Gryffindor / Singing
December 29, 2009, 11:51:08 AM
Lavy closed the door behind her. She pulled her long hair up into a ponytail, since it was still wet from the  shower. No one was in  the room but her. Since it was the holidays most everyone had gone home, including all the girls from her room. It was a little lonely but niece at the same time. She liked the quiet sometimes.

She turned on her I-pod and put a spell on it, causing the music to the amplified ten fold. The whole room was like a sound system, music streaming out of every flood tile and crack in the wall. She grabbed her hairbrush, singing loudly but surprisingly on key and almost...good. Almost.

Other Books & Movies / New Moon Rant
November 30, 2009, 07:05:02 AM
It that time of year again. Last year I ranted on about the Twilight movie and so I decided to keep it up and do New Moon so here we go.
We will start with the directing. Different directors mean a different feel of a movie. I actually like this warmer feel that the coloring gives to this movie but there are some problems. Did anyone notice that annoying need for the circling camera work? I was getting motion sick there was so much. And some of those scenes were just way to cheesy to even be funny. It was just plain sad. If you've seen The Golden Compass you would know that this movie was an improvement but not much.

OK so acting...or lack of it really. I still don't know how I feel about Robert Pattison. I actually think he can act but he is not displaying that at all in this movie or the last. I'm looking forward to Remember Me, which is the new movie he's in. It looks good. I also really like the supporting cast. Kellen Lutz it a riot every time he's on the screen. Also the rest of the family does well in the limited time they are seen. Also Taylor Lautner is a suprise in the fact that he can do the cometic scenes as well as the more serious one with relative ease. Good job Taylor

But Kristen Steward is the real problem with this movie. She is horrible. I can't stand the way her speech pattern in this movie. She pauses in random placed where  there is no nee for a pause. She can't get out a full sentences with taking five breaths. Hot shirtless men couldn't save this movie from her and everytime she was on screen with someone I just felt really bad for them because it was clear they were trying to actually get something out of her but she was completely unwilling to provide them with what they needed to make it a good movie

General / Soooo.......

I'm bored and don't have much to do so here's my question......

What does everyone else do when they are bored out of their minds?

Gryffindor / Silk and Stone
November 19, 2009, 02:09:19 PM
Lavy pushed the heavy door open, leading out of the school to the steps. She wasn't sure what she was doing or even why she was there, walking slowly down the steps. A cool breeze ran across her bare shoulders and ruffled the bottom of her nightgown, which hardly reached her knees.

She was down the stairs and stepped onto the cold grass below her feet. She looked around, seeing every detail of the school grounds like it was midday. The moon was full, shining brightly overhead. It was a peaceful seen, the kind that everyone hopes to have but really get.

She was halfway to the lake when she was suddenly aware that she wasn't alone. She looked around to see who it was.

The Forest / Stranded
November 17, 2009, 11:37:06 AM
Lavy sat up straight, looking all around her. Though the dense fog she could make out trees but not much else. She stood slowly and promptly fell back down, to dizzy to keep her balance. She pressed her forhead against the cool grass for a moment before trying again. A sharp pain went though her whole body, making it near impossible to think clearly.

She made it to a close by tree and leaned against it, trying to figure out where she was. It had a sense of familiarity and yet seemed completely changed. She touched her leg and when she brought her hand to her face she saw it was covered in dark red blood. She sighed and slid to the ground. There was no use trying to walk around in the state she was in.

She took off her thin jacket and tore it into long strips. She wrapped one of them around her bleeding leg and pulled it tight, causing another sharp pain to go up and down her spine. She stood again, ignoring her throbbing head and started hobbling forward, looking for familiar landmarks or better yet a person.

Ravenclaw / Backup Plan
July 1, 2009, 05:00:40 AM
Lavy rolled her eyes. She couldn't believe that all her planning and yes some scheming as well was about to go to waste. Over some little insignificant detail. She sat down thinking about anyway around it. She needed to use her backup plan. The thought of that sent shivers down her spine.

She knew what plan B intailed. Murder. She hadn't killed anyone, accident or not, in over two years. It came with the territory, she knew, she had accepted that her hands would be covered with blood from what she and Neo had done. But since he and nearly lost his mind, murder, to her relief had taken a backseat. And now it was trying to take the wheel again. Her absolute frustration resulted in her kicking a desk over just as the common room door swung open.

The Lake / Dip in the cool water
April 22, 2009, 10:23:51 AM
Lavy stepped out onto the highest branch of the tree she was in. She balanced herself out over it to the end and looked down. The water was clear, the moonlight reflecting off the water almost as brightly as the sun would. It was a warm night with no hint of a breeze. Rare in England. She smiled and took a deep breath. She jumped.

She sliced though the water like a knife though butter, smooth and silent. She didn't go every deep on purpose, she didn't want to get in a fight with the merpeople tonight. In fact, she wasn't in much of a fighting mood. She wanted peace and the water provided that. She allowed herself to float back up to the top.

It was quite, only the sounds of the forest reached her ears and even those seemed to respect her need for only gentle sounds. She floated the entire length of the lake twice. It wasn't until she came close to the forest's edge again that she actually used her muscles. She swam to the shoreline and sat down next to a big grandfatherly tree. She heard movement in the leaves above and looked up to see what it was

Other Books & Movies / rant
April 14, 2009, 10:45:17 AM
The more I think about it the more I hate Bella. She really is the worst protagonist ever. She is just so dumb. And selfish (p.s if you haven't read all four books please don't respond). The Bella in the move is so much better, she doesn't whine and complain about every little detail and she doesn't take other peoples crap. I totally respect that.

yes that was a short rant but i just had to get that out

The Lake / The boy called nate
April 14, 2009, 07:21:50 AM
"Nate if you do that again I'm going to scream, "Lavy said simply, "And if you get any water on me I'm going to kill you." She turned away from him and the next second she was drench from head to toe in freezing cold water. Behind her she heard laughter. She turned, murder written all over her face.

Nate was on the floor of the kitchen laughing so hard it was clear he was having trouble breathing, "Lavy....Lavy you should have.....seen....the look...on your face.....when you...t...tur....turn around....." he said though fits of laughter.
Lavy put her noise in the air, "You are dead to me."
"Oh, don't be silly. Water dries."
"But all the love I felt for you wont. You've totally dashed it."
"Now your just being over dramatic, Lavy." He said, picking himself off the ground. He reached behind him and grabbed a hand towel, "Here I'll get you another one. And a shirt. We can dry your cloths."
"I'm totally telling Neo that one of his best friends got his girl undressed."
"Go ahead. He'll just laugh at you and ask which prank I pulled on you that got you out of them," Nate said, leaving the room to find something else so that she could dry off.......

Lavy opened her eyes. She was sitting on the edge of the lake. The sun was high in the sky, midday, and all of the birds chirped their little songs to each other. She sat up. It was Saturday and students ran around her, jumping into the lake. She must have fallen asleep. But why was she thinking about Nate. Her thought were interrupted by a familiar voice

Slytherin / Borderline Obsession
April 13, 2009, 10:18:07 AM
(lol Stacey knows what I'm talking about ;))

Lavy stomped around the forest for a good hour until she was calm enough to think straight. It was childish she knew but she didn't care. She was p.o ed. At Neo, at Aiden but mostly at herself for believing them....again. Aiden had meant well, but Neo still wasn't himself fully. He was getting better control over himself but he could still explode.

The only reason that they hadn't lost it on each other was because they were around people. Muggles. No one that could defend themselves if they started throwing spells at each other. Her thoughts were interrupted by approaching footsteps, "Neo you better leave or Ginny will kill you," She said automatically, not looking to see who it was.

Gryffindor / Long RP
March 30, 2009, 03:24:51 AM
(ONLY RULE: THE POST HAS TO BE LONG.....SOMEWHERE BETWEEN TWO SENTENCES AND A NOVEL)

Lavy sat up sweating. She looked around the dark room, expecting to see someone coming at her but there was nothing. Just the dying fire off to the side and five other sleeping girls in the room. She sighed, annoyed at herself. But at least she hadn't woken up screaming again. That would be emberssing.

She swung her legs over the edge of and reached for the glass of water the was sitting on her night stand. She drank the whole thing, poured another and drank that one as well. She looked down at her watch. Four thirty seven in the morning. She rubbed her eyes and got dressed in record time.

She went about her business, doing a quick bed check. She noticed a few people missing and noted it.
She was about to start checking the boys rooms when she heard talking coming from the common room and changed her direction. Lavy walked down the steps silently, hoping not to startle whoever was down there.

Slytherin / Long time no see
February 10, 2009, 01:26:57 PM
(closed until Josh joins.....then please join it's boring with only two people lol)

Lavy laid in her bed until the sun was shinning bright through the windows. She didn't really want to get up but she had to. There was news of a few new students coming in and she had to show them around.

She considered faking an illness but if Ginny was around she would see right through it. So she dragged herself out of the bed, put some cloths on and made her hair look halfway presentable. She gracelessly went down the steps with thunderous stomps, wanting to make everyone around her as annoyed as she was.

The long trip down to the Great Hall was made even longer cause she refused to move faster then a snails pace. She passed the Hall, the smell of food unappealing and went to wait at the bottom of the steps that led to Hagrid's house, the forest and the villages.

The students were suppose to meet her at one. It was 12:30. She sat down and started pulling at the grass.

General / STOP THE MADNESS!!!!!!
February 10, 2009, 01:15:25 PM
I hope I'm not over stepping my bounds here but someone needs to just spell it out:

STOP WITH THE VAMPIRE RP'S PLEASE!!!!!

I understand that you want to talk about them but please take in someplace else. This is a Harry Potter Fan website. I don't mind a few topics about vampires but this is getting to be too much.

The fact that it needs to be asked of you to stop talking about a topic that has nothing to do with the website is ridiculous. Take it to a Twilight Fan website. There are plenty of them.

Please and Thank You.

Hogsmead / Here is there and everywhere
December 29, 2008, 02:21:36 PM
Lavy woke up, laying down. In a field of flowers, the sun high in the sky. She was surrounded by white lilies. She sat up confussed as how she had gotten there. Last time she checked she was lying in her bed in the middle of England, and now she was here. She looked down at her body. She was bare footed and had on a floor legnth, lace baby blue dress. She looked at her arms as well, which were also bare.

She stood up. As far as she could see to the north, east and west, was fields of different flowers: sunflowers, daises and more lilies. Behind her was a forest. She wondered if Hogwarts was on the other side of the forest. She pulled up the skirt of the dress and start towards the forest.

It took her a full two hours to realize that she didn't recognize the trees around her or the sounds of the animals. She sighed and sat down. She brushed off the bottoms other her feet and her arms.

Gryffindor / Finally
December 28, 2008, 12:19:06 PM
(closed till Hayden joins)

Lavy nearly fell onto the couch. It was so soft. Today was her first day off in nearly four months and she had every intention of making the most of it. It was midday, the sun high in the sky, but it was still freezing cold outside with an icy breeze.

But inside it was warm, hot even and Lavy couldn't be happier. She had no intention of going outside so she had dressed for the heat inside. Shorts, short sleeves and flats. She pulled out a book and started reading.

Slytherin / I wish it was spring
December 27, 2008, 12:37:16 PM
Lavy opened her eyes to screaming. Not scared screaming. Happy screaming. She got up out of bed and walked to the window
trying to see what was going on. She had to shielded her eyes against the hot spring sun but she could still see clearly. She saw students playing in the water.

She smiled and went over to her closet. It was warm so she decided to put on a tank top, khaki shorts and white flats. She pulled up her long hair into a ponytail and headed out of her room to the common room to see who else was still inside.

Ravenclaw / Safe...for now
December 27, 2008, 05:57:38 AM
Lavy burst through the final trees. She turned around ready to strike whatever came out. She waited five minutes with no result. She breathed a sigh a relief. She had no idea what had been chasing her. She never got a good look. All she knew was that it was huge, smelled disgusting, and had very sharp claws.

She looked down at her body. Across her abdomen her shirt was ripped, reviling four long scratches that were bleeding and one leg of her pants was almost completely torn off.

She jogged back up to the school and slipped into the door. It was bearly midday, but it was Fridays so classes were going on. She started up the steps, but stopped midstep when she saw that someone was stadning at the top.
