Harry Potter Fan

k, here it goes....
          The house # 4 privet drive was a quiet, normal house, in a quiet, normal neigborhood. The Dursley's lived at #4 privet drive, along with a boy. A boy nobody knew existed in the muggle world, but everyone knew and respected in the wizarding world. Harry Potter stayed with his aunt, uncle, and cousin durring the summer. Harry was in his room finishing his History of Magic essay for Professor Binns. He dipped his quill in the ink bottle and stared to write his last sentence.
    That's how the goblins were banished at the Hill of Saviors.
Harry put on the cap to his ink bottle and put his book and parchment away. He looked at the clock on his bedside table, it was 12:05. He had been 15 for five whole minutes now!! Harry had let Hedwig strech her wings the other night, and she hadn't been back since. He got up and looked out the open window, hoping for a glimpse of her, but she was no where to be seen. He was very tired so he jumped in to bed and shut the lamp.  Harry was just about asleep, when he heard a woosh of wings fly on to his bed. He jumped up in shock and turned on the light. There were five owls sitting on the end of his bed, there were three to which he had never seen before. Hedwig sat there hooting softly, Harry went over to them and un tired the letters and pacages from there legs.

i know it's boring so far, but it get's better..

The three owl to Harry had never seen before flew out the open window. Hedwig and pig went over to her cage. Harry first picked up a letter that Hedwig brought. It was from Sirius and the letter read,
         * Happy Birthday Harry!!
     I couldn't get a really good gift, but i found this at  
     your parents old house. I carved the wood my self,    
     Buckbeaks fine, have a great birthday!*
                            Sirius
Harry ripped open the box to find a picture and a note. He picked up the note and it said, *A name your parents called you* What could Sirius be talking about? Harry flipped over the picture so he could see the front. The frame was craved with a grape vine around three edges, the bottom, it said a name. Little Prongs, that's the name Sirius was talking about!! Harry looked at the picture, it was his mother, father, and Sirius looking andsmiling back at him. His father and Sirius would wave and his mother, blow a kiss. Harry smiled and put the picture on the bedside table. He next picked up Ron's gift, and letter.
 *Hey Harry,
Happy Birthday! Hope you like the gift!! mom insisted that she sent you a cake too. Hey, next saturday were gonna come pick you up o.k.? By floo powder, so keep your fireplace open this time. Oh, Ginny say's Happy Birthday too.*
                 Ron
He picked up the parsel, remembering last summer when the weasly's exploded the fireplace. Harry ripped open the gift, it was another picture, of Bill, Charlie, Percy, Fred, George, Ron, and Ginny. They were all smiling untill George winked at Fred, and off shot a Filibuster. Every one was laughing becuse the remains were on top of Percy's head, and he was scowling. Along with this picture was a glass ball that contained all the stars, planets and the sun and moon. They were rotating exactly like the real thing.
" Wow Ron!!" THe box also contained a chocolate cake from Mrs. Weasly.

Harry piced up the third letter, it was from hagrid. He could tell by the messy scrwal on the parcel.
* Hay Harry!
       Happee Birthdae! Hope yer havin' a great one so far. I hope ya like the cake too, made it me self i did! Hope ya like yer present as well! See ya at Hogwarts.*
                   Hagrid
Harry opened the box, there was a cake on one side, and a, "Wait, Hagrid wouldn't send me a real dragon!" harry said. But in the box was a little sleeping, breathing baby dragon. A note was attatched to it.
* made 'm out of wood an' ahh, put a charm on 'm to look an' act real. Oh, be careful he blows fire!* He looked just like baby Norbert Harry thought, but he couldn't blow real fire! Then, the dragon got up, streched his wings and jumped on Harry's bed. He sneezed and harmless sparks flew out of his nose.

Harry saw the dragon fall asleep again. Harry picked up his forth letter, * Dear Harry,
             Happy Birthday! Hope you like the gift. Are you going to Ron's? I'm going Friday. Anyway, Happy Birthday again!  Love always,*
                                     Hermione.
*p.s. don't worry, it's not a book! *
Harry put down the letter and open the parcel. it was another cake, and yet, another picture. This time it was of Hermione, and Crookshanks. She was waving and smiling, and Crookshanks purring. There was also another thing in the box as well. A gadget and a note,
* Harry, this tells you how much faster you need to be going to catch the snich. It's not illegal, i made sure. I saw it in a book called, Useful Quidditch Gadgets.*
        Harry could believe all the great things he got. He set Hermione's picture next to the others on the bed side table. He took all of his cards and lined them up on the desk. 'But wait,' he thought,' there was another card.'  Harry spun around to look for  the card on his bed. He walked over and picked it up. Harry looked at the writting on the envalope, it said right there, ' To Mr. Harry J. Potter.' He ripped open the letter, it said.....

Oh no! A cliffy! >___<! More soon please! :):)

Harry couldn't believe it! He hadn't talked  or even heard from Professor Lupin since third year. Harry pulled out a long siver chain, and at the end of it, a dangled a moon. The charm was of a full moon, and written in small script was Moony, Padfoot, and Prongs.

Heh. Where's 'Wormtail'? ^^? Did Lupin take it off before giving it to Harry? :D?

HArry put the neclace on right away. He turned and looked at the clock,1:00am. Harry was very tired, but really happy. He turned off the light and fell asleep. Harry woke up the next morning and went downstairs into the kitchen. Aunt Petunia was cutting an apple into fours. Dudleywas, if possible, fatter than ever. He needed his own customized seat to hold up his weight. So, the nurse at Smeltings made his diet more saver. And just as last summer, the whole family had to follow.
Dudley ate his apple in one bite, and looked to see if any one was looking at him. He looked over to Harry and snached his apple slice and ate. Harry didn't say any thing because he had three cakes up stairs. After "breakfast" Harry went upstairs to his room to do his potions homework.

Professor Snape had given them a five page essay on what the difference is between monkshood and wolfsbane, and whay are they dangerous to touch. After two hours he finnaly finished it, he had just barely reached five pages. Harry got up and put his book away, then Uncle Vernon came in. He looked at the essay on Harry's desk and then at Harry. " What did I tell you about doing your...your freak homework before 5:00? And your aunt's been calling you to mow the lawn!" He screamed. Harry didn't do or say anything, and because of it, Uncle Vernon walked over to Harry's desk, picked up the essay, and ripped it. " Are you crazy?? That's my homework!!"Harry yelled back. " Get down stairs now!!" "NO! I have to write aletter to Sirius." Uncle Vernon's face turned form bright purple, to ghost white. "You Harry, I'll make Dudley do it," and he walked out.

      Harry went over to the desk and pulled out a sheet of parchment.
             * Dear Sirius,
                      Thanks for the gift, did my parents really called me that? Any way, I've had a horrible day! Earlier, Dudley ate my breakfast, then i had just finnished a five page essay for Snape and Uncle Vernon ripped it up!
I just want to take my wand and...and kill them both! Tell Buckbeak hi.*

He went over to Hedwig's cage, and tied to letter to her leg. " I'll be at Ron's when you get back okay."

Heehee! Go Sirius! Go Sirius! Yes, he does sound scary, huh Uncle Vernon? ;D ^^;

        Harry was so mad, he had to write his report all over again! He sat down, and for the next four hours he was writting.  " Ger down here! Supper's ready," called Aunt Petunia. Harry got up and went down stairs. After dinner, Harry was still so mad that he couldn't do any thing. He decied to sleep. The next few days were fine, the Dursly's had generaly left harry alone scince he wrote the letter.
        When saterday night came, Harry left his room,(with every thing packed) and walked into the living room. Harry turned on the once boared up fireplace so they could come get him.   "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING?" yelled Uncle Vernon. He looked as though he were going to explode any minute, but Harry sneezed and it sounded like, 'Sirius.'   He looked so shcoked and horrified he walked away. Th next minute...

here's what happened before, harry had just lit a fire in living room and he just then....

The next minute harry heard a pop. And in the fire stood Mr. Weasley, and then Ron. " Hey Harry," Mr. Weasley said,"Hi!" There were 2 more faint pops, and out came Fred and George. " Hey Haaaarrryyy....." "Good to see ay old chap!" said the twins. " Where's ur trunk?" asked George. " oh, upstairs..." " we'll get it," replied Fred with a wiked smile on his face.  " Hermione's already at the burrow. Surprisingly she and Ginny get along great! Like sisters, only they don't fight," said Ron.

here's more....
  Fred and George came around the corner with worse grins on there faces. " Let's go!" They chimed together. Fred and George stepped in first," The Burrow!" They shouted. Then Mr. Weasley and Harry's trunk were next. " Oh, Ron make sure Harry's got everything....The Burrow!" and then he was gone. "Oh, i forgot my firebolt!" He said. Harry raced upstairs to get it, then he heard a burst of laughter comming from the living room.

 Harry raced down the stairs, Ron was laughing so hard that he was on the floor, and Harry saw why. Fred and George had given Dudley something, that turned him in to have rabbit ears & wiskers. Harry started laughing too, He, Ron, and the fireboltgot in to the fire. "The Burrow!"htey shouted.
  Harry was swirling in a wind and colors of fire all around him. Then it stopped, Ron and he were at the Weasley House. Ron was still laughing, "WHat's so funny?" asked Mrs.Weasley. " Hello Harry dear, how r u?" " I'm fine thanx" he said chuckling. " mum, where's fred and george, we want to tell them a joke," asked ron. " they're up stairs in ur room, putting harry's trunk away." ron and harry walked up the staircase, up and up untill they reached ron's room. fred came over to ron and harry. " did it work?" " yah, did it?" george added. harry and ron to eachother and laughed. " what was that?" harry asked them. " that was our hop to it treats, thry give u rabbit ears and whiskers for three days!" chimed the twins together proudly.  "it's brilliant! did u make another order form?" ron asked. " yep! we've  been writting to sponser's all summer for loans," fred said. " and they're giving it to us! plus the money u gave us harry! our shop, the weasley's wizard wheezes r back, up and running!" added george.

  Then the girls walked in," hey harry!" said hermione and ginny. " hey hermione, ginny," he replied. ginny blushed when he smiled at her. ron looking from harry to ginny said," ok then, let's go help mum with dinner." they all walked downstairs to help. after a great supper of, ham, stuffing,broclli,mashpatatos, and deserts, they were all very stuffed. " it's late, u should go to bed!" said mr. weasley. everyone got up and gone upstairs.
                       CHAPTER 3
                                          THE DREAM
 every thing was great, harry was full, and ready for bed. he was at his favorite place besides hogwarts, he settled down, and almost instanly fell asleep.
some one was tapping on the window, it was...sirius! harry got up and opened it, but he turned in to voldemort! harry screamed, but nobody could hear him. he looked around for his wand, he couldn't find it. voldemort held up 2 wands, one was harry's. then, he said it, voldemort cried, " avara kadavra!"  a high pitched laugh and a flash of green light. harry saw a girl, but her face was blurred,she fell to the floor. then, he saw ron and hemione looking at himdead on the floor. they got out there wands, they tried to do a spell, but it was too late. voldemort repeaded the curse, they both fell to the ground dead.
  harry woke up sweating, and his scar was burning more than ever. he looked out the window, ther was no one there, ron was asleep in his bed. harry couldn't sllep, but drifted off.

the next few weeks were great! they went fishing,shopping,and played quidditch. harry's dream haden't come back, and neither did hedwig.mrs. weasley,hemione, and ginny went to diagon alley to get everyone's supplys. the boys were playing quidditch in the paddock. when  the girls came back, harry, ron, and hemione packed all their supply. hermione and ron were playing wizard's chess, harry was polishing his broom. the twins were in the corner pretending to do homework, and ginny was helping harry. " oh my, look at the time! everyone to bed! u have to get up to catch the train," mr weasley said.  harry felt as if he'd just closen his eyes when mrs weasley woke him up. "s' all this about?" ron asked grogy. " time to get up ron.." harry got dressed, and made sure he had everyhting. they had borrowed minisrty cars, and after everyone was in, they left. As they got to the between platforms 9 and 10, harry, ron, and hermione leaned against it caually, then slipped through. after putting their luggage on board, they decied to wave good by to mrs weasley. just before the hogwarts express turned the coner, she vanished out of sihgt. harry ron and hermione were looking for a compartment when malfoy, crabbe, and goyle showed up blocking their way. " hello potter, where ya going huh? weasley, don't look at me , ur making me poor!" he said smirking. " move draco, so we can get to a cmpartment," harry said cooly. they didn't move, hermione tryed to get by, but it wouldn't happen. " aahhhh! help crabbe,i've touched by it!" he cried. hermione looked hrut,, but she didn't want it to bee shown. Harry was really angry, but ron was the one who had to be held back. " expalarimus!" ron shouted, he wasn't the olny one. harry and hermione stood there with their wnads out. Malfoy, crabbe, and goyle were onconcious on the back wall.
       hermione looked alittle scared, but after they found a compartment, she settled down, un till, " the nerve of him! calling u an it!" shouted harry. this wasn't the right thing to say, harry and ron stood there watching tears well up in her eyes. " why does that always happen? " she said crying, " what's so bad about being muggle born?" harry walked over and sat down next to her. he leaned closer and hugged her. well, it wasn't really a hug, she was crying all over his clothes. ron sat in shock, he couldn't believe what harry was doing.. "it's ok hemione, who cares what malfoy says?" ron said sympatheticly. as the day went on, ppl kept poppng in to say hi. like, dean thomas, seamus finnigan, neville longbottom, fred, george, lee jordan, pavarti patil,lavender brown, and of course, the creevey brothers.

     " Hiya Harry!" said Dennis, " All right HArry?" asked colin. " Hi guys," " Hey...Hey Harry, did u know ur birthday's on July 31?" Dennis said. Ron snorted," Oh, Harry, u didn't tell me!" " ya Harry, u didn't tell me either!" Hermione gigled. " well, I didn't know!" he said laughing. Dennis and Colin were laughing too. After a game of exploding snap, Hermione said," I'm going to see how much longer." Ron watched her leave then said to Harry in a hushed voice," Hey, do u like Hermione? U two seemed offly close over there."
" No! Well, I don't know yet." "How can u not know you -" " Hey guys," it was Hermione, "we have10 mins then we'll be ther."
" Oh, that's great! I'm starving!"  Ron said rubbing his stomach.
        As Harry, Ron and Hermione got off, and hopped in to a horseless carrage with Neville too. They got up the stone steps, and into the Great Hall. The first years were lined up as usual , and Professor McGonagall placed the Sorting Hat on the stool. Everyone was watched and waited, then...
  Hello, I'm the Sorting Hat, place me on ur head.
 Do u belong to Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff,Slythern,or Gryffindor instead. I'll take a peek inside ur head, to find out just were to put u. Gryffindors who r brave and just, Slytherens who r devilishly sly. Ravenclaw who r cunning and loyal, or perhaps in Hufflepuff were brains will do. I will pick not u. So sit back and watch me work my marvles u will see. it's looking inside ur head, that's the key.
    The whole room went wild! nineteen new Gryffindors, twelve new slytherens, seven new hufflepuffs, and five new Ravenclaws. " Before we begin, I'd like to state, that swining yo,yo's, Filibusters, Dungbombs, and canary custards r not allowed. Along with other things that Mr. Filtch has posted up..Now, let the feast begin!" Dumbledore said. He clapped his hands three times, and plates and tryas of food sprung up. " Yes, Food!" Ron cried out, HArry and Hermione were looking at him laughing. They all seemed to eat about three plates each, plus desert.  When all the plates were wmpty, and dishes were gone, Pro. Dumbledore stood up and said," We've yet to find a D.A.D.A's teacher, so we will be holding out on that class. Well, I'm sure we've all had a good time so far, but, it's time for bed. Tommorrow is another day." Everyone got up and walked to their common rooms. As the Gryffindors got to thier tower, the protrait of the Fat Lady was there as always. " Pass word"  " Cabus Delium." As they went in to the common room, the  boys and girls divied. Harry walked into  the very familiar circular room. He was so tired that he plopped him slef on his four poster bed, and fell asleep.

 Chapter 4
                           Ron's Detention

     Harry woke up and got dressed, he waled down to the common room. " Morning Harry! Hermione's already gone. She said she had to check something in the library! It's before breakfast! How can she need to go to the library before breakfast?" Ron said. Harry smiled, and they left for the Great Hall. When they got there, Hermione was already eating. " Morning Ron, Morning Harry, I've got ur sheduals." she said. Harry and Ron sat down and looked at them. " Ok, we've got charms with Ravenclaw, then adouble period of Tranfiguration with Hufflepuff. Then lunch." Harry said.
     After breakfast they walked to charms. Pro. Flitwick gave a roll call, then, "Today, we r starting a new charm," he scweeked. " It's called the over comming charm. Does anyone know what it is?" Hemione's hand shot up at once. " It's a charm u put on a person to make them do simple tasks. and when they're in it, they think they're dreaming."
"right, 10 points to Gryffindor! Now, repeat after me, Overous Conum." The whole class repeted, " now pick partners, and off u go!" Harry, Ron, and Hermione were partners, And Harry stareted on Hemione. " Overous Conum," he said. At once Hermione looked very limp. " dance around the room," Hermione did it! " Stop, kiss Seamus on the check." Seamus, who was under the charm too, didn't even notice what Hermione did. Pro. Flitwick said, " To get themout say, Overous Reversous." " Overous Reversous!" HArry said.  Hermione was back," I can't believe u made me kiss seamus!" she roared. As the class went on, ROn made harry dance around the room screaming, ' i'm a pretty lady. Every one laughed, then Hermione made Ron act like Pavarti. When the calss was over, everyone was tellingeatchother what they made their partners do. Harry, Ron,Hermione, and Dean Thomas were telling what they did on their way to transfiguration. " I made Seamus kiss Lavender!"
" I made Hermione Kiss Seamus!" said Harry laughing.
           When everyone in class was seated, Pro. McGonagall stared. " Today, ur going to learn how to transfigure rabbits in to blakets." she said. Pro. McGonagall ( along with Hermone's help) passed out fuzzy little rabbits to everyone. " this one looks like Dudley!" Harry whisperd to Ron who snorted with laughter. Pro. McGonagall  told them the words to say,and walked around the room helpng ppl. At the end of class she told everyone that they could kep the rabbits if they wanted to.

 As they left, ppl were talikng about their rabbits. " Mine had wiskers!" Neville said
"So, my blanket ahd a bunny print on it, do u think she'll take off points 4 that?" " What r u all fussing about?"said Hermione," That's nothing! Mine wasn't the right shade of brown!" Everyone looked at her, "WHat? It wasn't!"  After that, they headed down to lunch. Harry, Ron, and Hermione sat down and filled their plates. Ron took out his shedual to see what they had next. "Look," he said looking at it,"we ahve care of magical creatures next!" Hermione, also looking at hers said, " Hmm..I wonder what he's prepared?"
"I hope it's nothing to dangerous!" Ron said, " Like tose scerwits last year!"  But Harry wasn't listing to any of them. " Harry, r u ok?"asked ron. ya, r u ok?" Hermione asked too. "Huh? Oh, i'm fine."
" Harry, we're ur best friends, i think we know when somethings up," Hermione said.
"ok, I sent Hedwig with a letter to padfoot, and it's been ages! Over a week now!" Harry explained,"Somethings wrong," he added.  " Harry, what couldbe wrong?" Hermione asked. "What if Hedwig's hurt, what if the letter never reached him?" Harry said. "Look Harry," Ron said,"nothing is wrong! u don't even know where padfoot is. He could be in Alaska for all we know! and  after a trip like that, Hedwig's gonna need to gain her strength!"
"yah, i guess ur right," he said sighing.
           After lunch they walked down toe sloping grounds to Hagrid's hut. While waitng for the rest of the class, Ron went to talk to Hagrid. Harry not in the mood, stayed back, Hermione joined him. " Is it ture?" said a voice behined him. Harry and Hermione spun around to find Malfoy, Crabbe, and Golye. "What r u talking about Malfoy?" said Harry. "What am I talking about.....I'm saying, is it true that u and this mudblood r a match?" "Watch it Malfoy!" Harry said sternly. "Oh, how cute, Potter stiking up for his girl...I'm gonna cry." Draco said sblack personing. "That won't be the first...."It was Ron. "What r u talking to him for Harry?" Ron asked.
" I was saying what a lovely pair the two make. The Famous Harry Potter, and the Mudblood." said Malfoy.
Harry and Hermione were holding Ron back. "And Weasley, u'll no doutlibly be the best man at the wedding," malfoy said. "Oh, but Potter, don't expect him to pay for anyhting, he won't even be able to  pay for a suit!" said Malfoy laughing. That was it, Ron had pulled out of their grasp oand dived on Malfoy, throwing punches left and right.
      Sparks from both their wands were flying everywhere. Crabbe and Goyle loooked more dumstruck than ususal, and Harry and Hermione didn't know what to do either. Hagrid caught sight of this and broke it up. " Now, wa's all this bout?" he asked looking at the two of them. Ron stood there with a bloody nose and cheak, staring dagger's at Draco. Draco had a bloody lip and nose, and stared back. " Come on ya two, hospial wing," hagrid said. He grabbed Malfoy and Ron by the collars of their robes, and told the class to stay put. As they made their way up the grounds, Malfoy spoke. " U just wait till my father hears about this! Ur family will be even poorer with ur father out of a job." he snapped.

Whoa!,Ron had some strength!

       " DETENTION! I GOT A DETENTION! ON THE FIRST DAY!" Ron sat down next to Harry at the start of divation. "What happened?" Harry asked. "SNAPE, THAT'S WHAT!" Ron replied. "HE was in the hospital wing when we walked in. Hagrid told Pomfrey what happend, and Snape had to step in! He gave me a detention!" Ron said angrilly. "Well, what about Malfoy?" Harry asked angrily. " NOTHING! He gas to do nothing!" " What do u have to do?" Harry asked. "I have to follw Malfoy around and serve him for a week! Can u believe it?" " NO way!" harry said. "Next time i see malfoy, I'm gonna.." Ron was interupted by the usual misty voice of Pro. Trelawny.

     "Good afternoon class. Welcome to ur first diviation class of this year. This semester, we're going to work in depth on omens, crystal balls, and planets." she said. "Excuse me?" said a voice in the back of the room. Everyone turned around, it was dean thomas. " Sorry, but, didn't we learn about that last year?" Then seamus finnigan joined in, "Yah, I mean, how much do u need to know? it's allthe smae jibberish," he said. ppl stared laughing, Lavender and pavarti were looking very stern at them. They both believed in Pro. Telawny very much, and she was looking stern to. " I saw a reation like this one comming," she stated. " Ya right!" Harry wispered to ron. " The only thing she sees r those glasses!" Ron said back putting  his fingers in the shape of her glasses. Harry was sblack personing wncontrollably in his seat.          " U wouldn't be saying that if it were u!" He stated." IT's gonna be a night mare!!!!!" he added. And it was... ROn was partners with Malfoy, because of Pro. Snape. And Harry and Hermione were partners. They were working on a light sleeping potion, and Pro. Snape told them to get out their supplies and start. "Weasley, cut my root for me," said Draco. Ron was gonna tell him off, but Pro. Snape walked by. Miserably, Ron started to cut the roots, mumbling rude words under his breath. By the end of class, Ron had made Malfoy's whole potion, and hadn't even stared on his own.
         "A ZERO! THAT JERK MADE ME MAKE HIS WHOLE POTION!" Ron yelled as they walked down the corridors.
"I can't believe it!"Hermione said. "I'll fail this whole week if I have to do that again!" Ron yelled.  Harry pulled out his shedual, "We have 10 mins untill Herboligy," he siad. "Who r we with?" Hermione asked, "Hufflepuff," Harry said.
" Good,cuz if i see Malfoy again, I'm gonna..." ROn said a few words that shouldn't have been  said as loud has he did. " RON!" said Hermione, " What?! I would!!" he said.
       Harry,Ron, and Hermione walked down to the greenhouses, meeting Pro. Sprout out side. "Green house 3 chaps!" she said. When they all got in, she said," Today, we're repotting the Paraphents. Can anyone tellme what they r?" Hermione's Hand shot up, as well as Neville's. "Yes, Neville"  Hermione looked happy for him, but a little disapointed. "They're a plant that is found in South Africa. They eat bugs, and give off bubbles. If the bubble tough Human skin, huge boils will apperer." he stated. "Good, 10 points to Gryffindor!" she said. " Now, Everyone must wear one of these masks and glooves. 4 ppl to a tray, and get going!" she said. Harry, Ron, and hermione went to a tray, they were quickly joined by Ernie MacMillian. Ernie was a 5th year Hufflepuff boy, who in ther 2nd year, accused Harry of being the Heir of Slythern. "Hey Harry,Ron,Hermione, mind if I join u?" he asked. "Not at all they said together. They stared to repot the Paraphents, yet Harry's kept trying to bite his fingers! By the end of the hour, everyone's fingers were bitten atleast once.
         "Finaly dinner!I'm Starving!" said ROn while stuffing his face with food. Then all of a sudden,  "Weasley, come cut my food, my hads r sore!" said a slimy voice. ROn turned around in discust to find Malfoy smirking. Ron slowly got up and trudged over to his table. Harry were looking at Mafoy with shock and anger. When Ron came back, he was screaming. "THE NERVE OF THAT GUY! CAN U BELIEVE HIM?" "Hey Ron, comeon it's late, we should go," said Harry.

 Chapter 5
The New Quidditch Captain

 Harry Ron, and Hermione were walking back to the common room, when they saw a familair face. It was Oliver Wood, the keeper and captain of last years qudditch team.  Last year was his last at Hogwarts, 'so, what was he doing here?' Harry thought. "Harry! How r ya doing? Ron, Hermione,"Oliver said nodding to them and smiling. "Oliver," asked Harry in Shock,"what r u doing here?" "Well, tommorrw I'll pick the new captain and new keeper for the Gryffindor team," he said. "really!" said ron, "What time tommorrow?" he asked excitingly. "7:00 at the quidditch feild. well, gotta see Mcgonagall see ya!" he said. "Harry, I'm gonna try out for keeper  tommorrw!" Ron said. "That's a great idea!" Harry said. Looking at Ron's face, Hermione could tellwhat he was about to say, but he didn't know how. "Harry, u should let Ron borrow ur firebolt tomaorrw." she said. Ron looking greatful that she said it, looked at Harry. "Ok, u'll get it 4 sure than!"harry said smiling. They headed gor the common room, talking all the way.
       The next day day came and night fell. Harry and Ron walked down to the Quidditch feild. Oliver was already there, setting up and getting the quidditch balls out. The rest of the team was already there, "Hey Harry!" said wood. "HEy Ron, u trying out?"  
"yep! said Ron grinning, more and more ppl came down to try out, as well as, " HERMIONE!" said Ron in shock. "Calm down, i came to watch."

 :) I like that... i wish this was the actual story so oliver could have a guest appearance in a later movie!!!

 Oliver was now calling people to try out for new team keeper, every time, he came out disapointed. Then it was ROn's turn, he mounted Harry's fire bolt and was off. By the time he came down, Oliver looked as if he had never seen anything like it. " That was BRILLIANT!!" hesaid " U didn't miss a single one!, Gryffindors, we found u a new keeper, Ron Weasley!" Said Oliver Beaming at him. Fred,George,Harry,Ron and Hermione were jumping up and down all together. " Can i see all of the team in the locker room please!" Wood shouted. When everyone was in there and settled, Wood was pacing around the room. Every one could tell he was gonna give another speach. " what happened? This isn't like u! Ur never lost for words!" said Fred, everyone laughed. "Now, even though i'm not in school this year, doesn't mean that any thing will change. U will still work hard, with a team like this, u'll never loose!" "Where have we heard that before?" George said smiling. "Now, ur new captain was very hard ot pick, But he or she won't be a slacker! They will work this team in to shape. Now the captain of the reserve team that I'm on, gave me permission to take time out of work, and check up on u guys, and show u some major league moves. so now, we have a keeper, and i'd like him to present him with something," said wood. Ron was looking very con fused. Oliver had handed  a slim box to Ron. He opened it, and inside was afirebolt.
      "But, how did u...why did u...." said Ron suttering.
"my reserve team got 8 instead of 7 on accident."
"How can I ever," Ron said weakly.  " Just go out ther, and win that d*** cup for Gryffindor."
" And we'll win it in ur name wood!" shouted Harry. "HERE, HERE!" the team cheared.  Wood's eyes were watering now, everyone was sad to see him go.
" Ok, any way, I want to introduce ur new captain,"

           "Ok, any way, I want to introdue ur new captian."
             The whole team ran out on the feild, Harry yelling," I'M CAPTAIN, I'M CAPTAIN! WOOD MADE ME CAPTAIN!" Harry and Ron ran over to Hermione and told her everyhting. But thay heard Wood speek again. "First quiddtich practice is when Harry?" Oliver said smiling. Everyone looked at him. "Um...uh.. this Friday, we start early this year!" he said. "SEE WHY I CHOSE HIM!" Oliver called. Harry, Ron, and Hermione walked back to the castle with the rest of the team.
            Once they had reached the common room, the whole room explodied. Cheers to Harry and Ron were being said by every Gryffindor. Ron was sitting on the floor in front of the fire, his new firebolt in front of him. He sat there for ten mins., just staring. Then, " I can't believe it! I own a firebolt!! YES!" he shouted smiling. Harry and Hermione, (who were playing chess) looked over at him and grinned. "Hey Harry, do u hear that?" Hermione asked. "ya, it sounds like...."
"Hedwig!" said Harry. He rushed ofver to the window and picked her up. She was weak and tired. Harry gave her some bacon flavored Berttie Bott's Beans, and put her in his bed to rest. Harry ran down stairs to the common room, a letter in his hand. He, Ron, and Hermione went in to a corner to read it.
              Dear Harry,
                       How r u? Sorry, but the trip wore Hedwig out, so I let her stay here till she was stong. Harry, don't say htings like that! I know u don't like ur cousin and uncle, but never say u want to kill them. Any way, once we find wormtail, we'll turn him in. Then u can come live with me. Hope Ron and Hermione r ok. next week I'll be in Hogsmade. Can u meet me out side of honeydukes? Send another owl with a reply.
                           Sirius
          " Ron" said Harry looking at him. "ya?" he replied.
"Do u think we could use pig? Hedwigs not health enough," Harry said. " Sure, hold on I'll get some parchment."  "Harry, why did u say u wanted to kill ur cousimn and uncle?" Hermione asked sternly. Ron came back and Harry expalined the whole ordeal. "Hec, I'd wanna kill em too!" said Ron. Hermione shot a ' how could u say that' look. Harry took a peice of parchment and quill and started writting to sirius.
       Dear Sirius,
                 I didn't really mean that, I was just mad. We'll meet u out side Honeydukes as soon as we get there.
"Harry," said Ron,"don't forget to tell him about tonight!" "Oh ya!" he said. U'll never guess what happened tonight! I'm captain of the quidditch team! oh, and Ron's the new keeper! Well, we'll see u there. Bye

      Harry, Ron, and Hermione got up and Harry tied the letter to Pig's leg. as the night when on, Harry and Hermione played against Ron in a game of chess, Ron still won. The common room emptyed little by litte, and by 11:30, Harry, Ron, and Hermione went to bed.
The next morning, they walked down to breakfast together. Harry and Hermione were poking and tickling eathother. Ron was looking in shock at the both of them. "Will u 2 stop flirting, I'm gonna hurl!" "We're not flirting!" Hermione said. after they ate breakfast, Ron pulled out his shedual. "AAHHH NO! We have douvle potions with Slythern!" "No way!" Harry pulled out his shedual too. "Great! Now I'm gonna get another zero!"
          They walked down in to the dungones, and there was Malfoy, Crabbe, Goyle, and Pansy were waiting. Malfoy and Pansy weren't going out, but she stood very close. "Oh look, Potty and his Mudblood girlfriend," he said smirking. "Whatch it Malfoy!" Ron said gritting his teeth. Malfoy turned his attention to Ron. " Well, well, why don't u just shut up and shine my shoes." " I don't have to!" "Yes u do," a cold voice came from down the corridor. "Weasley, that's ur detention," Snape said. "Now get on ur knees and polish Mr. Malfoy's shoes." ORn got down and did it, mumbling bad words under his breath. They all got in to class, and PRo. Sanpe started off with roll call. Harry and Hermione were partners in making their Flower Potion.
* a poison that tastes like a summer flower drink, but paralizes the drinker* Pro. Snape pared Malfoy and Ron together. He finnished Malfoy's, but ROn only got half of his done. When potions were done, they walked down to the green houses for Herbololigy. "ANOTHER ZERO!"Ron screamed.

CHAPTER 6
NEW STUDENTS

"Today, we're still working on paraphents! So, greenhouse three!" anounced Pro. Sprout. After repotting the paraphents, and sending Ernie MacMillian to the hospital wing, it was time for lunch. After a quick lunch, they headed back out side for Hagrid's. He had prepared centures to come and talk to the class from the forrest. Harry, and Ron left Hermione, and headed for diviation. Pro. Trelawny said that the stars were lined up in a percular way, and that some one die. She looked at Harry and her eyes teared up. Harry rolled his eyes and ron laughed. But Pavarti and Lavender were looking interested and intrigued.
         After another 10 announcements that Harry would die, they left. Harry and Ron joined up w/ Hermione and told her.  "Honestly.."she said annoyed. Pro.Mcgonagall gave them their grades for the rabbits, and taughut them how to change them back. "Good, dinner!" HErmione said. As they walked in to the Great Hall, they saw three studeants they had never seen before. One was tall with brown hair, another woth blonde, and the thrid had reddish, blondish brown. Harry, Ron, and Hermione walked over. "Hi, I'm Harry Potter," he said, 2 of the girls looked shocked and couldn't reply. "HEy, I'm Ron Weasley," "and I'm Hermione Granger." The two girls still were still shocked. THe third replied, " Hi, I'm Emily McKinley. We just transferred, I lived in the U.S. but my school was in Ireland." "Wow, Ireland" Hermione said. "Yah, I'm all Irish, though I don't have an accent. Oh, this is Meagan Tavares, she's in her seventh year." she said pointing to the tall brown haired girl. "And this is Brittany Henry, she's also a fifth year." "HI" they said to the girls. They still weren't talking. Ron was about to say something, but then, " Hello, I'm Malfoy, Draco Malfoy," emily giggled. "Malfoy, we were talking here!" Ron said. "Shut up Weasley, ur to poor to deserve riches as her!" he said. Emily instead of taking that as a compliment said, "Excuse me, but that was really rude! U should apologize." "I'm not apologizing my dear!" he said smiling. He pushed Hermione out of the way,"Move mudblood!" he said.Harry and Ron were pulling out thier wand when Emily said, "What did u call her? Hey, do u think ur better just cuz ur pureblooded? Well, my dad's a muggle, and so is my mum. My brother and i r wizards and witches." she pulled out her wand pointing at him. "Now, apologize, to both of them now!" she said. "Sorry," he mumbled. Brittany finally talked, "Hey, u shouldn't talk to him like that! He's right, she is a mudblood!" Malfoy smiled at her and whispered somthing in her ear, she laughed.
           " U didn't have to do that." said Hermione. "I'm just sick of being teased all the time, I know how it feels." ROn was looking at her in shock. "well, thanks," Harry said. "No problem!"  Harry, Ron, and Hermione sat down at the Gryffindor table. Pro.Dumbledore got up and said," We ahve three transfers, that need to be sorted." Pro. McGonagall piked up the roll of parchment. "Now when I call ur name, sit on the stool please, Henry, Brittany." Brittany was a little scared and was shaking slightly. "SLYTHEREN!" the hat screamed. "Tavares, Meagan.." Meagan rushed up there sat on the stool and jammed the hat on her head. "GRYFFINDOR!" shouted the hat, the table burst in to cheers. "McKinley, Emily" she walked up ther casually like it was no big deal. the hat barley touched her head when it screamed"GRYFFINDOR!"
            Again the table burst into cheers, "YES!" Ron said, Harry and Hermione looked at him."What?!" She walked over and Ron said, "U can sit here!" She sat in between Ron and Hermione. The plates magiclly filled up as usual. "Wow!" she said, "As many places as I've lived, I've neverseen this!" "What do u mean?" Harry asked. "Well, my dad's a major in the muggle army, so we've moved alot. My brother's in Gryffindor too, seventh year." "Well, how come he wasn't sorted today?" Hermione asked. "He got sorted by Dumbledore alone last night. He's sitting over there next to the twins. They're his best friends now." "hey, that's Fred and George! Those r my brothers!" Ron said. "Really? Cool." she said smiling. "Harry, do u like to read?"
"Um...no, not really do u?" "O yes! I read all my school books over here, plus Hogwarts, a History." she said.
"Really? wow me too!" shaid Hermione. when dinner was over, they were walking out of the Great Hall when they saw Malfoy and brittany kissing. all four of them laughed, and they showed Emily the way.

CHAPTER SEVEN
THE UNEXPECTED RELATIVE

          "Oh wow! wicked!" Emily said as they walked onto the common room. "So, Emily, what places have u lived?" Hermione asked. "Well, I was born in Monteray California, then we went to  Sandiego California. After that we moved to Arkansas, Louisiana, Saudi Arabia, then Buzbach Germany, Parzberg germany, then the us again. That's when i got my letter to the other school, but my dad was stationed in England, so i transfered."
"Wicked!" Ron said, she smiled at him. "There's my brother, Hey Ryan!" she called. He came over, 'they didn't look like brother and sister.' Harry thought. He had very dark brown hair, almost black, and green eyes. And she had reddish, blondish, brown hair, and bright blue eyes. "Whay's up Em? oh, this is Fred and George Weasley." "Ryan, this is Ron Weaslwy, Hermione Granger, and Harry Potter." "Hi guys!" Fred and George came over, "I've seen u've met our little brother!" said george. "Ryan has some great inventions! He's gonna help us with the shop!" Fred told them. "Well, got to go, we have to try out our Fizbang drink, see ya!" all three walked away.
           Then, the conversation took a weird turn. "Do u guys like sirius Balck?" Emily asked. Harry, Ron and Hermione looked at eachother nervously. "No why?" said Harry. "Oh, then maybe I shouldn't tell u this," she said. "No, tell us what?" he said. " Well, my uncle was best friends with him. He and I r really close. I always visited him in azkaban, thank god he got out!" she said.
"Who's ur uncle Emily?" Harry asked. "Oh, he died along with my aunt, I had a cousin, but I've never met him before. My parents didn't tell us alot cuz my mom cries when she thinks of him." Harry, Ron and Hermione were looking at her in pure shock. "Was his name James Potter?" Harry asked slowly. "Ya, how did u know?" she said. "Emily, u know that cousin u never met? That's me!" Harry said slowly. Emily laughed, " That's funny Harry! Oh, ur being serious." she said looking at his face. "what's ur aunts name? Lily?" "Ya!, that;s really wierd."  "I can't believe this!" Hermione scwelled.

After a brief chat of their lives, Emily challenged Ron to a game of wizards chess, And very surprisingly,  she won. All three couldn't believe it. At 12:00 they headed up to the rooms. Harry's head was swimming with what he had just found out. All those years, he could have been staying with the McKinley's. He put on his p.j.'s and jumped in bed. He heard Ron saying her name in his sleep. As Harry fell asleep, the dream came back.
        Sirius was tapping on the window. HArry got up and opened it. Sirius turned in to voldemort. He screamed, but know one heard him. He looked for his wand but vodemort had it. Then,"AVARA KEDAVRA!" the girl who's face was blurry before, was very clear now, it was emily. she dropped to the floor. THen he saw ron and Hermione looking at him dead. They got out their wands, tried to do a spell, but voldemrot reapeted the curse. Both of them fell to the ground.
          Harry was sweating, and his scar was hurt again. He looked over at Ron, he was sleeping.  Harry was trying to  think of what this all ment. He laied back down, eventually falling back to sleep.

Uncle Vernon never told me!"
"Harry, I'm really sorry," she said again. Harry took her hand and  led her into the Great Hall. She sat next to Hermione, who hugged her as well.

       Hagrid didn't have much time to chat, the rest of the calss was comming. When everyone was there, Hagrid began. "Now today, were gonna learn 'bout phoenix's. Can any one tell me what they are?" No body raised their hands except Hermione and Emily. "Ah, why don' you girls es'splain." "Well, phoenix's are bird born out of flames," said Hermione," They also die, but are reborn out of the flames." "Phoenix's are, no offence, really ugly when their born, but turn beutiful," said Emily," their tears also have the ability to heal." Emily looked over at Harry, as if she knew something. "Righ' 20 points to Gryffindor!" Hagrid said then, "Wait here, I'll be right back,"

Nobody could believe waht happened, especially Harry , Hermione, and Ron. Draco looked as shocked as ever, Emily didn't see what the big deal was.

"But know everyone thinks we're going out." Ron said. "So what's wrong with that?" she said sounding a little hurt. "Nothing waht so ever!" he said smiling. "Emily," he said stopping and looking at her," I know this is kind of soon and every thing, but do you really want to go out with me?"he asked blushing. She looked at him and smiled," YEs, i would love to!" she said. Harry and Hermione couldn't believe their ears. "Ya know Ron, if you too get Married, you'll be my cousin." said Harry. They all laughed.

         after repotting and Trimming the paraphents again, they walked into the Great Hall. HErmione and Ron were arguing about quidditch, and Emily and Harry were talking behind them. "Hermione can put up quite an argument can't she?" Emily said. "Yah, she...she's great."

"Oh, come on tell me! I'm your long lost cousin after all," she said smiling. "Ok, but you can't tell anyone! I do like her...alot."
"This is great! If Ron and I get married, and you and Hermione get married, then we'll all be related!" she said laughing.

CHAPTER 8
MEAGAN AND OLIVER

            After lunch, they had transfiguration, then diviation. "What class do you have next Em?" "Uh, diviation," she said. "Great!" Ron said. As they headed to the 7th floor, Emily and ROn were holding hands the whole way. They climbed the silver ladder up to the misty, hot room. "God, open a window!" emily said. They all sat down at a table,"This reminds me of Nelly's music video," Emily said. "What?!" Ron said, "Nothing," Harry replied, who knew what she was talking about. Then came a misty voice, "Hello class, I scence a new auroa in here," said Professor Trelawny. She peered around the room, "You, please come here."
               Emily got up and walked over. 'Probably gonna tell her she's gonna die to' Harry thought. "You are Harry Potter's cousin," she said in her usuall airy voice. "No I'm his sister," Emily said sarcasticly, the whole class burst out laughing. "As I was saying, I've seen your fate, you will die first, then Harry," she stated. Ron rolled his eyes and said to Harry, "Yah, and pigs are flying out of Percy's nose." they laughed, but Harry stopped, there was a sudden falsh back to his dream. She did die first! Then Professor Trelawny said, "You will also die your hair pink." That was it, HArry knew she was lying now. Emily, ROn and Harry looked at her as though she were crazy. After that, they joined Hermione and headed down for dinner.
           As they were eating, Pig came sorring down with a letter, he fell right in to Harry's pudding. He picked him up and turned to Hermione, Ron and Emily. "It's a letter from Sirius!" "You've heard from Sirius!" Emily said Quickly. They headed up to the Gryffindor common romm. Harry ripped opedn the letter, it said
   Dear Harry,
                Congradulations! Same to you Ron! So, this Saturday I'll see you there. Hi Hermione.

       "We're seeing Sirius on this satuday?!" Emily said, "I can't wait!" "You guys, I have something to tell you," Harry said. Harry told them about his dreams, everything. "OOOHHH, I don't like that at all! Maybe you should tell Dumbledore," Hermione said. As the night went on, Harry,Ron, Hermione, and Emily became friends with Meagan Tavares. She was also sorted the same night as Emily. "Hey, tomorrw's first Quidditch practice, do you want to come?" Harry asked. "Yah! I'd love to!" Meagan replied.
          That afternoon, around five, they all walked to down to the Quidditch feild, Oliver was already there. Harry, Ron and Emily were talking and behind them trailed Hermione and Meagan. "Hey Oliver," Harry said. "Hey, and who is this lovely girl?" He said with a dashing smile, kissing her hand. "This is Emily, my girlfriend!" Ron said. "Oh da**!" he said smiling again, Emily laughed. Then Hermione and Meagan came up. "Hi Oliver, this is Meagan tavares she's in her 7th year." Hermione said. "Holy s***!" he said, "Uh..H-Hi, I'm Oliver wood, I was the old keeper and team captian."
"The pleasures all mine!" she said smiling.
            During the whole practice Meagan and Oliver were talking and flirting. When Harry told everyone that practice was over, HArry looked around for Oliver, he was no where in sight. "Hey Ron, have you seen Oliver?" "Nope, I dunno where he went." So Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Emily went looking for him. "It's getting dark, where could he be?" Emily asked. "WAIT!" Hermione said,"Where's meagan?" "Oh this is just Great!" HArry said. They de cided to cheak the locker room, Ahrry found them. Oliver and Meagan were kissing eachother...alot too! Harry called the other three over," Oh my!" Hermione said. "Go Oliver!" Ron said,"Hey Em, why don't we do that?" he said smiling. She smaked him lightly. They decied to back to the castle, they waited up for Meg. Finally at 2am, she came in humming a tune. ;D

"What was that all about?" Ron asked. "Nothing, you'll find out soon enough." That moment Emily was walking down the stairs behind Hermione. She was putting two thumbs up and smiling, Hermione was a little red. "Yas Harry, I will be your girlfriend" she said softly. Harry was smiling, But ron looked wicked shocked. "Well that came out of no where!" he said in disbelief. "I think we should go down to breakfast," hermione stated. "Yah, I'll come," Harry said. "Are you two comming?"
"Um...we have to stay here,and work on an essay." Ron said,"I'm not really hungry anyway, are you Em?"
"Nope, not hungry," she said smiling. "OK, we'll see you later, Harry and I are going to see Hagrid after, bye."
            and they left, Ron and Emily snuggled back together. They heard someone comming down the steps. They got up to see who it was, it was.....

          Ron and Emily got up to see who it was....it was Meagan. "Hey meg, where ya going?" Emily asked. "Um...I-I'm going to try out my new broom on the feild." she said. "Where is it?" Ron asked. "It's already there, got to go! bye!' They didn't believe her, so they decied to follow her. She was heading for the Quidditch feild, and into the locker room. They soon found out why she was there.....As soon as she got in, she threw herself on Oliver and they started kissing again. Ron and Emily walked out on the feild again. "Well that was a little distrubing," Ron said. "Your tellin me!" Emily had only kissed Ron once, but she truned and kissed him again, and said "Come on, we have to go find Harry and Hermione!"
            They started walking to Hagrid's. "Now, why can't we do that more often?" he asked. "Ron, will you be patient?" she said turning and kissing hem again, a little longer this time.  They finnaly reached Hagrid's and knocked.

"Hagrid, we have to go," Ron said. "Thanks for the tea!" Emily said as they ran out.  "We have to beat them to the common room, we siad we'd be there!" she said. As they enterend the castle, they were stopped. "Mr. Weasley, Ms. McKinley, you know there is no running in the halls," Snape said.

"Oh Professor, we're really sorry, it's just we're in a hurry, it's really important!" Emily said. "To important to obey school rules?"  "Well, we didn't relize how fast we were going. We're really sorry it won't happe again."
"THAT DOESN'T MEAN THAT I'M GOING TO EXCUSE YOU!" he snapped. "Um...I'm sure that a man like you could understand...I mean, your really popular around here, so do you think you could just let this slide?" Snape was about to reply but.."Professor Snape, may I have a word? You two may go." Dumbledore said. They couldn't believe it!  They dashed up the stairs to the tower, and entered the common room. They did it, they beat them.
             They both sat down on the couch panting, Harry and Hermione walked in. "Hey Guys! The bus to Hogsmade leaves in ten minutes." Harry said. They got up and the two girls walked in front. "Harry, guess what?" Ron said,"She kissed me! twice to day!" Harry's jaw dropped. "No way she kissed you! AGAIN!" the girls stopped and beconed them to come.

        As they reached Hogsmade, they went striaght to Honeydukes. But there was no sight of Sirius anywhere. They showed Emily Zonko's, the post ofiice, honeydukes, and the shrieking shack. They went back to honeydukes and there was a large black, bear like dog.  Harry and Ron were in front of the girls, and Harry said "Hello<" the dog got up and walked. they walked up a hill that had a cave in it. Once they were inside, he turned back into himself. "Sirius it's really good to see you!" Harry said. "So, is everything ok? Hey Ron, Where's Hermione?" He said. "OH, she's still climbing up," Ron siad. Harry looked around, Buckbeak was  sleeping in a corner. "I bet he's tired," Harry said. "Ya, he re-" at that moment, Hermione came up.

Hasn't tried attacking just one mouse lately yet," she added with a giggling.
            There was and ockward pause, then "Wow you look like your mom!" Sirius said. "Really?"
"Yah, ya know I almost asked her to marry me. Then, Azkaban....So she met your dad, great man! but i can't believe that she or james didn't tell me they were related. How's your brother?"  "He's accutally good! Best friends with Fred and George Weasley." Emily said.
Hermione looked out of the cave, "Omg! it's malfoy and brittany!" she said.

             They walked down the hill and went into the three broomsticks, Professors McGonagall, Dumbledore, Sprout, and Hagrid were sitting at a table.

Harry,Ron, Hermione,and Emily sat down at a table near them.Ron ordered 4 butterbeers, but Harry told him to be quiet. He heard Professor Dumbledore say," Did you know that young Harry Potter,and young Emily McKinley are -" "A match?" Professor Sprout said. "No she's goin out wit someone else" Hagrid said. "Are cousins, " Dumbledore said. "NO!" "Yes" "How is that possible Albus?" Professor McGonagall said. "Emily's mother is James Potter's sister, she's the only muggle in her family. When they heard that Harry was living with other relatives,  she thought he was in good hands. Her mother didn't tell Emily, she hates talking about her brother being dead."
"So, they didn't find out untill she came here?"
"Correct!"
"They're both very bright students, but they always fool around!" said Professor McGonagall.
              After that, they started talking about different things. "Wow, does everyone know?" Harry asked, Emily looked over at him. "What's wrong with that?" she asked. "I just don't want everyone knowing that-"
"That youre related to a Mudbood? Fine you think that Harry!" she got up and stormed out. "I didn't mean it like that!" He siad angrilly. "Harry," Hermione siad quickly, "She doesn't know her way around here, she could get lost!"

   At that moment they all got up and raced out side looking for her, they couldn't see here any where. It was getting dark and cold, they decied to get  a teacher.            Eily woke up, she wasn't in the cave anymore, she was in the hospital wing. She tried to sit up, but couldn't, she looked around, Harry,Ron,and Hermione were asleep next to her bed. Sirius (the dog) was up though...

        "I have to go, bye Em!' he said turning. "I really have to go to the library so..." "Hermione go, I'll be fine." Professor McGonagall and Dumbledore left as well. Ron sat next to her on the bed, and held her hand. "I'm really, really sorry Em," Harry said. "It's ok..." "Then why are u crying?"

"The minute that i left the Three Broomsitcks, my owl, dropped a letter tho me. I-It was from my dad, it was the last letter before he died." She put her hands in her face and cried, Sriuis walked over and held her while she did. "I can't believe it!" Ron siad, "I'm really sorry."
Harry siad," Em, I'm sorry, I'm really sorry." "It's not ur fault, he was in the war, he died with honor, and pride serving the U.S."she said firmly.

(for those of u who want to know...my dad's not really dead..)

           Madam Pomfrey finally let her out of the hospital wing. Every one heard about Emily's dad, and everyone exept the Slytherens comforted her. Halloween was a few days away,and one night at dinner, Pro. Dumbledore announced something.

   On there way to the common room, theyfound......
"FRED?!" Ron said in shock, "ANGELINA?!"
"Oh, hey Ron," Fred siad blushing. HArry looked from Fred to Angelina, then back to fred. 'Fred, ho-" but Ron was stopped, Emily had kissed him again,then she winked to Fred and Angelina. They looked at her very shocked, yet grateful. "So, ikkle ronnykins has a girlfriend," Fred said. "And he's not the only one as I see!" Harry siad,"I can't believe that yo-" At that moment something happened that nobody thoult would....Hermione had kissed Harry, their first real kiss, and he looked dazed about it.  "We won't tell, if you don't tell," Said fred.  "Sounds good!" said Hermione,  Ron and Harry were still in amazement.  "C'mon you two!" said Emily, they pulled them up to the tower.
         Around came Halloween night, as well as the ball.  Hermione was a princess, with her hair curled in a bun, and emily was a peasent girl, her hair was down, but naturally a little curly. Hermione wore a green gown with a teara and emily had a low cut white top on with leather strings to tie it together in the front and a blue skirt.  All they could talk about was Harry and Ron.  The boys however were both knights, they even wore armer that could be taken off.  Earlier the girls had told Harry and Ron to meet them out side the Great Hall at seven.  They joined up with them and they entered the Great Hall.  It was spectacular!  There were huge jack-o-lanterns lit up, and bats, and of course the ghosts.  "This is wonderful!  I've never seen anything like it!" Emily said.  There was also the witches of three preforming.  They all sat down at a table, and looked around.  Seamus the vampire and Lavander the fortune teller were dancing.  And Dean Thomas and Pavarti Patil (prince and princess) were also dancing.  Harry looked around and saw Malfoy by himself, he was a king.  Brittany dumped Malfoy because he slapped her but they didn't know why...Harry nugged Ron, and pointed at Malfoy, they started laughing.  Harry on Ron asked the girls if they wanted to dance, they of course accepted.  After a dance, dinner, and another two dances Emily was getting too hot.  "I'm going for a walk outside, anyone want to join?"  
"I'll go Em," said Hermione.  they got up and walked out on the grounds.  "I really love Harry,"    "Was that the first time you guys kissed?"    "Well, ya...we'be done it more since then thought," she added in quickly blushing.  Emily laughed, she was quickly occupied and led off by Pavarti and Lavender,  Hermione walked on not meeting or seeing anyone.  She walked into the garden and sat on a bench.  "Nice night isn't it?"  said a cool, cold voice behind her.  She turned around, it wa Malfoy.  "uh...ya, i guess so..." she said.  "Ilove the stars," he siad slowly, "specially the ones in your eyes."  Hermione looked up at him, "What are you saying?"she asked.  He sat down next to her.  "I'm saying that I want you!"  " I thought u hated ppl like me?!"  he inched closer, and she got up and started backing away, she hit a bush wall behind her.  Draco got up and walked toward her...."You know u like me.." he said his face getting closer.  "Malfoy, please don't do this!" she pleaded.  He grabbed her sholders and she tried to get away but she couldn't.  "LET ME GO!" hermione said, his face getting closer.  she jerked away, ripping her shirt.  "What's wrong?" he said advancing on her. "GO AWAY DRACO!"  he walked toward her still, "PLEASE DON'T DO THIS!" she repeated.  Hermione turned and rean, she looked back and bumped into some one, it was Harry.  "harry thank God it's you!"   "What happened to you shirt?"    "Malfoy came on to me!"  she said, "he pinned me against a wall and i jerked away, ripping my shirt. he's after me!"   "Come on," he said, then she turned to look back one last time and when she turned around, Harry had turned into Malfoy!  "Hermione, Hermione?"  she was being shaken.  Hermione woke up with a start, she was in that garden lying on a bench.  it was Emily.

"That's really creepy!!!!"  emily said .  Harry and Ron were talking at the table, they walked over.  "Hey, get your air?"  Harry asked.  "Ya," she said, Em looked over at Malfoy, who winked.  "Is there something going on here?"  Harry asked.  Emily said, "No, nothing."  
      After a few more dances, the ball was over.  As they were walking out, Emily heard a boice in her ear.  "Why'd u run?"  She turned around sharply, it was Malfoy.  "Whar are uyou talking about?" she asked.  "I had the same dream as Hermione, only it was you.  I COULD GIVE YOU ANYTHING!  AND YOU CHOSE POOR BOY!!!" he snapped.  Harry was holding Ron back.  "HE'S BETTER THEN YOU'LL EVER BE!"  she shouted back.  "Oh Ya?!"    "Ya!"  Draco walked over and kissed her, she pulled away.  "Better then that?"  he said sneering.  She slapped him as hard as possible, he staggared back.  "Yes, because he has decency!"   "Fine be like that!!"
"I will!" she walked over to Ron, "Ron I-I-" she said tears starting down her cheecks.  She turned and ran  to the dormitories.  "I'll talk to her Ron,"  Hermione said.  Harry let Ron go finally, and they walked to the common room.

Cuz I get to kill him first!"  They walked into the common room, Emily was talking and crying to Hermione, she saw Ron and fled to the girls dormatory.  Hermione ran after her,"He must be furious!"  Emily cried.  "Ya, at Malfoy, not you!--"

"--She must think I'm surious at her!" Ron said.  "Maybe you should just go talk to her then"  Ron walked up to the girls dormatories and knocked. "Emily, can i talk to you?"  Emily opened the dorr and her hugged her.  They went down to the common room and talked.  "Well, i hope everything works out!"  Harry said.  "Ya me too."  They kissed and Harry went to bed.  He had the same dream over again, he woke up sweating.  He looked around, there was a letter on his bed, he picked it up and read it.

Dear Mr. Potter,
        You know who I'm am, we've meet on several occation.  I want you to beware, I'm comming.

Harry jumped up and shook Ron.  "Ron! Ron wake up look!"
"Whas all this 'bout harry?" Then he turned over and fell asleep.  Harry decied to try to sleep again, but he couldn't.  Finally at 2am he fell asleep.

THE LETTER!

    Harry awoke the next morning with a start.  He got up, dressed, and ran straight to the common room.  No one was there, he raced down to the Great Hall, the letter clutched in his hand.  He saw Emily and Hermione arguin and Ron talkin to Neville.  Harry sat next to Emily.  "You guys look.." he was cut off.  "Mornin' Harry!"  said Ron.  "You guys, I got a letter last night."   "From who?"  Hermione asked.  "I think from Voldimort," everyone winced except Emily and Harry.  "really, you, you don't think he's around here do you?"  Hermione asked.  "I don't know, maybe.  What if Voldimorts in the forest?"   "Will you stop saying that name!" Ron snapped.  "Maybe you should tell Dumbledore!"  Hermione said.  "Let me see the letter Harry!"  Emily said, "Uh, ok what for?" he said handing it to her.  "If he did write it, then there is a special hidden signature."  "Are you saying it could be a prank?"   "Well, it's possible!"  she siad examining it.  "Bepartow," she said, at the top of the parchment, the dark mark appered. "Oh No!" she said, Weshould go to Dumbledore!"

Dumbledore's eyebrows raised.  "An internet site, it had a spell to reveal it...look...Bepartow." she said. the mark appered in the coner again.

"C'mon Harry, let's go,"  Hermione said. they left the owlery, and back to the Gryffindor Common room.  Harry sat down, Emily looking at him.  "Harry, everything's  going to be fi - Hey, what's glowing inside your robes?"  Harry took out the moon neclace that professor Lupin gave him.  "it's glowing!  I'ts glowing moony!  he's comming!"  he siad turning to Ron and Hermione.

hey guys thanks so much for ur replies and i love compliments like that lol here's summore!

"Who's comming?"  EMily asked.  "Professor Lupin," Harry said,  Harry, Ron, and Hermione explained everything to Emily about their Thrid year.  After at least an hour of it, "Oh! so, Scabbers was actually wormtail, Lupin's a warewolf, and Siruis is ur godfather?" she said.  "Ya plus all the other stuff in between."  Harry added.  "But last year at the Triwizard tournament, when I touched the cup and it took me to Voldimort and he, well...he came back."    "WHAT?!" Emily said.  "What if he apperiarates right out side the grounds? and hids in the forest?" she stood there looking at him with concern, "harry, we need to just cool down and think..."  
I Don't want to think about this righ tnow,"he siad.  "Do you want to go for a walk? Or to see Hagrid?" Hermione sugessted.  "ya, let's go see him."  
    They walked down the  sloping grounds, and when they reached Hagrids hut they knocked.  They heard Fang Booming behind the door.  "Get back Fang!"  Hagrid opened the door.  
"Well, hello! Bout time you three came ta see me!" he siad chuckling.  "Three?  Hagrid, there's four of us...me, Harry, Ron and E - where's Emily?"  HErmione said.  "well, if she's anything like Harry, then she's off havin' and adventure...or gettin' inta trouble" Hagrid said with a grin. "Le's go look fer her."  They all started looking around and finally Ron found her.  "hey she's over here!"  she was petting some sort of dog  in a cage behind Hagrid's garden.   Hagrid ran over "Be carful! That's a warewolf!" turns off an' on all the time!"  Emily stuck her hand throught the fance and pet the dog, it was cute until, "EMILY WATCH OUT!" Hermione ran and pulled her hand out, takaling her. "What was that all aobut?" she siad getting up.  "The ting was about to bite you!"    "Hermione," she said laughing,  "It was yawnight!'  the dog turned into a warewolf when she had taken her hand out, she was about to stick it back in but, "I wouldn' do tha!" Hagrid siad.  It was too late, this time Emily epend the gate and stepped inside.  She started pet him again and tuned back.  "See, he just wants company...he's only a baby!" she said.  "Come on, let's go inside," ron said.  Emily got out, but whipered, "I'll visit you tonight ok," then she was off.  THey all sat down at Hagrid's table.  "Is that our next class Professor?"  Harry, Ron, and Hermione snikered.  "What?" she said.  "Jus Hagrid!" she said beamming at her.  "So do ya like critters, magical ones?"  
"Oh, I love them! But there's one pet i've always wanted!" she said with a little glitter in her eye," a baby dragon."  Harry Ron and Hermione's jaws dropped, "A DRAGON?!" harry siad.  "Ya! when i visited Romainia this dragon chaser named John had a baby Norwegion Ridgback! Al though he wasn't bery small."
"Whas his name NOrbert?" Hagrid asked a tear in his eye.  "Ya! He was sweet -"
"Was he ok? health wise ya kno?"  
"Ya, very healthy."  Hagrid told her about Norbert.  "so you owned a dragon!"  she said with excitment.  Harry rolled his eyes, "They're illegal!" hermione siad. "So?!" Emily replied, hermione huffed.  "What ever, we came here to tell you somehting Hagrid," Harry said.  He told Hagrid the story aobut the letter.  "Well, tha makes me feel better 'bout livin' next ta the forest!" Hagrid siad.  
    At that moment, Ginny burst through the door. "Oh! hi harry," she siad blushing, "Ron! George is hurt!" they got up (joined by hagrid) and followed Ginny to the quidditch feild.

hey guys thatnks for bein so patient with me i've had alot of homework lately so anyway here's summore!


"George!"  ROn ran over to him, his leg was twisted in a very unusual way and his broom next to him.  "Ron, is that you?  Harry, Hermione?"   "Ya, calmdown George."  Ginny ran to the castle Hermione conjured a strecher and placed him on it.  Emily stood next to him blocking the sun.  They walked up to the castle, George floating...  After a few hours George woke up.  Ryan, Fred, Ron, Ginny, Harry, and Hermione were there.  "Hey chaps!  I had a dream where an angel was standing next to me  there was light all around her!"  he said laughing.  "Who was that?"    "Er-me" EMily came into the room.  "Hey I'm Emily...remember?"   "D*mn!  Hey I'm George," he said smiling.  "I'm Harry's cousin...Remember?"  "Not really,"  and again they explained the whole thing to him.  "I hope you feel better," she said.  "You know how you can make mee feel better?"   "HOw?"   "Just a little kiss would be nice..."   "George,  come on how cheesy can ya get?"  Fred siad.  She bent down and said in his ear, "I'm taken...sorry," she campe up kissed him on the cheek and joined ROn.  "I SAID TEN MINUTES! EVERYONE OUT!"  Madame Pomfrey came bustling in.  The room filtered out, and Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Emily said good bye, emily winking, and they left.

LORD VOLDIMORT'S SECOND MOVE

            About five days later, Madam Pomfrey finally let George out of the hospital wing.  Harry awoke suddenly and looked outside, the grounds were covered in a deep frost.  He walked down stairs to the common room.  Hermione and Ron were there playing chess.  "Mornin' Harry!" Ron said.  "How do you always win?!"  Hermione said loosing again.  "Hermione...Ron...where's Emily?"   "Emily? Uh, I think she went,well, I don't know where she went," Hermione stated.  "She wasn't in her bed when I got up."    "She's probably in the Great Hall, let's go." Harry replied.  They all walked down, but she wasn't there either.  "Where could she be?"  Ron said getting annoyed.  
            Just then they heard two boices outside.  "Ms. McKinley, what are you doing out here?"    "Well, professor you see I - I was I was just..."    "You were just sneeking around, ten points from Gryffindor!"  They saw who it was, it was Snape and of course Emily.  "BUT THAT'S NOT FIAR I DIDN'T EVEN DO ANYTHING!" she said.  "TEN MORE POINTS FROM GRYFFINOR!! GET INSIDE, MY OFFICE...NOW!  JUST LIKE YOUR COUSIN! ALWAYS TALKIN BACK...WELL I WON'T HAVE IT!"  Snape had her by the arm, and they were heading in direction of his office.  Harry, ROn, and Hermione followed, Snape threw her inside.  "SIT DOWN!" he snapped.  They were watching threw the open crach in the door.  "Detention  Ms. McKinley!"   "DETENION?! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!" she replied.  Snape shot a glare at her and then looked towards the door.  "POTTER! WEASLEY! GRANGER!" he spat, "Get in here at once!"  EMily looked at them in shock, "What are you doin? Come to rescue you little partner in crime have you Potter?"  "No sir we w-"   "Hold you tongue! You will all have detention!  It will take plave tomorrow at 11:00 pm and you will meet  Mr. Filch at the Great Hall.  And THIRTY points from gryffindor!  Get out!"  he snapped.  
            "Well, he woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning!" Emily said as they walked out of the dungeons.  "Emily, were were you? How come you got in trouble?"  Harry asked.  "Well, I went to visit Curly last night and fell asleep next to him."    "YOU WHAT?!" Ron said looking shocked, "WHO'S CURLY?"  Emily laughed, "No, Ron, there wearewolf Hagrid has, I went to visit him last night, I fell asleep next to his cage.  Hagrid found me at i Slept hin his house."  "Oh, in that case then..."   "Ron, you know i would never do somthing like that!" she said.   "Come on, let's go to the Great Hall," Hemrione siad.  THey all sat down and filled their plates.  "My arm is Killing me"!  Emily said, just then, Harry noticed something.

     Just then Harry noticed something..."Emily! Your bleeding!"   She pulled up her sleeve and there was a deep cut in her arm in the shape of a 'V'.  Harry looked at her, they all did.  "Is tha-that a 'V'?" she said.  "Y-Yah!"  Harry replied...outta know where she fainted.  "Come on we have to tell Dumbledore!"  Harry said.  He ran up to the staff table, "Professor Dumbledore, we need you to see this!"  They got up and showed him Emily's arm.  Everyone in the Hall was silent and watching.  "Take her to the hospital wing, I'll be there momentaraly."  Hermione and Harry carried her there, with Ron helping too.  
     About five minutes later, Professor Dumbledore appered.  Madam Pomfrey was bustling around, and Emily was awake.  She looked up at Dumbledore, "Professor, I had nothing to do with this I swear!  It was there when I woke up and -"  
"My dear, calm down.  I didn't expect you at all.  Now, what happened?"  He said looking at the four of them.  "They didn't do anything." she said.  Emily took a deep breath and began, "The other day at Hagrid's, we, well, I found a puppy that turned into a warewolf.  Well, it's only a baby, and we have a connection.  Anyway, I went to visit him last night, and fell asleep.  Hagrid found me and put me in his house for the night."  
"I see," he said,  "Is there anything else?"
"Well, I didn't know if it was a dream or not, I hardly remember it..."
"What is it?"  he asked.  "Well, I think this is what happened.  I saw a bunch of ppl come out of the woods. One was infront, he looked at me, took a knife and did this." she said pointing at her arm.  "Then, they laughed, but they heard someone comming, so they left.  I don't know if that's a dream or not."  Harry looked at Dumbledore who's face was very stern.  "Thank you, I must go, I must wourk this out..."  then he turned and left.

"No, he's not!"  she ran outside, "Curly? Curly? He's not here!" Harry , Ron, Hermione and Hagrid ran out after her.  "But I didn't even open the cage last night!"  Emily said.

"Ron, get me som parchment will ya? Em, can u get me a quill please?" Harry sat down and wrote:
                        Dear Sirius,
                               I've still been having those dreams.  And today, well last night, Emily went to visit and animal of Hagrid's.  She fell asleep, and some people took a knife and cut a 'V' in her arm! She's okay, tell beaky hi for me.

Harry tied the letter back on to Hedwig, and she left.

THe grounds were covered in a thick layer of glisting snow.  He walked down the stairs to the common room.  NO one was there, he passed out of the portrait hole. and walked down the the great hall.  There he saw Ron arguing with Hermione about god knows what and Emily sitting close by not talking to anyone. She looked as though she were writing something. Harry made his way over to her. "Morning!" he said, she jumped in her seat and closed the note book she was writing in. "Oh, uh...morning Harry," she said sounding a little scared, she looked really tired as well.  "R u ok?" he asked. "Huh? o um..ya I"m fine," she replied. At the moment, Neville dropped his spoon, and she jumped even higher clutching her arm looking around.  "Emily, is your arm still hurting you?" Harry asked.  "No, I just didn't get any sleep last night. I drank coffee the whole night!" she said. "WHY?!"
"Because, he's gonna get me, and you! I sat outside you door last night ya know!"  
"Emily, why did you do that?!"
"Harry, wake up! Voldimort's comming, and he's comming to kill me, Siruis, Ron, Hermione, and anyone else that get's in his way infront of you. I've gotta go..." she said shortly.  Harry watched as she left.  "MOrning Harry!" ROn said as he sat down.  Hermione kissed him on the cheek, "what a lovely morining right Em?"  she said, "Em? Emily? Where did she go now?"  
"I don't know.." ROn said frowning slightly. After breakfast, Harry, Hermione and Ron had a snowball fight who were later joined by Seamus, Dean, Fred, and George. After throwing one or two, Harry looked up. Emily was dashing out of the Forbidden Forest and into Hagrid's Hut.

Hermione smacked him, and smiled.  Harry didn't though..."What is it?" he asked sternly.  emily was about to say something when someone knocked on the back door, and in came Sirius.  Sirius first, then "P-P-PROFESSOR LUPIN!"  Harry said.  "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!"  He smiled at the their shocked faces. "I'm here to see you three.  Emily and I have just gotten aqainted in the forest."  Professor Lupin still had shabby robes on and bacgs around his eyes.  Hagrid ahd just noticed Sirius.  "Sirius Black! Sirius Black!" Harry looked horrified, "How ya been?" he boomed.  "What?" Hermione said.  "We've told him the whole story Hermione,"  Sirius said.  "An' Beaky's ok!  Where is he?"  
"He's right in the forest there," Lupin said.  Hagrid rushed out there and looked for him.  Buckbeak stretched his wings and pawed the ground when Hagrid went over.  "Remus, tell them the real reason your here." Harry said.  Harry told them what he'd just seen her do and they ran down to Hagrid's.  They knocked on the door, and walked in.  Emily was sitting there having tea with Hagrid.  "Hello there!"  Hagrid said smiling.  Harry looked at Emily, "What were u doing in the forest?"
"Harry, what r u tal-"
"Don't lie Em, what were you doing?"
"I-well, I can't tell you!" she said.  "WHY?!" Ron asked.  "Cuz it's a surprise for all of you..."
ron smiled, "Now Em, u can't make out with ur cousin or a girl!" Hermione smacked him, and smiled.  Harry didn't though..."What is it?" he asked sternly.  emily was about to say something when someone knocked on the back door, and in came Sirius.  Sirius first, then "P-P-PROFESSOR LUPIN!"  Harry said.  "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!"  He smiled at the their shocked faces. "I'm here to see you three.  Emily and I have just gotten aqainted in the forest."  Professor Lupin still had shabby robes on and bacgs around his eyes.  Hagrid ahd just noticed Sirius.  "Sirius Black! Sirius Black!" Harry looked horrified, "How ya been?" he boomed.  "What?" Hermione said.  "We've told him the whole story Hermione,"  Sirius said.  "An' Beaky's ok!  Where is he?"  
"He's right in the forest there," Lupin said.  Hagrid rushed out there and looked for him.  Buckbeak stretched his wings and pawed the ground when Hagrid went over.  "Remus, tell them the real reason your here." Sirius said.  "Ok, I'm the new Defence against the dark arts teacher." Harry, Ron, and Hemrione smiled.  "Are you serious?!"  Ron said.  "Yep!"

"ooo Emily..."  she turned around then SPLOSH!  A snow ball hit her in the face.  "Harry!" she said, " I"m gonna kill you!"  she ran after him and tackled him to to the ground.  Hermione came over and put snow down her back.  "OY! THAT'S FREEZING!!!!" she said.  ROn ran at emily, "CHARGE!!!!" Harry, Ron and HErmione ran at her.  "Hey! Three agianst one that's not fair!" After two hours of snow fights, they walked up the castle soaking wet.  They were walking up to the Gryffindor common room when they were stopped.  "Ah, the two mudblood's, poor boy, and the famous harry potter!" said malfoy.  "What do you want malfoy?" Hemrione asked.  "emily knows, don't you?"  He said turning to her.  "What are you talking about?" she said. "Yes, Mr. Malfoy, Ms. McKinley has no idea what ur talking about so just move along now..." said dumbedore. As malfoy left dumbledore turned to them. "I know that this may come as a shock, but voldimort may be no farther than the twon over."
"How is that possible?" Ron said. "I cannot explain now, but you four will stick together, don't go out after dark, sirius will be staying here in you dromatory."  He said to Harry and Ron.  "Now,  Professor lupin will be teaching defence agianst the dark arts from now on. So listen carefully to us, and be careful!"  he left  and harry turned to the other three. "What aobut Hagrid?"  
"Maybe we can ask Dumbledore if he can stay in the castle?" Hermione said. "Come on, let's go," Ron said.  
     As they entered the common room, they saw everyone around the bulletin board.  Herry got through and it said there would be another Hogsmade trip soon.  Harry sat down w/ Ron and Hrmione.  "What are we gonna do?" Hermione said.
"We can't fight you-know-who...were only kids!" ROn said.  Harry looked around, Emily was in a corner on the floor, writting in her notebook again.  Something's up... Harry thought, he got up and walked over there.  He tapped the wall and she jumped agian holding her arm. "Oh, hey Harry," she said closing the book.  "Em, what's up?" he asked. "Nothing!"
"You've been jumpy all day, writting in that book and when I appologized for accuzing you, you still looked like you were hiding something." he said.  "What, so I've  been alittle jumpy, u can't blame me!" she said hotly.  Harry looked down, he saw another, but smaller, 'V' cut on her ancle. "EMILY! You got another cut!" Harry said.  "I know."
"Well, are you gonna tell dumbledore?"
"What's the point?" she said gettting up. "I'm tired, i'm tired i'm going to bed." she said walkign to the girls dorms. "Emily wait!" he said, but she didn't stop.

CHAPTER FOURTEEN
CLASS

         Harry woke up the next morning and walked down to the Great Hall.  Ron was taking to Dean, hermione was talking to lavender and Emily was sitting alone, buttering her toast.  Harry walked over and sat down next to her.  "Oh, Harry, I'm sorry about last night, I was just tired."
"It's ok, but why do you keep writing in that book?"
" It's .. uh.. just a diary..."
Ron and Hermione walked over, "Hey, morning!" they said together.  Emily told them about her second cut.  "Well, you should tell Professor Dumbledore right away!" Hermione said.
" Look we have to go to class..." Emily stated.  They walked down to Hagrid's hut.  Then after that they had double potions, they walked down to the dungeons.
" Hello Mudbloods!"  said Brittany.
"Oh, Brittany, how's it going?" Hermione asked cooly.
"What's it to you?"
"Well, I just wanted to know how Draco could like a 'mudblood' over a 'pureblood'."
"Shut up!!"she said, " I don't care, I have a boyfriend!"
"Really?"
"Ya, Bobby!" she said. There was a talk boy standing next to her. He was huge, and had blonde hair as well.
"Hey Bobby..." Emily said
"What?!"
"You two really look great together.."
"I know.....wait...why?"
" Because you're both blonde and stupid!"
The whole Gryffindor class laughed."What did you say Ms. McKinley?" the oily voice sounded from behind them and Snape came into view...Emily froze.  "Do you want to scrub more pots like last detetion?"
"No, sir," she said quietly.
"Then apologize and ten points from Gryffindor!" he said.
"Sorry..." she siad gritting her teeth.
         As potions class went on, she got baggered the most. "why is your potion so oily?" he snapped, "You did it wrong again!" he said turning.
"It matches his hair," Emily whispered to Hermione. At the end of calss he graded them and they were off.  "I HATE HIM!" Emily said.
"We know!" Harry replied. They walked into the Great Hall for lunch.  While they were eating, Hermione pulled out her shedual. "Hey, we have Defence against the dark arts next!"
"With who?" Harry asked.
"Ravenclaw and it's a double!"

    After lunch they walked down to the Defence Against the Dark Arts class room.  Professor Dumbledore and Professor Lupin were standing in the front of the class.  
"Good day," Professor Dumbledore said, "Professor Lupin and I have come to teach you this calss.  Now I weill be working on jinxes and hexes with you, and he will be working on more complex and dangerous creatures.  So, let us start."
Professor Lupin got out a pice of parchment and said roll call.
"Ok, no w today next week, will be on hexes and jinxes.  Who knows the difference?"  Dumbledore asked.  As usual Hermione's hand shot up first.  
"Yes, Ms. Granger."
"Well, a hex makes the person evil you see - "
"I'm sorry, but that's more adbanced, just the bases first please..." he said smiling.  Emily rose her hand. "Yes, Ms. McKinley?"
"Ok, jinxes are something you put on someone to stop them or give them bad luck.  And hexes are something ou put on a person to repeat what they're doing or give them bad luck."
"Correct! Now tell me some."  People everywhere where putting thier hands up.
"The lamburg Hex!" Labender said.
"Ah, yes, a hex put on Alexander Lamburg which made him to keep getting...eh. sick if you know what I mean."
"The Rare jinx!" Seamus shouted.  "
"Yes, a jinx which is the most used.  Makes the person stop seeing."  And the more it went on, after talking about them, they had to write notes for the rest of the class.
    After Defence Against the Dark Arts, Harry, Ron, and Emily walked to diviation.  They climbed the silver ladder and entered the room.  It was stiffiling!  Harry could hardly breath.  They found a table and sat down.  
"Hello class," said Professor Trelawney, in her usual misty airy voice.  "Today, we're planet gazing."  She took out  a map and looked up everyone's birthday and what planets were aline.  Everyone's were good except Harry and Emily's.  
"YOu will die!  And you were born in the summer right, your blue eyes tell me."
"Um, I was born in late October..." Emily replied.
" We'll Neptune was off so it is clear that you will die."  She looked up Harry's  next, her face turned more solem. "You will go next, a horrible fate! After your cousin!"  Harry rolled his eyes.  Then after a few more announcements  that they were going to die, class was over.
    They walked down the corridors after getting down from the ladder.
"She's such a fraud!" Ron said.
"I know! Like I'm ever gonna die my hair pink!" Emily said.
"And everyone dies!" Harry said, "Why doesn't she just tell everyone else?"  They met Hermione at the Entrence Hall and walked into the Great Hall for dinner.  Halfway through, professor Dumbledore stood up.  
"Everyone is to not go out after dark."  There was a sudden murmer through the Hall. "We have suspitions that dark wizards are living in or right outside the forest.  So no going out after dark, Thank you," he sat down and everyone burst out talking.
"Maybe Sirius Black is back!"  They heard everyone talking about Sirius.  Harry wanted to tell everyone that he was ok, but he know that it would just cause trouble....

THE NEW DREAM

        After dinner, Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Emily walked back up to the Gryffindor common room.  They heard Malfoy talking so they hid.
"Look Bob, Brittany's mine! You got it! So dump her, or I'll dump your body!"  he snapped.  Bobby they turned and met up w/ Brittany, and he dumped her and she fled off crying.  "Brittany what's wrong?" Malfoy asked.  "he dumped me! Your the only one that understands me!"
"Dry your trears hun, your comming w/ me!"  He took her by the arm and walked down to the dungeons.
"WHAT A JERK!" Emily said, "I can't believe he did that! and he likes me....urgh!"  They all laughed and walked into the common room as they walked in, an owl was on an arm chair.  He flew over to Harry, dropped the letter, and left.  Harry ripped open the letter, it said.....

Dear Mr. Potter,
        Your darling cousin is right!
  I am comming, and I'm comming for
  you and your friends.
              Beware....

"What are we going to do?"  Hermionesaid.  
"I don't know..." Harry replied.  For the rest of the night they sat there thinking.  They all went to bed early after homework.  Harry changed into his pajamas, took off his glasses, and jumped into bed.
     All of a sudden, it got cold.  He was outside!  But how did he get there?  He saw Emily, Ron, and Hermione tied up.  Then Lord Voldimort appered from out fo the forest.  
"Hello Harry, nice to see you again."  He walked over the Harry, and put his arm around him. "Harry here's the deal,  I'm gonna kill one of your friends, but you get to choose.  If you choose, then the other two go free, if you don't well....then they'll all die."  Harry's scar was burning and the pain was growing.  "So, who will it be?  Your flesh and blood, who I hope you'll pick.  Your sidekick, or your girlfirend?"  Hermione, Ron, and Emily were all lookingvery frightened, and they were struggling with the ropes.  "Oh, Harry, You haven't chosen, I guess I'll kill all of them then."  He raised his wand, "Crucio!"  the Curse had hit emily she started to scream and twitch.  
"STOP!!"  Harry screamed, and she screamed his name, but then she stopped.  She stopped screaming, she stopped twitiching, and she stopped moving all together.
"One down, two to go. Vashigo!"  At that point, thousands of spiders started crawling all over Ron's body, "Crucio!" Voldimort said.  Ron started twitching and screaming as more spiders were creawling on him as well.  Then he stopped too.  
"Ah, the Mudblood's next!!" Voldimort walked over to her and said the curse again. When she stopped as well, he moved to Harry, "You see, I'm so powerful!  Your turn Harry! CRUCIO!"  A rush of hot fire and freezing ice were rushing through his body.  The pain was unbearable, his scar was hurting more then ever then, "Good buy Mr. Potter.... AVARA KEDAVARA!"  A flash of green light, and a cold evil laugh proceeded.
       Harry woke up shaking and sweating all over.  His scar was buring more then ever.  He got up, and put on his glasses and opned the door.  He tripped over something and looked.

 :o  WOW!  What did he trip over.  Go on Em! Don't leave me here!  AAAAARRGGGH!  lol, please please more?

IT was Emily, she was sitting in front of his door with a mug of what seemed like coffee, and her wand out.  "OW!" she said, "Harry...is that you?" she whispered.
"Uh, ya, are you ok?"
"Ya, i'm fine you sort of kicked the back of my head though.." she stated.  "Come down to the common room.." harry said.  THey walked down the cold stone steps and into the dark common room.  Harry conjured a fire, and they sat down.  "Emily, what are you doing there?"  Harry asked.  "Harry, i don't want anything to happen to you, or Ron, but especially you." she said.  "So, your sitting outside my door?"  
"Well...ya, i staythere everynight with coffee that i made taste like cocoa, and my wand.  and if anyone comes, I'll be there."
"NOthing's gonna happen!  Sirius is in my room!  NOthing will happen!" he said standing up.  "Then why did you have another dream...a different one?" she asked.  Harry looked at her," How did you know?" he said slowly.  "i had the same one, only Voldimort said that he would be giving you the dream and some of that pain would be given to me too." she looked at him in consern, "I'm not taking chances!  Harry...you gotta cut!"  Look at your leg!" she said.
       Harry looked down he had the same 'v' cut as Emily did.  "How long have you had that dream, how many times?"
"Uh....twice, well...three tonight."
"Emily, look for another one on you"  She looked aroun and there!  One on her ancle!  "I've got one!" she showed him, "We need to see Dumbledore!" said a voice.  Emily and Harry jumped, it was Sirius who had Harry's invisibility cloak in his hand, he threw it to him. "Come one!" he said.  Harry told Emily about the cloak and they both got under.  Sirius turned into a dog again, and they started out the portrait hole.  They came to five teachers walking through the halls, then to the gargoyle in front of Dumbledore's office.  Sirius turned human again.  "Fireworks,"  the gargoyle jumped aside, letting them go through, Siruis knocked on the door.

      Harry felt someone shaking him, it was Ron.  "harry you ok?"he asked.  "What happened to her?  Is she ok?"  Hermione stated asking about last night.  "harry, that's really serious!"  Hermione said.  "She's been sitting out side our room this whole time?!" Ron said, "WE could have been making out....Just Kidding!"  he added glancing at the deadly look on Hermione's face.  That moment Emily woke up.  "Oh Harry, sorry i fell asleep.  MOrning guys."  Ron walked over and gaver a long kiss.  "What was that for?"

THE MATCH

"What did he say?" ron asked.  Harry sighed, "He said that he want's to keep it and snuffles ent somewhere but is comming back. and we have to stick together."  He looked at all of them.  "Look, no use in getting upset now!" Hermione said, "You guys have a game and you need to eat and worry about this later!"  they could tell that Hermione wasn't even following her own advise.  Then Oliver came in, walked over, kissed Meagan, and made his way toward Harry.  "Morning Harry! Now do you remember all the moves?  Are you Nervous?  There's no need to be nervous, it's only Slytheren and if we loose we're out of the runnings!" he said this all very fast and picked up Emily's orange juice and drank it in one gulp. "Oliver, calm down! We're fine!" Harry said. "Does he know he's not on the team any more?" emily whispered to Hermione.  Oliver turned to Ron," You're ready right? You know how they like to score, always on the left except for-"
"Oliver! We're fine! I know!" Ron said.  Oliver turned to Hermione and Emily, he was about to say something but..."We're not on the team!" Hermione stated.  "Right, ok I'll see you out there then...." He said this looking slightly paler at the thought of it.
         Harry and Ron made their way down to the pitch and into the locker room where they found everyone changing into their robes.  Oliver came into the front,"Everyone, gather round!"he said. "Now, your captain is going to say a few words.  but don't forget those moves I taught you and -" he stopped and noticed that everyone was looking at him in a 'we already know' look.  Harry walked in front, "Uh, i think that we allk now that nobody gives a better talk then Oliver, but i guess i'll give it my best... So uh... we need to just get out there and win.  We have to have accuracy and precision."  All harry could do was think about Moody, 'Constant Villigence' he always say.  "So everyone try their best and lets bring this to a win so that we're one step closer to the cup!"
         They made their way out on the pitch and as they did, three out of the four houses cheered.  Oliver got up into the stands and sat next to Meagan, Hermione, and Emily.  The slytherens made their way on to the feild and made their names known, thus reciving a huge roar from their house.  Madam Hooch stepped out on the feild.  "A clean game!" she kicked off with the quaffle in her hand, and threw it up, Lee Jordan announcing as usual.  "Gryffindor with the quaffle, Angelina's going...swerves past Slytheren Captain Thomas Matthews, and ....GOAL! THEN POINTS TO GRYFFINDOR!"  Harry was watching Oliver jump with excitment.  "Katie Bell with the quaffle, John Marks get it, Slytheren in possetion, shoots and SAVED!  That's the new Gryffindor Keeper Ron Weasley.  Brother to Fred and George Weasley, out beaters...who have tried to been denying it for years...sorry there mates."  Harry looked to Fred and George who heard them say something like, "All those years wasted!"  
"Slytheren in possetion, shoots....scores. That dirty little...."
"JORDAN!"
"Oh, sorry Prefessor McGonnagal won't happen again....Fred Weasley hits a Bludger to Irving! Ouch that one had to hurt!"  At that moment the bludger had hit the slytheren keepers leg probably breaking it.  "Gryffindor in possetion... and GOAL! By Katie Bell!  I always new she had it in her! What a player, what a girl...what a nice as-"
"JORDAN!"
Harry was circling the field and noticed that Malfoy was following him.  So  Harry dove from fifty feet, Malfoy following.  "What is he doing? He's gonna crash!" Hermione screamed.  She was only half right.  Right before the ground harry had pulled up leaving malfoy to smash into the field, Madam Hooch blew her whistle...all of this leaving Lee Jordan in Histerics. "WHAT A PLAY! HARRY POTTER HAS DONE THE WONSKI FREITE! The same move that was done by Victor Krum twice at the World Cup last year! UNBELIEVABLE!"
Malfoy got up, Modam Pomfrey had fixed a broken nose and arm and Malfoy shot a menicing glare up at Harry.  "And the game's back on! Come one you baby suck it up and play!"
"JORDAN!" she screamed.
"Sorry, sorry, Gryffindor in the lead and posstion as well. Oh, Alicia Spinnet stopped by that dirty keeper, Slytheren in possetion, Matthews with the quaffle, he shoots,AND BLOCKED AGAIN! take that you cheating flitlhy..."
"LAST TIME LEE!"
Harry looked around, there ... he saw it! The snitch was right under Malfoy.  He turned and streemed along the feild trying to get closer before Malfoy had noticed.  Harry swerved to miss a bludger, he was almost there.  He spun, missing the second bludger that was aimed toward him, outstreched his arm, malfoy saw it too.  He tried to hit Harry but he turned up side down on his broom having him miss.  He went into a sudden dive, Malfoy despretly trying to keep up, he reached, there was a sudden gasp from the crowd, they were all holding their breath, harry streched and clasped the little golden ball in his hand and pulled up just in time to miss the ground, his robes skimming the grass on the field.  "GRYFFINDOR WINS! HARRY POTTER, SEEKER AND NEW CAPTAIN FOR THE TEAM HAS CAUGHT THE SNITCH! AND MAY I SAY WHAT A FABULOUS AND FANTASTIC PLAY THAT WAS JUST - ZOOM- MAN! BARELY MISSING THE GROUND!  FINAL SCORE, GRYFFINDOR 170, SLYTHEREN10! AND WE ARE STILL IN THE RUNNING!"  The whole team got the ground, the stadium roared  and cheered.  The team ran over to harry jumping up and down.  Hermione and Emily made there way over to them after Harry and Ron had gotten changed.  They both were lost for words. "HEY! PARTY IN THE C.R. TONIGHT!" Fred announced.  As they entered  the whole place cheered, there were decorations and table full of sweets and butterbeer. "Compliments of the Mauraders..." Fred said in harry's ear..."Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs, gotta love 'em!" George said smiling.They noticed Neville and smirked as they made there way over to him. Suddenly Neville was seen burping bubbles and flying around the common Room.  Apperently Fred, George, Ryan and Lee had given him a taste of their new drink.  " FizzBang! Just six sickles! In new cola flavor!"  The party went on for what seemed like ages and would have gone on longer if Professor McGonnagal hadn't broken it up.

Of course doll, just have to realise and I found this out thatppl read them a lot more than we think, but I agree, I like osts.  Keep going girl.  ;)

CHAPTER 17
UNCONTIOUS

         As soon as Harry hit his bed, he was asleep.  He woke up having the same dream again, recieving another cut on his arm, and his scar leaving traces of it's once burning affect.  He opened the door, again to find Emily lying in front of it, then noticed something on the door.  There was a message burnt into the wood. I WILL COME! YOU WILL DIE HARRY POTTER!  Then it struck him, who ever left this message, had to have seen Emily.  He bent down and looked at her, she was bleeding from everypart of her body.  He rushed and woke up ROn and Hermione.  "Harry, go get Dumbledore...quick!" HErmione said shaking.  Harry tore from the common room and out too the hall, running as fast as he could to the head masters office not caring who or what came within his path.  He turned the corner that led to Dumbledore's office to find that he was already rushing very quickly toward the place where Harry had just come.  "Professor it's Emily she's hu-"
" I know, quickly...come!"  They ran through the halls  passing Filtch who was utterly shocked and into the common room, up the stairs to where Emily lay.  Dumbledore picked her up and looked at the message on the door, turned and went as quickly and carefully out of the Gryffindor tower with Harry, Ron and Hermione at his heals.  
    Once they had gotten there, Harry watched as Dumbledore placed her on the nearest hospital bed and Madam Pomfrey bustling over looking pale.  As she treated her, Harry couldn't take his eyes off of her. How come she didn't come and get me?  Why did she just stay there? he thought getting annoyed.  He say Ron standing as close as Madam Pomfrey would let him, and Hermione whimpering in the closest corner.  "What happened?" Professor Dumbledore said turning to him.  "Well, I had another dream and my scar was burning so I woke up, opened the door and there was the message on it, and she was just lying there...." he said wondereing why it was so hard to repeat it. "Why was she infront of your door Harry..." Dumbledore said catching Harry's eye who looked away. "I Know you know why." Harry sighed, there was no reason not to tell him.  "She told me the other night that she didn't want anything to happen to me...or Ron, so she stayed outside our door with her wand out incase anything came," he said softly, determined not to look at him however catching a glimpse of Emily.  She had deep cuts everywhere that were seeping blood and noticed that Madam Pomfrey was treating a black eye as well.  "I don't know how, or who did this, I'm guess Voldimort or his supporters.  If you like, you may stay here tonight...i must warn the Ministry, Siruis and a few others of what has happened here tonight.  Call me if anything happens..."  At this point he stared into Harry's eyes for a few moments and left.  Harry couldn't belive he was leaving...now of all times! He had so many questions in his head that he needed answered.  Like, how did he know that Emily was hurt before Harry had gotten him?  What about the other's in the dormatory?  And who where these 'other people' that Dumbledore just had to tell about what happened?  He didn't want other people to know what happend!  What was Dumbledore thinking?!! The Daily Prophet would have a field day, and the last thing that Harry wanted was stupid reporters comming in and causing more damamge to Ron, Hermione, and especially Emily. At the thought of all this, his temper rose.  "How could this Happen?" Hermione cried.  "I don't know!  Why does it look like i have all the answers?!" he said angrily. "She should have gotten me! She should have told somebody!" he said throwing him self down in a chair, his head in his hands.  "Harry, maybe she just didn't have time." Ron said looking at him slightly taken back by his outburst.
     Harry stormed out of the Hospital wing wanting to hurt Volidmort more then ever!  He had taken away everything that was good in his life and all the people that loved him. Harry couldn't even see Siruis because of Voldimort.  He had killed his parents, and destroyed every inch of his life that would have made him happy.  He wasn't about to let Voldimort do it again.  Emily was his last key to happiness, a family that loved him no matter what he looked like, or dressed like or that fact that he was a wizard.  They loved him because he was family....and he wasn't going to see them get hurt.  Harry would do anything to stop them from having more pain done to them.  He would bring so much pain to Voldimort the next time he saw him that all his rage and sufferening that he's had over the years would cause so much agonny that Voldimort would wish that he did die that night that he cursed Harry.

         Days went by and so did the trip to Hogsmade, and she was still unconsious.  Christmas was a few days away and Professor McGonagall passed around the papers to stay at Hogwarts.  Harry, Ron, and Hermione sighned up right away.  One day after Charms they went to check on Emily. Maybe she'll be awake today... i can feel it!  Harry thought hopefully, however when they arrived they found she still hadn't moved but there wasn't a scratch on her.  During lunch Harry pulled out his shedual.  "Oh, Great!  We have divination next!"  After lunch Harry and Ron started up their way to the seventh floor.  They climbed the silver ladder and entered the misty room.  It seemed they were one of the lasts ones there to join the class, (Harry had made it so the walk to her class took longer that day because it just wasted the amount of time that they actually had to be there) and once they sat down, everyone waited for Professor Trelawny to enter from her usual back room.  "Good Afternoon," she said comming out from behind a set of curtains. "She looses another screw in her head everyday that nutter!" Ron whispered to Harry who was sitting in a big chair.  He soon found him self not able to keep his eyes open as Professor Trelawny babbled on about Neville's misfortune.  
    He was back in the hospital wing, the curtains were drawn around a bed, and Harry reached to open them.  Lord Voldimort was covering Emily's mouth with one hand and the other was pointing a wand to her head.  "Ah, Potter, how nice of you to come!"  Emily was trying to say something, but couldn't.  "Your cousin wants to say something before she dies I see, well go ahead..."he said smiling, removing his hand away from her face.  "Harry! I love you, it's a trap don't ever come back here again!  He's waiting Harry! don't come! Please just stay away!" she said crying.
"Emily I'm not gonna leave you!"
"Harry, Run! GO NOW!"  At that moment Voldimort binded her up and advanced on Harry.  He said a number of curses on Emily and Harry saw her scream and twitch with pain.  "YOU BETTER RUN BOY!"
    Harry felt someone shaking him.  He was back in the classroom and on the floor.  "Potter! What happened?  You were screaming and twitching! What did you see?" Professor Trelawney's eyes were as big as ever and full of excitement.
"I need to go , Ron has to come too..." He said grabbing Ron and rubbing his forehead, his scar was prickling.  He kicked the trap door open and they climbed down the ladder. "Harry what happened?" Ron said.  Harry sighed and explained his dream quickly.  "Do you think that i could be true?"  Ron asked looking worried.  "I dunno, Maybe, we can't just stand here and wait to hear about it tho!"  At this they both made their way down to the Hospital Wing, they stopped out side the door.  "Let's get our wands out, just in case," Ron said.  They got their wands out and walked in.  Just like in his dream, the curtains were drawn around her bed.  They slowly walked forward, and pulled them back.  Voldimort wan't there, and Emily was sleeping.  Harry and Ron sat down half shaking from relief.  "Thank God for that!" Ron sighed and smiled at Harry.   "Harry? ROn?" Emily was waking up.  "Ya, Em, we're here," Harry said and they walked over to her.  She opened her eyes all the way ans sat up slowly.  "Where is he? Where am I?" she said looking around.  "It's ok, he's not anywhere, and you in the Hospital Wing," Ron said smiling.  "The Hospital Wing?! Oh no! You guys have to leave-"
"But we just got here Em!" Harry said looking at her in shock.  "Harry leave! It's a trap...GO NOW!" She said starting to throw things at them.  Harry and Ron ran out of the room and closed the door.  They heard a cold voice from inside, "You stupid Girl! " Then a slap.  "Why are you doing this? Go away! Please don't hurt them! Please!" Emily said crying.  "Come on Harry we have to go!" Ron said pulling him.  "NO! We have to help her!" Ron still wasn't listening and he was pulling Harry in the direction of Dumbledore's Office.  "Professor Dumbledore! Voldimort Quick!" Harry said panting...but he just sat at his table and looked at him smiling...."Harry...Harry is that you?"  Harry woke up with a start, he was in the Hospital Wing again.  "What happened?" He said getting up from a chair.  "We were waiting for her to wake up and you fell asleep," Ron said.  Harry looked at Emily, she was up and he saw no traces of a slap or any abusement anywhere.
    "Hi Harry," She said weakly.  "Em, are you ok?"
"Ya, i'm alittle sore though. You ok?  You didn't get hurt did you?"  He couldn't help but smiling, she was alright, "I'm fine," he said kissing her on the cheek. "Em, what happened that night?" He looked at her seriously.  She looked at her hands and sighed, "I supposed that I'd have to tell you some time right?" she said looking up.

hey thanks for the replies....here's more and last bit of chapter 17!!

         "Ok, I was  sitting out side your door, when about eight hooded figures came up the stairs.  The one in front spoke, and his voice was really cold and harsh." she said.   "What did he say?" Ron asked.  "He asked me why I was sitting there, I told him to go away, but they didn't.  He asked me if I was Emily and I replied yes.  HE said that he was going to kill me and you, Harry.  I got out my wand and disarmed about two  of them, then blasted back another trying to call you Harry, but I-I couldn't.  I was about to do another spell when they did the Cruciatus Curse on me.  The pain was unbelieveable, I couldn't see, couldn't breath.  Then they took a knife, and cut me, then they said something else but I couldn't make it out and then I blacked out."  Silent tears were streaming down her face.  Harry couldn't believe what he was hearing.  Professor Dumbledore and Hermione were standing in the doorway, Hermione was crying too.  Emily looked at Dumbledore, he walked over to her bed.  "Emily, I'm sorry they did that, but, we have Ministy officials guarding every where now.  When you get out of the Hospital Wing, stay close to these three."  She nodded. "I must be off, just got a reply form Sirius, He's comming back."  Dumbledore turned to Harry and gave him a look and stared into his eyes and left. Emily turned to Hermione who walked over to her bed. "What day is it?" she said suddenly.  "Uh, the Twenty-First."
"Oh no! i didn't get you guys anything! and Christmas is only four days away!"
Harry smiled,"It's fine Em...under these circumstances i doubt anyone will care about presents."  She smiled, and looked over to the table next to her bed.  There were all types of sweets, she even saw a few cards.  She picked one up, it was From Fred and George.  There was a bright, beautiful flower on the cover and she smelt it and the flower squirted out ink and she couldn't help but laugh.  It was the first time she'd done so in a long time Harry thought and laughed too.  Madam Pomfrey came in, "Ah! You're up, you must leave, she needs her rest!" She said bustling them out the door, they walked down the hall to dinner.
