Harry Potter Fan

     Kaira woke up in her room, she had been made Head Girl of Hoggwarts this year so she didn't share the dorm with the other 7th years.  SHe lay there not wanting to get up quite yet.  This was the first time she'd woken up and not had a boyfriend to tell good morning to.  He Ex-Boyfriend had moved away during the last part of their 6th year.  He left with out even saying good by.  Kiara understood, it was hard for him.  

    After layng there for quite some time, she heard som one caome in.  "Kiara, are you awake?"  It was Isis, a girl she'd gotten to know pretty well over the last couple years and probably one of her best friends.  "Ya Isis, I'm up.  Or atleast I'm awake."  Kiara replied sleepily.  "Good, take your shower then lets get down to breakfast.  Classes start today ya know and the faster we get through them, the faster the weekend comes."  Isis said to her.  Kiara smiled.  She knew what Isis was talking about and why she was so anxious fgor the week end to get here.  isis had a boy friend, fiance' really, his name was Justin, he had graduated last year and was working for Ginggots bank as a charm breaker now.  Although his job kept him busy and moving all over, he always seemed to make sure he spent pleanty of time with Isis and had promised, he'd visit her every weekend.  "Alright hun, I'm getting up.  Althoughm you do realise that it makes no difference as to how fast we get ready, the school IS still on a schedual, you know."  Kiara gigglled a little.  Isis smiled "I know but.."  she left it as is.  Kiara swung her legs over the side of her bed and stood up.  "I'll see youi down stairs in a bit."  Isis smiled and left.

    Kiara went to her shower ands undressed then stepped in.  She stood to the side as she adjusted the water then stepped into the spray, allowing it to flow over her body for a bit.  After she finished, she turned the water off and heard some one in the room.  "Isis, is that you?  Hey, hand me my towel, would you?"  A hand reached in the shower, holding out a towel, it wasn't Isis's hand, it belonged to a male.  Kiara snatched the towel and quickly pout it around her.  "Who is it?  who's there?"  she poked her head out to find Draco Malfoy standing in her bathroom, with a smile on his handsome face.  Draco and Kiara never really got along, over the last couple years, she had always figured it was because of her ex, he and Draco detested one another.  'What are you doing in here?"  Kaira demanded as she stepped from the shower.  Draco turned to look upon her.  He noticed that the towel he'd given her just barely coverd her.  he enjoyed the sight.  "Oh, I just came to ask you a question, Isis told me where to find you."  He tore his gaze away from her perfect thighs and forced himself to look at her face.  "Oh, she did, did she?  Well, make it quick, I've got to get dressed and you sir, should not be in here."  Kiara replied, although for some reason, his presence didn't alarm her at all, on the contrary, she found that alarmingly enough, she quite enjoyed it.  "Well, we're looking for a new keeper for the team and, I've seen you fly and was wondering if you wouldn't perhaps consider trying out on Friday?"  Draco asked.  Kiara thought for a moment, then, noticing how he was hveing a hard time keeping his eyes to her face, she prolonged her answer, just to teas him a bit more.  When finally she did answer, Draco had to look up sharply to catch her eye.  "I'll be there, Draco.  Now, if you dodn't mind..."  Draco smiled.."Thanks, I'll see you at breakfast then.  He left.

 Kaira came down the stairs, Isis saw her and a great smile crossed her face.  Kiara narrowed her eyes.  "Your a brat, you know that, don't you."  Kiara giggled.  "Poor guy, I don't think I've ever seen him so, nervous, in the whole time I've known him."  Isis grabbed Kiara's arm and  pulled her towards the door.  "We can talk and walk at the same time, lets go..."  Kiara laughed.  "I just have one question.  Why did he even bother to think about me in the first place, I thought Draco hated me."  Kiara stated more than asked.  "I don't know, maybe he really just neeeds a good Keeper for the team."  Isis reasponded.  "Ya, and WHY did you send him into the shower room?  I owe you one for that ya know."  Kaira replied as they sat down to the table for breakfast.  "I know, I know.  I just couldn't resist.  You were taking way to long up there and it was the quickest thing I could think of to get you out."  Isis laughed.  Kiara noticed Draco looking over at them from the other end of the table.  She smiled then turned her attention to her breakfast.  "I think he might actualy like you, Kiara."  Isis said after taking a drink from her juice.  Kiara nearly choked. "You've got to be kidding.  Draco Malfoy only likes one thing about girls and it isn't their minds.  No thanks, as interesting as the prospect could be, I'd rather not go loosing my virginity to a player of the likes of him.  End of story, got it."  Isis nodded but still, she had a feeling.  Perhaps another time she'd bring it up again.  She glanced over to Draco and noticed him looking at Kaira again.  

 Kiara, Hermione and Isis were on their way to Poitions.  Harry and Ron were walking along behind.  "Would you two hurry it up a bit."  Isis scolded the two boys.  "Your going to make us late."  Ron rolled his eyes, "Only a Slytherin would want to get to Potions on time."  Kiara turned on him. "And just What, may I ask is wrong with getting to class on time, Mr. Weasley?"  Harry held back a smile.  Kaira and Ron were always at one anothers throats.  It seemed to become a game for them over the years.  Neither one ever really ment anything by their comments and the rest of the school had become accustomed to their arguments by now.  "Oh, I don't have time for this."  Kaira turned back around and strode off in to the class room.

TOTALLY AWSOME KIARA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(can I come in a wee bit?)

  Potions Class, well all their calsses for that matter, were differnet now.  Since they were now, only taking those calsses that they either, one, passed with high scores in their O.W.L's ar two, they also needed to purse the studdy to help get hem the career they wanted after they graduated.  So, the students in each class were now a mixture of all the Houses instead of just the usual two.  Draco, ofcourse was there.  He excelled in Potions, it was the one class were he actuallt even got better scores than Hermione.  He looked up when Kiara enterd the room.  He hoped he'd get her attention but instead, she went and sat with her brother and Isis.  Lavender Potter, another of Kaira's friends, stepped into the room.  "Hi Lav."  Kiara smiled.  "Lavender took her seat next to Draco.  She smiled over at Kaira and waved at Harry.  Lavender was really more than a friend, she was actually, the daughter of James and Lilly Potter.  She and Harry had known each other when they were verry young, but after the attack, they were seperated, Lavender going to other family members while Harry went to the Dursley's.  

    Professor Snape walked into the room.  He studied this years class closely.  "I have hand picked, each of you for this years class.  You can be assured, that every one you see here is not only proficient in potions makeing but also, have mastered, to a point, the art.  To be honest, I was quite surpised to find, some of you, made the list."  He paused and layed his cold dark eyes upon Harry.  They still, did not get along.  Snapes, excepting him into his 7th year class was a huge step for him.  He had, at first, passed him by then had to be honest to himself and for the first and, probably the only time ever, he put his teaching before his personal matters and put Harry on his list.  "Well, we should then get started.  I will not cusion this for you at all, this year will be the hardest you have ever had.  I will NOT except poorly done work and all, assignments WILL, be turned in on time.  Three mistakes and you are out.  So long as every one has that down, lets begin..."

 Professor Snape held true to his word and by the time class was over, they all had an assignment due by Friday that would take them quite sometome to finish.

  Kiara started out the door with Isis and Lavender on either side, they were discussing their class scheduals.  Draco walked out and bumped into Kiara.  "Hey, watch it!"  Kiara snarled.  "Sorry, Kaira, didn't see you there."  Draco smiled.  "Ya sure you didn't."  Kiara grabbed Isis and Lavender by the hands and drug them away as quickly as possible.  Draco smiled after them.  He really did do it on purpose and as he watched Kiara walk away with the other girls, he suddenly came to a shocking realization.  I've got to have her.  He said quietly so no one else would here.  He didn't realize it yet but, there was more to it than what he thought.  Draco never felt this way about anyone.  Normaly, he'd see a prety girl and she just became another conquest for him.  Once he had her, he didn't want her any longer.  He knew though that Kaira was a challenge that he had the possibility of not compleeting and that only made him want her all the more.  Kiara was somehow different to him.  Ya, he wanted her but, it wasn't quite the same.  He just shook his head and mentally kicked himself, She hates you twit.  Stop thinking about it.  Was his thought as he headed for Defence Against the Dark Arts.

     Kaira for once, enterd the Great Hall for lunch, alone.  Her normal swarm of frineds, already seated at their tables.  Kiara headed for the Gryfindor table.  She hadn't had a chance to see her cousin Emily yet today and kinda missed her.  "Hi Em."  Kiara smiled as she walked up to the table.  Emily turned and smiled then jumped up to hug her.  "Hi -K- "  That's what she regulary callled Kiara was -K-.  "How ya doing girl, heard your the new head girl this year.  Good job."  Emily was always so bright, she could always turn a persons bad mood around.  She was also, Ron's girl.  The two of them talked for a bit then Kaira went back to her own table.

    Draco watched her as she headed over, this time, it did not go unnoticed by Kiara.  She glared at him.  For some reason, she just felt like she wanted to argue with him, not that he had done anything wrong but, she wanted to hurt him.  Draco didn't look away. As a matter of fact, he annoyingly smiled, that wounderfull smile of his at her.  Kaira's mood changed, his smile had just done it's job and made her insides feel like they were on fire, she smiled back.  Compleatly confused now, she went and sat between Isis and Andy, another Slytherin girl and, daughter of Sirius Black.  "Hey girls, what's up?"  Kiara asked.  Isis, looked at Kiara knowingly.  "I hate to tell you I told you so but.."  She shruged.  Andy smiled as well, "You know Kaira...I think Isis is right on this one.  Maybe you should explore your options here."  Kiara shook her head.  "Sorry girls, I just don't think I can trust a guy who's had just about all the girls in this school in bed with him at one point or another.  No, I won't let myself fall for him."  With that said, Kiara began eating her lunch, ignoring the constant feeling of being watched from the other end of the table.

    After classes were over for the day, Kiara headed to the library to start in on her Potions home work.  She had too many other things to do, what with being head girl and all, to play around.  She stepped into the library and went straight to a table near the back, so she would be away from all the chattering first years.

  She had just started in on her essay when she heard that familiar drawl of Draco Malfoy, he had come into the library with those two thugs, Crabbe and Goyle.  They seem to have always clung to him like he was a God or somehting.  To Kaira, it was almost pethetic.  Draco noticed her sitting alone so went over and sat across from her.  Crabbe and Goyle stood, just behind him.  Kaira kept writing, not even looking up, in hope that he'd just go away.  Of course, he didn't.  "So, having fun?"  He asked.  Kiara sighed then looked up at him, totaly intending to come back with a smart comment.  however, once she looked into those eyes, she couldn't do it.  "As fun as one can have, when doing potions work, why do you ask?"  she said instead.  Draco smiled at her.  "Oh, just to make conversation, I guess."  He turned around to Crabbe and Goyle, "Would you two mind, sitting else where?"  The two thugs looked a little hurt but left with out a word and sat at another table.  "I was wondering"  Draco started then paused, to make sure she was listening.  "You wouldn't happen to be going to the Opening day dance with any one, would you?"  Kiara felt a sudden hot flash.  She wanted to say she wasn't going but as hard as she try fight it, she lost.  "No, I'm not, why?"  If she was going to end up going with him, she might as well make him ask her properly.  She sure wasn't going to jump for joy and giggle like all the others did when he aproached them.  Draco seemed to be taken off guard by this.  He was so used to being able to just smile at a girl and have her swooning all over him, ready to do anything, that this attitude with wich Kaira had taken was, well, kinda nice.  "I-I, what I'm trying to say is, will you go with me?  To the dance that is."  Kaira smiled but didn't answer right away.  Instead, she turned back to her essay and finished off the paragraph she was writing, making him wait.  When she had finished, she looked back up and sighed.  "Ok, seeing as though your the first to ask, I'll go with you."  She paused, "Oh, and my dress is a pale green so, you might want to be sure to match it."  With that said, she went back to her Potions and ignord any further attempt on his part at a conversation.  Eventually, Draco got back up and left the library, confused as ever.  Kaira watched him go.  She didn't like the feelings that were forming inside her for this guy.  She knew them well and was certain, she couldn't afford having them for Draco Malfoy, of all people.  Get a grip girl.  She thought then turned back to her essay, however, she couldn't concentrate now so she closed the book and rolled up her parchment then walked out into the hall and back to the common room.

  Kiara walked into the common room to find Isis and Andy talking furiously about something.  "Hi girls.  Whatcha talking about?"  They both jumped when they heard Kaira's voice.  "Oh, we were just discussing you and Draco."  Isis replied honestly.  "Oh, were you now?"  Kaira said as she placed her books on a table and sat down in a chair across form them.  "And just what, may I ask, were you dreaming up this time?"  Kaira questioned.  Andy and Isis looked at one another then began to giggle, anoyingly.  "Draco told Isis that you and him were going tho the dance together."  Andy blurted out.  "Is it true?"  Isis said.  Kiara frowned.  "If dear sweet Draco said so, it must be, right?"  Kiara said a bit waspishly.  She was annoyed that he had told her fiends about it before she had a chance to.  I'll definatley have to speek to him about this.  She thought.  "Look, he asked me and I said I'd go, it's not as though we were going to get married or somthing.  Big deal, a dance."  Kaira stood up and grabbed her things then stormed off to her room.  Isis and Andy looked at each other and smiled.  "She's falling for him."  Isis said.  "I know, it's so cute."  Andy agreed.

    Friday morning arrived, Kiara was once again, just waking up when she felt a hand on her shoulder.  "I'm getting up Isis, leave me alone."  She groaned.  "Kiara?  Hey.."  Kaira sat up quickly.  "What the Hell, are you doing in here?  Get out!"  Kiara yelled.  "Look, it's already five o'clock, try-outs start in an hour and your not even dressed yet, sorry but, I thought I should come and get you."  Draco replied.  Kiara sighed.  "Look, Draco.  Maybe I don't want to try out after all, find some one else."  Kaira said angrily.  Draco looked as though he were about ready to faint.  "What do you meen?  Your our best hope.  Look, I;m sorry for comming in here, don't not go, just because your mad at me... we need you Kaira."  He sounded so desperate that Kaira finally gave in.  "Ok, I'll get dressed and meet you down stairs, noe OUT!"  Draco smiled and quickly left the room.  Kiara got up and dressed then went down stairs.  "I can't believe I'm up and leaving the castle before breakfast."  Kaira grumbled as she and Draco headed for the pitch.  "Look, it's not so bad, when we're done, you can---"  Kiara cut him off with a glare.  "Look, don't talk to me just now, I'm not to friendly before breakfast."  Kiara walked on ahead holding her new Silver Pheonix.  Draco watched her walk away and followed just far enmough behind her so he could admire her.

 Try outs were a laugh, Kiara was the only one worth anything and the rest just sulked back inside when they were over.  Draco and the rest of the team seemed pretty pleased with her.  "Look, if you all don't mind, I'm happy, yea!  However, right now, I really think I need to get somthing to eat before I kill some one and we have to have another try out for another position.  See ya around."  Kaira walked off, leaving a stunned group of teenagers behind her.  Draco ran and caught up.  "You were Great!"  he exclaimed as she walk quickly into the castel.  "No, I wasn't but thanks all the same.  If you want to see great, nextime, wait until after I've eaten."  Kiara whent to the Slytherin table and started to fill her plate with food.  Draco sat next to her.  "Look-"  Kaira said after she had swollowed her toast.  "Just because I'm going to the dance with you doesn't meen I want to sit with you and hang out all day or anything."  Kaira told him, and imediately regretted it.  Her words took the smile right off his face.  He looked hurt, she hadn't meant to.  "Draco, I'm sorry.."  she started.  "No, that's ok Kiara, I understand.  Maybe, this is all a mistake I--"  Kaira put her hand on his arm.  "No, really..i am sorry.   it's just, Hey, you wanna hang out after class, we could go to Hogsmead."  Kiara smiled.  This seemed to get his attention.  "Ya, sounds good.  It's a date then?"  Draco smiled.  As much as she wanted to say no, it's not a date, she couldn't stand to see him look sad again.  "Ya, it's a date."  she smiled back.  "Good, then I'll see you in class."  Draco got up and left the hall to go nad change.  Kaira finished eating then did the same.  When she got down to the common room, Isis and Andy were just heading out.  "How'd it go?"  isis asked.  "I'm the new Keeper."  Kaira replied.  "Of course you are.  All those hours spent with Harry, why wouldn't you be?"  Andy replied.  "Ya, Hey, I've got a show and change, I'll see you two later, ok?"  They left to breakfast and Kaira went up to her room.

     When Kiara opened her door, she saw that some one had been there.  On her bed was a single, perfect red rose, under which lay a note.  She smiled as she walked over, picking up the rose and bringing it to her face and running it's soft peddles down her cheek and breathing in the sweet sent.  She reached down and picked up the note and read:

Late at night when I'm in bed
What seems like a picture begins in my head.
And as my eyes begin to shut,
My body feels as it is fluttering up.
Then as amazing as it seems,
The picture becomes clearer and clearer in my dreams.

But what does the picture hold?
I still can't make it out.
But as it begins to unfold,
I know there is no doubt.

It's a picture of a man and a woman standing side by side,
With happiness in their eyes.
But suddenly the picture comes to a stop.
Then the man looks like me,
The woman I still can't make out.
But how can this be?
Everything was going right and I was going to see
The woman I loved and was going to be with for eternity.

The picture isn't coming out and I guess I will have to wait and see
To find out who the woman is standing next to me.
For maybe we might get together and I hope this dream comes true.

But now I know I won't have to wait for her;
Because the woman in my arms is you.

Kiara smiled.  Oh, he's good.  she said quietly with a smile. Then she layed the rose on her night stand and folded the note and put it neatly into her top drawer. then Kiara walked into the shower and commenced to get ready for the day.


 later that day, after classes were over, Kiara walked with Isis and Andy back to their common room.  Kiara hadn't said anything about her little surpise earlier that morning and didn't plan to.  This was between her and Draco and for some reason, she felt as if any one else getting involded was an intusion on her feelings, feelings that she still didn't want to admit.

 "So, Andy, who are going with to the dance?"  isis asked.  Andy smiled.  "Oh, Zorin asked me if I'd go with him."  Andy replied, looking a bit guilty at Isis.  Isis only laughed.  "Don't look so guilty Andy, we never really went out, besides, I'm engaged now, remember."  They laughed, Kiara along with them.  "Hey, I've gotta go change, going into Hogsmead with Draco.  What are you two up to?"  Kiara spoke.  Isis and Andy smiled.  "Oh, so your going to Hogsmead with him huh?  No, you don't like him at all."  Andy said, still smiling at her.  Kiara sighed.  "I never said I disliked him, I just said that I wouldn't go out with him."  Kiara replied truethfully.  Then she turned and strode off to her room to get ready.  "She likes him.  It'll take her a while to realize it, but she does---"  Isis smiled.

Kiara comes down from her room, wearing a pair of Muggle jeans and a belly shirt with the word PRINCESS written across the front.  Draco was sitting with Isis and Andy, waiting.  "You redy?"  He asked, smiling at what he saw.  "Ya, you?"  Kiara flashed Isis and Andy a questioning glace.  She knew they were drilling him for answers, she could tell by the way he had practically jumped when she entered the room.  Draco stood and offerd her his hand, Kiara hesitated but in the end, took it.  Togetherr they walked out of the room.

 "So, do you think by the end of the day, they'll be an item?"  Andy asked.  Isis shook her head.  "No, Kiara wont let that happen.  You heard her as plain as I did, I think, perhaps that she may need a little push.  What do you say?"  Andy smiled devilishly at Isis and they both walked silently out the common room on their way to find Emily.

    Kiara and Draco enterd the Threebroomsticks a little later.  Kiara was no longer holding his hand but was, walking next to him and smiling.  They had a pleasent walk over here.  They had talked at great length about Quidditch and now, were talking about the upcoming dance.  Kiara took her seat at the back table and Draco had left to get them drinks.  Ron and Harry were at the next table, "Hi Kiara, who you here with?"  Harry asked.  Kiara looked up to the counter where Draco was currently residing, then back to Harry.  Harry's brow furrowed.  "You don't meen to tell me that you and Malfoy---?'  Kaira smiled at her brother with a warmth that would have melted any other guy.  "Harry, you know me better than that.  I- I'm just here with him as friends.  He did help me get on the team, you know."  Kaira said.  "Oh, ya...congrats on that one.  I knew you'd be doing that sometime."  Harry replied, smiling at her.  

    Draco returned to the table with their drinks.  "Hello, Slytherin" Harry said to Draco.  Draco turned to Harry.  "Potter."  then turned his attention back to Kiara.  Draco and Harry had made amends, some what, over the last year.  With out his father around, Draco had become a different person, he no longer had to hold up to his fathers expectations of him and so, in the end, had secreatly thanked Harry for sending his father to Azkaban Prison.  Ron still, of course, hated the sight of Draco and the feeling was totaly mutual.  They just couldn't get along.  No matter how their friends tried.  

    Hernione, Isis, Andy, Zorin, Emily and Justin came walking into the bar.  They all took a seat with Harry and Ron.  "Hi K."  It was Emily.  Kiara's face brightend.  "Hi Em!'  Draco turned and looked at the group.  "Hi Draco, Kaira."  Justin greeted.  "Oh, you made it.  Are you staying for the dance on Sunday?"  Kiara asked, smiling at the happy look Isis held.  Justin explained that he would be there for the dance.  Draco and Kiara decided to leave after a while.  Kiara figured it was getting a bit crowded with people that Draco only just barely got along with so took him out of there.  "Sorry for that Draco."  Kaira said to him.  Draco put his hand around hers again, Kiara looked down at their hands, then back to Draco and smiled.  What am I doing?  She thought to herself.  Draco notice her nervouseness and so laced his fingers with hers, knowing now that she really did like him.  "Hey, lets go to for a walk."  He suggested.  Kiara only nodded, knowing all to well that she shouldn't.  They walked for a long time, and eventually ended up in the forest.  Kiara looked around.  "Where are we?"  She asked.  Draco smiled.  "We are in a forewst, just behind Hogsmead.  It's ok, I've been here before."  He replied then imedeatly relised his mistake.  Kiara withdrew her hand from his and once again became a fixture of ice.  "Oh, so you have.  Well, it's nice, can we go back now?"  She said a bit cooly to him.  Draco sighed.  "Look, I'm sorry Kaira, I---"  But Kiara had already begun her walk back, Draco followed.

Good keep going.

  "Kiara wait up!"  Draco yelled up to her but Kaira was to angry to even hear.  What was I even thinking!  Draco Malfoy change, for me!  Ya, that's a laugh, and just when I was going to thank him for that stupid rose!  I must be going blind, didn't even see it coming, thinks he can take me to one of his old make-out spots, I don't think so!  Kiara was thnking to herself.  "Kiara!"  Draco stops chasing her and stands in the middle of the street, watching her go.  He sighs, "I'm sorry --"  Draco says quietly as he turns around and walks back to the Threebroomsticks, alone.  

    Kiara makes it back to the Slytherin common room and heads straight to her room, grabs the rose off her dresser and tears it apart.  She then opens her drawer and takes out the note, starts to tear it but stops and puts it away again. then she flops on her bed and stares at the celing.  No, I'm not going to cry about this, it's only Draco, it's ---  she stands back up and paces the floor.  "Dam it!"  

 Draco stops, just inside the bar, turns, back araound and heads to the castle.  No, she's going to listen to what I have to say.  I don't care if it kills her!  Draco quickly walks to the school.

 Kaira has walked back down the stairs and is staring at the porthole.  No, don't go back, stay... Oh what the hell am I doing.  Takes off out the porthole and hurries back out side, going back to Hogsmead.

    Draco rounds a corner and smacls into Kiara, they both hit the ground.  "HEY!  Watch --"  they both start and finish together.  Draco stands up as does Kiara.  "Look!  I am Not going to be another of your little conquest!  You --"  Draco cuts her off.  "Kiara!  Your NOT!  Didn't you get my note?  I meant every word of it!  Don't you get it!  I love you!"  Kiara gasped and Draco looked suprised as well.  He smiled, "I Love you."  He couldn't believe the ease of it.  It just came flowing out.  He'd never said those words before, he'd tried, but they wouldn't come to his lips until just now.  Kiara narrowed her eyes.  "You...what?"  She was still in shock, she knew he'd never told any one that before.  "I L-O-V-E you."  he said again.  Kiara just stood there, frozen to the spot.  She couldn't think, her mind had gone compleatly blank.  Draco stepped in closer mthen grabbed her hand and made her loko at him.  "Kiara, your not just another, how'd you put it?  Oh, conquest, for me.  I love you, always have.  I don't know how I can proove it but you'll see.  I will make you understand, you have to.  I won't give up."  Kiara looked deeply onto his eyes and then spoke.  "Draco, it's hard for me, all I've ever known you for is being a player and I always thought that you, hated me.  Now, all of a sudden, you come to me and say you love me and always have?  I don't know."  Draco smiled.  "Look, all I'm asking is that you give me a chance here.  No presure, I can wait, I've waited all this time already, what's a while longer.  You will see."  He then took her hand and laced his fingers in hers again.  "Lets walk."  Draco said.  Kiara followed, holding his hand in hers and hoping, he was telling the truth.

    Later, Kiara and Draco are sitting in the common room and Isis, Juatin and Andy came walking in, followed by Emily and Lavender.  "Hi ya."  Emily said as she walked over to Kaira and sits down next to her.  "Hi Em." Kaira replied, smiling at her.  She loved her cousin and was always happy to see her.  "Hey, it's almost dinner time, you coming down?"  Isis asked, still holding Justins had in hers.  Kiara lopked at Draco then back to Isis.  "No, we thought we'd have dinner in here tonight. Kinda, need to talk about things."  Emily raised her brow but thankfully, she didn't say anything.  "Ok then, lets get out of here and leave these two alone then."  Emily said, giving Kaira a knowing smile of encouragement.  Kiara returned it with one of her own.  The rest of the group, walked out into the hall.  "See, leave em' alone and they'll straighten this whole thing out themselves."  Emily told the rest.  "Like I said, Kiara may be a bit stong willed and once she gets her mind set on somthing, it's hard to turn it but, she's not blind."  Andy smiled. "Isis, you owe me a 2 knuts.  Pay up."  Juatin looked at them.  "Oh, we made a bet as to rather they would work this out by themselves or not, guess Andy wins.  Here ya go."  Isis hands over the money.  Emily laughed.  "You know Isis, you really should have talked to me before making that bet, you'd not be out the money, if you had."  They all laughed as they enterd the Great Hall for dinner.

    Kiara and Draco went up to Kaira's room, so they could be alone.  They magicked a table and chairs and their food up there.  Kiara sat down and began to eat.  Draco watched her.  "So, what do I need to do?"  He asked.  "Aren't you going to eat?"  Kiara replied, ignoring his question."  Draco gave her a half smile.  "Ya, right, I'm not really hunry." He replied, still watching her.  Kiara pushed her plate away and sighed.  "Draco, I don't know, like you said, just give me a little time to sort through all this, you dumped a pretty big load on me, you know."  Kiara paused.  "Look, oh forget it."  Kaira went back to her dinner and ate slowly.  Draco stood up.  "I thnk I'll go for a walk now.  See you tomarrow, I guess."  He headed for the door.  Kaira watched him, thought then jumped up and grabbed him.  "No, don't go.  I want you to stay with me, at least for a while."  Draco turned around, when he did, they were standing, very close.  "Kiara I --"  But she kissed him, not knowing what else to say, she just kissed him.  He kissed her back, pulling her in close and running his hands over her back.  She held his face in her hands, all the while they kiised , Kiara's head spun, she was lifted away from all the worrys of earlier, lost in his touch.  When they parted, she looked up at him. "I do love you Draco Malfoy."  Her look was haunted.  Draco held her closer and she lay her head on his shoulder and cried.

Hey great story.

     Next morning, Kiara wakes early, held in the arms of Draco Malfoy.  They were still fully clothed.  Kiara grabbed his arm and gently brought it around her and cuddled closer to him.  She looked over at the clock, it read 4:12.   She smiled knowing she still had a few hours left to have him hold her as they slept.

    A few hours later, "Kiara, Kiara..hey, wake up."  Isis had come in the room.  Kiara opend her eyes and noticed Draco had gone.  He had left a rose on the pillow next to her however, she smiled.  "Good morning Isis."  Kiara greeted with a smile.  Isis looked at her curiously, Kiara never woke up in a good mood.  "What's up with you this morning?"  Isis asked suspiciously, noting the rose on her pillow.  Kiara swung her legs over the side of the bed and gave Isis a huge smile.  "Nothing, can't a girl wake up on a good mood every now and then?"  Isis laughed.  "I knew it!  I thought I saw him leaving your room an hour ago."  Isis exclaimed then sat next to Kiara.  "So, tell..."  Kiara laughed.  "There really isn't anything to tell, he just slept here, that's all, nothing more."  Kiara stood and turned toward Isis.  "Ok, you were right, as usual.  Thank you Isis."  Isis looked at her, confusion written across her face.  "What did I do?"  Kaira laughed.  "Thank you for sending him to my shower, the other day."  Kiara turned and walked in to the bathroom to get ready for the day.  Isis smiled and walked from her room.

 Kiara, Andy and Isis went down to breakfast together, each talking excitedly about the dance that evening.  "When is Justin coming back?"  Kiara asked as they were sitting down at the table.  "Oh, he'll be here sometime after lunch."  Isis replied with a smile as she thought about im.  Kiara looked around the hall and noticed Draco was no where to be found.  She shrugged, figuring he'd be there soon enough.

     Draco came in a few minutes later, followed by the usual crowd of girls, giggling and trying to get his attention. Kaira rolled her eyes then frownd as Pansy Parkinson walked towards him, with a rather seductive look about her.  Kiara didn't interfere, she wanted to see what Draco did.

  "Morning, Draco.  Haven't seen much of you lately, I was kinda hoping that we could, well, you know, at least a few more times this year."  Pansy had put herself directly in his path, Pethetic little wh0re  Kaira thought.  Draco smiled politely and tried to step around her.  Pansy however, had other ideas.  She put a hand on his arm and turned him to face her.  "Look, Draco...."  Then she leaned in and whisperd somthing in his ear.  Draco smiled then, looking over at Kiara, dropped the smile and said, "Thanks, but, there's more important things in my life just now than you and your little as*."  Whith that said, Draco walked over to Kiara and sat next to her, kissing her cheek as Pansy watched with a great look af jelousy written across her face.  Pansy then turned and stormed out of the hall.  Isis laughed but Kiara did not.  "You didn't have to tell her no, just because I was here you know."  She noticed how he had smiled when Pansy whisperd, what ever it was, into his ear.  She also noticed that he was about to say somthing else before noticing Kiara was sitting there.  "What ever are you talking about Kaira?"  Draco answerd, although, he he didn't sound to convincing in his protest of her acusation.  "Look, I told you that I wouldn't stand idely by and watch you -- "  Kaira stopped.  "This is not the place or the time for this.  We can talk else where, if you truely think it's worth it."  Kaira replied a bit loftly.  Isis cringed.  She knew that tone and Kiara never used it unless she was really angry about somthing.  Next comes the stare. Isis thought, watching.  Kaira stared into Draco, not at him but straight in to his very being, Draco whitherd at her look.  "Allright, Kaira, lets go talk."  
"Good luck Draco."  Isis said to him quietly.  Kiara shot a warning glance to Isis who took it seriously and turned back to her food.  Kiara, followed by a sullen looking Draco left the hall.  "Sooo, Andy, how's your day going?"  Isis turned to Andy and started a conversation up.  Andy watched the two of them, Draco and Kiara, walk from the hall.  "Better that HIS, I'd wager."  She said with a grin.  "Wager did you say?"  Isis replied.  "How much you want to bet that they'll be happy as two bugs in a rug by then end of the dance tonight?"  Isis asked as Andy smiled.  "Ok, I'll take your bet, only, they have to actualy be making out by the end of the night.  I'll wager 6 knuts."  Isis grinned from ear to ear, "Your on!"  They shook hands on it and laughed.

  Kiara walked to the room of requirements, when they walked in, Draco noticed that it had become a sound-proof room.  He gringed, knowing what is coming.  Kiara turned on him as soon as he closed the door.  Her eyes flashed and she was wearing a very angry expresion.  Draco couldn't help but notice how sexy she looked just now.  He mistakenly smiled...

    "So, what's up?"  Emily asked Isis and Andy as they walked from the Great Hall.  Isis shudderd.  "Lets just say that I would NOT want to be Draco at this moment."  Isis went on to explain what had transpired between Draco and Pansy and how Kiara must have cought a few hints that Draco had looked as though, if Kiara haddn't been there, he was about to make an apointment with her.  Emily started laughing.  "He's gotta learn, if he intends on keeping Kiara that his play days are over.  Your right, I wouldn't want to be him just now either."

  "And just WHAT do you find so amusing Draco?"  Kiara said between gritted teeth.  Draco lost his smile imediatly.  "I was just, that is, I uh.  Look, Kiara.  I wasn't planning on doing anythig with her.  It's just habit forming, you know, a girl comes on to me and I ----"  He trailed off as Kiara looked at him with a very angry and dark expresion.  "No, no..go on, Mr. Malfoy.  I would LOVE to hear how you just can't seem to resist all the girls.  Really, it's quite interesting.  Go ahead.."  Draco stood his ground, though a bit shakily.  "You know what Kiara?"  He started.  "What's that, Draco."  she spat his name as if it made her sick to say it.  "I think your just jelouse."  He glared at her.  "JELOUSE!  Is that what you call it!  Well, I think that me being JELOUSE because my, suposed, boy friend is the biggest FLIRT, this side of the world, is a small thing.  No Draco, I'm not Jelouse, I knew this would happen.  YOU CAN"T STAY WITH ONE PERSON IF YOUR LIFE DEPENDED ON IT!!!"  Kiara yelled.  "OH YA!  YOU THINK I CAN"T!!  How many girls have you seen me with so far this term?  HuH  HOW MANY!"  Draco  yelled back.  Kiara opened her mouth to scream at him again but stopped.  He was right, how many?  Non that she knew of.  "WELL, just because I didn't see them doesn't mean that they don't exist!"  She spat back satisfied with her answer.  Draco started pacing angrily about the room.  "You know what your problem is?"  Draco had stopped pacing and was now glaring at her.  "Oh, and what is my problem, other than letting myself fall in love with the bigest JERK I know."  Kaira glared back.  "Your problen is that you need a good F***ing!"  Draco yelled at her then imeadiatly regretted it as he went flying across the room, landing uncerimoniously on the hard floor.  Kiara stood there staring at him in dissbelief.  "I -I, You are the bigest as* hole I know."  She was no longer yelling.  Her voice was quiet and even.  Draco stood up, wincing at the pain he now felt in his back.  "Kiara, I didn't mean it.  I'm --"  But Kiara put her hand up to stop him.  "No Draco, don't say your sorry again.  I don't want to hear it.  I'll see you at the dance later."  Kiara turned and walked out of the room.  Draco stood there, unbelieving of what he had said to her.  You really are a stupid git.  He said to himself.  Then he too left the room and headed for the pictch "Accio broom"  maybe an hour or so practice would clear his mind.  He needed to find a way to take back those words and he needed to do it by tonight.

     Kaira walked slowly back to the common room.  When she enterd, she noticed that isis, Em and Andy were sitting ther, they looked like they were waitng for her.  "Hi."  Kaira said in a flat tone.  "K, what's wrong?  Look if it has to do with Draco, we should talk about it."  Emily said.  Kiara shook her head.  "I'm just going to my room for a bit, I'll see you all at the dance."  Kiara truged up the stairs and went to her room, closed the door slowly then locked it and went to her bed and layed there thinking.

 Isis and Emily looked at one another.  "I don't think it went too well."  Andy shook her head.  "Ya, She's really bumbed.  I wonder what he said to her.  Must have hit her hard, what ever it was.  She's not even fuming.  At least if she was mad, then we'd know that everything was going to be ok..."  The three girls sighed.  "I still think they have a chance.  Draco doesn't give up that easily you know.  If he screwed up, he'll make it right, watch."  Isis replied.  Emily smiled.  "Ya, your right, as usual.  Draco won't give up.  Even if it means loosing his left hand, he'll get her back."  Emily said, looking up at Kaira's room.

    Later that evening, about an hour before the dance, Kaira came down stairs, then, noting Draco sitting on the couch, turned right back around and started back up again.  Draco sighed.  "Hey, Isis, tell me when she's in the shower, I need to leave somthing for her."  isis smiled.  "I knew it!  You do have a plan."  She smiled.  "Ok, I'll go up and listen.  Isis stood up and walked to Kiara's door.  After a few minutes she motiond for Draco to go up.  "What is it?"  she asked.  Draco smiled.  "Nothing really, I'm sure she'll show you, when and if, she desides to keep it."  He walked into the room and layed a small package on Kaira's bed.  Then, he put a rose and a note beside it.  Please, except this Kaira.  He said to himself as he looked longingly at the door to the shower room.  Then he walked out and waited for her to come down.

    Kiara stepped out of the shower and, throwing a towel around her, she walked into her room to get ready.  She stopped when she saw the gifts Draco sat on her bed.  A smile crossed her face as she once again, picked up the rose and carresed it's soft peddels to her cheek.  She then, picked up the note and read:

I know that I done something wrong.

    Kiara smiled after reading this.  He sure knows what to say  She reached over and picked up the small pakage and, sitting down, began to unwrap it.  The box was small and light.  She opend the lid and suddenly started shaking.  "Will you?" Draco's voice came from behind her.  Kiara turned and gazed upon him, he looked sad.  He came over and sat next to her and took the box from her hand.  "Look, I'm asking you for forgivness here.  This can wait."  He said, nodding at the box he now held in his hand.  "I know that some times, I can be a total Jack-As*.  I also know that what I said to you today was totaly out of line however, you can't expect me to be perfect.  It runs in the family you know, this annoying habbit of being the bigest Jerk this side of the world and all."  Kaira smiled.  "You are."  She said quietly.  Draco smiled now.  "What was that?  I don't think I heard correctly."  He teased.  "Come here."  Draco pulled her in and hugged her tight.  He held her for a bit then let her go.  "Now, about this..."  He brought the little box around again.  "You don't need to say anything yet.  I just want you to know that, I am asking.  I want you to know that this is what I want."  Draco paused.  Kaira looked down at the box and it's contents.  "Kiara, will you marry me?"  Draco asked, taking the ring from it's resting spot and taking her hand, sliding the ring onto her finger.  Tears formed in her eyes as she watched him do this.  She was speachless.  Then she looked up and into his wonderfull ice blue eyes.  "Draco I -- Yes."  Draco smiled, the happiest smile a man could.  He looked as though he would burst.  He kissed her.  This time, Kiara kissed him back, more passionately than than ever before.  She now knew he was serious about them, at least, he had better be.  By the time they parted, Kiara's towel had mysteriously slid off.  She gave him an accusing glance as she quickly pulled it back up.  Draco raised his brow and smiled.  "You better get dressed.  We've got a dance to attend."  Draco said, standing up.  Kaira stood and kissed him one last time before ushering him out of the room.  Once she had closed the door she jumped into the air YES! she said, perhaps a bit louder than she had intended.

    Draco heard her and smiled to himself as he walked down the stepps to the common room.  He had a smile written across his face when he got to the bottom of the stairs,  Emily was gone already but, Isis and Andy jumped up when they saw him.  "So, what's up?  What happened?  You look absolutely, well Happy.  Did you two..."  Isis asked.  Draco laughed.  "No, Isis, sorry to dissapoint you but no, we didn't.  You'll understand later.  Don't you have a dance to get to?"  Draco answerd her.  Justin stood and took Isis by the hand.  "Lets get up there, I'm sure Draco and Kiara will let you in on everything in a while, leave him alone for now."  Justin knew what Draco had planned, Draco had come to him for advise, after all.  Justin looked at Draco and smiled.  Draco winked and sat on a chair to wait for Kiara.  Justin, Isis, Andy and Zorin walk up to the dance.

    Kiara and Draco had just walked through the doors to the great Hall When Dumbledore stood and, smiling at them, called for every ones attention.  The room fell silent, Kiara made to walk to their table but Draco held her to the spot.  "Welcome every one to the First dance of the year.  It would seem, that this dance has a duel purpose this evening.  Earlier, about 4 hours agao, a young wizard came to ask me a question.  I wondered just what, this particulare wizard could have possibly wanted from me as he had not been known for coming to me for, well, anything, however, I listend to his request.  I listened with great intrest as a matter of fact.  Draco Malfoy has come to ask for my goddaughters hand in marriage...."  There was a great gasp that echoed through the silence of the room, heads turned towards the door way where the two stood.  Kaira smiling and Draco looking at her, also smiling turned and waved at every one.  "By the look of the two, I's say that this dance has now become an engagement party as well.  Congradulations you two.  Let the fun begin."  He sat down.

    Emily was the first to Kiara's side.  "WEll, let me see it!"  She said, grabbing Kiara's hand.  "Will you look at the size of that rock..."     Kiara giggled, then Em gave her a hug.  

    The first hour of the dance was more or less dedicated to Kiara's showing her new piece of jewlery to almost every girl in the school.  Draco had retired to the table with the guys.  "I had no idea she knew so many people."  He commented.  Harry had come over to talk with Draco.   "There's a whole lot you have yet to find out about her Slytherin.  I hope you don't get scared off to easily...congrats man, I just can't believe that you, of all people, are going to become my brother-in-law."  Draco and Harry both laughed at the thought.  "I know Potter, kind of a wierd twist, isn't it?"  

    Draco finally got up and bravely, walked over to and through the throng of girls surrounding Kiara.  "I'm sorry girls but I do believe it's ny turn."  He smiled at them all.  Kiara smiled at him and he took he out to the dance floor and the band started the first song of the night,  "A slow dance for the couple of honor"  The singer announced.    Kiara and Draco began the dance to an empty floor, neither one noticed they were being glared at by Pansy, who had gone unnoticed the whole time.  The floor began to fill with couples and the dance was now started, officialy.

   An hour before Midnight and Isis just relixed that Kaira and Draco had gone.  She smiled.  "Uhm, hun, I need to go talk with Andy a moment, I'll be right back."  Justin looked curiously at her but decided not to ask.  Isis found Andy and Zorin on the dance floor.  "Uhm, Andy, I'm sorry but, could we talk a minute."  Isis had aproached them and tapped on her shoulder.  Andy turned to Isis.  "Uhm, sure.  Will you excuse us a moment."  Zorin shruged then went and sat with Justin.  Isis drug Andy out to the hall.  "They're missing.  Draco and Kaira, they've managed to slip away.  Do you want to pay me now or do we find them first, just to make sure."  Isis smiled.  Andy started to laugh.  "No, here, I'm sure that they'll be doing what they need to be.  You win this one."  Andy handed Isis her 6 Knuts.

    Kiara and Draco, sure enough had slipped away.  They were at this moment in Kiara's room, making out quite heavily.  Draco's shirt was off and he had managed to slide his hand to a resting place on Kaira's bear thigh.  Suddenly he stopped.  "No, Kaira, I don't think we should, not yet."  Kaira smiled, "I thought that this, was what you wanted."  She said between his kisses.  "Oh, believe me, I do.  However, Not now, not like this."  he replied.  "Ok, well, can we just continue to pretend that's what we're after?"  Kaira smiled at him devilishly.  Draco's face took on a great smile. "Of course we can."

    Much later, after the dance was over and after Isis and Justin had taken their walk and said their good-byes.  Isis walked into the Slytherin commoin room.  Andy and Zorin were on the couch.  "Oh, please, get a room you two."  Isis smiled at them.  Andy turned.  "Oh, hi Isis."  Zorin looked a little flushed.  Being a Hufflepuff, he wasn't really acustomed to this, Andy was a little more than he had bargend for.  Isis smiled at him.  "Playing with the Slytherins is going to corrupt you sooner or later dear, might as well get used to it."  She laughed and winked at Andy.  "Have they come down at all?"  Isis asked.  Andy smiled. "No, as a matter of fact, they havn't."  She replied.  Isis smiled then walked up the stairs to Kaira's door.  She paused and listend then knocked.  No answer so she tried the handle, it was locked.  She smiled then, unlocking the door, peeked inside.  Kiara and Draco were sleeping together, Draco's shirt was off but it didn't look as though they had done anything too inpoetant.  Isis closed the door, a little dissapointed.  Dam!  Still nothing interesting to get out of her.  She shook her head and walked back to her own room and went to sleep.

    Halloween came and went, Kaira and Draco, of course made their apearance at the dance, they went as Isis and Justin, and Justin and Isis as the two.  

    It was now, two weeks until Christmas break and Draco was told to come home.  His mother had some business deals for him to put a final say to.  It was decided that Kiara would stay at school.  "Are you sure Kiara, I'm sure I can persuade Dumbledore to let you come.  You are, after all my fiance' now..."  Draco hadn't really wanted her to stay behind however, Professor Dumbledore thought they should spend some time apart.  Kiara managed to find out that he was concerned for her, Voldem0rt still at large and such.  "No, hun, he's made a good argument and there really is no sence in arguing about it.  He's just looking out for me is all."  Kiara replied, kissing Draco on the cheek.  Draco smiled.  "Ok, I suppose a few weeks away from you won't kill me.  I'm being selfish, huh?"  Draco returned her kiss.  Kiara smiled.

    Up in her dorm room, Pansy Parkinson was reading herself to go home for the Hollidays.  She seemed to be in a particulary good mood.  We'll see just how faithful Mr. Maldoy is, when I show up on his door stepp wearing this...
She held up a lacey, black thong.  That was it, just that.  

     Draco was preparing to leave on the train to home, Kiara was standing next to him saying her good-byes, Pansy walked bye, bumping into the two of them and smiled.  Kiara glared at her properly.  Draco just rolled his eyes.  "You know, I think she's the only one not happy for us."  Kiara commented.  "Be carful."  She added as an after thought.  "Just what is that supposed to mean, Kiara?"  Draco asked, raising his brow.  Kiara kissed him.  "Look, it's not you I don't trust...it's her.  She's pretty resorcefull, you know, Just be carefull, I know she's going to try something, I can read it all over her."  Kiara replied seriously.  The train whistle blew then and Draco had to run.  He kissed Kaira quickly, one last time before jumping on the moving train and was whisked away out of Kiara's sight.  Kiara sighed and turned back towards the school, then changing her mind, walked on into Hogsmead instead.

     Kaira walked through the doors of the Threebroomsticks.  Isis and Em were seated at a table and called her over as soon as she walked in.  Kiara smiled and sat with them.  "Hey, what's up girls?"  Kiara asked.  "Oh, you know, the usual, boy talk." Isis smiled.  "Ya, Ron and I ----"  The topic when on for quite some time, each girl relating stories thet they were sure their other halves didn't want told.  Laughing all the while.  They finally finished When Hermione and Harry came throught he door.  "Hey Harry."  Kiara called to him as they walked in.  "Kiara!  All alone I see."  No, I've got Em and isis here, you and Hermione too, for a few more days, I hear."  Hermione sat.  "Ya, My Mum and Dad are picking Harry and I up in a couple days.  They got off to a late start and didn't want us wandering the house alone, for some reason."  She winked at Kaira.  Kiara smiled.  "Gee, I wonder why?"  She teased.  "Well....when's that Slytherin of yours coming back?" Harry ased, trying to change the subject.  Kiara laughed.  "He has a name, you know.  Besides, you had better get used to saying it if, your going to be his brother-in-law."  Kiara winked at him.  Harry shook his head.  "No, Slytherin will do."  Kiara shrugged, knowing that it was enough just for those two to be on talking terms so left it alone. Pretty soon, Ron, Zorin, Andy and, to Isis's suprise, Justin came walking in.  Kiara watched all her friends then decided that she wanted to be alone for a while so bade them all a good night and went back to the school.

    Kiara opend the door to her room and smiled.  There were, she counted, 13 owls, waiting for her, 12 had a single red rose each, tied to it's leg and one with a note.  She finally, retrieved each rose and set them all in a vase, she magiced.  Then opend the note and read:

   
    Kiara sighed and layed down on her bed.  I miss you too.  She said quietly.  Then she magiced her sleeping gown on and crawled under her blankets and slept.  She knew it was only 7 o'clock but, she seemed just to tired to stay awake any longer.  Her eyes closed and she stayed asleep til the early hours of the morning.  Dreaming the whole tme of Draco and her.

Good story.

     Christmas morning, Kiara woke up and looked about her room, smiling.  There were flowers every where and, little ferries zipping about here and there.  She sighed happily.  Who'd have ever thought that Draco Malfoy could be such a romantic.  She looked down at the presents stacked neatly on the rug.  Upon closer inspection, realized that half of them were from Draco.  Isis and Andy came in.  The both gasped at the sight of her room.  "You have got to be the luckiest girl i know."  Isis said, running over and hugging Kaira.  "Merry Christmas,"  Andy said to her.  "Oh, Merry Christmas you two."  Kaira replied, still smiling and looking around her room.  The room was posatively glowing.  "Have you two alresdy opened your gifts?"  Kaira asked.  They nodded.  "Good, then I'll see you down stairs in a bit, I still have a mound to open here.

    When Draco woke, he noticed a new pakage and a note, sitting on his bed.  He smiled as the sent of Kiara's perfume rose up to him.  He picked up the letter and breathed deeply.   then opened it and read:


Draco picked up the small pakage and unwrapped it.  He opened the box to find a silver pendant with a wolf, carved into it.  He smiled.  He knew Kaira had made it herself, she wore one similar to it, only hers had a dragon on it.  He put the pendant on and as soon as he fastend the clasp, felt a slight tingle.  Yep, just like hers.  No sense in trying to get this one off.

    Kaira put her hand to her pendant and smiled.  Thank you Draco.  I hope you don't get angry with me for that.

    Later that evening, Isis and Andy were dressed and ready to go to the Christmas dance when they realised that Kaira wasn't going.  "Your not coming Kiara?"  Isis asked.  Kiara shook her head.  "No, I've got, other things planned for tonight."  Then Kaira turned and walked back to her room and closed the door.  Isis and Andy thought maybe they wouldn't question her just now so they simply walked out of the common room to meet their dates.

Ten o'clock and there was a knock at his door.  Draco went and opened it to fond Pansy smiling at him.  "Merry Christmas Draco."  Pansy said to him with a sly smile.  "Merry Christmas, Pansy."  Draco returned with an acusing look.  "Well, aren't you going to invite me in?"  Pansy asked.  Draco stepped aside, "Oh sure, sorry, come in."  Pansy walked in to the mannor and Draco closed the door.  "Where's your mum?"  Pansy inquired.  "Oh, she's out."  Draco replied.  Pansy smiled whickedly.  "Good."  then, she dropped her robe, revieling her self to Draco.  Draco stared.  "Uhm, Pansy, I think you forgot somthing,"  He tried to sound unshocked.  "Oh no, Draco.  I do believe I've got everything in order."  Pansy replied as she brought her hand to her lips and blew a powdery sudstance in Draco's face.  Draco had a moment of terror written across his face as he relised what she had done, it was oon lost as the charm took effect.  "Oh, yes, I do see that everything is, indeed, in it's rightfull place."  Draco replied.

     Pansy stepped closer to Draco, he ran his hands up her naked body, she closed in to kiss him, there was a sudden flash of light and pansy was thrown across the room, at that same instant, Draco came out of the trance, she had put him in.  He began to laugh, knowing full well what had just happend.  "Uh, ya might want this."  Draco reached down and picked up Pansy's cloak.  "It was a nice try and all but, I'm afraid that Kiara was a step ahead of you.  He put his hand to the new pendant her wore.  Pansy stood up and stalked over to him, grabbing her cloak.  "Maybe we weren't able to do anything but I'm sure, these pictures of you with your hands on my naked body should be enough to make Kiara leave you.  She quickly threw on her cloak and stormed out the door.  Draco watched her go, laughing the whole time.

    A half hour later, Draco was just getting ready for bed when he heard a noise, coming from out side his door.  It wasn't loud but he thought he heard footsteps.  Suddenly the door opend and in stepped Kiara.  "Merry Christmas hun."  She smiled.  "Like your ---"  She didn't get to finish, Draco was on her kissing her, almost imeadiatly.  "What are you doing here?  How, when?"  The questions kept flying.  Kiara smiled.  "Well, I felt the jolt your pendant gave off about a half hour ago so, I decided to come investigate."  Kiara answerd.  "So, where is she, did it work?  I'm sorry I didn't tell you but I wanted to be sure that Pansy got the hint."  Kiara smiled.  Draco laughed.  "Ya, she got the hint allright and you were so right about that one, she used a charm on me, if it wasn't for this, "  He pointed to his pendant, "She would have gotten her Christmas present for sure."  Kiara frowned.  "That's what I thought.  Well, I guess a little talk with her is what is in order now.  I was hoping to avoid this."  Draco shook his head.  "So, where is my other prestent?"  He asked, trying to change the subject.  Kiara smiled playfully.  "Well, it's in here some where, hang on"  She turned around then, back to him, her cloak was undone, revealing her body, she was wearing simply nothing under it.  Draco about fainted.  "Oh, my goodness."  He said, to shocked to move.  Kaira blushed slightly.  She started to move forward but Draco stopped her.  He slid the cloak off the rest of the way and stood there, admiring her for quite some time then, he gently brought her to his bed.

    The next day, Kiara woke next to Draco, she layed her head on his chest and smiled.  He had his arms around her and she dared not move for fear of waking him.  She wanted to stay there as long as she could.

    Isis, walked to Kiara's room, as she did, every day.  She opend the door and saw that Kiara wasn't there, she did, however, leave a note.

   
Isis smiled.  Good for you Kiara, Dumbledore should have let yougo in the first place.  Isis said to herself as she picked up the small whistle, setting on Kiara's bed.  She tossed it once inher hand then placed it in her robe pocket.  Guess I had best wake Andy and let her in on Kiara's little adventure.  Hope she has some interesting news when she gets back.  Isis thought, as she made her way back to their dorm rooms to wake the Sleeping Andy.

Cool cool and cool

     Draco started running his hand through Kiara's hair.  Kiara smiled.  "Good morning."  She lifted her head and kissed him.  Draco smiled. "Good morning to you.  Are you hungry?"  He asked.  Kiara nodded.  "But, I don't want to get up, just yet.  Hold me just a while longer."  Kiara replied.  Draco smiled.  "If we stay like this much longer then..."  He left it hanging.  Kiara got the hint and smiled.  "Well then, I guess we should stay in bed."  Draco began kissing her.

    Isis woke Andy and told her the story.  Andy laughed.  "She's so lucky.  I wish we could move in and out of the school the wat she can."  Andy threw her legs over the side of her bed.  Isis was smiling.  "Well, if we could do that, we'd be sorceresses and not witches, and then, we probably wouldn't even be here."  Andy looked up and started laughing all over again.  "Ya, I guess your right.  I still don't quite understand how it is that Kiara came to be here in the first place.  I mean, I know all about Voldem0rt and stuff but..well, you know."  Isis smiled.  "That, my friend, is a very long story."  She replied.  Andy shook her head. "I know, and one day, I'll have Kiara try and explain it to me.  Now, I'm going to take a shower and I'll meet you down stairs for breakfast...K?"  Andy said, standing up and walking towards the shower room.  Isis smiled and went down stairs.

    Three days had passed and still no sighn of Kiara.  Isis began to wonder if she ever planned on coming back.  Then, an owl flew to her bed side and she quickly took the note from it's leg, gave it a treat and sent it off again.


 Isis sighed with relief.  She haddn't been looking forward to lieing to Dumbledore.  Now, her head was swimming with thoughts.  She amiled as she folded the note back up and put it in her bedside drawer.  If she doesn't have any thing really interesting to tell then I think I'll have to talk with Draco.  She thought to herself then smiling, she turned over and went to sleep.

    An owl flew into the drawing room, where Kiara and Draco were sitting.  It landed next to Kiara who, took the letter from it's leg.  She recogized it as belonging to the school.  She cringed a little, knowing that her godfather had sent his reply.  SHe open the letter and read out loud:

 Kiara smiled.  "Well, at least it wasn't a howler."  Draco laughed.  "Ya, he seems to have expected you to do this very same thing.  How does he do it?  He always seems to know."  Draco shrugged then kissed Kaira on the cheek.  "Want to go into own tomarrow?  Mum says she needs some stuff and we could pick it up for her."  Draco asked.  Kiara winked at him.  "Ya, town sounds good.  We've only got another 4 days till we go back and I would really like to pick up a few things."  Kiara replied.  "Good, then lets get to bed."  Draco smiled and Kiara blushed.  "Ya, sleep, sounds good."  She laughed as Draco looked pained.  "Ok, sleep it is then..."  He winked at her.  "
