Dark was falling and Ginny lifted her head off her desk. She quickly shoved the book she had been reading closed and stod, stretching her arms above her head. She sighed, rubbing her eys and checking the clock.
"Sirius should be here soon..." She said to herself.
*sirius had just turned the corner then stopped and breathed. this was, surprisingly enough, his first detention with ginny. he looked at the darkening sky and walked up to ginny's door, he was for some reason nervous but luckily not scared. he knocked and waited.*
"Come in." Ginny said, hurridly trying to pull papers over the title of the book she had been reading.
*sirius opened the door and walked in, looking at Ginny acting as though he could care less about everything.*
"Alright, come with me, Sirius." Ginny said, nodding a little and leading him out of the office. As soon as he was out she locked the door with a key, then looked at him.
"I think you're going to write lines..." She said, musing, "To be truthful, I haven't decided what you'll be doing."
*sirius supressed a smile.* leave it to you to not know what to do. *he walked along with her.*
Ginny shrugged, "It an old habit of mine." She retorted, not looking at him. She rubbed the back of her neck then snapped her fingers.
"I've got it. Follow me." She began to head up the stairs closest to her.
*sirius sighed.* yay... *he muttered and followed her.*
She led him up to the Astronamy tower, where telescopes sat on all sides of the tower.
"You get to clean these, without magic." She told him, glaning up at the sky.
*sirius smiled.* way to take the fun out of life. *he walked over to a corner and found a bucket in the corner filled with water and soap.* ha, lucky me. *he said before walking over to the first one, peaking through the telescope and seeing fingerprints and other things all over it that first years must have been careless enough to not care about. he began cleaning the telescopes. it went faster then he thought, a few of them had some murky brown stuff that he didn't know and didn't want to know what it was. it didn't come off until he finally scraped it off with his fingers. but, with his fingernails brown and his hands allclamy from the water, after about a half an hour of finger cramping cleaning. sirius was finished.*
Ginny had been sitting on the ledge, her feet hanging out over. She leaned back on her hands, turning to face him.
"All done?" She asked, smiling at him now. She had pulled a sweatshirt on over her t-shirt, and it was too big on her, but she didn't mind. Her hair was down, keeping her ears warm against the fall night, and now she looked mor like the teenager she ws then the teacher she had to be.
*sirius put the bucket back in its corner.* that wasn't the first time i had to clean those...after about three times it gets easier. *he walked up beside her...*
"You can go back to your common room if you'd like. There's no need for me to have you finish all the work I can think of tonight. You have a month..." She shrugged, then looked up at the sky, the moon and stars lighting up her eyes as she smiled.
"I'm going to hang out up here for a bit longer, though."
*sirius sighed, then looked at the telescope nearest him.* would you mind if i examined the stars a little? *he asked her. he didn't have very special powers at a lot of things. but one thing he could do was read stars allignments pretty good. he was always amazing at astronomy and it was his favorite subject. well tied with DADA of course.*
"Do what you want. Your detention is over for tonight." She told him, glancing at hm for a moment, then hugging herself.
allright then..*sirius said before rmoving the cap from the lense and adjusting the it. he scanned the sky, it was beautiful tonight. he looked at the moons and there positions with interest and tried to figure out what they all meant. he couldn't find much and he couldn't figure out why. then he saw ginny out of the corned of his eye and smiled. he wasn't good at reading the stars and planets when there were others. he didn't say anything though, he liked the company.*
"See anything interesting?" She asked, glancing at him with a smirk.
"Neptune is a little to the left tonight. Unusual."
*sirius looked to the left and spotted neptune's postition.* yes that is quite unusual...*he looked a few paces to the east of the planet though and figured out the reason.* ha, i see the problem. one of its moons has some how gotten out of its normal path and its pushing the planet farther to the left. that's very interesting. *sirius muttered.* danger in the skys could possibly lead to an unearthly suprise *sirius chanted what his old centaur friend ramasese had once said.*
"very good." Ginny said, clapping her hands and smiling.
"A centaur's rhyme even." She laughed lightly.
*sirius looked at ginny and smiled.* i try i try. *he said bowing. then he put the cover back on the telescope and walked over to ginny and looked at the ground below.*
Angel was trotting around outside of Ginny's office in circles waiting for anyone to come out.
She laughed, "You should try that hard in class. Or to hold in your temper. Not that I'm one to speak." She shook her head, smirking.
She too looked at the ground, then back up into the sky, then out across the grounds.
*sirius laughed and sat on the edge, his back to the forest. he looked at ginny.* well then i guess we both need to work on that. *he placed his hands on the stone wall steadying himself so he wouldn't fall.*
Angel sat down waiting patiently in front of the door.
Ginny nodded, "I've gotten better then I used to be." She told him, truthfully.
*sirius smiled* and ironically enough, it seems like i've gotten worse. interesting how that happens.
"The anger has to go somewhere." She said, rolling her shoulders.
Angel had gotton tired of waiting and slowly pushed the door open with her nose.
(Just so you know, we arn't there...)
yea...and its just that draco is jsut the one little thing that will set me off every time... *sirius said gazing at the moon.*
"Gets on my nerves too." She said, truthfully.
(Yeah I know your somewhere in a high up place looking through telescopes or something..)

Ginny sighed, looking at the sky with wonder, "You know, Centurs say you can predict the futur by reading the stars. I was never able to do it very well. But I've never needed to."
She sighed, smiling slightly at him, "Knowing possible futures takes away the spontanouseness of life. I never act on my whims anymore." She closed her eyes, thinking softly to herself.
"Wish I did sometimes."
*sirius looked at the stars.* ya...i can predict the future through changes in my life. whenever something big happens they all change there courses. it seems like i can only see or read the future when something big like that happens. other times...its only mear coinsidences that i can read them.
Ginny smiled slightly, "I have seen many diffrent ways our futures can be. And I'm constantly trying to pick the best one." She kept her eyes closed, rolling her head around to stretch her neck.
((am i supposed to have detentio right now as well??))

*sirius sighed just as a bug happened to fly into his mouth. he lost his grip on the wall and almost fell, but catching himself at the last minute with his feet.*
Ginny snickered, "You ok?" She asked him.
*sirius lay hanging there with only his feet supporting him.* i meant to do that. *he said laughing lightly and trying to sit back up. but he found it very hard.* uh, now i could use a little help. *he smiled, blushing.*

Draco, without knocking, angrily barges into the room for his detention.. "I'm here for my....What are you doing?" Draco asked curiously.

(just making sure) Angel snarled and advanced more. She let out a loud deep bark.
Ginny took her hand back and smiled at him, "You need a better sense of balance, Sirius." She told him.

"Uh..right. I'll just be..going!" Draco said,as he ran out of the room.
Angel raced after him snapping at his heels.
*sirius laughed and wiped off his shoe that had gotten sut or something on it from clenching to the brick wall.*
Draco sped up and ran all the away up to the tower where Sirius and Ginny were.
Ginny spun around as Draco entered with Angel chasing him. She turned her legs and stood, sighing.
"Both of you, stop."
Angel skidding to a stop nearly bowling over Ginny.
Ginny put both hands up and Angel smashed into an invisable wall a mere foot away from Ginny.
Draco (surprisingly) did as he was told and stopped.
Angel ran into the wall and backed up looking at Ginny. She then trotted around the wall and behind Ginny.
Ginny gave Angel a slight glare, and Draco one for good measure before she asked the most obvious question, "What the hell is going on here?"
*sirius laughed lightly at draco's stupid look. then he saw angel. he smiled and jumped off the wall.* hey there angel...
Angel happily walked over to Sirius.
Draco dropped his jaw slightly and angrily crossed his arms.
Angel completely ingored Draco and just lay down on the ground and yawned.
"Is anyone going to tell me what happened?" She asked, looking right at Draco.
Angel was happy for once she didn't have to explain anything. Dogs couldn't talk.

*sirius looked up at draco.* ya ya big prick. what did you do to make angel chase after you? *he scratched angel's ears smiling at her.*
"Me? What did I do to that..that mutt?!? " Draco said, angrily.
"That's exactly what I was asking." Ginny said, flustered.
"I did nothing!" Draco said, rather offended.
"Well, okay. But what happened?" She asked.
"Well, I was reporting to your office for my..regrettable..detention. And this..this mangy mutt was in there messing with stuff on your desk," Draco said, rather calmly.
At this, Ginny's eyes looked to Angel with a touch of surprise, "What?" She said.
Angel tipped her head to one side and looked back at Ginny intently.
"Its the truth. That mutt is nothing but trouble," Draco sneered.
Ginny's face paled, as it had a habit of doing lately, "And did the dog take anything?" She asked Draco, obviously highly upset.
Angel barked loudly and snarled at Draco.
Natalie slammed the door on her way in. This is stupid she thought angrily. She slammed her potion books on the desk. Then she plopped into her chair and layed back. She stared at the teacher with an evil glare. i could totally kill that teacher right now she thought.

"Well..uh..I didnt notice. I mean, the way the dog was sniffing around it could have very easily taken something. Why do you ask?!?" Draco replied.
"No reason..." Ginny said slowly, "I think it's about time you lot went to bed...."
*sirius was suspicious at ginny's reactions. he could tell she was hiding something, something important. he jumped off the ledge and, still staring at her, walked to the door. he was trying to sense something in her face that was different, he could tell something was going on that she didnt want people to know about but he didn't worry himself to much. if it was somethging that she was keeping from the students then maybe its...oh he didn't know. he sighed.* ya i guess your right...come on angel.
Angel sat down and stayed. As if she wanted to show Sirius something when Ginny wasn't around.
Ginny rolled her shoulders, "Just don't stay up here too late. If another teacher catches you, the detention excuse works for only a half hour after lights out." She said, glancing at them all once, then slipping through the door back into the school.
She shivered, rubbing her arms and walking down the steps quickly.
"Well obviously that mutt has something to show you. Maybe I should...stick around for a while. You know, just to make sure nothing's up," Draco sneered.
Angel snarled at Draco and started to advance on him as if warning him to leave.
"H..hey! Watch it! I have a wand!" Draco shouted, pulling out his wand and backing away slightly.
Ginny practically ran down the steps, her sneakers making a muffled thump as she ran. She hoped that dog didn't get her book, or mess with anything. She had spent alot of time reaserching things.
angel kept getting closer then jumped at Draco taking his wand from his hand.
*sirius pracitcally jumped on angel. he wrapped his arm around her neck not to tightly, but tight enough to keep her in place. he had his wand pointed at draco.* you touch her and you have to face me.
Angel was starteled as Sirius practically jumped on her but she stayed still.
"Wow, Sirius. You do seem to be a little over protective of that mangy mutt. But I must say..its a step up from Sarah," Draco smirked, as he continued to back away still.
*sirius's eyes flashed red. he stood and put a charm on angel's tail. it practically melted in the ground. it wouldnt hurt her, but it would keep her in place. he stood and placed his wand harshly at draco's neck.*
Angel started to go into a frenzy of barking. She realized she couldn't get free of the charm and finally calmed down a little still staring st Draco.
"W..Whoa. Chill out!" Draco said, voice shaking from fear as he tried to back away still.
Angel smirked a smirk of content as she lay down.
*sirius glared at him.* never insult her again.
Angel was becoming frustrated. She started to pull at her tail until it was free.
angel! *sirius said to her.* stay there. just let me handel him.
Angel stayed where she was but a look of discontent crossed her face and she wouldn't meet Sirius' eyes.
"N..no! There's no need for anyone to..handle...me," Draco said quivering.
Angel barked as Draco became even more scared.
*sirius growled. then ginny's picture popped into his head. he closed his eyes and sighed. he opened them and looked into draco's eyes.* you know, if it weren't for the fact that i would probably get into more trouble by ginny then you wouldn't be walking down these steps without a scratch on your face. *he said to him with a whisper that could stop the wind in its flow.*
Angel couldn't wait any longer she stood up and started at run towards Draco.
*sirius turned and gasped as angel came running toward sirius. one problem, sirius was in front of draco. so if angel wanted draco, sirius was in the clear way. but he didn't move, instead he backed up so that there was no way that she could get to draco.*
Draco was perplexed. "Wh..what are you doing? Why arent you letting her attack me?"
*sirius snarled.* truth is, i hate you...obviously. but if her hurting you means you tattle and get her in trouble then personally i'd rather have her attack me then you because i'll have the decisny to take it like a man and not do anything. *sirius said glaring at angel.(hit me angel hit me!)*
"What? Is that all? Well, move! I can take her," Draco shouted angrily, as he jumped out from behind Sirius to face Angel.
Angel stopped and her neck fur stood on end snarling,
*Sirius jumped this time in front of Angel. trying to calm her, he started running his fingers through her hair. it was dangorous and sirius knew this to be messing with an angry dog.*
Angel wriggled away from Sirius and closer to Draco. She snarled ficiously completely out of character.
"Come and get me, you mangy mutt! But when my father hears about this, trust me, both of you will be out of here. I'll make sure of it," Draco smirked, although the fear was obvious in his voice.
*Sirius swallowed. he knew what Lucious could do, and he obviously wasn't on good tirms with him at all so even this would set Lucious on a rage. he ran to Angel.* stop it! *he tried to call her off.*
Angel growled again but heard Sirius and didn't quite claw Draco's eyes out.
Angel! come on, he's not worth your expulsion from here! lets just...lets just go! *Sirius said to the dog.*
Angel backed off but didn't leave.
Draco smirked and continued to stand there as well.
Angel was getting very annoyed. Dogs couldn't use wands, she was just about ready to turn into Mira in front who cares who. Just so she could use Crucio on Draco.
*Sirius was truely afraid for Draco and afraid of Angel. he stood frozen.* Angel, if you wont do it for the school..*he paused* then do it for me. i dont want draco getting hurt or you being expelled...so please....please Angel.
Angel let out a snort of discontent, but sat down relaxing her muscles under her pelt.
*Sirius breathed heavily and relaxed.* come on girl, you wanna go get ice cream or something?
"Yeah like you actually care about me getting hurt. Like this mutt could do any harm to me anyway," Draco sneered, voice shaking slightly.
*Sirius knew that would make Angel crack. so he grabbed her and apparated to his common room before she could do anything.*
"I knew it. Cowards," Draco thought aloud, as he left and headed towards the Slytherin Common Room.
Angel snarled and broke free of Sirius. On her way she snagged an invisible cloak laying on the ground and flung in over her body racing to the Slytherin common room, right where she knew Draco wouls be. As she arrived she made her pawsteps silent and being hidden under the cloak she knew Draco wouldn't know what hit him.
OH S***!!!!!!!!! *Sirius screamed before running after her...knowing where she would be, just not knowing how to grab her.*
Angel ducked into a corner looking for Draco.
Draco walked into the Slytherin Common Room, looking for Crabbe and Goyle. But seeing as they were no where to be found, he sat down on a couch. "Ugh, where are those two oafs?!?" he mumbled angrily aloud.
Angel saw Draco and slowly stalked over to him.
Draco continued to sit there on the couch, waiting on Crabbe and Goyle to return from wherever..
*Sirius snuck into the Slytherin common and hid behind a statue, watching Draco and the other Slitherins.*
Angel's tail hung out giving away her stealth, although it was facing away from Draco.
"Ugh! This is getting ridiculous!" Draco moaned, as he stood up from the couch and began to walk towards the door.
Angel sprang at Draco's leg and bit down as hard as she could then ran away.
*Sirius felt a whisp of air run past him and he knew it was Angel. he grabbed her miraculously and held tight.*
Angel yelped and started to wriggle thinking it was Draco.
"Ow!" Draco shouted, looking down at his leg. Then, looking up, noticed Sirius. "Wh..what are you doing in here?!?" he said, angrily.
Angel slid out of the invisibility cloak leaving Sirius with nothing. She looked at Draco her head tipped to one side.
Draco looked behind him to see that all of his fellow Slytherins had, by this point, left the Common Room. He then turned back to see Angel. "You! You mutt! You bit me!" he shouted angrily.
Angel looked at him with a very perfected look of inocence.
Draco rolled his eyes. "Oh, dont give me that look!"
Angel didn't change her look at all.
*Sirius growled and through it over himself, turning into Snuffles. he stood in front of Angel like an invisible shield so she couldn't get to draco.*
Angel almost snarled. Not quite though.
Draco simply smirked and returned to the couch.
Angel knew she was even. The bite she delivered was really nasty.
*Snuffles growled at Mira and pushed her backwords, trying to get her out of the common room.*
Angel turned and went ahead of Sirius so he didn'y have to push her.
*Snuffles followed her.*
"Freaks," Draco sneered, as he looked down at his injured leg.
Angels ears perked up as she heard Draco. She stopped in her tracks.
*this time Snuffles's eyes' widened. he turned, whipping the invisibilty cloak off and turning into Sirius. it was his turn to get a piece of Draco.*
Angel resisted to turn into Mira. She wanted this a secret for as long as she could keep it.
"Oh..I cannot wait to tell my father about this! He'll be furious!" Draco said, rather happily.
*Sirius glared at him, all senses of intelligence and conciousness leaving him. he glared at Malfoy, raising his wand.*
Angel had a sudden look of worry. She knew Snuffles could scratch and bite but Sirius with a wand... She ran over and started to pull on the pants of Sirius.

Angel backed up out of reach and bounced side to side playfully before backing towards the door more until there was a 12 foot gap between he and Sirius.
*Sirius stood glaring at her.* Angel, I'm serious. give me my wand...or...*he thought for a moment.* I'll tell Draco right now what you are...
(like as in I'm Mira?)

*Sirius looked at Draco annoyed, he shot his wand at Draco making bubbles come slowly out of his mouth. enough to get discusted but not enough to harm him.*
Draco's face twisted as he wiped the bubbles from from his mouth. "Ugh..thats disgusting!"

"And when I am this pissed it would be wise to fear me!" Mira wasn't toying and her eyes were fluttering white as they normally do when she uses a large amount of power. She fought to keep herself under control but her anger was winning.
*Sirius placed his hand on Mira's shoulder firmly but like a friend would. he saw that look in her eyes and knew it wasn't good.* come on, let's just go.
*he had saved an enemy from the rath of Ginny before and had gotten himself almost killed... if Mira was anything like Ginny, which Sirius figured she was, then Sirius wasn't quite in the mood to get his butt kicked for saving someone like Draco.*
*he would of course step in if needed though he really didn't want to.*
