James began to walk away in embaressment. It was as if he had gone from on disaster from another. But then, just then, he realized why he went to Hogwarts. Why he was sorted into Gryffindor. And so he dropped his wand, and turned around in a slow manner. It was as if he was battling himself whether he should keep turning or not.

He then moved his arms in a stance like a lion, with one arm further than the other. James then seperated his legs so he could move quicker. But other than the occasional punch, he couldn't fight. He was just weak without his wand, and even weaker without magic. The only thing he would have left would be his scrawny body. Though something made him go the other way, and face the girl.

"Still here." muttered James a bit too loudly.

Suddenly, an older boy pushed a smaller, skinnier boy into the battleground.

"I--I am?" stuttered the boy, who was only 11 or 12 years of age. Not only did this dismay some, but his gryffindor robes were spotted with dust, and so was his face and hair. The dark brown hair was pretty messy, and it led to the conclusion that he had suffered from a portkey disaster. His striking green eyes looked a bit nervous.

He wasn't even allowed to be in the area, so he prepared for the worst. But using the strength he posessed, he drew forth his wand and kept it on his side, too shy to brandish it.

This was no ordinary boy, but James Gregori. A first year.

James Gregori

1st year (2nd in august)

Name: James Godric Gregori (or JGG as he puts in his signatures)

AGE: 11-18 (depending on the roleplay) 

Height: He is small at the age of 11, but as he progresses, he becomes pretty tall.

Appearance: James has unmistakable green eyes. They're not light, nor dark. He has messy dark brown hair which isn't long, but isn't short (that is always extremely messy in the morning) with an orange stripe trailing across the left side (which is explained in his history). As a young boy, he is pretty skinny and wobbly, but becomes a bit more slim and more broad-shouldered as he gets older. The fact that he is skinny is a weird trait in his family, since most of his relatives are buff and strong.

His skin at age 11 is pretty pale, but it gets a bit darker as he becomes older (with a light reddish-tannish tint). He has a heart-filled smile that looks as if he has done something mischevious, or is trying to make someone feel very fuzzy inside. Seeing him gives people hope, in a way.

RACE: Full Blood Wizard

Parents: Artemis Gregori and Elizabeth (Liz) Hollow

Personality: James is a caring and brave boy. He's not a talkative one, but speaks normally. Though when it isn't necessary, he usually twiddles his wand and remains silent. Of course, this changes as he gets older, but he always remains the shy type.

Likes: Funny colors, furry animals, and fancy brooms! haha, well, he likes more than that. James loves to fly on his broom and venture into forests. At times he tries to combine spells, but of course this never works. He is not only a skilled at flying, but he is also a skilled duelist. He was one of the first wizards to have an aerial duel, which is a normal duel, but on brooms.

James likes the scent of strawberries and pumpkins. But what he loves the most is animals, especially the great elk.

He also fancies dark chocolate, and his favorite mythical creature is the Gryffin.

Dislikes: James does not like the rain, but likes its refreshment. He also dislikes blackness and darkness, but learns to overcome it. He hates hot weather. He dislikes rats and mad cats. But other than that, he's alright with anything. Oh yeah, and he hates it how his index finger always taps when he's nervous.

Power: His one true power is bravery and love (and being a Wizard!)

History:

First, I need to talk to you about his family.

The Hollows, his mother's side, are dark and slim people. Most of their relatives have been in Slytherin, and some say one is distantly related to Salazar Slytherin. They are known for mischevious crimes and cult-ish undertakings, but are all around good people (at least the relatives closest to James). What their achievements are are a bit too bad to talk about right here and now.

The Gregori's are, in contrast, bright and buff people. Most of THEIR relatives have been in Gryffindor. And, you guessed it, some say they are related to Godric Gryffindor himself (hence, Jame's middle name). They are known for wonderous and fantastical achievements, like his uncle, Farres, who discovered Merlin's tomb. Or his grandfather, Artemis Sr., who was one of the greatest duelists in history.

James was born in on a small farm in Ireland, but was raised in a silent and boring suburb in London. Luckily, the house he lives in is the brightest in the neighborhood, literally. It has great, red bricks and a magnificent rooftop, with a chimney in the shape of a dragon. Sometimes James' father, Artemis, goes on trips back to places such as Ireland to tend for injured dragons. But he has also been dealing with centaurs lately.

Nothing is very unusual or interesting about James normal life, other than the occasional dragon destroying his house's rooftop or a centaur dropping by. James' mother, Elizabeth, is specialized in the field of Herbology. Thus, one might notice when entering his house that the garden flowers occasionally sing or dance. (so when a dragon almost set her whole garden aflame, Liz almost filed a divorce, but controlled her anger and obsession for her plants)

This has led to a large amount of complaints from the ministry, sicne muggles aren't allowed to see such things. In fact, James' great great great great, a few more greats, uncle took a dip in a loch with his dragon. When muggles saw, the uncle fleed straight away, leaving his dragon behind. This began the tale of the Loch-ness Monster. (and boy, did the wizard community get a kick out of that one)

When James first attended Hogwarts school, his entire family was thouroughly excited. But when he turned out to be sorted into Gryffindor, hate mail poured into the Gregori mailbox. Mainly from the Hollows. Also, there would be fewer family gatherings (as rare as they normally were...because you can imagine a family such as the Gregori's meeting a family such as the Hollows)
