Tomorrow, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix will be released in paperback. I have it in hardback, but I wonder how thick it is in paperback. GOF was pretty thick. If the books get any bigger, they'll need to be in separate volumes!

yeah it'll be easier to read that way. ;D
it came out in england in july. but i still havent bought it.
My OOTP back cover is breaking off...
mine BROKE off >:(
I got the hardback
I bought it in hardcover. However, I treat it like a hunk of gold, so its probably the best conditioned book I have. I would never get it in paperback because my paperbacks have a tendency to wear out VERY quickly because I reread them so many times. (As you can tell, I love reading! :)) I like hardcovers because they are more durable and they are larger, so they can't be lost as easily. (Not that I would ever lose a book, paperback or hardcover! ;))
Yeah, paperbacks are generally less durable than Hardbacks, but they break off just as easily. ;D
My books are not in the greatest condition, but I have learned to take better care of them ;D
not me. I start to read a book, them I lay it down so the spin is up and tend to leave it there for sometimes month on end.
lol Gin,
Yes, I have seen you OOTP book.......You Left it In The Rain!!!!!! >:( BAD GINNY!
lol
I just love to read the books in the bed to help me to fall asleep easily but OOTF paperback is too heavy to relax myself !!!! ::)but really enjoyable!

lol me too! I love to read it in bed! ;D
But like you said.. it was really uncomfortable to read OOTP :-X >:(
it'd build some mucsel! :P
Yes,honestly...I once put my OOTP beside me and stretched my arms to comfort myself while reading that Umbridge woman torture Harry..It`s nice work out indeed! ;) ;D
yes indeed it is! ;D
I was surprised to find that quite a lot of weight came from the hard cover, because recently, the hard cover has parted with the book. (Remember a chapter in one of the books called "The Parting Of the Ways" ;D ) Well, my dad took pity on the book and volunteered to turn it into a paperback. Remember when you bought the hardback it had this paper cover? Well, my OOTP is now paperback. ;D
I love it coz it helps me to fall asleep as it makes me really tired when I hold it....Will the 6th be thicker?? ;D
I kinda hope so, most likely......
YEAH! The thicker it is, the more we get to read!
The more we get to read, the better!
Yet, the thicker, the more expensive!
not nessicarily.....
But it usually goes proportional like this...
da thicker is better, yeah! As long as it is less than 50 pounds,I don`t care ;D(shouldn`t be that expensive I hope ;D)
It's around 80 or 90 where I live.. :-X
hmm, I'm thinking you ppls have differant moneys than me.... You can get the paperback for like $5 here.... I have the hard back though.....Dunno how much they are, I only bought GOF for like $9 when it came out....The rest I got for christmas and birthdays ;D
Yes the dollar is 3 1/2 dirhams here (I think :-X )
I dunno anything about that stuff :-X
It is about 1,780 yen...I know I shouldn`t make you coufused any more ;D $9 is not bad, they are cheaper in the US than in the UK.cool, actually,I prefer US edition and did you know that Papar backs of the US are ligther than that of UK?
I prefer th UK Version.. It looks more original.. :-\
I don't remember what the UK version looks like, but what do you mean by 'origanal'
I`ve got UK edition, the yellow-ish cover with Phoenix on it!The US edition is blue-ish with Harry on it,right?Don`t remember much..... :-\
oh, ok, lol, yes it is, sorry, hyper, can't think strait, or at all..... Yes, I like the 5th cover, US one, it's the best outa the others! My fave color! haha
What colour do you think the 6th will be?? Hope it will be green,i dunno, but green hasn`t been used,no?(I dunno about the US edition)What do you guys think?

I have a feeling it WILL be green..(UK Version).. dunno why
I don't think it will have a main color like the 5th one (US) I am trying to think of what would go with the title, Half-blood Prince, hmmm....
Let's see... Half-blood prince... I get it! BLOOD! RED! ;D
Nah... Just kiddin'. Well, I hope it'll be purple, my favourite!
hmm, well it can't be blue again, so my fave color is out....I don really know, can't think, too early....
purple's my fav too. the fourth book was more green than anything.
I think it'll be multicolored!!!! lol..... Red with one of their weird animated character pictures of the half blood prince, I wonder who that could be...*thinks*
tha book is greener...I hope it will be published very soon and we can laugh talking about what colour it is(eventually) ;D
I want it purple! (Quirell's turban) ;D
purple is nice colour as well.so we will see! We`ve never have them purple in colour yet,eh??So we can have it purple ;Djust can`t wait, huh?
The 3rd HP book was purple so I don't think the 6th will be.. :-X
