A group of people, will pretend to be characters, either from imagination, or from the Harry Potter Books. Yes, it is like Improv. Only, no acting.

Oh, I must dissagree Harry, there is  a lot of acting in the Role Plays.  You are pretending to be some one other than yourself so therefore, acting.   ;)  But otherwise, yes, I agree with what they all say.
