Ginny sat in class, then glanced up at the teacher. She already knew this, so why was she here? She stood, smiled at the teacher and walked out. She went down to the forest, where she spent alot of her time. She knew Moon was busy, so she called Akron to her. She went to a clearing to wait for him.
* pig walked up tho her* " hi , hav'nt you got class's ginny" she said looking at her smilling
Tika slunk over in wolf form. Once behind pig she let out a low growl. Then, she walked lazily over to Ginny and layed at her feet. 'I don't want to go to class. Me stay with you.' But, she continued to growl at pig when she looked at her, baring her pearly white fangs.
"Of course I have class. Tika, that's enough." Ginny didn't look at either of them as she heard a twig snap and a giant spider came out.
Tika stopped. Well, she was too scarred to go on. Instead of laying at Ginny's feet she formed. 'What is that....thing?'
Ginny ignored Tika's question and stood, walking to the spider. She pat one of it's legs and smiled.
"Hello Akron." The spider clicked his pincers together and made a sort of bow.
Akron.: *click* Hello Ginny.*click*
'Atleast he won't kill me.' Tika thought before forming back into her wolf form and walking up behind Ginny.
Ginny talked with the spider for a moment before he excused himself, and headed back into the forest. Ginny sighed and decided to go to the wolves caves.
'Can I follow you Ginny? Pretty please with sugar on top?' Tika thought, still inwolf form.
~Sure, I guess.~ Ginny trudged past the barrier, into the thickest of the woods and suddenly burst upon a semi-circle of caves, set into a hill. Outside of the caves wolf pups rolled around while their parents watched.
Tika stayed in wolf form as she followed Ginny. The place was full of wolves. The instincs that came with animagi told her she belonged with them. She ignored it as a side effect. Tika stayed now at Ginny's side. Brushing often against her legs.
Ginny sat down by one of the cave openings, and sevral pups ran up to her. She smiled at them and talked to them, using the names their parents gave them. A mother wolf came up and layed on one side of her, away from Tika.
Happilly Tika lay next to Ginny. It was good here. This was a good place. But she felt somebody watching her. Somebody who made her nervous.
Ginny lay a hand on one of the pups. It licked her hand then jumped off her lap, landing on Tika.
Tika almost jumped, but didn't. She watched the pup from the corner of her eye and wolf-smiled. She saw no need to bite.
Ginny stood and ran at one of the male wolves. She tackled it, wrestaling pysichly.
Once the cub had moved on Tika stood. The other wolves excepted Ginny. Tika was an outcast here. Moving easily around the pups, Tika started making her way out.
A wolf jumped in front of her, snapping his teeth playfully. He happened to be Moonlights son, so he was the best at fighting. The rest stopped and watched what Tika would do.
Tika reered back her head. Looking him up and down she knew he was being at lest a bit playful. With a wolf-grin she growled and snapped at his ear. Perpousfully missing it by less then a centimeter.
he howled then tackled her rolling around and snapping at her, trying to pin her.
Tika fought back, barking in his face. Her wolf form was meant for slyness, his for fighting. She was soon pinned, and growling like a freaking phsyco.
He grinned in the wolf like way then backed up. He jumped around, in a dancing way on his back feet, like he was bragging. Ginny laughed.
"looks like he likes you Tika."
Tika jumped up and sat down. She looked at the wolf and grinned. He was doing avictory dance.
Apon hearing Ginny's thought, she barked. 'Hahahahahahahaha! Very funny. Just as long as I leave here alive I'm okay.'
She looked back at him and barked. Half happilly but mostly to say 'oh, get off youself!!'
~You'll be fine. If he likes you, you'll be liked by everyone.~
The wolf barked back.
'But I won!'
'Cool.'
Tika ran forward in her lightning quick way. It was faster than most wolves. Like I said, slyness. She snapped playfully at his face. But tried her hardest to pin him. The serprise had worked. But was it good enough?
He jumped up then did a backflip away from her.
Tika let out a long whine. 'Come on!!' She chased him and barked out 'What's you name anyways?' Still trying to catch him.
'Beau (pronounced Bo). And Yours?' His tounge lolled out as he ran away from her then ending up behind her.
Tika stared around before realizing 'Beau was beind her. She barked. 'It's Tika. The same Tika that shall kick yur butt before she leaves.'
'You wish!' He ran and jumped over her, then to her right, then left, right, left, front, behind, making her dizzy.
Tika tried to keep up with his movements. She ended up tripping herself. She lay there for a moment before she covered her head with her paws. 'Youbeatme.' She whined out, quickly. Continuing to whine she moved one paw and stared at him with one eye.
He stopped jumping, his breath raspy. Ginny stood from her spot and came over patting his head.
"Okay, Beau." She spoke outloud to him. He barked back,
'Okay what? What I do?'
Tika looked up at Ginny. 'He beat me.' She thought in awe.
"Of course. His father taught him."
'Yup, Dad's the best on the whole Untouchables squad.'
Tika stood up. 'Great. I was up against the son of an untouchable.' She came over to Beau. 'You won. Is there something I have to do now?' She barked out, jealous he was not here. But still having good time at this place.
He seemed to thing for a moment. Then he barked,
'You could always clean out my family's cave... I'm joking.' He rolled on the ground in a laughing way.
Tika made as if to bite him. But lost ballance and licked him instead. 'I'm losing my touch.' She thought to herself.
Ginny smiled. Beau jumped up and howled.
Tika just stared at them both. She didn't get it.
Ginny shook her head and rubbed her eyes. Beau stopped howling and looked at her concered.
"I'm gonna go and get in bed. You know the way back, Tika. Have fun guys." Even though it was only mid-afternoon Ginny was once again exhausted. She walked away. Beau sat on his haunchs, watching her.
'Dad's worried about her.' He whined to Tika.
'Why? Has she been acting strangely?' Tika came over and lay beside him.
'Not really. Normally she's full of energy, but my dad says she can't sleep because of nightmares. She says things to him like, "It's coming." and "I see it clearer and clearer every day." He won't tell me what though.'
Tika whined loudly. 'A troubled soul. That's what my mother would say. But I don't know. She seems as if she is soul that has been placed on a journey. From this journey the rest of us can learn many things.' She edged closer to him. 'Or the chosen one may never return. Yes, this is how I see things.'
He lay beside her, confused. 'Huh?'
'I mean...Ginny is meant to do something powerful. She will either be able to save us, or at least help us. Or, the power and weight of it all could overpower her.' She put her head on his neck. 'Do you understand?'
'Sort of. I-' He stoped talking as an older wolf that looked just like him came into view. 'Dad!' Moonlight glanced up at his son and Tika.
Moonlight: 'Beau, Tika. How are you two?'
Tika nodded her head respectfully to Moonlight. 'I am well. What about yourself?'
Moon:'Old.' He laughed.
Beau:'Dad, Tika and I were just talking about how Ginny's been so tierd lately.'
Moon: He sends his son a sharp look. 'Beau, you know better than to ask me. I will not tell you what she speaks of.'
Tika was itching with questions. 'NO!! It is Ginny's business. Stay out of it. She would want you to.' Walking towards Beau, she said to him. 'Would you like me to leave you now?'
Moon: He makes a noise. 'Good bye Mrs. Whisper.' He walked off toward one of the caves.
Beau: He stands. 'Uh...bye.'
Tika smiled, almost apologetically, at Beau and walked towards the exit. Turning around one last time she felt a sense of peace. This was a good place, she would come here more often. 'Remind me to thank Ginny.'
Beau barked. 'No worries, I know I'll see her in the morning!'
Tika smiled and walked out of the haven. 'Hmmmmmmm.....which way do I go?'
At the castley Ginny heard this thought of Tika's. She was busy, so she sent one of the best navigaters.
A brillinat white unicorn jumped out of the brush and stood in front of Tika.
'You are Tika.' It wasn't a question, more like a demand that she had better be.
Tika transformed into hman form. 'Um, yes. Who are you?' She had never seen a unicorn up close before. She felt like a little kid in Honeydukes.
The unicorn gave Tika a wierd look.
'I am Tika as well, though not the same as you.'
Tika smiled. 'Ginny has mentioned you before, I think. Is that why you're here? Did she send you? Is something wrong?' Panic spread like wildfire in Tika.
'No. She sent me because you are lost and need a guide back.'
'Oh. That's good.' Tika walked forward and waited for uh....Tika, to lead her.
She knelt down.
'Get on my back. It will be much faster.'
Tika climbed uneasily onto her back. 'Okay.'
The unicorn strightaned and began running. Not at full speed, but fast enough to make Tika's eyes water. She stoped at the edge of the forest and bent down again.
'There.'
'Uh, thanks.' Tika descended from the unicorns back and made her way up to the castle.
