It's awkward that J.K.Rowling herself forgets what she writes in her previous books. In the third book Trelawney falls into a real trance she tells Harry about Sirius, darker times that would come in potter's future and she was proved right (wasn't she).whereas in the fifth book she is almost proved a fraudulent old hag. I sincerely hope that Rowling doesn't suffer from such memory lapses. I personally believe that professor Trelawney can prophesize, its only she's a bit eccentric. Comment
trelawney is not a total fraud, she does posses the power of sight, to a cetain extent. As far as teaching goes, I think she does a great job, out aside her excenticities. lol
No, JK did not have a memory loss in the fith book. Dumbledore still stood up for her because he knows her worth.
Here, listen closely, cause I won't say it again. Trelawny made only two, count 'em, two known real predictions. The one about Harry and Voldem0rt, and the one in the third book. Otherwise, Trelawny can't make anymore predictions than you or I. So you see, in the fith book, when Dumbledore keeps Trelawny, he knows that it is possible she will have another prediction. Get it now?
Dumbledore probably kept trelawney only because she had made the two predictions, proving that she's not a total fraud.
^^See now, that's what I'm talking about. lol ;)
Listen to what ginny says about his stuff but stick with her because she goes a little fast K? :o
I don't go that fast! *folds arms and grins*
you most certainley do too!
