Kevin went into the hogs head and sat down, ordering a drink. He was feeling very sad today, he had just gotton a letter from his parents. His friend from home had been in an accident and wasn't expected to live through the night.
Walking into the pub, Isabelle noticed a boy looking very sad. "Hello, what's your name? Mine is Isabelle Xantier. What's the matter?" says Isabelle.
Niles was sitting in the corner, as usual, he noticed a boy and girl talking, the girls name was Isabelle, as he over heard
"Hey, my names Niles" he didn't know why he said that, but he was depressed and was looking for a good conversation
"Hello, are you Niles that used to date Stacey?" asks Isabelle.
"Ya that's me" Niles said unenthusiastically
"Oooo, sorry, I had to know. Stacey is gonna be surprised that you came back. You should of seen her when you left. She cried a lot, and then she recently broke up with her old boyfriend and is now dating someone else." says Isabelle smiling.
Niles looked at the ground "I know, but she doesnt want anything to do with me, so Im trying to cheer my
self up, I hope you can help me with that' Niles said, he managed a faint smirk
Bucky came to hogs head for his date with Isabelle half an hour late he noticed her talking to a boy, he walked up to her and said a plain "Hey".
"Its gonna be okay! hey Bucky!" says Isabelle
Niles noticed the new encounter "Hi, Im niles" He said smiling
"G'day nice to meet you my name's Bucky" Bucky told Niles putting his hand out to shake.
Niles studied him for a moment, then exstended his hand and shook it "So, ummmm whats going on?"
"Meaning?" asked Bucky not quite sure what Niles meant.
Niles looked at him frustrated "Tell me about your self" Niles said in a kind voice this time
Stacey ran through the chilly night air, trying to find shelter from the ice cold drizzle. She wrapped her coat around her a little tighter and ran in the Hog`s Head door, and instantly wished she hadn`t. She would have sensed him from fifty feet away, as ling as he was in the same room or just a wall away. As she stepped inside, she turned on her heel, considering leaving, but she knew that Niles would sense her just as she had sensed him.
Niles sences tingled "Is ok, how are you?" he said
"Life's good but your hair is raising high is there a reason for that" Bucky asked Niles.
"I have a feeling, I know why. Look over there." says Isabelle pointing in Stacey's direction.
Niles Looked nervously, he was in for a long talk.
Stacey sighed, feeling Niles`s eyes on her back, and she turned back around to face the small group. She gave a small, half-hearted, and almost bitter wave.
"Why do you consist on avoiding me, but I don't care. Don't even talk to me then" Niles said to Stacey angrily.
Stacey narrowed her eyes, not caring that they flashed red for the shortest second. "At least I`m not the masochist that keeps moping all day instead of doing something with their life." She replied bitterly.
Niles was surprised he did everything "Ya nothing with my life, I mean I just destroyed tons deatheaters, seeked out different kinds of creatures, and traveled across the world"
Isabelle was listening to them argue and heard Niles say "Ya nothing with my life, I mean I just destroyed tons deatheaters, seeked out different kinds of creatures, and traveled across the world." and she burst out saying "I wanna travel the world and seek out different creatures!" and then she just sunk back into her chair.
Stacey ignored Isabelle. "And looking for someone who`s already dead." She countered. "Do you know what I`ve done with my life. The simple task of moving doesn`t mean you did something with your life. I`m getting married, Niles." Her eyes and voice softened.
Niles was so frustrated, but he couldn't help laughing at Isabelles remark "yes, the regular dream, get married, have kids, and DIE! that's what you have going. I would kill myself if I had to live like that" Niles was sorry for arguing with her, but it was the only way to get his point across.
Tears welled up in Stacey`s eyes. He had besically just said that he would rather die than be with anyone his whole life. "What is yor point?" She asked, her voice cracking. "Becasue if your point isn`t that you want to die alone, then you`re not making yourself very clear." She couldn`t meet his eyes.
"What if one day, you die in your sleep. Your husband was already up, and at the store getting food, you'll be alone. What if I'm with my friends in Asia, and we are fighting for you, I get blown away near my friend, I die with some one" Niles thought it was a clever point
Stacey blinked back her tears. "See, I think you have it backwards. I would much rather die at home, knowing my husband loved me, than to be blown up is some distant country."
