Dumbledore is dead. And I AM on the side of the Pheonix.

I must apologize, I feel I made a fool of myself. I did not know of his rude behavior in other posts. Forgive me. I assumed he was banned only on the fact that he said pshih too much.

One time, I was traveling america and I stopped in a restaurant in the deep south, and they threw rolls at the customers. I caught one but, since i'm not an actor, I didn't play with it.  ;D

Bad joke. Sorry.
Cut me some slack, it's 2:00 here and I lost my tylenol PM.

Now then, hopefully we can settle down and enjoy a good sip of tea.
Cheers.

If I offended anyone, I apologize, I am sorry. That was not my intent. It was merely to ask that you look on the other side of an issue. But I do believe what happened to Ace was wrong. Maybe he had being banned coming, but I do not believe it should have been caused over "pisah"

My two cents, and as always: Stay Groovy, and remember "Hail to the King Baby!"

Not to stir up more trouble, but this is what I believe to be right (agree, disagree, we all have our opinions... hopefully we can be civil and respect that):
I think you should allow Ace back in the forum. You all discriminated against him because of a simple stupid word. What you did to him was wrong. You were demeaning to him, and he was merely defending HIS RIGHT to use any word that he saw fit to use. If one has a limited vocabulary, one must use what he has. Evidently Ace was a fan of the word phisah or some such nonsense.
I don't support such a b@$tardization of the English language, but I do support his right to exercise his freedom of speech. As limited as it may be. Judging from the rest of this forum I could probably say there are a lot of annoying people.
"Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones."
I always thought you all to be rather immature (which is why I left, excluding Kiara and Shuibee-- whom I deem to be very noteworthy and intelligent. I think a lot can be learned from them, and they speak eloquently), but I never thought you would ban someone just because his use of words was not to the liking of you. If that were the case, you should all be banned for one reason or another. I have not seen one grammatically correct post YET (including myself, I am far from perfect)! In fact, you all include little annoyances in your posts "lol, lol, lol, lol, lol, lol, lol, lol, rite (sic), omg, wat r u (sic) , woukld (sic)  be borin (sic)  and + lol, Pleaz (sic)" and this kind of... makes absolutely no sense "yeah do he (sic) insults every1 (sic)" "his (sic)  been banned , that good he could'nt (sic)  play niace (sic) so he goes."

You say this: "he can then post properly"... right and I guess your way of posting is what is proper? "I'm Jon Stossel and I say 'Give me a Break'!"

Side Note: In one thread ACE stated "i wouldnt say i was as pure piash as some of you guys" [piash meaning coolness]
And how does Google respond? Rudely: "I'm fed up with the bl**dy expression pure piash it looks like pure p**h"
Google, you're not very tolerant of others are you?

Now, this is not to say ACE is completely innocent, I have checked his posts and he does incite fights, and he has acted off-putting. The mature thing to have done (for both sides) would have been to ignore the others ignorance. As it is, a fight started. I felt the need to defend Ace, since he is incapable of defending himself.

If you must ban me for also standing up for the right to freedom of speech, do so if you must. As I understand it, this IS A TOTALITARIAN FORUM!

My two cents, and as always: Stay Groovy, and remember "Hail to the King Baby!"

Harry Potter Movies / Re:most expensive movie ever

...

You seem to have lost your imagination for the Romanic side of film.
No, just thinking realistically. Film is, and always will be, a tough, grueling, technical job. And wow, some one who has never met is telling me I have no imagination...

As Titanic was quite possably one of the most Romantic stories ever told.
I refer you to a little known film, Casablanca. Also recommended are the Apartment, and Breakfast At Tiffanys. They are the greatest Romances ever told. They are also the reason you have your Titanic (the romantic angle, not the tragedy... obviously...). Titanic, for me didn't have the love or substance that was so perfectly captured in the above movies.

So many people look at the tech. side of movies and fail to see what lies beneath the surface of it all.  They get lost in the box created to show them only good can come from sex, violence and such.
That's true, many people do get caught up in all that. But I would appreciate me if you wouldn't so carelessly lump me into that group. It's true there is a lot of love in movie making, sweat and tears. But it's all technical. A director should always be thinking of the best way to keep a reasonable budget, but also showcase his creative and artistic flair. Maybe I should have said just because it has a big budget, doesn't nescesarrily mean it's gonna be good. Thinking about how a movie performs at the Box Office is top priority on any producer. But not necessarily mine. Again I prefer the more personal, rougher edged, Independant style of filmmaking. Indi's usually give a director more artistic freedom, and more creativity in telling their story. Big Budget movies are usually, large, gaudy, kicked around and dragged through the mus by the studio and the producers, until the movie has nearly lost it's heart.

They can no longer see the romance in theatre.  I am only saying that we should wish the GOF the best.  If that is a hopless dream, I suppose I am a hopless romantic then.
Thank God romantics aren't dead. It's a good thing to see in a time when everything is about the coolest gadgets, the loudest guns, and the smallest phones. I myself love the old, romantic, antiquated times of old.

For I believe that any story told, has not been a waste of time.
Would you say the same thing about From Dusk Til Dawn? Watch that are try and tell me it wasn't a waste...
I can't think of anything else to say except...

I must repeat, do not carelessly lump me into any group unless you have taken the time to know me.

I'm through here, catch you at Shuis. I have nothing more to say...

He can't play someone serious....he's too comedyish (thats not a real word )

Well, at one point someone would have said that of Tom Hanks as all he did was slapstick comedies and standup comedy early on. But look at him now.  ;D

Nice dream world you live in there, real Utopian Paradise... unfortunately just because a movie has a good budget NEVER guarantees success. Satan made Titanic successful, because that was the most god awful steaming pile of... but I digress. At any rate, big budget movies are usually all style with no substance.
I'd like to see how Harry Potter would've been in a low budget, independant style.

That being said, I must say Cuaron is a very powerful intelligent director. His version of Harry Potter looks great, and I'm sure he's injected some dimension into the film. Has anyone seen Y Tu Mama Tambien, it's directed by Alfonso. Get the uncut, subtitled version. The cut version with English dubbing sucks. Highly recommended.

I understand that Rowan is not Voldemort, but I think something should be said. But last I checked Rowan was an ACTOR. Just because he's played comedies before, doesn't mean he COULDN'T play someone serius. Give the guy a break... jeez.

*wham*wham*wham*
Well, that's it. That's the final nail in the coffin.

I'm not impressed by Newells past attempts at directing. is track record doesn't shout greatness.

Also, whenever a movie is called "the most expensive movie ever" is NOT A GOOD THING. That usually means the movie is also the "the biggest flop ever"! Look back at all the old movies that had big budgets, Batman and Robin springs to mind... Cleopatra (of course now it is considered a classic-- and it deserves it too), but because it's budget was so huge the production company LOST money.

Sorry I haven't posted anything yet. If anyone has an idea for the story, go ahead and post it and I'll join in later. But right now I've been very busy.

Sorry friends.

I like those two, but my favorite Hitch film was Rope and Vertigo. There was also one film, I can't remember, but I loved it as well.

Too true about Burton, The man has got it going on. Kinda sexy looking too.

I can't believe I can say "B-Movie Bad Ass" but "Hitchthingy" gets censored...
