I have no idea what a hippogriff is, is it related to a heffalump by any chance?

My favorite is a unicorn.  They are so graceful, and so pure and pretty.  That's why Monica (from my fan-fic) can turn into a unicorn.  Unicorns are the sweetest creatures you could ever meet!  And, best of all, they don't trust men!  LOL!!!  ;D

A hippogriff is half eagle, half horse.  In the third book, Harry befriends one named Buckbeak.  A heffalump is from Winnie-the-Pooh, and means elephant!

lol yeah i know what a heffalump is, i have spent a couple of years reading winnie the pooh stories to my baby cousin, she cant get enough, i must admit i get a little tired of reading the same things over and over again to her.

Well thanks for clearing that up for me, i feel so much more informed, i always throught half eagle/ half horse was a griffin?
