Title: Movie Marketing
Post by: Shuibeast on June 16, 2002, 01:45:20 AM
I know that marketing is a necessay part of children movies.  Action figures, lego playsets, this is all fine, I understand even if I don't like it.  However don't you think companies are going too far with Harry Potter Hand Soap?  I know I shouldn't find this odd with today's market economies, but it is going to far with the hand soap, which's weighs in at 9 3/4 fluid ounces.

Um, I don't know ounces, but u r funny! Heehee, the soap is for tiny kids! As if anyone in High School would go out and buy HP soap in front of everyone! They'd get their parents to do it! j/k. ^_^

ummm... I'd buy it... but, yes, I do understand.  They are going way too far with this, and it only started because of the movie, and not because of the books.  That makes me angry.  Plus, now, kids aren't gonna read the books because they can just go watch the movie!  And the movie sucked.  It's hardly the same.

Ah, yes, you are an Aussie, so you don't use the same system as us.  An ounces is something you use to measure liquid, but the smallest measurement.. I think.  :-\
