Gryffindor / It's about time!
September 1, 2008, 12:40:04 PM
((Everyone's invited! Jump in at any time.))

Ginny Weasly paced around the small room, biting her lips. Her red hair was braided around her head, the rest of it falling in soft waves. Her make up was perfect, though she wore little. Her cheeks were pink from being nervous, and she was wringing her hands. Her blue-white dress fluttered around her.

In the room with her were two others. The one was obviously Arthur Weasley, his graying red hair and glasses making the point. He was dressed in his best, looking extreamly happy. He watched Ginny pace, a small smile etched on his lips.
Beside him stood Cody, also dressed in his best. He wore a black tux,, had his hands behind his back and was also watching Ginny. His black hair had finally been cut to a respectable length and his eyes were even more striking now.
"Mom!" He finally yelled out, "Calm down!"

Ginny jerked to a stop, turning and facing Cody, "But I'm so nervous!" She said, throwing her hands up.

Cody sighed, going to her side and taking her hand, 'Don't be. You are marrying Dad. Not some jerk."

Ginny smiled down at Cody, kneeling and cupping his angelic face in her hands. She kissed both his cheeks, "My angel, you are absolutely correct."

Arthur cleared his throat, "Um, we should get going. Before they start without us."

"How can they do that?" Ginny asked, laughing, "I'm the one getting married!" She stood, taking Cody's hand and Arthur's arm. As the left the room, Cody let go of his mother's hand to go through another door, one that lead outside to the garden. Ginny stopped and looked at her dad.

"Thanks Dad." She said softly, "I know you guys had to work hard to put this all together so fast. But I really appreciate it." She threw her arms around her father in a tight hug, "It meas a lot to me for you guys to get it all set up."
Ginny and Xaver had only given a week's notice. But this had turned out wonderful so far.

Arthur nodded, tears in his eyes as he hugged Ginny back.
"Of course, Gin. You are my daughter, and Xaver is a good guy." He kissed her forehead, "I'm so happy for you." Outside, the piano began to play, and the two looked at each other in surprise. Ginny's eyes grew wide, and she seemed just like a little girl.

She bit her lip, and her father took her arm. Slowly, he led her out of the house and up to the spot they had designated for the ceremony. Surrounding them were dozens of kinds of flowers and other plants. It was a beautiful day, not too warm, but by no means cold. There were people sitting in chairs facing the spot where Cody now stood next to Xaver. Cody, it seemed was the best man at his own parent's wedding.

Ginny and Arthur reached halfway up the make shift aisle, when Ginny felt like time froze. She blinked a few times, looking from Cody to Xaver, having one of those surreal moments where they seemed to melt into one being and then back into their separate entities. She swallowed around a lump in her throat. She was terrified, suddenly.
Time had not frozen. Her fear was making it seem slower, however.

Cody lay on his back in the grass, staring up at the clear blue sky. His mother was somewhere in the school, they'd only planned on stopping for a few moments. Not that Cody minded, for now he got to simply be here.
A love for Hogwarts, it seemed, was in his blood.

His blue eyes reflected the blue sky as he seemingly stared into the nothingness above him. His black hair moved when the wind blue, but that seemed to be all that moved. In fact, people walking by him were tempted to poke him, top make sure he wasn't dead.

He was very much alive. Skilled at showing no expression, no feeling. He'd been taught by the best to hide his thoughts and feelings. Had been shown that such things being known can get you in deep trouble. He'd learned to keep secrets better than anyone.
After all, he'd been a secret for the majority of it life.

((Open. But I swear to God, if you type like an idiot, you are DONE.))

Ginny stood next to her desk, surveying the orbs held there. Various colors showed from them, almost every color of the rainbow. The room was dim, and the wall near her desk was awash with the colors from the orbs.
Ginny tapped each one, checking to make sure it was secure before she folded her arms, apparently satisfied.

She glanced up at the clock on the wall, just as the bell rang. Students would be filing in now.

Gryffindor / _simply ah-mazing

((Okay, the rules. Anyone can join! But, you must post with substance, and you must be patient and willing to wait for one person at a time. This actually does have an intended plan, so don't go off on your own thing too much. Enjoy! =) ))

When Ginny was fourteen, she had been married. Her husband had been a boy of the same age, by the name of Conan Sulai. Together, she and Conan ruled a country that was 3000 years in the past. Unfortunately, Conan tried to kill her. Needless to say, Ginny filed for divorce.

Now, the country she and Conan had ruled together was in turmoil. The citizens were considering revolt against King Conan, they were tired of his rule. He knew there was only one way to keep the country together. He need an heir. Since he couldn't get married and produce one in a day, he knew he had to get Ginny to agree to announce her son as the heir to the throne.
The problem was, Ginny hated Conan with a passion.

Still, he had to try. His adviser, Sam, was pushing him to do at least this right. And so Conan had contacted Sirius Back. Black had delivered a letter to Ginny, asking her to meet him. Grudgingly, she had agreed. Under the condition that they meet at Hogwarts. Conan agreed.

Now, Ginny stood on the steps of the school, her hands shoved deep into the front pocket of the black hoodie she wore. In addition, she had on jeans and sneakers, and her red hair hung down her back. She didn't smile as she stood there, her entire being suggested annoyance. In fact, she radiated agitation.

On the step, sitting beside her, was her small son, Cody. He sat with his elbows on his knees, his face in his hands. He was pouting, his adorable face set into a frown. His beautiful ice blue eyes stared off down the road, and the wind moved his black hair from his forehead. He looked up at Ginny.
"Mom, is Dad gonna be here when that other guy comes?"

Ginny knelt down, sighed and rubbing the four year old's back.
"I don't know, angel. Maybe." She smiled at him, "And if he isn't, there's no need to be scared. Conan is a big wimp." She winked at Cody, causing the little boy to giggle.

He smiled, his eyes lighting up much as her's did when she was truly happy.
"Okay." He giggled again, then nodded at her.

Hogsmead / New (open)
July 30, 2008, 01:36:27 AM
Ginny hated shopping in the town closest to her home. She also disliked Diagon Alley. However, Hogsmead was perfect for her. She could stop there after classes, and it was small enough that if she brought Cody, he'd never be lost.

Ginny walked along today alone. Cody was at his grandparents, Xaver was home. She had chosen to go shopping alone, for some time to think alone. She wore faded jeans and a white t-shirt. A startling contrast to her normally dark clothes.
Still, she looked as young and pretty as ever. Her youthful looks placed her at about 17 years of age. Her bright red hair shone in the sunlight, causing several to take double glances at her. She was obviously pretty, though she wasn't aware of it.

The Forest / Simply .adorable (open)
July 29, 2008, 06:24:42 AM
Most parents have a tendency to be over protective of their young. They think that the child needs to be constantly watched, constantly attended to. They imagine danger around every corner and take outrageous precautions.

Ginny was protective of her four, almost five, year old son.
So much so that the world hadn't even been aware of his existence until he was three.
He'd been a secret for most of his life.

The difference was that the danger was not imaginary. Several people would have loved to have gotten their hands on little Cody. They would have liked to kill him. Or maybe they would have used his magical ability or prodigal mind for their own reasons.
Despite this danger, the child had so far lived as normal a life as he could have.

Still, as mother and child walked through the forest one warm Saturday, Ginny couldn't help but keep a watchful eye. She instructed him to stay close, with seeing distance. She couldn't help it. He was her baby.

Both were dressed in jeans and t-shirts, apparently had been out playing all day. From young Cody's shoulders were wings, black satin feathers ruffling now and then in the small wind. His hair, the same color as his wings, flew across his eyes. He brushed it away as he ran around, now and then doing a flip or a cartwheel.

Ginny smiled to herself as she watched him run, his boundless energy seeming to seep into her by association. The thing was, Cody was her life. He was the reason she lived today. Years ago, he had been the sole reason she awoke each morning.
He was still her angel.

Cody suddenly stopped and turned his head to the side, as if listening to something he could hardly hear. His grin grew wide and he turned, facing Ginny and putting his hands on his hips.
"Mom! I think I can hear other peoples thoughts!" He said excitedly.

Ravenclaw / Detention Duty ((Open RP))
July 12, 2008, 12:13:06 PM
"Why? I actually have somewhere to be, don't you understand?" Ginny was walking alongside a tallish looking man, looking highly upset.

"Listen, I'm sorry Professor Weasley, but Minerva is sick and we need someone to cover detention tonight." The man explained, raising his eyebrows at her.

Ginny scowled at him, "You don't seem to get it, Headmaster, I have a child who's waiting for me to get home. I have a family to get to! Make someone else do it!" The two of them stopped outside of a door and Ginny stomped her foot angrily.

"I can't Professor. You are the only one available tonight. I'm sorry." He didn't look sorry at all.

Ginny growled angrily, "Yeah, I bet you are." She muttered, turning her back on him and going through the door. She flopped herself down at the desk, crossing her arms like an angry teenager. The clock struck 5, the end of the days classes. Students would be arriving for detention any moment.

Ginny pout her head down on the desk, hiding her angry, flushed face. It was so stupid. Just because she refused to become a full time teacher, the stupid headmaster kept giving her a rough time. She just wanted to go home to her son, to Xaver.
She did not want to do detention duty at the moment.

((Class RP. Once I finish one, I start another. If anyone has any ideas for classes, PM me.))

"Ok..." Ginny muttered to herself, pushing her hair from her face and glaring down at the papers before her. She had five minutes before the bell rang and she wanted to finish looking over these papers before then.

She growled, growing frustrated easily.
"Stupid--headmaster---school---ministry---..." She muttered.

((Open, as all classes are.))

The bell rang, loudly, and Ginny faced her class with a small smile. This was the third time they'd met as a whole class, and Ginny was happy with the way things were progressing.
Unfortunately, they wouldn't be able to do as she had said last class.

The plan had been to have the students fight each other in pairs that she assigned.
But, she couldn't do that today. They'd have to postpone that lesson for a bit.

She hadn't told the kids this yet, hadn't even said hello as she waited for the late bell to ring. She doubted anybody would be late. To be late was to be thrown onto the floor at any given moment.

"Hey guys." She said.

Hufflepuff / Sibling Rivalry
June 17, 2008, 12:15:43 PM
Classes were over for the day, had just ended. Now Ginny sat on the steps just inside the school, her chin in her hands, starring forward. Instead of her usual teacher's robes, she wore jeans and a t-shirt. Her class had been outside that day, she had taught them more hand-to-hand combat.

The past week had been a rough one. Full of confusion, of hurt, and an uneasy feeling of anxiety. Ginny rubbed her face, trying to wake herself up for the walk down to Hogsmead. She still had some groceries to pick up, then she had to go to her parent's house and pick up Cody before she went home.

But she was so tired.

Gryffindor / Learning to fight (open. class RP)
June 6, 2008, 10:20:45 AM
Teaching was hard work, sometimes. Grading papers, controlling students. Teaching could be very tiring.
And...
Teaching was boring.

Especially when this was only the second time this class had met. The first time, Ginny hadn't been sure what she wanted to do. Today, however, she knew exactly what was going to happen.
And it wasn't because she was psychic.

The bells rang, and Ginny waited for her students by the classroom door. She wore old, faded jeans that fit snugly and a blue t-shirt. Her bright red hair was pulled back into a ponytail, away from her face and out of her way. She wore regular sneakers, much like those that many of the students wore. She had told her students to wear old clothes. They would be getting dirty.

Getting thrown into the dirt is often cause for getting dirty.

Ravenclaw / Learning [early] (Open)
May 29, 2008, 11:26:13 PM
A beautiful morning, dawning bright and dewy. A thin mist making the air crisp, even as the sun begins to warm it. Two figures, clad in jeans and t-shirts are at the edge of the forest.

A women of average height and weight, wearing a black shirt with her jeans sits on a fallen log. Her bright red hair is pulled into a taunt ponytail, giving her face a full, childish look. She seems to be about 17 years old, but in reality she is 21. Ginny was smiling, and nodding, "Perfect. Try again."

She spoke to a small boy of about 4 or 5 years. He had obsidian hair, ice blue eyes and pale skin. He was the exact replica of his father, Xaver. He too wore a black shirt, but his had some cartoon character on it. He held a wand, his mothers, in his hand and was moving it, mumbling a spell. Sparks flew from the tip, scorching a tree that stood a few feet away.

"Good job Cody. Now try a healing charm on the tree." Ginny instructed her son quietly. She watched him tilt the wand, twirling it and saying the charm. She watched him with slight melancholy, proud of him for being able to accomplish spells that many 4th years couldn't do, and yet sad that he was growing up so quickly.

Though, he was a Fallen.
The rate of growth for them was different than it was with humans. Cody turned and smiled at her, his young face lighting up as the tree began to heal.

"What next, Mom?" His grin was catching, and Ginny laughed softly.

"Eager to learn, Angel?"

Around The Grounds / Tisn't often...
May 28, 2008, 10:32:07 AM
It wasn't often that Ginny was at the school. She had agreed to be a substitue teacher for extra money, and she had agreed to teach a weekly class. But she spent most of her time at home, or at her parent's home. She wasn't as sociable as she had been years past, and was actually a lot happier because of it.

Less people, less stress.

Today was the first day of her weekly class. It had been decided that she only need teach this class once a week, since most of the kids would catch on quickly. It was a strange class...a mix between Divination, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Care of Magical Creatures, and Potions. In fact, there was a little bit of every class that was taught at Hogwarts in her class. Ginny was simply passing on her knowledge of survival.

She stood now inside of an empty classroom, her back to the door. She stared out the window, wanting nothing more than to see her baby. Both of her babies, actually. But she and Xaver had sen each other only in passing lately. She worried about him. And she worried about Cody. Not seeing his dad was really hurting the boy. She sighed as the bell rang, loud and obnoxious.

The Forest / Time Long Ago ((Open))
May 12, 2008, 07:32:39 AM
Xerxes Codium Xian. A mouthful of a name. It sounded like a name for a prince. It almost didn't seem to fit the small dark haired boy who sat on the forest floor waiting for his mother. The five year old was not alone. A large, old, gray wolf lay beside him, it's muzzle laid upon his knee. Cody's hand was on it's head, petting it softly.
Xerxes may have been Cody's real first name, but he had always been called Cody, and he intended to keep it that way. Xerxes Xian was much too princely. Even for the little prince himself.
Cody was a prince. A prince of two completely different places. One was in a different time era, and the other was in a different realm all together. He had never really seen either kingdom.
It bothered him, actually. His parents refused to take him to either one because they felt each was dangerous. They had a right to think this, because in both kingdoms, many people wanted the royal family's blood.

Cody leaned down, hugging the wolf, "Moonlight, you're a good guy." He told the wolf with a smile.

((I repeat, this is open. But if you make me angry, I reserve the right to yell at you. So don't be stupid. And at least TRY to type right. Thankies!))

Ginny was sitting outside of the Three Broomsticks, on a small wooden bench. She wasn't wearing robes, like almost everyone else. Instead, she had on jeans and a large zip up black hoodie, which covered her hands as she sat huddled on the bench. Her strikingly red hair fell across her shoulders in soft waves, blowing up slightly with the breeze. Her face was set in a small frown, her eyes watching everyone and anyone that passed. She looked 17, maybe 18, but wasn't either.

It was a beautiful day, but Ginny was chilly most of the time. Especially now, she had a terrible cold. Nonetheless, she was waiting to meet someone, and was looking for them. Two people actually, was what she was expecting. So she sat huddled up in her oversized hoodie, watching as teachers and students walked past.

Hufflepuff / Making Extra Money
April 28, 2008, 09:35:33 AM
When Ginny had become a substitute teacher at age 15, it had been to make money. Now, at 21 years old, she didn't need money. She had millions saved in so many different banks across the world, she never had to worry about her financial situation.

But for some reason, she loved Hogwarts. She loved teaching. And so she had taken back her old job at Hogwarts as a part-time teacher. On days that she worked, she left Cody with Xaver, or took him to her parent's house. They loved having Cody for the day.

Today she was subbing for Charms. She was okay at charms, and wasn't too worried about the subject. It was the kids she was worried about. Most of them didn't know her, and so they'd act out until she flipped out.

Now she sat outside of the school, on the steps. She had free periods for the first period of the day, so she could do what she wanted.

Other Books & Movies / Juno
April 21, 2008, 10:43:14 AM
Have any of you seen Juno?

I doubt it, 'cause it's not exactly a movie for the immature, but I found it to be one of the best movies I've seen in a long time.

It's about a 16 year old girl named Juno, who is impregnated by her best friend, Paulie Bleeker. While she originally plans to have an abortion, she decides instead to give the baby up for adoption. She finds an ad for a wealthy couple, and incidentally goes through nine months of growing up.

I don't do it justice, I'm afraid. But I'll tell you this; I'm pretty much heartless, and I never cry at movies. I cried during Juno. It is possibly one of my favorite movies, and I recommend it for anyone who has gone through a teenage pregnancy, or has someone close to them that has.

The Forest / Angel Cake
April 14, 2008, 09:30:02 AM
It was a beautiful day out, as far as spring time goes. Just warm enough to be outside, but just cold enough to need a sweatshirt to stay warm. At least in Ginny's case. Cody ran around in a t-shirt and jeans, the cold hardly bothering him.

Ginny sat on the ground, watching the skies with a blank face. Cody sat playing a few feet away. Suddenly he dropped his toys and walked over to her, sitting beside her and putting his head against her arm.

"Mom? When's Dad coming home?"

"Don't know." Don't care. Ginny thought the last to herself, then sighed. She cared, even as angry as she was. She cared more than she wanted to admit. Hadn't she just been searching the skies for his winged form?
She was just mad about the whole court thing.

"Why does he have to leave so much? Why can't he take us with him?" Cody looked up at her sadly.

"Well...angel, he's the king in his realm. He has to take care of his people, you know." Ginny wrapped one arm around Cody, hugging him to her and smiling slightly.

Cody sighed, "But...what about us, Mom? Aren't we his people? Why can't we go with him?"

Ginny smiled tightly, Cody was full of questions today. She looked down at his dark hair, his ice blue eyes, and wondered briefly why his wings weren't visible. Cody seemed to relax about them more when Xaver was home. She hugged him again, finally answering him, "Cause it's dangerous there. And some people there don't like Dad a whole lot."

She paused, "They'd try to use you to hurt him. And if something happened to you...well, remember how mad your dad was when his brother came after us?"

Cody nodded, his eyes growing wide as he remembered, 'Yeah! Boy, he was MAAAAD!"

Ginny chuckled, "Yes, he was. Well, that's why he doesn't take you with him."

Cody thought for a moment, fiddling with her fingers, "Why can't he take both of us then? I'd be safer with you around, wouldn't I?"

Ginny knew he wanted her to agree, but she couldn't. She was terrified of Xaver's family. She felt she was no match for them. She knew she wouldn't be able to protect Cody, and she told him as much, "Angel, I don't think that's a good idea."

"Well...I wanna go." Cody folded his arms, pouting. Ginny tweaked his nose, gently, making him frown at her, "Mom!"

Ginny shook her head, "Go play with your toys. We'll talk about this later angel cake."
