Sarah was sitting on one of the tree limbs. She was used to being alone lately. She never saw any of her friends. She knew that was because of the fact that her and Siruis had gotten a divorce and it was tearing her apart.
"Why is it that the happy couple is the ones that can not stay together. I mean I miss him turely but I miss my friends that I don't see more." She let a tear fall as she started to think on what to do.
Sky landed on a tree limb beside Sarah's. She had been relaxing at the top of the tree, enjoying the view. "Sometimes things don't work out. Sometimes they do. And maybe they'll work out later." She said. "And if it helps, I'll be your friend." She said gently with a smile.
She looked at Sky and smiled. "Well thanks for that. I mean I want you as a friend."
She then looked away. "even though I am old enough to be your mother."
Sky laughed. "Friends come in all shapes and sizes, ages and races. It's fine." She sighed. "So if you miss them so much, why don't you go see them?" She asked curiously. She put one of her hands on the branch above her so she didn't lose her balance.
"well one of them would never want to see me. I mean come on we got a divorce. We normally only see each other for our kids sakes." She thought about Siruis. The then started to think of all her other friends those were harder to figure out though.
"Well I guess some of them it is because of the whole break up thing. Then some of this it just because they are just so busy. I mean they havve jobs at the ministry. I work at a shop and teach part time. "
"Make a trip to the ministry on your days off. It'll work out." Sky said, suggestively.
"Well I might. I don't even know if they still work there though. I mean it have been a while." Sarah smiled she liked talking to this girl.
"Well..." Sky started. "You'll never know until you go." She grinned. She made a rhyme. "Don't worry. I promise you'll find them."
"okay I guess you are right. Maybe later though. I mean I have to teach kids like you magical creatures and flying." She smiled she was happy.
"Okie dokie. And hey! I'm not a good. I'm an adult. I'm 17." She stuck her tongue out at her and jumped down a branch.
"oh I am sorry." She then smiled and thought. "what you doing at the school then. That confuseing."
Sky looked up at Sarah. "Oh sorry. I forgot to say that this is my seventh year."
She smiled. "oh okay that fine. I mean I have seen some 7th years thought that could not fly a broom." She then laughed as she thoughts about her ex-husband he was one of the worse.
"Haha." Sky laughed. "I know what you mean. The Quidditch Season stinks because of that." She said. Sky was actually pretty good with a broom, but she decided to give up on Quidditch a long time ago. Now she only spectated.
Bucky heard them talking went up to his mother and said "I don't get it why did you and dad broke-up you're so perfecto for eachother"
Sarah smiled at the girl. "I used to play for the school. They lost by one game. We rocked though." She then looked at Bucky has he came up. "Some we just were not meant to be together. That all."
Sarah liked the Sky girl. "so Sky what you want to be when you get out of here."
Sky shrugged. "You know, I've thought about this a lot. I considered a muggle job, but what I really want to do is play guitar for people. To travel around the world, visiting places and singing for people." She said with a small smile. "But that's crazy and very unlikely. Even in the magical world."
Sarah looked at the girl. "Don't say that. I mean I did not really know what I wanted to be. All I knew what that I wanted to have to do with animals. I told my friends and they bought the shop that I used to own."
Sarah then smiled. "So anything is possible just have to wait and see."
"I suppose." Sky said. "If I don't do music or get a muggle job, I still want to travel on foot. Maybe by broom." She looked at the castle, which seemed fairly distant and smaller from here. "I want to see so many different things...places. Like the mountains or those huge parks that catch on fire every so often."
She smiled. "Ya your one of those that don't care what they get as long as they get to travel. "
She then laughed. "I think I would not mind staying put."
Sky grinned. "Yupp. I've been locked up all my life. My parents loved to travel. They said they would take me to the Rocky's in America when I was older. That was when I was six...but they died." She looked down at the ground. "So when I graduate, that's the first trip I have to make."
She smiled. "Hey if you don't want to go alone. I just thought you should know. I will go with you. I not big on traveling but I know doing stuff that you were suppose to do with your family is hard. I want to help."
She looked at the girl she would help her how every she could.
"Can I skip staying with dad for summer and come with you" said Bucky
"O' ha stace why you talkin' to my mum" Bucky said
Sarah looked at him. "Well I guess. I mean I don't think your father would mind 1 summer. I mean it just going to be working around here. Then making some other trips places. I mean I sold the shop."
She smiled at her son. "that not stace."
"Sure! That would be really cool." Sky smiled. Sarah had a motherly feeling about her and it made Sky feel kinda happy. "But you don't have to if you don't want to." She said, not wanting her to feel obligated.
"Please do" said Bucky
Sarah smiled walking over and hugging the girl. "It would be my honor to go with you. Besides I would get me away from the school."
"So I can come to" said Bucky hopefully
She looked at him. "I mean maybe. It all depends on Sky. I mean this is sort of personal for her so I don't want a little slime ball messing it up."
She was talking about her son being the slime ball.
"Heh that was uncalled for,besides me and Sky go way back" Said Bucky
Sky laughed. "I believe we've only just met. I know James, but I don't recall seeing you until a few days ago." She grinned. "My apologies." Sky then looked at Sarah. "Thank you Sarah. It...it really means a lot. And you both are welcome to come. But keep in mind, it's a year away. Who knows what will be going on."
"I know just trying to presude her and you" said Bucky
