rest. You've had quite a day." He pointed out as he held her hand.
Stacey rolled her eyes. "Honestly, I`m not nearly as fragile as you think I am." She assured.
Aiden looked at Stacey. "Well, what should we do since either of us are tired...or fragile for that matter." He pointed out with a grin.
Stacey smiled. "I dunno. What do you think we should do?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.
Aiden frowned. He hated picking. "I don't know. I think we've done mosts of the things we can do at Hogwarts." He said, his frown turning into a light smile.
Stacey`s smile widened as he smiled, too. "What?" She asked, a twinkle in her eye.
Aiden shook his head. "Nothing." He replied simply. He squeezed her hand lightly.
"What? Tell me!" She begged, sitting up slightly.
Aiden burst into laughter. "Theres nothing to tell." He said, finding it funny that she jumped to conclusions that something was up. "What makes you think somethings going on?" He asked, amused.
Stacey wrinkled her nose and fell onto her back again. "I don`t always thin soemthing`s up. It`s just the way you smile. It makes me think that you`re thinking something. Soemthing I want to know." Her head was turned towards Aiden and she was smiling, her eyes a brillinat blue.
Aiden continued to smile, but then closed his lips together. "I'll make sure I don't smile then." He teased her.
"No!" Stacey smiled. "Smile! You have to smile." She begged teasingly.
Aiden shook his head slowly. "Nope." He rejected, making a popping sound on the P.
"Smile! Please?" She begged. But before he could protest, she leaned over and pressed her lips to his softly.
Aiden finally smiled. Whenever she kissed him his entire body feels lighter and his whole face brightens up. It wasn't something he could control. "You win." Aiden said, giving in. He leaned forward to kiss her again.
Stacey grinned and also leaned forward to kiss him again. She lifted her hand to the back of his neck, the other was still wrapped around his.
Aiden put his arm around Stacey's elbow and pulled her closer to him, making the kiss more passionate. His eyes began to turn to a lighter shade as they always did.
Stacey`s eyes flickered bright, neon colors. She pulled herself closer to Aiden and pulled back slightly to catch her breath, then she kissed him again passionatly.
Aiden too leaned back to catch his breath. He moved to kiss Stacey on her jawline and her neck.
Stacey let out a soft sigh and gently squeezed his hand. She smiled brightly, her eyes flickering faster.
Aiden went back to her jawline until his lips eventually found hers. He kissed her more softly this time.
Stacey kissed him again softly and her lips parted slightly. She untanlged her fingers from his and ran them down his arm lightly. "Aiden." she mumbled softly, pulling away slowly. Her eyes were electric green, sharp and shocking.
Aiden leaned back quickly. He looked at her a little suprised, he wondered if had done something wrong. "What?"
Stacey smiled brightly. Her white teeth shone in the darkness of the night and the light of the moon. "You`ve never kissed me like that before." She said, still smiling.
"Oh." He said, leaning back. he scratched the back of his neck. "Sorry. You didn't like it?"
Stacey grinned and leaned forward as he leaned back. "I never said I didn`t like it." She smiled. "I guess you caught me off guard a little." Her eyes spakled emerald green.
Aiden watched her lean forward so he stopped leaning back. He took her hand again, and raised an eyebrow. "And why is that?" He inquired.
Stacey smiled. "Well, you`ve never kissed me like that before." She looked down and took his other hand.
Aiden smiled lightly, and kissed the palm of Stacey's hand. He shrugged his shoulders. "I didn't really think about it." He pointed out.
Stacey smiled and leaned forward slightly, kissing him gently. She gently squeezed his hand, then pulled away. "Well, who said you had to think?" She whispered.
Aiden smiled, and leaned back for he could speak. "Hmm well I could try without thinking again." He said, raising an eyebrow.
Stacey grinned and leaned forward again; she spoke quickly as she did so. "You could..." She mumbled before kissing him again.
Aiden grinned again before leaning in, and kissing her once more. He carressed one hand on the side of Stacey's face then moved it the back of her neck. He squeezed her fingers gently as he kissed her softly.
Stacey gave a small smile, and moved her free hand to his neck. She scooted closer to him as she did so.
Aiden too scooted her closer to him by pulling her elbow and softly pulling her to him as he had did earlier. He kissed Stacey on the lips gently before kissing her jawline and then moved back to her lips.
Stacey smiled. She was now sitting close to him and leaning forward. She untangled her hand from his and moved her arms around her neck.
Aiden leaned back some as she leaned forward to him. As an attempt to make himself more comfortable. He parted his lips, and kissed her not as softly as before but still gentle. He put one hand on Stacey's side, the other stayed on the back of her neck.
Stacey`s eyes flashed bright colors behind her closed eyelids. She took in a sharp breath as Aiden leaned back. She, too, parted her lips. The kiss wasn`t so careful anymore, but she hardly noticed. She leaned forward on her knees.
Stacey was still leaning forward so he still leaned back some more. Aiden kept his eyes closed, and moved his hand to the mid of her back. His eyes were changing fast to a bright golden color, but they couldn't be seen while his eyes were closed.
Since Aiden kept leaning back and Stacey kept leaning forward, they both fell to the ground. Stacey smiled, still kissing her fiance.
Aiden couldn't help but let out a quiet chuckle. However, he didn't stop kissing her. He didn't want to be the one to break the kiss. Aiden kissed Stacey gently as the layed on the ground.
((Are they on the beach?))
((Between the water and the trees.))
Stacey smiled with Aiden, gently running her cool fingers over his arms. She din`t want to break the kiss, either, and she didn`t.
((Mmkay.))
Aiden felt his cool fingers run over his hot skin on his arms. He continued to smile as he kissed her back. He leaned over on his side.
Stacey felt the cool grass against one of her arms. She smiled. She probably needed to take a breath, but she didn`t want to break the kiss.
Aiden figured Stacey probably needed a second to breathe, so he leaned back a little bit, his face still close to hers. He flashed her large smile, finally opening his eyes.
Stacey felt Aiden pull away and she opened her eyes, breathing heavily. Her eyes were brilliant green, brighter than the green of new leaves in spring.
Aiden raised an eyebrow. His eyes were a magnificent gold color. "You okay?" He asked quietly, noticing her heavy breathing.
The smiled that Stacey flashed was magnificent. "I`ve never been better." She grinned.
Aiden lied down on his back, and sighed quietly. He layed on hand on his stomache, and the other was playing with a strand of her hair. He had an amused grin. "Your breathing awfully heavy Stacey." He commented.
Stacey`s breathing slowed, and she layed on her side beside him. "I am not." Her breathing had, in fact, returned to normal. She didn`t move any direction that would pull the hair from his hands.
Aiden turned on his side that he was facing Stacey. He continued to play with her hair absentmidedly, his breathing a little heavy. He smiled at her before he spoke, "So...do you like me when I'm kissing while thinking about it, or without?"
Stacey pretended to think for a moment. "Hm, I think without." She grinned, flashing her white teeth. The moonlight was bright and high in the nighttime sky. It was late, and she didn`t care.
Aiden smiled at her again, his teeth bright against the night darkness. "I would have to agree..." He commented. He began to make random sketches in the sand.
Stacey smiled and layed down so her head rested on his shoulder. She look up at the bright moon. It seemed impossible that the sun could be brihgter than that, but of course it was.
Aiden put his arm around Stacey, and pulled her closer to himself so that she was basically hugging him as they layed down. He tilted his head to the side, his breathing returning to normal.
Stacey tilted her head up to Aiden. "You know, someday, I hope we can sit like this, just staring up at the stars and the moon together." She said softly. The night was still, as if it were holding its breath.
Aiden glanced down at Stacey, looking at her face even though it was dark. "Can't we do that now?" He asked, confused.
"Yes," Stacey replied, "but I hope that when we`re older we`ll still have time to do this." She closed her eyes and leaned her head into his shoulder.
Aiden glanced back down at her. He kissed the top of her head. He moved his hand, and layed it on her side. "Why do you think we may not have time?" Aiden asked, still curious.
Stacey srugged, still staring up at the stars. "I don`t know, it just seems like adults are too busy to do anything like this. Anything romantic." Her eyes got a far-away look as she spoke.
That was how it seemed her parents got farther apart. They hardly ever spent time together, and if they did it wasn`t for anything nice.
Aiden noticed the detached look in her eye, as if she was staring at something far away that wasn't there. "We could always make sure that stay romantic, and remain close." He pointed out.
Stacey snapped back and higged Aiden. "That won`t be too hard to do." She teased, her eyes gleaming.
Aiden shook his head and smiled. "Unless you get so sick of me." He pointed out.
It was Stacey`s turn to shake her head. "That`s never gonna happen." She leaned up so she could stare into his eyes. She could never get over their golden color. He had been the only other person who had color-changing eyes that she knew of. And that was only one of the many things that amazed her about him.
"Trust me. No one in their right mind could ever get bored of you." She smiled, leaned closer to him.
Aiden blinked a few times as Stacey leaned in closer to him. He grinned a little. "You don't know how amazing you are." He whispered, tilting his head to one side. He leaned his body closer to hers.
Stacey smiled again. "I`m not amazing, I`m dazzling." She flashed her white her teeth, then leaned forward to kiss Aiden softly.
Aiden smiled. Before he had time to say anything he was already kissed Stacey gently. He moved his hand to rest two fingers under her chin.
Stacey smiled and gently took his hand away from her chin and held it in both of her hands. They were warmer than her own, slightly, but she didn`t mind.
Aiden held her hands in his own gently. He closed his eyes as he kissed her back gently.
Stacey grinned and deepened the kiss. She gently squeezed his hands, then ran her fingers over his palms.
((Where are they?))
He gently pulled her closer to him, and he moved one hand to her side. His eyes brightened again.
((Near the water and the trees.))
Stacey pulled herself towards Aiden until she was pressed against him. She pulled away slightly, and when she spoke her lips brushed against his. "I love you, my moon." She whispered.
Aiden sighed softly and replied, "As I love you." He whispered quietly. He opened his eyes and they shined brightly.
Stacey also opened her eyes, her eyelashes brushing Aiden`s cheek. She leaned forward again, closing her eyes, and pressed her lips against his. This kiss wasn`t as soft, not as careful.
Aiden kissed her back. He noticed that she wasn't as careful as before and he kissed her back the same way. He still held her hands in his own. He moved her hands to the back of his neck and moved his other hand to caress around the side of Stacey's face.
Stacey`s eyes flashed bright neon colors behind her closed lids. Tonight had marked an unsaid milestone, at least, that`s how it felt to her. She ddin`t know what caused it, but if felt more natural now. She lifted her arms carefully around his neck and parted her lips.
Aiden turned his body so that he was closer to Stacey, it was kind of hard since they were on the ground. He parted his lips as well, and his eyes flashed an even lighter color.
Stacey smiled and ran her fingers into Aiden`s hair, then pulling them down slowly. He had soft hair for a guy. She pulled away to take a breath, but kissed him again.
Aiden turned his head to kiss Stacey on her jawline and to her neck. He moved his hand toward the back of her neck, through her hair.
Stacey breathed deeply as she felt Aiden`s lips along her jaw then her neck. She tilted her head back instinctively.
He kissed her back to her jawline until Aiden's lips found hers again. He parted his lips once more, and moved the hand that was on her neck to hold one of Stacey's hands.
Stacey felt Aiden`s fingers against hers and she gently squeezed them. She parted her lips and kissed him softly. Her eyes fluttered a light blue.
Aiden kissed her back, even less carefully this time. His whole entire body felt lighter, almost as if he was floating.
Stacey felt her hand raise to Aiden`s cheek and felt her fingers run down his cheek. She took a deep breath and pulled herself closer to Aiden.
Aiden leaned back for a few moments so that he could take a few seconds to breathe. He kissed her back now, softer than before incase she wanted to stop.
Stacey returned the kiss then pulled away, squeezing his hand again. "I definatly like it better when you don`t think." She smiled. Her eyes were bright green, electric green.
Aiden very slowly opened his eyes to reveal bright golden eyes. "I believe I do too." He agreed, flashing her a bright smile.
Stacey grinned and ran the tip of her finger over the edge of his bottom lip. The moon and stars were fading slowly, not something most people would notice. But Stacey, loving the nigthtime sky, had learned more about it than most. It would be light soon.
She sighed softly. "Tonight. Tomorrow night. Every night, my last thought will be of you. You know that?" She asked.
Aiden smiled softly, and kissed her finger. "I know. And you know that you're always on my mind too?" He asked, his eyes still glowing brightly. He turned over on his back again so that he was laying beside Stacey.
Stacey smiled and turned her head towards Aiden. The grass was dark, and it looked like it was stained with ink. "Of course." She whsipered.
"It`s late. Or early." She mumbled, glancing up at the sky.
Aiden turned his head slowly to look at Stacey. "Are you wanting to go in?" He asked, his voice quiet. He crossed his arms and put them behind his head.
"Oh, no." She assured quickly. "Just commenting on the fact that it will soom be light out." She shrugged, then moved her head so that her it rested on his shoulder. "We won`t get in trouble. We just got locked outside and no one would let us in. Right?" She asked with a smirk.
Aiden nodded. "Exactly. Besides, I don't want to go in now anyways." He said, smiling wryly. He looked up at the sky.
Stacey grinned and sighed happily. She was perfectly content in Aiden`s arms. She wuldn`t mind it if she never had to move. She loved being close to him, and she hated being away.
"Aiden, you said, no insisted, that you were going to take care of our house. Have you looked into that yet?"
Aiden wrapped his arm around her shoulder, and absentmidedly drew shapes on her arm. "Yeah, I have. I'm trying to save up a little money first. Is there anywhere specific you'd like to live at for sure?"
Stacey shook her head. "I`ll be anywhere as long as it`s with you." She said softly. "And if you want help paying for it, which I know you probably don`t, my parents can help.
Aiden used his free hand to run his fingers through her hair slowly. "Don't worry. Its okay. Besides, I want to do this right." He told her quietly.
Stacey smiled. "You are doing it right, Aiden. When will you see that?" She asked softly.
Aiden shrugged. "I guess. I just don't want to mess up on anything..." He told her quietly, biting his lip.
Stacey raised her head to meet Aiden`s eyes. "You`re not going to mess anything up, my moon. I have complete confidence in you."
Aiden grinned a little. "Thank you love." He said. He leaned forward to kiss her forehead. His heart was still beating fast.
Stacey`s breathing had finally slowed, and she closed her eyes. "Any time." She mumbled, opening her eyes again.
Aiden still ran his fingers through her hair slowly. He tilted his head to the side, and stared at the stars. "I love you, you know that?" He said suddenly.
Stacey smiled. "Yea, I know that." She said quietly. The stars were fading ever so slowly, and the sky was a deep blue instead of black.
Aiden's lips began to curve into a light grin. He noticed the sky was beginning to get lighter. "Thats good." He pointed out with a smile in his voice.
"I love you." She countered quickly. She turned her head up to him, her eyes sparkling brightly.
Aiden looked at her eyes and replied, "I love you too. So much." He kissed her on the lips quickly.
Stacey returned the kiss. "Hey," She said, sitting up quickly. "Let`s get out of here, while everyone`s still asleep." She said with a large grin on her face.
Aiden sat up and stretched his arms. "Where do you want to go?" He asked, noticing her bright smile.
Stacey smiled. "You`ll see." She took both of his hands and closed her eyes. In a short moment, it felt as if the ground had dropped out from below them. Stacey laughed, then moved so it looked like she was standing up.
Their feet hit solid ground in the next moment. Opening her eyes, she grinned broadly.
"I love teleporting." She giggled.
As they stopped teleporting Aiden looked around. He wasn't so used to teleporting so it came as a sudden suprised. "Wow. Where are we?" He asked, still looking around.
Stacey laughed. "London!" She said, turning Aiden around. They were on a hill, but not far away from the city. Laughter and voices could be heard, and she pulled him towards it.
Aiden turned at the city, completely taken by surpise. He hadn't been here in ages! Aiden followed Stacey down to the city. "I didn't know you could teleport us all the way here." He said, shocked.
Stacey shrugged. "I could teleport us to the moon if I knew the land well." She said. They emerged from betweeen two buildings to a large square. People were milling around with smiles on their faces.
Aiden smiled as he looked around the city. He had never been to this part of town but some of the landmarks looked familiar. "Where do you want to go?" He asked, looking at the buildings and the faces.
"Just follow me." Stacey said, pulling him by the hand across the square. They passed many people, and all of them smiling. It was still dark here.
Aiden nodded, and he followed her across the beautiful city. It was almost like culture shock because he had not been here since he was a young kid.
Stacey smiled. They passed a large, beautiful fountain. "Have you ever been here before?" She asked softly. The more people they passed, the closer they became to the other side of the square.
Aiden shook his head slowly. "No, but I used to live here when I was younger. Right outside of town. Never came to this area though. It is quite wondeful." He said, admiring the scenery. Aiden squeezed her fingers gently as they were entwined with his own.
Stacey grinned, still pulling him along. "Today is a holiday for the people here. What they`re celebrating, no one really knows." Her eyes brightened. Soon the came to the other side of the square and a large cart was in front of them.
On the cart there was a blackboard with words written in different colors of chalk. It was written in English and French.
"Ice cream?" A thin guy asked, in both languages, as they came closer to the cart.
Aiden turned towards Stacey, and began to dig into his pocket. "Would you like something?" He asked, the sun reflecting off his eyes.
((There is no sun. It`s nighttime.))
Stacey shook her head. "I brought you here, I`ll get it." she insisted, pulling his hand out of his pocket. "What kind do you want?" She asked, nodding towards the board.
((Oops.))
Aiden raised an eyebrow. He didn't like the idea but he figured there was no point of arguing with this girl. He smiled at that. "Uhh...chocolate." He replied, crossing his arms.
Stacey smiled triumphantly as she nodded to the man. "Two medium chocolates." She said. As the guy turned to get the order, she gently squeezed Aiden`s hand.
Aiden looked at Stacey, and chuckled quietly. "Isn't the guy supposed to pay for the girl?" He inquired, amusement in his tone.
Stacey grinned in reply. "Not when the girl is rolling in gold up to her neck." Her tone made her sound like she was joking, but if you saw the family vault in Gringotts, you would know she wasn`t. The Black family was rich, much more than most people knew because they were also modest and humble.
"Here you go." The man said, holding out the two cones. Stacey grinned and took one of them.
Aiden smiled, and took the icecream cone. "Well, thanks." He said gratefully, taking a bite of it. Aiden held Stacey's hand again and started to walk. "You're amazing, you know that?" He pointed out, not meaning it as a question.
Stacey nodded, licking the edges of her ice cream. "So I`ve been told." She agreed. She led him to a long set of stone stairs and she sat down.
Fireworks were beggining to be set off behind the buildings on the opposite side of the square.
Aiden sat down beside Stacey, and wrapped his arm around her shoulder. "This sure is some place, huh?" He asked, looking around the city streets and into the sky as the fireworks were set off. They looked as if stars were exploding in mid-air.
Stacey nodded again, her mouth full of ice cream. "Yea, I love London. Especially at night. The stars can get really bright here." She looked up, but the stars were darkened by the fireworks.
Aiden grinned brightly and squeezed her fingers gently. "I do too. Its a nice day out too. I wonder what they're celebrating." He replied, looking around at the people in the streets.
((Nighttime.))
Stacey nodded. "Something about an old guy... sending out all of the vampires." She rolled her eyes. "At least that`s what she thinks." She pointed to a lady crossing the square.
Aiden nodded thoughtfully. "Ahh. I don't think I've ever heard of this celebration." He pointed out, looking at the woman that Stacey had mentioned.
Stacey smiled and shrugged. "It`s a French tradition." She said. Her mother was French, so she knew most of their customs as well as their language.
Aiden looked back at Stacey, and rubbed his thumb over her hand gently. "I'm glad you're here with me." He said suddenly.
Stacey grinned. "I`m glad you`re here with me," She repeated. "I have no idea where I would be wihout you."
Aiden flashed her a brilliant smile, his eyes glowing. "I wouldn't be the same person without you." He whispered to her. Another firework exploded in the dark sky, making a reflection in his eyes.
Stacey`s eyes flashed with the fireworks. "I love you." She said, taking a huge bite of her ice cream.
He turned to Stacey now, and continued to grin. "I love you too. So very much. Always have and always will." Aiden told her sincerely.
Stacey grinned, then her eyes twitched to his ice cream cone. "You gonna eat that? I mean, it`s chocolate!" Her voice suggested as if that were a very important fact.
Aiden smiled, and took another large bite off of the ice cream cone. "Mmm chocolate." He said, smiling with amusement.
Stacey rolled her eyes with a smile, then pushed n his shoulder gently. "You`re a dork." She commented.
As Stacey pushed him he pulled her closer to himself. "Yeah..I know." He said with a sigh. "You are too."
Stacet shrugged. "I`ve heard it before, I`ll hear it again." She said with a smirk and biting ff a piece off her cone.
Aiden smiled, and took a bite off his cone. His was almost gone. "But you're my dork." He added.
Staey grinned, chocolate spotting her cheek. "Yeah, that`s right." She said softly.
Aiden nodded, and used his thumb to wipe the chocolate from Stacey's face. "Messy dork." He teased her.
Stacey wrinkled her nose. "Well, you have something right there." She said, motioning in the general direction of his face.
Aiden looked down at his nose. "Where?" He asked, picking up a napkin he was holding.
Stacey gently grabbed Aiden`s chin with her hand and turned his head towards her. She kissed him gently befoer pulling away. "Right there." She grinned.
Aiden smiled widely and his dark eyes instantly shoot to a brighter color as she kissed him. "Did you get it?"
"I got it." Stacey grinned, taking another bite of her cone.
Aiden raised an eyebrow and bent his head so that he could see Stacey's face. "Are you sure...?" He said, his voice quiet and playful.
Stacey wrinkled her brow. "Oh, wait." She said, then leaned forward and kissed him again.
((Sorry, I got to go. I'll be back in about an hour or so though...))
Aiden smiled and leaned forward to kiss her back softly. "Yeah, I think you got it that time." He said as he began to chuckle.
Stacey grinned and finished her ice cream off. She wiped her hands off and wrapped her arms around ehr knees. Fireworks were still being shot off and they were reflected in her eyes.
Aiden, too, finished his ice cream. He held out his hand to offer to throw it away. He looked up at the sky, and watched the fireworks explode into the dark sky.
Stacey handed the paper the had surrounded the cone to Aiden, smiling in thanks. She wrapped her arms around her knees and stared up at the sky.
Aiden threw the cones in the trashcan and turned back to his fiance. "So, where would you like to go now? Unless your fine with sitting here." He asked her.
Stacey shrugged. "This was my plan." She lifted her arm and swept it in an arch over the trashcan where the cones were and the fireworks.
Aiden turned the other way towards the trashcan. "Whats that?"
Stacey laughed. "My plan was to bring you here. The ice cream was a guess." She said, still giggling.
Aiden smiled as she giggled. "You know that I love it when you giggle, right?" He asked her.
Stacey smiled, trying to hide her blushing. Even now he still made her blush with things he said about her. "No. You`ve never told me that." She said with a grin.
Aiden smiled even more as she blushed. He took her hand and squeezed it gently. "Definatly. It's killer adorable. Like everything about you." He commented.
Stacey wrinkled her nose and rested her head on his shoulder. "I love you. And even if you don`t think so, you are amazing." She said, squeezing his hand.
Aiden wrapped one arm around her. "You are too. You knock me off my feet." He said, smiling.
Stacey sighed softly. "Yes, but you don`t seem to think much of yourself. Just because I can do a few tricks doesn`t mean I`m anything special." She argued.
Aiden leaned back and looked down at himself as if he were trying to show something. "Yeah, but look at me. At least you have something to show for. What do I have?" He asked, still smiling.
"You have me." Stacey replied simply. "Besides, my talents come with consequences. You`re free of any burden. That would be good enough for me." She added softly.
Aiden nodded. "True..." He agreed, "Okay. So I'm an ugly guy with an amazing girlfriend. Anything else?" He asked with some teasing in his tone.
"You`re not ugly!" Stacey said, wrapping her arms around Aiden`s neck. "You are so amazing that no one else dares to look at you." She teased. Really, she did thing he was perfectly handsome.
Aiden snorted but continued to smile. "Well, your very amazing. And extremely beautiful." He added, squeezing her hand.
Stacey rolled her eyes. "You`re just saying that because I`m going to be your wife." She teased.
Aiden shook his head. "No way. You really are. But it is awesome that someone so amazing is going to be my wife." He pointed out.
Stacey smiled and squeezed his hand. "I love you." She whispered.
Aiden leaned forward to kiss her quickly. "I love you too." He answered, leaning back.
Stacey kissed Aiden back and then leaned back with a sigh. "We really should be getting back. We`d be in so much trouble if they knew we left. It`s... almost five o`clock there." She said in a disappointed tone.
Aiden looked at the sky. "Five?" He repeated, surprised. "Uh, well that sucks. So, do you have to teleport us back or...do we have to take a train or something?" Aiden asked.
Stacey smiled. "You`ve never teleported before tonight, have you?" She asked, standing up stifly from sitting on the stone ground so long.
Aiden shrugged his shoulders. "Well, I have before...but not quite like this." He replied with a wry smile.
Stacey nodded. "That`s because Apparation and Teleportation are two different things. Only people with elemental abilities can teleport, and they can`t block it like they can Apparation. That`s why I`m able to teleport on the grounds." She explained as she stretched.
Aiden nodded and tilted his head thoughtfully. He took her hand and looked at Stacey. "You're going to have to show me how to do that sometime." He said.
Stacey nodded again. "It`s really easy. You can probably teleport us back, if you felt like it." She said absent-mindedly.
Aiden looked down at his hands. "So, how do I do that exactly?"
Stacey grinned. "Okay, close your eyes." She instructed in a calm tone. "Then think of the place you want to go. When you can see it, make a small flame there. After that, make a flame here. Then just imagine yourself going to the first flame."
Aiden calmed himself down and closed his eyes slowly. He followed Stacey's instructions and a few moments later they appeared in the forbidden forest. He opened his eyes and looked around. "Wow, that was easy." Aiden sighed.
Stacey grinned. "See, it is easy. But only elementalists can use it." She repeated, taking his hand and walking the direction she knew the lake to be.
Aiden grinned at the new powers he had learned. He followed her towards the lake.
Stacey stopped. "Hey, do you want to learn somethign new?" She asked suddenly, her eyes glowing with excitement.
He turned to Stacey and couldn't help but notice her eyes glow with excitement. "Like what?" He asked curiously. He flipped his hair out of his eyes.
Stacey grinned. "Follow me." She led him to the fire-proof clearing they had been to so many times before.
"Here, take this." She said, resting her hand on his arm and closed her eyes. She didn`t mind giving him some of her powers. She had so much, and he had so little. It would make him happy, too.
Aiden looked down at his arm, confused for a moment until he realized what she was doing. Before he had time to reject he felt this weird sensation. Aiden stayed very still until it was over.
Soon, Stacey smiled and stepped back. "And don`t you dare object. I have more than enough power for myself." She said in a matter-of-fact tone. She blinked quickly a few times to clear her vision.
"Now, let`s see what you can do." Sh challenged.
Aiden shook his head to clear his mind. After a few moments Aiden walked back to the other side of the clearing and lifted his hands. "Do anything?" He asked.
Stacey shrugged. "Anything with fire. Lightening. Magma. Anything." She said just loud enough for him to hear, stepping backwards to the edge of the clearing.
Aiden took in a deep breath and exhaled. He popped his knuckles and closed his eyes. After a few moments of complete silence, Aiden opened his eyes. They were completely black, darker than they had ever been before now.
He lifted his hands again, and opened his palms. He lifted them up and rubbed his middle finger and thumbs together on each hand. Then, suddenly, a large flash of lighting struck the ground in front of him, followed by five or six others. Aiden smiled triumphantly.
Stacey watched Aiden silently, and a dark look came over her face. Her eyes flickered the electric color of the lightening. "Let`s see what you do with competition." She challenged.
She raised her hands and twitched her wrists towards each other. The lightening Aiden had made gave way to a swirl of blue energy.
Aiden lifted his hands again and rubbed them together. Instantly, a large black hole engulfed the blue energy as if it were a tornado. Aiden clapped his hands together and the black hole disappeared, making the blue energy disappear with it. He smiled. Usually even controlling fire for a certain amount of time would make him weak, but with this new power he felt perfectly fine.
Stacey grinned evily and threw her hands apart. Lightened erupted all around them, froming almost a wall of it. She raised and eyebrow towards Aiden and with a snap the lightening sarted to swirl around him.
Aiden put his hands together and made a fist. Then, a large gust of wind formed around him and shielded him from the lightening. He bent down as if he were going to sit down, and made a circle with his hands. Aiden then pulled his hands apart quickly and the shield burst into blue lights that looked like flames, pushing the lightning away.
Stacey smiled again, still looking evil. She was surrounded with lightening and its glow gast a soft light on her that flickered as the lightening moved. She raised her hands into the air and threw them towards the ground. Great lightening bolts came down and hit the ground with a loud crack.
Aiden quickly covered himself with a shield again, and stood back up. He made the shield thinner so that he could send a counterattack through it. He pushed his hands forward and sent large beams of red energy towards Stacey. Aiden then smiled crookedly.
Stacey jerked one hand up and one down. The red energy stopped inches from her and flew around her, joining the lightening. "Come on, Aiden. Pretend I am someone else and trying to kill your wife." She called tauntingly to her husband. He would have to push himself if he really wanted to learn.
Aiden blinked a few times and took another deep breath to try and center himself. He wanted to do better but he didn't want to actually hurt Stacey. He wasn't used to this power and he didn't want to lose control of it. Aiden pushed his hands out again, and a large ball of fire was shot out from his shield pushed towards Stacey at a fast speed.
Stacey smiled as the large ball of fire spirralled towards her. Her eyes were glowing bright orange from using the fire that she could so easily control. With just a turning of her wrist the fireball turned around and shot towards Aiden instead.
The ball spiralled forward to him and hit Aiden right in the chest, he didn't have time to make his shield stronger. Aiden flew backwards in the air and hit a tree. The fire didn't burn him, only hit him with alot of force.
Aiden cussed under his breath and stood up, making another stronger shield around himself. Aiden then lifted his arms out beside him and a large wave of fire flew up behind him. He threw his hands back down and the wave of fire pushed forward towards Stacey.
When the fire hit Aiden, Stacey immediatly jumped forward, her powers freezing around her. "Are you okay? "She asked softly, but he didn`t hear her. But he got up, so he must have been fine. Then the wave of fire roleld towards her.
She flew back with a weak uumph! She hit the ground then slid back a few feet. She laughed loudly, then stood up and walked towards Aiden. The air smelled of fire and burnt wood, although the clearing was fireproof.
"Da*n, Aiden." She giggled.
Aiden met her halfway across the clearing. He took her hand and smiled weakly. "I'm sorry love. It is kind of hard to control myself sometimes..." He trailed off in thought. He guessed that may be why his eyes changed colors whenever he used his powers, loss of control. "Are you okay?" Aiden asked after a few moments, he looked down at Stacey.
Stacey laughed again. "I`m fine. Are you okay? I`m betting that mine had a little bit more energy behind it that yours. And you hit a tree." She gave him a look that demanded to know if he was fine.
"And besides, that was really good. You may not think you did, but you controlled it just fine. You have to step outside of your comfort zone if you ever want to do soemthing big." She advised.
Aiden shrugged his shoulders. "Oh, I'm fine. It didn't hurt." He answered as he scanned down his arms, only a few cuts and bruises but nothing major. He then turned to look at Stacey. "I would try harder but it is difficult to get out of my comfort zone when I'm fighting my wife." He explained with a disapproving look.
Stacey smiled. "Well, what if your wife didn`t talk to you until you did push yourself?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. She didn`t even know if she could not talk to him, but she would try.
He blinked and looked at her for a few moments. "You mean that?" Aiden asked, surprised.
Stacey nodded threateningly. "Yep." And with that she turned around and walked back to her side of the clearing.
Aiden leaned back and stood the for a moment. He was confused at whether she was serious or not. After a few seconds had passed, Aiden followed her to her side of the clearing. "Okay, what do you want me to do?"
Stacey shrugged and started to walk towards the other side of the claring, a ball of fire forming in her hand. As her back turned to him, she pursed her lips together, but when she turned back to him, she looked calm with her orange eyes.
Aiden tilted his head and stepped back a few steps to give her more room. He watched Stacey and waited for her to tell him what to do.
Stacey grinned to herself. Aiden had no idea what he was supposed to do, even though she had told him. She wanted him to push himself, to make himself use his powers that he held back. He really had great powers, he just didn`t know how to use then.
Slowly and calmly, she lifted her hands and caressed the ball of fire, letting it grow and get darker until it was the size of a soccer ball and blue. Quite suddenly, she sent it flying towards Aiden.
Aiden quickly caught on and in a spilt second he made a wave of energy block the flame that was coming towards him. After it was deflected, Aiden stepped back quickly and put both of his hands into fists. A few seconds later his hands began to shake so he unclenched them, making bolts of lightning hit the ground around Stacey.
Stacey was smiling evily again. She threw her hands out and the lightening hit the ground flat with a soft screeching. She flicked her hands to the air and it jumped to life, dashing towards Aiden, but not as fast as if could have. She did that on purpose. While she wanted him to push himself, she didn`t want to hurt him.
Aiden stood up straight and lifted his hands in the air. He wasn't going to hold back now. He pushed his hands out and another wave of energy smashed into the oncoming lightning beams, making them disappear. Then, Aiden swirled his hands and made a large blue and black flame. It was about the size of a boulder. Aiden closed his hands quickly and the flame flew through the air towards Stacey at full speed.
Aiden's eyes were now completely a new shade of black, replacing his normal dark brown color.
Stacey`s eyes flickered darkly as the fire rippled towards her. She watcehd it, thinking as its heat neared her. Seconds before it would have hit her, she pulled her arms together and flung them apart. Then dark ball of fire slpit in half before turning back in on itself and reforming, then speeding towards Aiden.
A whip of wind was sprillaling around Stacey, making her hair fly wildly.
Aiden watched the wind rip around her. He carefully made his shield thicker, and moved it so that it was larger and it covered all around himself. He then rubbed his index finger and thumb together to try and make the wind slow down.
Stacey felt the wind around her die down, but she let it speed up. Aiden wasn`t practiced with the wind, she she had an upper hand. With a flick of the wrists she sent a million little sparks dashing towards Aiden, followed by lightening. The sky above them was turning pink, but she didn`t care. As long as they were back by seven...
Aiden made the shield even more thicker. However, one flash of lightning got through, hitting him. He fell onto one knee, but he tried not to let the phase him. Aiden stood up again and made a large gust of water fly towards Stacey at a fast speed.
The wave of water surprised Stacey; the wind and lightening that had been gathering around her went away, the wind with a hiss and the lightening with a crack. She smiled, though, and flickered her fingers apart.
Vines grew from the ground at a quick speed, wrapping itself close to Aiden.
Aiden looked down and pointed his hands at the vines. With a simple flick of his wrist fire shot out to the vines and made them burn away. He looked up and put his arms in the air. Instantly, more lightning flew out of the sky and were coming towards Stacey. Aiden liked all this new power.
Stacey smiled again. She snapped her fingers and the lightening disappeared. Seconds later, it reappeared around Aiden instead.
Aiden made a face and put his hands together. He put his hands into fists and unclenched them again. A moment later the earth around Stacey began to shake violently as the lightning began to get closer to himself.
Stacey fell backwards as the ground beneathe her began to shake. She put one palm against the ground to stop it and lifted the otehr towards Aiden. Firey swirls of fire and wind whipped towards him.
Aiden used his shield to try to block the fire and the wind. However, it was too late. The fire hit him, but he was immune to it so no harm was done. Then the wind hit him and made him fly backwards. He landed on his back to the ground with a loud..thud!
After a few minutes had passed, Aiden lifted his head up and looked around. He felt dizzy.
As Aiden flew back, Stacey immediatly dropped everything and rushed to his side. "Oh, my moon! Are you alright?" she asked, sitting beside him and brushing his hair from his face.
Aiden looked at Stacey as she rushed to his side. "No, no I'm fine." He muttered after a low groan came from his chest. "I...should've been paying more attention." He said slowly.
"Are you sure?" She persisted, pattin his arms, then his chest and stomach to see if he reacted to anything.
Aiden nodded his head slowly. "Yeah, I'm perfectly fine. I think I got the breath knocked out of me is all." He said, his breathing coming slowly. He looked back at Stacey and said, "That was a nice shot."
Stacey layed down so her face was level with his. "Are you sure? I can heal anything, if I hurt you. Did I hurt you?" She really hoped he wasn`t hurt. She couldn`t love with herself if she hurt him.
Aiden coughed and layed his head back down on the grass. He layed one of his hands on his stomache. "I'm definatly okay. I only need a second to rest. I guess I should practice more..." He said quietly.
Stacey still looked over Aiden with concern in her eyes. "I shouldn`t have used so much force. You`re not used to pushing your powers that much." She shook her head and put her head in her hands.
Aiden frowned and took one of Stacey's hands and pulled it softly from her face. "Love, its not your fault. Please don't think that." He told her quietly.
Stacey frowned. She knew it was her fault, but she also knew that there was no point in arguing. So instead, she reasted her head on his chest, breathing deeply.
Aiden cleared his throat and patted Stacey's shoulder. "Don't worry about me." He pleaded with her. "I've had worse."
Stacey still frowned. "I don`t care. I hurt you. I`m so sorry." she said quickly beforre he could argue.
Aiden looked at her with a disapproval. "I'm fine." He reassured. "Really." He insisted. Aiden leaned back on his elbows, and began to sit up.
Stacey wrinkled her nose, then rolled onto her back. The sky above them was geting lighter and lighter. With a sigh, she spoke. "We`ll have to go back soon, my moon." She said softly.
"I suppose your right." He agreed. Aiden slowly sat up straight and looked at the sky. Clouds were beginning to form above them.
Stacey carefully stood up and stretched her arms back over her head. With another sigh she fel her back pop, then she dropped her arms to her sides. Taking Aiden`s hand again, she led him towards the school.
Aiden got up slowly. Sure, there was a little soreness but it wasn't so bad at all. "You were amazing out there by the way." He commented.
Stacey just shrugged. "Just remember, I learn differently than you. When I`m near someone, everything that they`ve learned to do gets pushed into my mind, so it`s like I`ve already done them before. That thing I did a few days ago with the glass, I learned that from the bartender."
Aiden nodded as he thought about that. "So, you never really have to go to class or anything?" He asked, his tone curious.
Stacey thought for a moment. "Class helps, that`s for sure. Othrwise I wouldn`t know how to control the powers as they are basically forced upon me." She tried to explain.
Aiden tilted his head to one side. "I guess you are right about that." He began to recall how many times he was absent for his classes. He shrugged his shoulders, not really worried. "I think you seem to handle your powers well. However, I wouldn't know much about that stuff."
Stacey nodded as she led him towards the school. "Well, if you had everyone`s powers rushed upon you and had been in the hospital wing numerous times, forcing Ginny unpon you, basically..... well, then you`d probably know how to handle stuff, too." She said almost bitterly.
She sighed. "I`m sorry. But you just think that powers are good, nothing bad comes with it. Well, bad stuff comes, let me tell you." She added softly.
Aiden noticed Stacey's tone so he decided he wouldn't bother her about it. He sighed quietly as he followed her. "I'm sorry."
Stacey shook her head. "It`s completely fine. You deserve to know. I just hope you don`t think that my powers are just powers. They come with not so nice things, too." She explained in a serious tone. They came out of the trees and the soft sunlight hit them.
"I don't think that. Sometimes I can tell something is bothering you. Now I know it is probably because of your powers." Aiden continued slowly. "You're not that hard to read." He glanced at Stacey as stepped into the light. He loved the way she looked when the sun was shining on her.
Stacey smiled. "You aren`t either, but I could be if I needed to. But I hope you know that I would never lie to you unless I really had to. Which I don`t think I`ll ever have to do." She said, looking at him sincerely. She smiled again as she looked at him. He looked nice if this soft light.
Aiden moved his dark colored hair out of his face, and began to walk more slowly. It was beginning to get later in the early morning and people would be awake soon.
"What kind of circumstance do you think that would be?" Aiden asked, curiously tilting his head to one side.
Stacey shrugged and thought for a moment. "Well, if... someone threatens me and if you find out about them, they`ll kill me. I don`t know. Something like that. I wouldn`t lie to you unless I had to. I promise you that, my moon."
Aiden stared at Stacey with an odd expression for a long moment. He took in a deep breath and exhaled.
"Is something like that going on now?" He asked, his voice quiet.
Stacey gave Aiden a look of horror. "Oh, my God. No! Did soemthing make you think that?" She asked, hoping it didn`t seem like she was lying.
Aiden took a few seconds to compose his facial expressions. He hadn't ment to upset her.
"Nothing. I was only curious...you know...uh, in case something was happening. I would really like to know." He answered Stacey slowly.
"Aiden," Stacey stopped walking. "I will always tell you everything I can. If you don`t know something, it either isn`t important, or it is so insignificant that it doesn`t matter, and even then I`ll still probably tell you." Her eyes locked with his, hoping he could tell that she was telling the complete truth.
Aiden stared into Stacey's eyes for awhile. He believed her. It was only a question for reassurance for himself. He put his hands on her shoulders, and leaned forward.
"I trust you. I just really worry about you sometimes, my love." Aiden told her quietly.
Stacey raised her hands so they covered his. "There is no need to worry, my moon. You would know if I was lying to you; you would be able to tell before I got five words out." She tried to assure softly.
Aiden sighed loudly, and leaned forward to rest his forehead on her shoulder as if he were tired. He took in a deep breath, filling his nose with her scent.
"You're probably right." Aiden agreed. "If only I could read minds..."
Stacey closed her eyes and wrapped her arms around him. "My moon, readin minds isn`t really a gift, either. Neither is having your thoughts read." She said. After a few moments of silence, she spoke again.
"I can put my thoughts into your mind, but I cannot give you the power to read minds. Reading minds has to do with a glitch in the brain. It requires a specially developed lobe. That`s why readin minds usually runs in families. Elements are only gifts." She tried to explain.
Aiden lifted his head so he could look into Stacey's eyes.
"Doesn't it make things easier though? You don't have to worry about how someone feels. You already know." He asked, tilting his head to one side.
Stacey ran her fingers through his hair. "You`ve already told me that I`m easy to read." She reminded.
Aiden nodded slowly. He shrugged his shoulders.
"Well, I mean anybody. Couldn't someone learn this sort of power?" He asked her.
Stacey shrugged. "I don`t know. You`d have to ask Ginny. Her powers are based more on the mind. She`s been through a lot, though, so it only makes sense that she has the powers that seh does." She said, starting to walk towards the school again.
Aiden tried to lighten up his mood more. He flipped his hair out of his eyes. He began to recall his first encounter with Ginny.
"Ginny seems like a very powerful woman." Aiden pointed out, almost meaning to make it sound like a question.
Stacey laughed once. "Yeah. she could take out this whole town without even lifting a finger." She said. She didn`t know if it was exactly true, but she would bet on it that Ginny could.
Aiden nodded thoughtfully.
"Wow. I wondered what she would've thought if she was my teacher...me skipping so much." Aiden pointed out, smiling now.
Stacey smiled, too. "Yeah, you wouldv`r learned a bit more if you didn`t skip." she said, pushing him playfully.
Aiden laughed quietly. He pretened to almost lose his balance when she pushed him.
"Skipping is fun. You should try it some time. Its healthy for you." Aiden disagreed.
Stacey grinned. "Can you imagine what Ginny and Lavy would do to me if they found out I skipped?! They have close tabs on me." She said, nodding her head as if they could hear ehr now.
Aiden considered that for a moment.
"I'd guess they would be mad. Do they even know how much times I've skipped? I doubt half of my teachers can recall my name." He pointed out, smiling mischeviously.
Stacey rolled her eyes sarcastically as they rounded the school to go towards the Gryffindor tower. "If they knew how many times you`ve skipped, they probably wouldn`t let you leave." She teased.
He smiled even more at that. He looked up at the sky as the sun began to get higher, making the day more bright.
"That would be interesting..." Aiden said as he started to walk faster.
Stacey looked at the sky and stopped. "You know what, we`ll just do this my way." she mumbled before resting her hands on Aiden`s shoulders and transporting them to the Gryffingdor common room.
Aiden smiled a little bit and looked around. Luckily for them, no one was awake yet. You could faintly hear the snoring of the other students. The teleporting was very convenient.
"What classes do you have today?" He asked Stacey.
Stacey thought for a moment. "Ancient Runes. Arithmatric. Double Potions. Lunch. Flying. Transfiguration. Care of Magical Creatures. And Defense." She said, listing off all of her classes for the day.
Aiden blinked a few times and exhaled. He sat on the arm of the couch. It was warm in the common room due to the seemingly always lit fire.
"Wow. Which one is the hardest?" He asked. They never really talked about school much so he was curious.
Stacey smiled. She had been in all of the advanced classes, and had had all of Ginny`s classes when she taught. Now some jerk took her spot. "Ancient Runes and Arithmatric tie for first. And those are always early in the morning." She rolled her eyes and sat on the couch close to Aiden.
Aiden began to absentmindedly play with the ends of her hair.
"What time do they end?" He asked.
Stacey smiled brightly. Some snoring had stopped, so they would have to part soon. "You know, I think I`m going to skip Defense Against the Dark Arts." She said happily. "I think I`ve been though enough to know how to defend myself, don`t you think?" She asked as she took his hand.
Aiden leaned his head back with an expression of pure mock horror.
"No, Stacey...that would be bad for you!" He exclaimed, his voice obviously teasing.
Stacey rolled her bright eyes. "Don`t be silly. I could destroy this whole school, if I wanted to. They won`t notice, and if they do they won`t care. I have some of the better grades in the school." she pushed him lightly again, then heard footsteps.
"I`ll see you at two, out by the lake?" she asked, standing up.
Aiden nodded, and leaned forward to peck Stacey on the lips quickly before she had to leave.
"I'll meet you there." Aiden agreed.
Stacey`s eyes flickered to the staircases before she leaned forward and kissed him softly and slower before stepping back. "`Till then, my moon." She whispered, squeezing his hand then letting it go.
Aiden smiled gently and slowly let go of her hand. Obviously, he wasn't going to be going to any of his classes today, so it was going to be a rather slow day until later this afternoon.
Stacey pointed a finger at him as she backed towards the stairs. "Hey, go to the clearing and practice." She said, her eyes flashing with love and warning.
Aiden looked at Stacey and nodded. It would be better than standing inside doing nothing.
"That sounds like a good idea." Aiden agreed, standing up and stretching his arms.
Stacey smiled at him before disappearing to the girls` dorm.
At two o`clock, Stacey rushed out to the Lake. she would have transported, but the teachers didn`t like it when she did. She was in her uniform, carrying three fat books in her arms.
Aiden sat near the shore of the lake, leaning against a tree in the shade. Today it was more foggy than usually and the sun could not be seen. He wore dark blue skinny jeans and a grey hoodie with the hood over his head. He rolled up his sleeves which revealed several wristbands. He sighed quietly with his head facing the sky, and his eyes closed.
Stacey appeared near Aiden rather suddenly, and a wide grin stretched acrost her face as she saw him. "Hi." She greeted merrily as she plopped down beside him, her hair falling around her shoulder. Her eyes gleamed a soft blue, the color the sky would normally be on a nice day.
Aiden smiled as Stacey arrived next to quite suddenly. He hadn't heard her coming. He took Stacey's hand in his own.
"Hello, love." He greeted cheerfully.
Stacey smiled and squeezed his hand tightly. "I wish you were in my classes." She pouted. "Maybe then you`d come more often." She teased, pushing his shoulder lightly.
Aiden laughed quietly. He leaned his head back against the base of the large tree he sat against.
"Probably." He agreed. "I doubt I'd pay attention any though."
Stacey laughed, too. "Yeah, you`d probably stare at me the whole time." She joked as she played with his hand.
Aiden laughed and watched Stacey play with his hand. He continued to smile, his white teeth shining despite the lack of light.
"That....or fall asleep." He teased her lightly.
Stacey`s smiled reappeared. "So, what did you do while I was gone?" She asked, drawing random designs on his palm.
He leaned back against the tree, and stretched his free hand, cracking his wrist in the process.
"Well, I went out to the clearing for awhile. Then about an hour ago I came out here and took a nap." Aiden replied with a smile, obviously pleased with himself for being so lazy.
Stacey laughed. "And what did you do in the clearing all day?" She asked, happiness in her voice. "Mr. Sleepy-Head, you must have done something there." She raised an eyebrow.
Aiden shrugged his shoulders, and yawned.
"I mainly just practiced the new things I learned yesterday...or should I say early this morning." He answered her with sleep expression.
Stacey smiled. "You were surprised about how much you learned, weren`t you?" She asked, her eyes flickering green.
Aiden nodded, and blinked his eyes a few times.
"Yeah, I am. It was actually fun to have all this...power." He told Stacey as he turned to look at her.
Stacey smiled. "You know, you have to learn how to control the power." She raised an eyebrow questioningly.
Aiden stared into Stacey's eyes.
"Yeah...thats what I'm trying to work on. I'm having problems controlling myself. Harder than before." He confessed.
Stacey`s smile turned a little smug. "See? It`s not so easy." she pointed out. "And you only have about a... fourth of what I have to deal with."
Aiden made a face, trying to decide how that would be like. It would be extremely hard to deal with.
"I can only imagine..." He muttered, squeezing Stacey's hand.
Stacey nodded. "You thought it would be easy, didn`t you?" she asked softly.
Aiden shrugged his shoulders again as he began to think of the right answer.
"Well...not exactly easy. Although, I didn't expect it to be this hard either." He concluded.
((Quick question: Where do you get your pics for Aiden? Photobucket?))
Stacey grinned smugly. "So, do you still want to be some super-duper magic man?" She asked sarcastically.
[/b](([/b]Mmhm. Usually theres some good pics on there.))
Aiden chuckled, and nodded his head up and down slowly.
"Yes m'am." He replied, looking at Stacey.
((What tags do you enter?))
Stacey laughed and pushed his shoulder gently and playfully. "But if you were a magic man, you wouldn`t be you." She complained with an exaggerated pout.
Aiden tilted his head to one side, and layed down in the grass. He layed his hands on his stomache and sighed.
"I would. Only a more magical me." He pointed out with a smile, moving his fingers as if he were using magic.
((Well, for him I'd usually put something in about a scene guy, but if you're looking for something else just type in anything you're looking for.))
((Kk. Thank you.))
Stacey frowned and scooted over to him, her face close to his. "But you wouldn`t be you." She repeated, but this time it sounded like a real complaint.
Aiden stayed still as Stacey leaned even closer to him. Their faces were close together.
"How so?" He inquired, his tone curious.
((No problem.))
Stacey picked up his hand. "Well... you would be... different. You just, would have a different feel about you. You probably didn`t see the difference in me, since we had just met, but... I changed. Maybe it was a combination of a few... things happening at the time, but I did change."
She looked up and met his eyes. "You would change." Her voice was quiet and serious.
Aiden slowly ran his thumb over the palm Stacey's hand that he held.
"How do you think I would change exactly?" He asked her, his face turning serious now.
Stacey shrugged, looking down again. "You would... act just slightly different. Smell different. I don`t know. The changes are always different, but there are always changes." She buried her face into Aiden`s shoulder, closing her eyes.
Aiden patter her softly, and looked down at her.
"Well, don't worry love...I'll make sure I'll never change for you." He promised.
Stacey turned her head to the side so she could look at Aiden. "I`ll love you no matter what, my moon. But I love you best the way you are." She turned her bright eyes up to meet his. "I do love you. Way more than I ever thought I would."
Aiden flashed her a brilliant smiled, and pulled Stacey closer to him.
"I love you too." He answered her the only way he knew how. He loved the way all of that sounded.
Stacey smiled, then slowly sat up. "I love you, too. More than anyone or anything I know." She said, leaning forward to kiss him quickly.
Aiden grinned yet again and leaned forward to kiss her back.
"Except me. I love you more." He disagreed again.
Stacey`s eyes changed to their brightest blue when aiden kissed her, like they always did. "Oh, you do not!" She said, playing with his fingers.
He absentmidedly watched her play with his own fingers.
"I sure do." Aiden disagreed lightheartedly.
Stacey gave him a look that said, duh! "Nu-uh! Because I love you more than anything ever thought of. I love you. I love you. I love you!" She said quickly with a large grin.
Aiden puckered his bottom lip out in a pouting face. Instead of arguing, he leaned forward to kiss her quickly.
Stacey`s mouth gaped open after Aiden`s lips parted with hers. A shocked expression was locked on her face. It was hard to hold that expression there; she wanted to laugh, but she knew she could trick Aiden with her little act.
Aiden leaned back with a confused expression. He wondered if he had done something wrong.
"What?" He asked, confused.
Stacey`s featured turned into a puting expression. "You didn`t do it right." She complained softly.
Aiden looked around, still confused.
"How should I do it, love?" He asked quietly.
The corner of his lips began to curve into a small grin.
Stacey scooted closer to Aiden until the tip of her nose touched his. "Like this." Then she pressed her lips against his softly, taking both of his hands in her own.
Aiden grinned even more as Stacey kissed him the way she thought the kiss should've been. He squeezed one of her hands gently as he kissed her back.
Stacey tilted her head and kissed him again, not quite as soft. She soon let go of his hand and her arms found their way around his neck.
Aiden parted his lips as he kissed Stacey again. He leaned forward, and moved one hand to her side, the other to wrap around her shoulder.
Stacey felt his lips part and did the same. Her eyes sparked brilliantly, but only she knew that. One of her hands flattened against the back of Aiden`s neck as she kissed him a little more... enthusiastic.
((And don`t judge me! I`m dead tired, but on a writing streak.))
((Haha its okay. I'm dead tired too))
Aiden's eyes shot a bright gold color under his closed eyelids. He noticed they way Stacey kissed him, and kept up to her. He moved that hand that was on her side to the middle of her back, and the other caressed her cheek.
Stacey felt her back arch slightly as she felt Aiden`s hand their. Her fingers were finding their way into his hair. She wasn`t even thinking. She could really think, anyway. She didn`t have to think around Aiden. They were perfect for each other, so there was no need to.
A loud croack not far from them made Stacey gasp and jump back, falling onto her rear end. "Oh," She said before breaking into a fot of giggles.
Aiden looked around, startled by Stacey's sudden fall. He looked at her confused.
"Are you okay?" He asked, even though he knew the answer from her giggles.
Stacey shook her head and pointed towards the trees, which were just visable through the fog. Two wolves stood there. One rusty colored and one grey; Stacey`s wolves. "They scared me." She said through her giggles.
Aiden turned to where Stacey pointed to. He blinked a few times to adjust his eyes through the fog. He recognized the wolves the moment he saw them. Aiden turned around to Stacey, his eyes extremely bright from earlier.
"Where'd they come from?"
Stacey fially stopped laughing. "I don`t know. They knew when I`m in or near the forest. Who nows how?" She asked, scooting back over to Aiden and taking his hands again. She signed something tot he wolves and they disappeared.
He took Stacey's hand and entwined his fingers with hers. Aiden watched the wolves leave. He tilted his head, and turned to Stacey.
"That was a quick visit." He noted, wondering what made them leave.
Stacey smiled at Aiden`s ignorance, playing with his hand again. "I did, of course. They`re trained. If they weren`t, they wouldn`t be allowed around here. "She jerked her head in the general direction of the school.
Aiden lifted his head towards the school as Stacey directed to it. The sun just barely escaped through the trees and shined in his eyes, revealing their bright color.
"Oh. Do they ever get really close to the school?" He asked, leaning back again.
Stacey shook her head, her eyes wandering to the dark trees. "No. They never leave the forest. This spell is set up around where they stay, and it calls to them. the only thing strong is me when I`m in the forest." she explained, her eyes lifting to meet his.
Aiden nodded his head with a thoughtful expression. He slowly leaned backwards onto the ground, his head resting against the bas of the tree again.
"I don't think I've ever noticed them roaming around the forest. Do the only come around people when you are there?" Aiden asked quietly with a deep sigh.
"Pretty much." She replied softly. Stacey layed down beside him, her hand still in his. "Why the sigh?" She asked.
Aiden looked down at Stacey's hand, and cleared his throat.
"I feel lazy is all. I just woke up." He pointed out, smiling softly.
Stacey laughed quietly. "Now I know why you don`t sleep at night!" she exclaimed with a teasing grin. She didn`t mind that Aiden skipped classes, even though she probably should. She loved him. Why? The only reason she knew was because he was himself.
He looked up at Stacey, and grinned even wider than before.
"Why do you think?" Aiden asked.
"Why do I think about what?" She asked, a confused expression on her face.
Aiden grinned.
"Why wouldn't I sleep when you're around." He pointed out.
Aiden really didn't sleep as much as normal people did, but that was just normal. He was used to getting little sleep.
Stacey smiled as she put it together. "Well, you make me feel boring when I`m alseep and I know you aren`t." She argued, still smiling.
Aiden shook his head with disagreement.
"Love, you're never boring. Even when you are asleep." He pointed out with a smile.
Stacey felt her cheeks warm with blush. "Oh, no! Do I talk? Snore? What do I do that`s so interesting?" She asked hurridly.
Aiden laughed quietly, and rested his other hand on his knee.
"I don't know about all that. I just find in fascinating when you sleep is all." He answered.
Stacey laughed nervously, looking down at his hand she held. 'What`s so fascinating about it?" She asked, her eyes flushing pink.
Aiden shrugged his shoulders as if he didn't have an answer.
"I don't know...it just is. Everything about you is fascinating, even when you're sleeping you are." He told Stacey.
Stacey`s blushing flared to life again. "Well, something has to make it that way." She urged, still looking down at their hands.
Aiden thought for a moment.
"Well, I guess its the fact that you are truly yourself when you're asleep. You don't have to worry, be afraid, or anything. Its when someone can actually be who they really are." He decided. "Even though you're asleep, you are who you really are. He smiled.
Stacey smiled and the blushing slowly went away. "But that`s not fair. I can`t see you when you sleep." She complained.
Aiden frowned as the blushing went away.
"You will someday." He promised. "Its nothing special though."
Stacey smiled evily. "If my sleeping is so fascinating, then you sleeping must be extrodinary." she teased as she squeezed his hand.
Aiden snorted loudly, but couldn't help but smile anyway.
"I doubt it. Only snoring." He chuckled.
Stacey grinned and hugged Aiden, her arms wrapping around his waist. He was bigger than she was in height, so her head rested comfortably on his chest.
"You`re a dork." She teased in a whisper.
Aiden put his arms around her. Stacey's skin felt a little cold compared to his, but he didn't mind.
"Us dorks should keep together then." He teased back.
Aiden closed his eyes, and rested his cheek against the top of her head.
Stacey smiled. "Yeah, don`t want the Dork Squad to come nerd us out." She teased back, also closing her eyes.
Aiden laughed quietly, and kissed the top of her head.
"Actually... now that I think about it, you define the word dork." He pointed out.
Stacey wrinkled her nose, but didn`t move. "And by what definition is that?" She asked.
Aiden smiled even more.
"Well, I would show you but I don't have a dictionary with me. Look up the work dork, and it'l read 'Stacey'." He explained.
Stacey laughed and pushed Aiden away from her, walking past him and into the forest. "But if you look up nerd, you`ll be there." She teased, walking away from him.
Aiden watched Stacey stand up, and walked towards the forest. He stood up, and crossed his arms, leaning against a tree.
"Where you going, love?" He asked curiously, thinking that he'd might of actually offended her.
Stacey stopped, shrugged, then turned back around and started walking again. She smiled as her back was to Aiden. She knew he would follow her.
Aiden frowned. After a few moments of watching her walk away, he stood staight up and followed Stacey to wherever she was going.
Stacey pursed her lips to keep from laughing, but her stride didn`t stop. A few minutes later she stood at the edge of a clearing, looking up to the grey sky. It wasn`t their clearing, and it was a lot smaller.
Aiden followed about ten feet behind Stacey, unable to see her expression. He stopped beside her when he arrived at the clearing.
"Whats this?" Aiden asked, glancing around.
Stacey shrugged again and layed down in the grass. Her face was blank like the sky. Her eyes were a soild brown, her natural color, but she layed her hand palm up so she could take Aiden`s hand.
Aiden bent down on one knee, and took her hand. He looked at Stacey with the same confused expression.
Stacey smiled. She jerked on Aiden`s arm lightly so he would lay down beside her.
Aiden did what Stacey directed, and layed down on his back. He kept holding onto her hand, and layed the other one on his stomache. He turned his head to look at Stacey, still confused.
Stacey smiled at aiden again then kissed him quickly, squeezing his hand. She beamed at him, then turned her head to the side, facing the trees. "Don`t move." She breathed.
Aiden didn't even have time to react before Stacey turned her head. He kept still, and didn't say anything. His curiousity was about to get the better of him.
Stacey squeezed his hand. Within seconds a pounding against the ground could be heard. It sounded like many hooves hitting the earth at a regular beat.
Aiden kept still at the sounds of the beating on the ground. It felt like an earthquake and sounded like a stampede. A crease furrowed in his forehead, as he slowly looked around.
Stacey squeezed Aiden`s hand quickly and tightly-- a warning for him not to move. The sounds stopped and a group of centuars were faintly visable through the trees.
Aiden looked at the centaurs. He was careful not to move his head, only his eyes. It had been ages since he had seen the centaurs, and never this close.
One of the centuars stepped forward, towards them. Stacey tilted her head very slowly to look at it, not meeting any of their eyes.
Aiden looked at Stacey, then one of the centaurs. It was much bigger than he expected them to be. His eyes stayed a dark color.
Stacey squeezed Aiden`s hand again and slowly reached her other hand out to the ground. Very slowly, a flower grew a few yards from the centuars.
Aiden looked at Stacey with a now doubtful expression. He knew centaurs could be quiet violent at times, and he certainly didn't want to provoke that type of behavior.
Stacey felt Aiden`s unease and she sqeuuzed his hand again. One of the cetuars stepped forward from the trees and made a quick bow before they all disappeared with nothing more than the sound of hooves. Stacey sat up slowly.
"Don`t ask me how I had known they were going to be here." She said with a grin.
Aiden looked up, and saw that the centaurs had retreated into the forest. Their hoofsteps could be heard getting quieter in the distance.
"How-?" He began to ask, but decided it would be useless.
"You still continue to amaze me Stacey Gray." Aiden pointed out quietly with a shake of his head.
Stacey grinned brightly. "You`ll just have to get used to it Aiden Gray." She replied, squeezing his hand.
Aiden lifted Stacey's hand and brought it to his lips to kiss it softly. His eyes were glowing, but continued to stay their dark color.
"I honestly don't mind." He pointed out with a large grin.
"Where did they go?" Aiden asked, looking towards the forest now.
Stacey smiled and shrugged. "Who knows. I don`t even know how I knew they were going to be here, but I did. I don`t know everything, ya know." She said, pushing his shoulder playfully.
Aiden smiled, and shook his head. He wrapped his arm around her waiste as Stacey pushed his shoulder.
"Much more than me. However, I guess I should go to class more.." He pointed out with a mischevious smile.
Stacey leaned her head against his shoulder as he took her waist. "It might help, although I think you`re fine the way you are." She said softly, playing with his hand.
Aiden smiled, and watched her play with his hand. He couldn't help but noticed how pale he was. Although, it was his natural skin color.
"I think you are way more than fine the way you are." He said, raising an eyebrow and looking at Stacey.
Stacey laughed softly. "Fine, you`re amazing and if you change, we`re gonna have a problem." She dropped his hand hand hugged him.
"I love you, you know." she grinned.
Aiden wrapped his arms around Stacey, and hugged her tightly. He cheek against her head.
"I love you too, more than you know." He replied with a smile.
Stacey smirked. "Oh, I think I know." She teased. She turned her head so that her nose pressed against his neck, and she took a deep breath.
Aiden felt her breath on his neck, and it raised goosebumps on his arms. He looked down at Stacey, unable to see her face.
"No love, trust me. You don't know even a tiny amount of how much I love you." Aiden whispered sweetly in her ear.
Stacey raised her hand and stroaked his cheek.
"But you`re mistaken, my leige." She teased, "You are the one with no idea." She smirked, holding back a laugh.
Aiden grinned brightly. He leaned forward, his face close to hers now. His eyes shown brightly.
"No, I think I do." He pointed out, making his voice sound sweet.
Stacey laughed softly and tapped the nd of his nose with her finger.
"Oh, my moon. You have absolutely no idea." She said softly, leanin close to him.
Aiden decided not to argue this time. Instead, be leaned forward to close the short gap between them and pecked Stacey on the lips.
"I do." He answered a moment later in a whisper, his eyes still closed.
Stacey smiled and rested her forehead against his, the tip of her nose touching his.
"If you do, then I do." She whispered back, her eyes open and shining a bright blue that would put a sapphire to shame.
Aiden opened his eyes slowly. They shined brightly in the sun, but nothing compared to Stacey's brilliant color.
"Deal." He agreed, smiling with a deep breath.
Stacey grinned and sat up, her head slightly tilted.
"Do you wanna go into Hogsmead?" She asked. "I mean, classes are almost over, and tomorrow`s a Hogsmead day anyway." she shrugged.
Aiden shrugged his shoulders, and stood up straight. He stretched his legs, and leaned down to help Stacey up.
"Thats fine with me. Where would you like to go there?"
Stacey stood up as Aiden helped her, even though she definatly didn`t need help to stand up.
"I don`t know. I was hoping you would have an idea." she shrugged, then leaned backards until her back popped with a soft crack.
"I could always transport us out of the country again," She offered, more as a joke than a suggestion.
Aiden put his arm over her shoulders, and started to walk towards Hogsmead with a swift glance behind them.
"Honestly love..." Aiden mumbled, tilting his head to the side, "I never pick anything you know that. I guess we could see whats down there. Maybe something different will be going on."
Stacey snorted, hooking her arm around his waist. "I doubt it. We could always go down to Diagon Alley, see what`s down there. They have some differen stuff."
((Sorry about my mistakes, if I miss any. I`m on a diferent keyboard every time I get on, so it`s messing with my typing.))
Aiden nodded once quickly. He took in a deep breath. He tried to walk a little faster so they would get there soon, but Aiden always seemed to walk slower with Stacey. He rarely noticed.
"Thats fine. I have an idea for later today also." He pointed out with a smile.
((It's okay.))
Stacey smiled. 'Are ya gona tell me what it is?" She asked hopefully, matching his pace.
((Oh yeah, and before I forget, you should start a topic soon on their new house. Not like, today, but soon. You should start it, because Aiden is the one doing everything.))
Aiden shrugged his shoulders, and thought for a moment.
"I'm going to have to ask you before hand, but not yet." He said, using his index finger to touch the tip of her nose.
((Yeah, I was planning on doing that soon. I'm trying to think of good ideas for the house.))
Stacey wrinkled her nose. "You`re going to ask me before hand? What?" She asked, well confused.
Aiden laughed quietly and smiled another teethy grin.
"You'll understand in a minute." He replied, not giving anything else away. "I'm sure we haven't done this though."
Stacey pretended to pout, but didn`t push him. She quickly recovered as they got closer to the little town that was Hogsmead.
Aiden smiled at her composed expression. He kissed the top of her head quickly.
"Where to first, love?"
Stace gave Aiden a pondering look. "You-- you`re... Whats going on?" She asked, her eyes flashing an emerald green, but they still sparkled happily.
Aiden leaned his head back, and gave her an innocent expression. He put one hand up as if he were defending himself.
"What?" He asked with a smile.
"Aiden!" She whined, leaned towards him.
"Tell me what you`re doing, you`re confusing me!" She complained.
Aiden laughed again as she begged. He only wrapped his arm around her more tightly.
"You'll find out soon. After Hogsmead though." He promised.
Stacey wrinkled her nose again, her eyes flickering curiously.
"Well, then, what are we going to do in Hogsmead?" She asked then.
Aiden looked ahead of them. They would be close to there now. Only a few minutes. Aiden smiled at her.
"Diagon Alley sounded like a nice idea." He suggested.
Stacey sighed. "That`s farther away." she complained half-heartedly. 'Can`t you just tell me what we`re doing?" She asked, looking towards the small town with a small smile.
Aiden let his shoulders fall as if he were shrugging.
"Impatient little teenage girl." He teased with a large smile.
Stacey laughed. "Complicated teenage boy." She tased back, pushing him playfully.
"Come on," she begged. Although, for his sake, she didn`t force him into telling her. It was just so easy to do. He could, of course, do the same to her, but it worked a little better on him.
Aiden laughed too. However, he shook his head, refusing to give in.
"No ma'am." He refused.
Stacey frowned playfully. "Then can you at least tell me what I`m supposed to do?" she asked, still grinning.
Aiden through his head back, and shook his head slowly.
"Nooo. Trust me, don't worry about it." He said with a smile.
Stacey sighed and stamped her foot dramatically. "Then what am I supposed to do?" She exclaimed a little louder, but still smiling.
Aiden shook his head and still smiled. He pulled her closer to him.
"Nothing. Don't worry about it love." Aiden said.
Stacey wrinkled her nose, but wrapped her arms around him.
"Are we going to stand ehre all day, then?" She asked softly.
Aiden grinned, and tilited his head to one side. He squeezed her playfully, but then put his arm back over her shoulder and started walking again.
"Nope." He replied, making the P pop.
Stacey sighed heavily, but her steps soon matched Aiden`s and she looked around. She was burning with curiosity.
Aiden sighed too, but not as loudly. He turned his gaze towards Stacey.
"Do you really want to know?" He asked.
Stacey smiled, her steps springing slightly.
"I want to know what I`m supposed to do." She replied airily, grinning like a fool.
Aiden sighed again, but couldn't stop the smile that spread across his face when he saw her expression.
"Well, actually nothing. I think I explained to you wrong on that part. What I meant was if you knew how to do something."
Stacey looked at Aiden and aised an eyebrow, her eyes gleaming purple with curiosity.
"I can do a lot of things. What kind of thing are we talking about?" She asked, almost hopping up and down with impatience.
Aiden wrinkled his nose.
"You made this much bigger than it actually is. I just need to know before-hand if you knew how to fly on a broom well. The rest is a surprise." He explained.
Stacey smiled with partial understanding.
"Yes, I can fly. You`ve never seen me fly before?" She asked, almost stopping in surprise.
Aiden slowed down his pace, as he thought Stacey had.
"Well, I guess I was also asking if you wouldn't mind taking a ride on one? I figured it would be more polite to ask." He said, shrugging.
Stacey waved her hand at him.
"Oh, you don`t have to ask, you should know that. But you`ve never seen me fly? Ever?" She asked, still sounding surprised.
Aiden shook his head back and forth slowly. He had to think for a moment.
"No, not that I recall. You may want to teleport there. It could take awhile." He explained.
Stacey paused, confused again.
'Okay, so we can either teleport, or ride?" She asked, trying to clarify.
Aiden thought for a moment, and nodded once.
"Teleport would be better." He decided.
"How far is it? By miles?" She persisted. She would like to get on a broom again. It had been almost a year since she had last flown, but she had found faster ways to travel.
Aiden thought for a moment. He tried to figure out how long it would take to fly, but he was never good at math.
"Pretty far actually. Teleportation would be the best. Besides, I would like to try it out again." He answered Stacey, squeezing her hand.
Stacey shrugged and sighed. "Okay, then teleport us. I won`t be able to, anyway, because I don`t know where we`re going." She trailed off slowly.
Aiden nodded, and started walking again.
"I'd still like to go to Diagon Alley first, if you don't mind." Aiden suggested.
Stacey walked beside Aiden, her steps matching his.
"Okay, then teleport us to Diagon Alley." she suggested.
Aiden nodded quickly and closed his eyes. He took in a deep breath and kept completely still, then, in a matter of moments they were in Diagon Alley. He grinned.
"Not to bad, eh?" Aiden said playfully.
Stacey smiled and nodded. "You`re getting better. You just need to practice." She congradulated.
She looked around the alley, the buildings close together. People were bustling about, doing this or that, getting quills and parchment. They were standin in front of Ollivander`s Wand Shop. Ollivander had died a few years ago, but his son still owned the place.
Aiden smiled, and squeezed her shoulder. He kissed her on the cheek quickly.
"Good thing I have an amazing teacher." Aiden teased her as he looked up at the shop. "Want to look in there?"
Stacey shook her head slowly, looking towards the shop.
"No, I have a wand." She said. "Where did you want to go?" She asked, looking at him from underneath her eyelashes.
Aiden looked around at the all different shops and the people, indecisive.
"You pick." He said, smiling.
Stacey wrinkled her little nose. "But I don`t like picking." She complined, wrapping an arm around him.
"Can you pick?" she pouted, fluttering her thick eyelashes at him.
She couldn`t help but smile-- not with his warm body so close to her and them fighting over who picked.
Aiden hugged her closer to him. He rolled his eyes with a playful grin.
"How about we look around, find a shop that suits us?" He suggested.
Stacey grinned, leaneing against Aiden.
"That sounds great." She said, her voice almost teasing. She made him suggest it; she liked to make him pick. She knew that he didn`t like her to spend a lot of money on him, so she felt that deciding where they went was a little controlling. She realliy didn`t care where they went, as long as the were together.
Aiden looked around at all the shops. The area was busy with people, and all sorts of people. It made it entertaining to just walk around. He took a quick glance at Stacey, and couldn't help but smile. He always felt warmer when she was around.
After a while of walking, he shrugged his shoulders.
"Any interesting shops yet?" Aiden asked, squeezing her hand.
Stacey shrugged.
"Not really. Not now that I know that you`re going to take me somewhere else." She smiled sweetly, batting her eyelashes.
Her whole body felt warm and light. It always did when she was near Aiden.
Aiden smiled as she batter her eyelashes. He loved it when she did that.
"Well, the place I was thinking about taking you..." He trailed off.
Stacey nonnded slowly, her eyes wide and expectant. She couldn`t help but give Aiden a large grin, her little teeth flashing.
"What about this place?" She asked, still being impatient.
Aiden shrugged his shoulders, and made a face.
"I was wondering if you wanted to meet my family. Well, not exactly my family, just the man I've lived with most of my life..my uncle." He suggested, wondering how she would react. He almost cringed.
Stacey saw his face and how he practically flinched. She lifted a hand and caressed his cheek.
"If you want me to meet your uncle, then I would be glad to." She said softly, gently squeezing his hand.
I was almost ridiculous how little she knew about Aiden. She had never met any of his family or even heard much about them. She could tell that he wasn`t really comfortable about it, so she hadn`t pushed him.
Aiden looked up to meet her face.
"Realy? It's only if you want to. I just thought it would be more appropriate if you met him, since he was like my father figure for most of my life." He explained quietly.
Stacey`s smile slowly grew and she gripped his hand tightly.
"Aiden, it`s like I said, if you want me to meet him, I would just love to." She repeated.
Aiden stood there a moment, thinking if he really wanted to.
"Sure. I think I would." He said, finally smiling.
Stacey grinned. She loved to see Aiden so excited about this.
"Okay, how do we get there?" She asked, looking around.
He squeezed Stacey's fingers, and led her into an alley way.
"Teleportation." Aiden answered as he walked.
Stacey grinned and leaned into Aiden, wrapping her arms around him.
"Don`t leave me behind." She teased, resting her head against hsi chest.
Aiden smiled, and took in a deep breath.
"I won't, ever." He murmered.
Aiden closed his eyes, and took in another breath. Then, in a matter of moments they were on a large hill near a small town which looked to be in the middle of nowhere.
Stacey took a deep breath and shivered. Transportantion always made her feel like she had been pulled through a long tube or something.
"Are we here?" She asked, looking over Aiden`s shoulder. The air smelled of wheat.
Aiden opened his eyes, and looked around at the familiar scene.
"Yes ma'am. You may be surprised I'm from the country." He said playfully.
Stacey grinned.
"I am. You don`t seem like a country guy." She teased, pushing him gently.
Aiden grinned as she pushed him, then wrapped his arm around her shoulder.
"I think you may be surprised a lot about my home life. I never really explained myself much and I'm sorry." He said quitly.
Stacey shrugged.
"It`s fine, my moon. You told me enough, and you didn`t seem exactly happy to talk about it. I wasn`t going to make you relive something you didn`t want to remember."
She was curious about what happened to his parents, but she would find out about that some other day. She loved Aiden too much to want to force him into something.
Aiden looked at her for a long moment, and then shook his head as if he didn't believe something.
"How did someone like me end up with someone like you?" He said.
Stacey gave a sideways grin.
"Because I`m more normal than you think I am." She suggested. Before he could protest she went on. "Is your uncle expecting us?" She asked, her eyes gleaming purple with curiosity.
Aiden looked down at the small town, and took Stacey's hand to lead her down the hill.
"Well, yes and no. I wrote him a letter to possible expect us soon." He explained.
Stacey nodded, thoughtful.
"Does any one live with your uncle?" She asked, her eyes absorbing the small city.
Aiden smelled the wheat in the air, and it brought back memories of his life down here. He thought of how weird things trigger is memory.
"Only Alexis, but she only rarely comes down here." He replied, following Stacey's gaze.
Stacey nodded slowly.
"Alexis, your sister?" She asked. They hadn`t even really talked about any of his familily, but he had once mentioned Alexis.
Aiden nodded his head as they walked closer to the village. He slowed his pace a little.
"Yeah. Shes my step-sister. We don't talk very much though." He explained, ashamed he hadn't mentioned much of all of this before.
Stacey shook her head to herself.
"Aiden, don`t feel bad about not telling me any of this." She said, pulling him to a stop and looking up into his eyes. Her own eyes were bright blue.
"I knew you would tell me someday, okay? I`m just glad I get to hear it."
Aiden shrugged his shoulders and sighed. He still felt like it was wrong.
"Alright. If you say so. If you ever want to know anything, you can ask. I may not enjoy talking about it very much, but you still have the right to know." He explained, looking into her eyes.
Stacey took both of his hands.
"You have the right to tell me when you`re ready, not when I want to know." She replied, squeezing his hands tightly.
Aiden looked down at their hands.
"Thanks love." He replied, then he suddenly smiled. "Are you ready to go show you off?" He teased.
Stacey beamed, glad that he semed happy again.
"I`m ready if you are." She replied, leting go of one of his hands and wraping her arm around his waist.
Suddenly she felt shy, and her pace slowed. "Have yo told your uncle anything about me?" She asked quietly.
Aiden nodded, and slowly walked down the hill closer and closer to the city. He squeezed Stacey's hand again.
"Yeah, I've told him alot. Well, enough that I could fill onto a letter." Aiden said, smiling. "I think hes excited to meet you."
Stacey smiled.
"That`s good. At least we aren`t just barging in saying 'Here`s my wife.'" She teased, squeezing his hand in return.
"What did you tell him?" She asked curiously.
Aiden chuckled, and smiled at Stacey.
"Ahh, lets see. I told him how amazing, beautiful and smart you are. I also told him how much you've changed me for the better." He explained.
Stacey gave a sideways grin.
"You give me toomuch credit," She blushed. "You didn`t change much, I just taught you a few tricks.
Aiden turned his head to look at Stacey.
"No, really you have. If I didn't meet you, I wouldn't be the same person I am today. You've helped me change for the better. Much better." He told her.
Stacey looked down to the ground as they walked, her cheeks blossoming with pink. She never used to blush this much. Aiden had changed her, too. Also for the better.
"Where does your uncle live." She asked, changing the subject.
Aiden grinned brightly as he caught her blushing. He wouldn't say anything about it though.
"Right down there." He answered, pointing down to a small house on the corner of town.
They had finally arrived at the entrance of the country town. Few people walked outside as clouds hovered in the sky. It would soon rain.
Stacey smiled.
"You know where you`re going. I don`t. Lead the way." She said, composing her face enough to look up at him.
((Sorry. I didn't mean to put a question mark.))
Aiden looked at one of the long time familar shops and restaurants. The town was small, like a bedroom town. It was comfortable and everyone knew each other.
"Would you like to get something to eat first?" He asked.
((It`s okay, I knew what you meant.))
Stacey shrugged.
"Whatever you wish, my moon." Was all she answered. If Aiden was just nervous about her meeting his uncle, then he could shake it off whatever way worked for him. Time usually did help.
Aiden shrugged his shoulders, and frowned. He hated picking.
"Might as well get this over with." He said with a sigh.
Stacey slowed, raising an eyebrow.
"Do you want to get it over quickly?" She asked curiously. "Aiden, if you want to wait a while, I`ll wait."
Aiden shrugged his shoulders again.
"Well, we're already here." He explained. "I guess we should go ahead."
Stacey gaze a small smile, still not really sure if Aiden wanted to do this here and now.
"Lead the way, my moon."
Aiden squeezed her hand, and started walking down the street until they came to a smaller two-story house. It was made with cream colored bricks and big windows.
"Here we are." He shrugged.
Stacey smiled.
"It looks nice." She said truthfully. She had had her fill of huge, empty houses.
Aiden snorted, but still smiled that she thought it looked nice. He stood infront of the large door.
"Thanks. Its a place to stay, thats all that matters." He mumbled.
He was recalling in his mind the day he had met her family for the first time. He was still very grateful that they actually liked him.
Stacey stood, admiring the house, when she saw a flicker of movement from behind a curain. She turned to look at Aiden, speaking without making her lips move too much. Habit.
"Are you ready to do this?" She asked, her eyes wide and brown.
Aiden nodded, noticing the curtain move from the corner of his dark eyes.
"Yeah, I just hope you like him is all." He said, lifting his hand to knock on the door.
Not even before he finished knocking, the door opened.
Standing in the doorway was a tall man with dark brown hair. He was good-looking, but not extremely so. He was built muscular and from far away he may look threatening, but his smile was kind and warm. He didn't look much older than fourty.
"Aiden." The man greeted him with a deep voice. He took Aiden's hand, and shook it quickly. "I'm so glad you finally made it. I was beginning to think you weren't coming."
Aiden cringed for a moment, but quickly composed his facial expression. He cleared his throat.
"Yeah. I told you I would come." He said shaking his hand.
"Ryan, this is Stacey, my wife." He explained turning his head to Stacey, smiling again.
Stacey watched as the big man opened the door and greeted Aiden. He was large, that was good. It made Stacey`s job a lot easier. She didn`t know how much this man knew about the wizard world,or exactly what Aiden ahd told him. Somehow she didn`t think he would be as welcoming if he knew that she had killed about a dozen vampires and who knows what else.
Stacey flashed a large, charming smile, her white teeth glowing in the sunlight. She held out her hand for Ryan to take. "I`m Stacey." She beamed at him. Her eyes were blue. There was no way that they could stay brown for very long when she was around Aiden, so she just amde them stay blue. Besides, blue was an easy color to change, and not many people noticed the change.
Ryan grinned a large grin, reaching both of his eyes. He took Stacey's hand and shook it quickly.
"Ah, Stacey. It is very good to finally meet you. I've heard so much about you. Please, please come in." He offered them both with his deep voice. He opened the door for them.
Aiden rolled his eyes, but smiled at Stacey.
"Thanks." He said.
Even though Ryan was his uncle and was a father figure to him his entire life, Aiden always thought he acted like a big kid. Thats probably why they got along so well.
He squeezed Stacey's hand, and walked through the door.
The first room, the living room, was about medium sized and two large sofas placed infront of a brick fireplace. Ontop of the fireplace was a large tv. The room looked comfortable and friendly.
Stacey grinned at Ryan, as she was supposed to. When his back turned, she whisperd to Aiden.
"He seems really nice." She breathed, beaming at his uncle as he turned around again. "You have a lovely home." She said a little louder, her eyes sweeping around the room. she liked the fireplace. It made it homey.
Aiden smiled, his eyes glowing at Stacey. He took her to one of the couches and sat down. The fireplace was dimly lit, but it made the room cozy and warm.
"Try living with him." He teased lightly. "But thanks. I hoped you like it. It's not much, but its home."
Ryan appeared a few moments later. He sat down in an armchair next to the couch they sat on.
"So, Aiden tells me you two go to Hogwarts together. What year are you in?" He asked, looking at the both of them.
Stacey smiled and sat down beside Aiden.
"I already like it." She mumbled right as Ryan entered.
"Yes, I`m in my seventh year. It`ll be my last, unfortunatly." She said, looking down with a sad expression. It wasn`t hard to be charming. Not really. Besides, she liked what she knew of this man, and hadn`t found anything not to like.
Aiden took Stacey's hand, squeezing it gently. He looked at both of them, glad they were seeming to get along so far.
Ryan smiled a teethy grin. He looked at Stacey, tilting his head the same way Aiden always did. It wasn't hard to tell they were related, if only uncle and nephew. He nodded thoughtfully. He leaned his large arms on the back of the sofa.
"Seventh year is always the hardest so I hear." Ryan pointed out. "What classes are you taking?"
He wasn't part of the wizarding world, but living with someone who was made it easy to know the basics.
Stacey glanced at Aiden with an amused smile.
"Well, Astronomy, Advanced Potions, Arithmacy, Transfiguration... the normal classes." She glanced at Aiden again, her eyes sparkling. She was in all of the most advanced classes the school provided, and she even excelled in them.
Aiden looked at Stacey and grinned back.
Ryan nodded his head, taking in a deep breath and exhaling with a sigh.
"I honestly don't know what half of those classes teach." He replied, laughed a low, deep chuckle. "But whatever they may be, they sound interesting."
Ryan looked up at the clock that hung over the brick fireplace.
"Are y'all hungry? I can make something to eat. Or down the street there is a nice restaurant."
Aiden rolled his eyes. He remembered the slim variety of shops and restaurants the small town had to offer. The place his uncle was referring to actually was the best place to eat in town, which wasn't saying much.
Stacey smiled at Ryan charmingly.
"That`s very kind of you," She replied. "Whichever you two prefer." She decided. She looked at Aiden, hoping he would get that she wasn`t going to pick. She squeezed Aiden`s hand.
Ryan shook his head, and lifted his hand up.
"I'm fine. I was only offering incase you two were hungry." He replied as the phone in another room suddeny rang.
"Excuse me." He said, standing up and leaving the room. He was tall enough he had to duck under the door.
Aiden looked at Stacey, and grinned. He squeezed her hand gently and sighed with relief.
"Well, I could wait a little while at least. I want to show youa round the house, though. If you don't mind." He said.
Stacey smiled at Ryan as he left the room before turning to Aiden.
"That sounds cool." She grinned. "I mean, you know everything about me and it`s nice to finally know something about you." She winked at him and squeezed his hand softly.
Aiden rubbed his thumb over the back of her hand softly.
"I'll tell you more. I've been holding back on you for the past years, and I don't need to. It doesn't matter if I don't want to talk about it." He pointed out quietly.
Stacey gave Aiden a serious look.
"I does matter if you don`t want to talk about it. I know what I need to about you. That`s enough for me. Sure I`m curious," She went on before he could argue, "But I love you." She shrugged. "I don`t want to cause you to have to think of something that might be painful." She said just as quiet as he had been.
Aiden rolled his eyes with a now amused smile.
"You didn't even give me a chance to argue." He complained half-heartedly.
Aiden suddenly stood up, and held out both of his hands to help his wife up.
"Now, do you want me to show you around or what?" He said, still smiling.
Stacey smiled and stood up.
"Yes I want you to show me around." She said. "And Id didn`t give you a chance to argue because I knew you would." She teased, her eyes flitting green for a moment.
Aiden smiled, and kissed her hand with a grin.
"Then lets go." He replied, walking into the kitchen.
The cabinets were a dark colored wood over a black topped counter. It was homey, and comfortable. Nothing too elaborate would be in this house. He pulled her along to a wooden door at the end of a long hallway.
"This is my room." He said with a smile.
Stacey looked around the kitchen with a sweeping glance. It was nice. Then they stopped at the door, and she smiled.
"Okay." She said softly, looking from the door to Aiden.
Aiden opened the door slowly, revealing a pretty small room. The walls were dark gray, almost black and a desk had a small old computer. The closet was to the left, and a three guitars stood in the corner of the room. The bed was small with a wooden frame, and a blacklight was on the wall.
"It's not much." He said with a roll of his eyes.
Stacey smiled and took a step into the room, leaning against the door frame. It was nice. What she had thought Aiden`s room would look like. It really represented him in a lot of ways.
"It suits you." She said as she squeezed his hand.
Aiden looked at the room, finding it plain as he always did. He shrugged her shoulders, but chuckled at her comment. He took her hand, and walked inside the room and closed the door behind him. He switched the switch to turn on the fan.
"So what, I'm plain and boring?" He said with a fake frown.
Stacey smiled, following him into the small room.
"No, you like the night. Dark walls. You were in a band and can play the guitars." She shrugged, still smiling, "It suits you." She repeated.
Aiden sat down on the corner of his bed. The floor creaked, but he barely made notice of it, he was used to the sound of the old wood floor. He sighed, looking around the familiar room.
"I hope thats a good thing." He replied, raising an eyebrow.
Stacey smiled again, standing in front of him.
"I would rather have a room that suits me than a designer room." She said, raising her own eyebrow.
Aiden gently reached forward and took both of Stacey's hands in his own. He swayed them back and forth slowly. He shrugged his shoulders, but smiled some.
"I'd trade you." He teased.
Aiden tilted his head to one side, looking up at her from his sitting position. "The rest of the house isn't much to look at either."
Stacey squeezed his hands.
"Aiden, my moon, not everyone has a freaking designer house. I really would rather be somewhere like here. Somewhere where you can know people, as friends, not just because you pay them." She said, looking at him.
Aiden looked down at the hands he held. Her hands were slightly colder than his, but he didn't mind, not one bit. He lifted his head to meet Stacey's eyes, grinning again.
"It gets boring out here trust me." He pointed out with a shrug. "It would have been cool if we lived near each other when we were younger, you know?" He said randomly.
Stacey laughed.
"Yeah, sure. Then we could`ve annoyed each other to death and we wouldn`t be here today." She teased, squeezing his hands as she looked down to his eyes.
Aiden chuckled at the thought of that. He shook his head.
"Then we wouldn't be here now. I wouldn't like that very much." He pointed out.
Stacey leaned forward until her forehead rested against his, puttign her hands on his shoulders.
"I wouldn`t like it either, so maybe it`s a good thing we haven`t annoyed each other that much." She teased.
Aiden grinned as Stacey's face was close to his. He looked at her eyes, watching the colors change.
"Me either. Well, at least I hope I don't annoy you."
"You don`t annoy me." She insisted, hooking her fingers together over the back of his neck.
"If anything, I`m amazed that I don`t annoy you." She said, grinning broadly.
Aiden grinned too, his teeth shining has he smiled brilliantly. His eyes gleamed brightly.
"You don't trust me. You're very interesting, and I find myself unable to get enough of you. You don't bore me." He pointed out,
"Well that`s good." She said teased, kissing him quickly. "Because you`re stuck with me."
She wrinkled her nose, her eyes swirling a playful purple.
Aiden's eyes brightened, half of his lips curved in a lively smile. He shook his head as if he was going to laugh.
"I'd rather be stuck with you than anyone else in the entire world." He pointed out, noticing the purple glow in her eyes.
Stacey grinned, her face still close to his.
"That`s good, because you are stuck with me. Just like I`m stuck with you." She placed her hand on his cheek.
Aiden lifted his hand, and took her hand that was on his cheek. He held it there, but squeezed it softly as he half-smiled.
"I wouldn't want it any other way." He said his tone serious yet happy.
Stacey smiled and squeezed his hand in reply.
"There doesn`t have to be another way." She replied, using the same tone he did.
Aiden pulled Stacey's hand so she would lean closer to him. He smiled playfully, his teeth shining in the dark room.
"I'm glad. Now, what do you think of the house so far?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.
Stacey smiled. When Aiden pulled her hand, she was all but leaning against him, her forhead still against his.
"The house is nice. Homey. Mush better than mine, in my opinion." It was her turn to raise an eyebrow, figuring Aiden would argue.
Aiden pursed his lips together, a smile glowing his eyes. In Stacey's eyes, he could see the look she had that he knew she predicted his next move.
"I like yours more." He pointed out quietly.
Stacey grinned broadly.
"You didn`t live there, basically under seige." She pointed out, using his same tone. She carefully pulled her fingers from his and looped her arms around his neck, running her hand through his soft hair.
Aiden pressed his lips together as the corner of his lips curved in a smile. He liked the soothing, comfortable feeling of Stacey's hands through his hair.
"True." He agreed, getting her point. "But you didn't live here in this small town where it's boring as hell." He pointed out.
Stacey smiled, continuing to run her fingers through his soft, dark hair.
"True," she said, using his words, "but you didn`t live under the constant stress of being perfect." She wrinkled her nose. Her mother had indeed pushed her to ehr limits at times, wanting her to be the perfect little girl.
Aiden's lips parted with a smile as his white teeth shined in the dim lighting.
"Well, I guess you're right about that. All of those classes have helped you know though, right?" He asked, a question in his eyes.
Stacey shrugged, playign with a chunk of his hair.
"I guess. Ballet and piano, calming. And all of the self defense and shooting ranges sure were helpfull." She grinned wickedly.
Aiden looked up at Stacey, watching her eyes.
"Which one was your favorite?" He asked her casually.
Stacey tilted her head, her fingers pausing in his hair.
"What, my favorite class? Probably ballet." She said, nodding ehr ehad to herself.
Aiden squeezed her hand gently without even thinking about it.
"Whats your favorite class here?" He asked, meaning Hogwarts.
Stacey smiled, realizing her mistake.
"Probably one of Ginny`s old classes elemental classes, really. I wish she hadn`t quit, but I understand why she did." She began to run her fingers through his hair again.
Aiden lowered his bright eyes down to their hands. He gently rubbed his thumb over her hand as he always did.
"Do you know if shes ever coming back?" He asked.
Stacey also looked down at their entwined hands.
"I don`t know. It doesn`t look like it." She frowed. "She was a really good teacher. Much better than the idiot they got to replace her." Her words were soft but sharp. The man who had taken Ginny`s spot was so incredibly different from her.
Aiden lifted his head up to look at Stacey's eyes.
"Whats the teacher's name?"
Stacey wrinkled her nose.
"Mr. Rossiter." She said sadly. "Stupid dingbat." She membled under her breath.
Aiden chuckled under his breath, a smile gradually spreading upon his face again.
""I'm guessing you don't like him?" He guessed, raising an eyebrow and flipping his dark hair out of his eyes.
Stacey smiled and pushed his hair back into his eyes.
"Got that right, baby." She teased him.
Aiden's body shook as his soft chuckle turned into a laugh. He looked at her through his black hair.
"I love you." He said through his laughter.
Stacey laughed then leaned forwards to kiss him slowly, making it last for than just a moment.
"I love you, too." she said after a moment with a grin.
Aiden used to fingers to rest under Stacey's chin as she kissed him for a moment.
"My most favorite words." He whispered.
Stacey grinned. "Mine too, my moon." She said, then kissed him again.
Aiden kissed her back softly, leaving his fingers rested under his chin. His eyes brightened under his closed eyelids, and he kissed her back until suddenly there was a knock at the door.
Stacey smiled as Aiden kissed her back. She kissed him back softly and teasingly, her eyes glowing a brilliant purple through her closed lids.
The knock on the door startled her, and she jerked back suddenly. opening her eyes. She smiled apologetically to Aiden and stepped over to his left so she was standing beside him instead of in front of him, quickly wiping her hand over her mouth.
Aiden couldn't help but grin a little at Stacey's reaction. His face grew hot with embarassement.
"Uhm, come in." He called after clearing his voice.
Ryan opened the door, and peeked his head through. He looked at the two of them, and chuckled.
"I wasn't interrupting anything was I?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.
Stacey smiled sweetly towards Ryan, then glance down at Aiden, lettign her eyes flash bright pink as she blushed.
"Not really." She said to Aiden`s uncle, looking back at him and smiling. Her eyes shifted quickly, from lime green to electric blue and back. She lowered her hand and took Aiden`s, twining her fingers through his.
Aiden gave Stacey a small smile as he watched her eyes shift between the different colors, the most noticable one being pink. Aiden turned his head to his uncle.
"Whats up?" He asked.
Ryan looked at the both of them suddenly feeling embarassed even if he shouldn't.
"I was actually wanting to show the both of you something." He pointed out in his deep husky voice.
Stacey`s smiled again.
"That`s too kind of you." She argued, just like she would have for Aiden.
((I totally forgot what he was going to give them. >.<))
Ryan grinned a teethy smile at both of them, and nodded. He bent down and walked through the archways toward the living room.
Aiden turned to Stacey, a crease in his forehead.
"That wasn't awkward at all" He noted, standing up.
Stacey laughed softly, slipping her hand in his.
"And it was bound to happen." She mumbled, pulling Aiden after his uncle.
Aiden squeezed her hand gently without even having to think about it. Being around Stacey was as easy as breathing. It had always been.
"True." He noted, pulling Stacey along into the living room.
Ryan sat on the couch. His long muscular arms were crossed in front of his chest, the sleeve-less dark colored shirt revealed the tan skin on his big arms. He had a grin on his face, making his eyes squint.
"Well, I figured I'd wait until y'all were leaving, but I couldn't wait." He began.
Aiden suddenly grinned, and chuckled..
"You've never been patient." He replied, cutting him off.
Stacey smiled and rolled her eyes, stopping a few feet from Ryan. He was sitting on the couch, where they had been sitting before, so she didn`t know where to sit.
"You don`t have room to talk." She teased Aiden, squeezing his hand back without noticing that she had.
Ryan narrowed his eyes, and shook his head with an amused glow in his light colored blue eyes.
"And you're never patient enough to let me finish a sentence." He shot back with a laugh.
Ryan then turned his head, and nodded his head to Stacey in thanks.
"Finally someone who's on my side."
Aiden rolled his eyes, but a hint of a smile still shown on his face.
"As I was saying." Ryan began slowly. "Obviously when I knew Stacey was coming I wanted to do something special for you two since I know how much you two mean to each other."
Ryan slowly began to tilt his head to one side in the same usual habit his nephew had. He looked at Aiden.
"Your aunt came by a few weeks before y'all came out here. She wanted me to give you something."
Ryan slowly stood up, and grabbed a box that stood by the fireplace.
"She said to wait and open it when you two get back. Although, I'm sure she won't mind if you open here, just wait until later maybe." He finished, implying he wasn't supposed to know what was inside.
Stacey smiled as Ryan nodded towards her. Her blue eyes sparkled faintly. It was odd that Ryan hadn`t said anything about them changing yet. As he held out the box, Stacey glanced up at Aiden, pursing her lips together as she smiled. She slowly reached out her hand and took the small box.
"Thank you." She told Ryan. "Tell his aunt that I said thank you, too. It was very kind of her." She said, looking up at Ryan with purple eyes. Really, Aiden`s aunt hadn`t even met her and she was giving her something. The fact that Ryan didn`t know what it was made her want to rip it open and see what it was, but she didn`t, of course.
Ryan nodded at Stacey and grinned. It wasn't until she looked at him again that he noticed her purple eyes, which were just blue moments ago. He looked at her curiously, but didn't mention it just yet.
Aiden looked at the small box, and tilted his head. He smiled a little.
"I haven't talked to her in ages." He noted aloud. "I wonder what it is."
Stacey glanced up to Aiden when he spoke, her eyes locking with Ryan`s when he noticed their color change. She smiled at him knowingly and they flickered to a lime green, although he wouldn`t know what it meant.
"You know, you said Aiden`s never patient, but trust me, I`m sure he`d gladly tell you that I`m worse." She said, squeezing Aiden`s hand.
Aiden laughed, and nudged her side gently with a large, playful smile. He looked up at Stacey, and shook his head.
"But you are." He protested, suddenly sounding childish.
Ryan pursed his lips together, and blinked.
"Sorry about asking, but your eyes change?" He asked suddenly.
"I'm sorry if I sounded rude." He added quickly.
Stacey turned to face Ryan, smiling.
"I was wondering when you would notice." She giggled. "I was afraid to let them change at first, because I didn`t know if it would freak you out." She rolled her eyes at herself. "But yes, they change. Any color, any pattern." As she said it, her eyes flickered from red to orange to green to blue and back, running through a whole range of colors.
Ryan watched her eyes change colors. Not having ever been to Hogwarts, he hadn't seen many things magical, which included the changing of eye colors. However, even Aiden's eyes were limited to brown, gold, and black.
"Can you change them any color?" Ryan asked in his deep, husky voice.
Stacey smiled.
"Yep, anything. Different colors for both eyes, stripes, dots, stars... you name it." She grinned, her eyes flashing back to blue.
Ryan nodded, intrigued. He watched her eyes for a few half moments before looking at the clock. He made a face at the time on the wall.
"Well, I have work in a half hour. You two can find something to eat on your own right?" He asked, his voice doubtful.
Aiden rolled his eyes.
"Yeah. You forget I'm not a kid anymore." He pointed out, an annoyed but playful edge in his tone.
Ryan chuckled, and nodded once more.
"Well, maybe if you acted more like it I wouldn't forget so easily." He explained.
He walked up to Stacey, and held out his hand.
"It was a pleasure to meet you. I'm sorry I couldn't stay longer, but duty calls."
Stacey grinned and shook Ryan`s hand firmly.
"It was so nice to meet you, too. I`m glad I finally got to meet some of Aiden`s family. And don`t worry about him, I`ll take care of him." She tilted her head and looked up at Aiden, her eyes switching to a teasing purple.
Aiden smiled, and winked playfully at Stacey. He then looked at Ryan, and lifted his head.
"See ya." He called.
Ryan waved once, and retreated into the other room. It wasn't until a few moments later he returned, and left through the front door.
Aiden sighed, and his eyes got wide.
"I'm glad that's over." He said with an over-dramatic look.
"Why?" Stacey asked, letting go of his hand to cradle the little box in her hands.
"Do you know what it is?" She asked curiously, wondering if he would know.
Aiden shrugged his shoulders as if he didn't have a definite answer. He looked at the box that she held in her hands.
"I was just nervous about you meeting him is all." He replied.
Aiden slowly ran his fingers over the box.
"No idea. I'm surprised he didn't mention anything about it in his letters." He pointed out thoughtfully.
((I made them fit. XD ))
Stacey smiled. "Why? He was nice, and I liked him. I didn`t freak him out, did I?" She asked softly. "And he probably wanted it to be a surprise. Do you want to open it?" She asked, holding the box out.
((Your siggy?))
Aiden lifted his eyes from the box, and looked at Stacey eyes. He shook his head, and smiled. Seemed to him that his uncle liked her.
"I think he liked you. So don't worry about freaking him out. I don't think you did at all." He replied.
He took the box in one hand. He was tempted to shake the box to see what was inside, but decided against it.
"I'm thinking about waiting until later at least, unless you want to?"
Stacey grinned and started to bounce up and down on the balls of her feet.
"How much later is later?" She asked softly, lifting her lime green eyes to meet his.
Aiden laughed at her obvious impatient excitement. He took one both of Stacey's hand and held them both in one his hands. He brought them to his lips and kissed her finger softly.
"Tonight?" He promised.
"Okay. I can wait that long." Stacey said. She wanted to know what it was, but she could wait. She squeezed Aiden`s hands gently.
"So, what now? Ryan left, so do we stay or go?" She asked, tilting her head. They had come specifically to see his uncle, and she didn`t know what there was in this small town.
Aiden shrugged his shoulders, thinking of something to do. There wasn't much to do in town, thanks to living in a rural area. He shrugged his shoulders again.
"I'm not sure. What would you like to do?"
Stacey shrugged, taking the little box carefully and looking at the outside of it. It wasn`t anything fancy. Just a normal little box.
"I`m fine with staying here with you, if that`s okay, unless you want to go back to Hogsmead." She suggested.
Aiden tilted his head, thinking of something to do. When he lived here his life pretty much consisted of routine. It wasn't until he had received his letter to Hogwarts that his life became different.
He sighed, his mind drawing blanks.
"I really don't know." Aiden paused, rubbing the back of his neck.
"I suppose I could show you around town, but there isn't much to see. Or we could just stay here."
Stacey smiled, stroking his hand.
'I`m fine with staying here with you, too." She said, tilting her head.
((YaY! Short posts!))
Aiden lifted his head, and looked around the room. The fireplace was still burning dimly which made the room dimly lit, but it was comfortable.
Aiden looked to Stacey, his eyes meeting hers.
"Are you hungry? I can make you something." He offered.
Stacey shook her head, still smiling.
"I was fine when Ryan asked me, and I`m fine now." She replied, her eyes flickering and interesting grey. Her eyes scanned around the room, enjoying the fact that she was actually here.
Aiden frowned at his own forgetfullness. He looked around the room, and sat down on the couch next to the fireplace. He rested his elbow on his knees and sighed.
He looked up to Stacey.
"I never thought that I'd actually see you in my own living room." Aiden pointed out suddenly with an peculiar grin.
Stacey grinned and sat down beside Aiden, resting her hand on his knee.
"Well, you better believe it, because I`m here, and I`m not going anywhere." She said, resting her head against his shoulder.
Aiden leaned back, and he rested one of his legs on the coffee table in front of him. He ran his hand through Stacey's hair to rest on her shoulder and wrap around her.
He looked around the room, his brown eyes a light gold color.
"Well, how long would you like to stay? I'm making this up to you." Aiden pointed out.
Stacey shrugged under Aiden`s arm, snuggling into him.
"I don`t know. How long do you want to stay? Will Ryan be freaked out if we leave, or if we stay?" She asked her eyes resting on the fireplace.
She loved this house. She didn`t know why. This house just seemed so... homey. Not full of material items.
