Haley was reading her Astronomy textbook on a park bench.She was really intrigued, not only by her textbook but by the weather and how the leaves were changing and so was she. Her hair was going from blond to brown,( her hair changes as she gets older).
Stacey appeared suddenly behind Haley, running her fingers through her hair. "Hello." She said, reading the book over her shoulder. Her eyes were flat brown, a clue that she was bored and was looking for something to do.
Hey.Do you wanna go do something? I'm kinda getting bored with this now.

"So do you wanna go do something?", Haley asked.

Stacey shrugged. "Sure. Where do you want to go?" She asked.
" Can we go pick up a spell to change my hair back to blond?" Haley said quietly?
Stacey laughed. "I can do that." She assured her young friend. "Believe me, my hair got dyed bright pink one time."
" Wow! That would've been cool but I like my hair blond." Haley said as she laughed slightly.
Stacey smiled and started running her fingers through Haley`s hair. As she did so, it slosly turned blonde again.
"Wow! Thanks Stacy! Well that just crossed that off my list. What do you want to do?" Haley asks in awe.
Stacey shrugged and stared absentmidedly at her engagment ring. Life seemed slow without Aiden to help it along.
" Hey is that an Engagement ring?",Haley asked feeling stupid that she didn't notice it before.
Stacey nodded. "Yea, I`ve been engaged for about a month now." She said dreamily.
" Oh Congratulations!!! So how did you get engaged to Aiden? Wait it is Aiden right?" Haley was so happy but she was also sad because The One hadn't realized she like him.
Stacey smiled and nodded again. "We were just sitting with each other and talking, then he left and came back with the ring." She said, the night perfectly clear in her mind.
" aw wow what a surprise!" Haley said," When's the wedding?"
Stacey didn`t have to think for one second; she had been counting the days for a long time. "Four-hundred and sixety-two days from today." She answered.
Haley giggled a little and the n said "wow you know the exact date?" Then realized she probably shouldn't have laughed
Stacey nodded slowly, not knowing what Haley was thinking. Her eyes were slowly turning dark grey.
" I'm sorry", Haley said," did I offend you?"
