It was just another normal day in the Weasley home, and everyone was still sound asleep. Ginny groaned as she felt the sun's rays hit her eyes, and she quickly hid under the covers.
"Stupid sun!" she growled. But as she concentrated on going back to sleep, she didn't hear the footsteps quietly treading across her room and near her bed. The figure smiled evilly, geting closer to its victim. Then he jumped on the bed hard, causing Ginny to shriek in surprise and fall off the bed. Her muffled cries of anger were heard, and the figure laughed.
"Good morning sunshine," said Fred, grinning. His eyes widened as he saw her head appear behind the mattress, her hair in all different directions.
"Fred," she exclaimed, "I'm going to kill you!"
"Now now, dear sister, there's no need to go to extreme measures like that!" snickered Fred.
"I'm going to get you, Fred! Now you're going to suffer immense pain for waking me up this early in the morning!"
"Oh no, I'm so afraid! Oh, and by the way, Ginny, say cheese!" Ginny gasped as she saw the camera in her hand, the light flashing quickly. She threw a shoe at him which missed him by a mere few inches. He turned around and dashed for the door, but hit his knee on her bookcase, causing a few boxes to fall onto the ground. As Fred howled in pain Ginny grinned.
"Serves you right, you idiot!" she screamed, chasing him down the stairs. She couldn't believe he had taken a picture of her right when she woke up!! And her hair! They made it to the kitchen and Fred held the Muggle camera in his hands, smiling devilishly.
"Dad got it from his office! Isn't it wonderful?"
"You have one last warning, Fred. If you appreaciate living you will give that camera to me!"
"I don't think so. This is priceless!"
"Yeah, well, you're gonna be priceless when I finish with you!" she glared, chasing him around the table. Their laughter rang throughout the house, and soon Ron was awake from the screaming.
"Shut up!" he screamed, throwing the pillow over his head. They continued fighting, toally ignoring Ron's words. Soon Ginny and Fred were back upstairs, and she had him cornered near her room.
"It's all over Fred. Give me the camrera." his eyes widened, for he knew it was the end. As he glanced around the area, he had a determinded look on his face. He ran and did some weird jump over Ginny, which she screamed and ducked.
"CURSE YOU FOR BEING DOUBLE-JOINTED, FRED!" when they went back into the kitchen he started to scream like a girl when she grabbed his hair, making him drop the camera onto the table.
"Ow, Ginny! Let go! I'm going to haave bald patch because of you!" Ginny giggled.
"That would be pretty funny."
"You're cruel, Ginny! Ow!" he screamed as she tugged on his short red locks.
"And serves you right!"
Meanwhile, Ron was upstairs, making his way to Ginny's room. He rolled his eyes at the mess they made, and he picked up the stray boxes that fell from the bookcase. As he picked up some papers, he quickly glanced at them. They were letters. His mind began to go astray as he thought of what the letters might have said.
Maybe she's got a secret life. He snorted at the thought. Ginny? Secret life? Those two would never go hand-in-hand. He quikly opened one letter, curiousity getting the best of him. One peak wouldn't hurt now, would it?
As he glanced at the parchement, he marveled at how neat and tidy the writing was. But as he read the paper, his eyes widened and he felt his heart skip a beat.
Red,
I know it's been awhile since I've written and I'm sorry for that. This may be the last letter I can write to you until this whole war is over with. Voldemort is getting more powerful by the minute, so we have to act fast. I do not have time to write much, but I just wanted to say I love you and can't wait to see you. Now don't think I'm getting all sentimental, you know I'm not like that, so don't press your luck. I have to go now, we're about to attack again. Don't try to write me back, because I won't get it.
See you soon Red.
Ron glanced at the letter, his eyes wide. Who sent Ginny this letter? Whoever it was, they left no name, and no hint of who they were.
"Merlin!" he gasped, "Ginny does have a secret life!"
Meanwhile, Ginny had let Fred go but still has posession of the camera. While Fred tried to get it back, she giggled as he tickled her.
"F-Fred!" she cried, trying to push him away, "s-s-stop!" Fred grinned and continued ticling her mercilessly. But as soon as she heard Ron's shouting they both stopped.
"GINNY!"
"Oh, someone got Ickle Ronniekins mad." Ginny glared. As soon as Ron made it downstairs her eyes widened at the letter in his hand.
"Ginny, what's this?" he glared. Ginny dropped the camera, her mouth in the shape of on 'o'.
Oh crap, she thought.

Dun dun dun....well, hope you liked it! I'll explain more about the letter in the next chapter, so whatever seems confusing to you will be explained later on. I know there are many holes and questions, but they will be answered!
*Smiles darkly* Thanks and a very big BUMP to you.
hey! thanks Kiara! :D
heres the next chap!
As she saw Ron's face she felt her own anger start to surface. How dare he try and yell at her when he was getting into her personal business!
"It's not like it's any of your business, Ron!" she shouted, "because you invaded my privacy! So you don't deserve to know!" Ron now became furious, his eyes boring into hers.
"But you're my sister! So I do deserve to know!" Ginny walked over to him and tried to snatch the letter away, but he was much taller than her and was able to keep her from getting it.
"Give it to me, Ron!" she screamed, standing on her toes.
"Not until you tell me who this person is!"
"No! It's none of your business!" the commotion was heard outside the kitchen and Harry came in, his eyes wide.
"I can hear you two upstairs! What's going on?" Ginny felt her cheeks redden. Now, not only Ron and Fred knew, but now Harry knew. Before she could answer Ron answered for her.
"Harry, Ginny has a guy she won't tell us about! She even has a letter from him!" he said, then started to read out the letter.
"Dear Red, I know it's been-"
"Ron," she said in a low tone, her eyes shining with fury and sadness, "give me the letter." her fists were clenching and unclenching, and she could only hold back for so long.
"No," he growled. Her eyes started to brim with tears for that letter was the only thing that gave her hope that the man she loved was still alive.
"You have one last chance. Don't make me do something I'll regret later." Ron hadn't been close with Ginny for awhile, and hadn't known she had changed alot as a person, and now wasn't afraid to speak up or defend herself. Fred always knew she was like this, but she was always scared of what people would think of her. They had a certain image of her, and if they didn't see what they wanted, she thought she would not be accepted.
But now she no longer cared, for the man that wrote that letter to her made her realize that if the people she hung out with really loved her, they'd take her any way, just the way she is. Fred noticed her anger and knew she was going to give a beat down to Ron. He was making little motions with his hands, telling Ron to give it up, but he didn't budge.
Ron smiled smugly, knowing that his little sister Ginny would cave in and admit her secret. She growled, kicking Ron in the groin then kicked him in the shin, making him drop to the ground, moaning from the intense pain. Fred and Harry both winced at the sight, but Fred wasn't surprised at what she had done.
"Ginny!" Ron screamed, watching her pick up the letter and run out the kitchen door, "you can't hide it for long!" Harry had never seen this side of Ginny before, and he was in shock. George started to come downstairs and saw Ron holding his privates.
"What's up with him, Fred?"
"Ginny kneed him in the groin and then kicked him in the shin."
"Oooh....right in the happy sacs," he shuttered. Fred snickered, helping his brother up and got some ice. He shook his head seeing Ron holding the ice bag between his legs, and Harry saw him walk quickly near the kitchen table.
"What are you doing, Fred?" asked Harry. Fred beamed as he brought out the Muggle camera, glancing at Ron.
"Another priceless photo! This is too good to be true!"
Ron's face showed pure horror.
"FRED!!!!"
An evil cackle ran throughout the Weasley home.

Ginny ran to the garden, tears falling down her pale face. How dare Ron do that to her! Embarrass her in front of all those people! She hastily wiped the tears away, sniffing. She glanced down at the letter, her hands softly caressing it, as if it were a priceless treasure. And to her it was. One lone tear made it onto the letter, and she whispered softly.
"I miss you." She looked up at the sky, watching the clouds pass by. No matter how long she would wait for him. She held the letter close to her chest, trying to subdue her sobs, but they didn't cease. What if he didn't return? What would happen next? She could never move on without him. To her, he was her life. And this letter was the only thing that prevented her heart from breaking into a million places. She then felt a hand on her shoulder and looked up. It was Harry.
"Hi, Ginny," he said softly.
"Hi," she sniffed.
"What's wrong? Were you embarrassed back there?" he asked, taking a seat next to her.
"Somewhat. But it isn't that."
"What is it then? You know you can tell me, Ginny." she snorted. Harry's eyes widened.
"What?! You can, I won't say anything."
"You're acting like we're best pals, Harry. You haven't spoken to me since you've come back from the war." He closed his mouth, not knowing what to say. It was true. The war was horrible, and many people suffered and died, but it was finally over. Voldemort was gone and would never return.
But few wizards remained, fighting what was left of Voldemort's followers, and many were waiting for their loved ones to come home. Harry arrived back to the Weasley home about two months ago, and Ron had come back four months ago. Ginny wanted to help, but when her brothers came back injured, she had to take care of them. Now finding out she was in love with a man fighting against Voldemort deeply intrigued Harry.
"You've changed, Harry."
"So have you," he said with a small smile.
"I'm just sick of trying to meet other people's expectations."
"I understand. And Ginny, I'm sorry for not talking to you since I returned. I just...need to figure some things out right now. But I'm willing to make it up to you." she smiled. She had gotten over Harry about three years ago, and she now just saw him as a friend.
"Well, okay then. But why didn't you speak to me?"
"Well, don't take it personally, I didn't speak to alot of people I knew. I'd rather not get into it. What's done is done, I just want to focus on the present now." his eyes showed sadness, and she knew something terrible had happened. But she didn't want to push him.
"We've all suffered from this, one way or another. I'm just glad it's over." Harry nodded.
"Likewise." they stayed in a comfortable silence, and Ginny brushed some stray hairs from her eyes.
"So...uh...I don't mean to pry, you don't have to answer...who's the letter from?"
"Not saying," she replied automatically.
"Okay, okay," he said, "but one more question. Do you love him?"
"More than any of will ever know. I'd die for that man. I'd give up everything for him." his eyes widened.
"Really?"
"Yes," she said with a hint of a smile on her face. Just the mere thought of him brought light into the darkest part of her soul.
"I should go in," she whispered, folding up the letter, "you coming inside too? I'll make us some tea. I promise I won't screw it up," she said with a smile. He laughed, his emerald eyes twinkling.
"Nah, I'll stay out here."
"As you wish," she said, walking back into the kitchen. She saw Ron sitting in the chair still, the ice beginning to melt.
"Comfortable, Ron?" she asked, her tone cold.
"No need to ask that, Ginny. See? Squinty eyes, crossed legs...he couldn't get more comfortable than that!" said George, while Fred looked sympathetically at Ron, walking oddly to get more ice.
"Whatever, Ginny, you have alot of nerve. Going behind our backs to see a guy. Probably not worth the trouble anyways, he'd probably dump you when he gets back. You're a fling to him, you know that?" said Ron darkly, a cold smile dancing across his lips. Ginny dropped the glass cup she was holding when she was making tea, and sent a murderous glance towards him.
"Ron, I thought you could stoop no lower. Looks like you can!" she ignored Ron, knowing that was his way to get Ginny to tell him the mysterious man she was exchanging letters with. Ron was getting frustrated and Fred and George noticed the tension in the room.
"It's okay, I'm leaving guys," she said to the twins, knowing they were very uncomfortable with the silence.
"Thank God," mumbled Ron, then as she went upstairs, she heard Ron call to her.
"What are you doing, Gin? Writing to that guy? Lying to us again?" she ignored him and continued going upstairs, tears slowly falling down her face.
She walked back to her room and placed the letter in a new hiding space, and she knew that this time no one would find it. She took one glance at the paper before placing it in its hidden space.
I just wanted to say I miss you and can't wait to see you.
"I miss you too, Draco," she said softly, before putting the letter away.
