Aleria sat on the edge of the lake. She was saving her energy for tonight when she would have to strain her will to not kill anyone, which, believe it or not, wore her down.
Laying on her back she looked up at the sky.
"You know, you should have taken a potion." Ginny's voice came from the middle of the lake, where she sat upon the still water.
"Don't need no stinkin' potion."Aleria sat up."Oh yeah,I heard you were closing down the forest. Well can I go in there before I turn to my wolf form. It's really hard to keep a straight mind while I'm around people."
"Yes, Lycans are allowed in on a full moon."
"That's cool."Aleria laid back down.
"You should still take a potion."
"I will later...."
"Later will be too late." Ginny said, before settling more comfertingly on the water.
Aleria sat up and dug through her bag. She picked out a blue bottle and drunk its contents."Done."
"Good. Now you can control at least half your brain."
"Thats always a plus to being a werewolf.I get to think about killing someone."
Ginny smiled.
"So can you see the threastles?" ( I know thats not spelled right, I'm just too lazy to go get my book.)
"Yep."Aleria started playing with the grass.
Ginny smiled.
"Good. As can many. Especially the few of whom helped Kiara out a few times."
Aleria laughed,"I guess this Kiara is a powerful person,no?"
Ginny smiled.
"Kiara is very powerful. She is the daughter of Voldem0rt, a sorcoress, and has relations with the devil and god themselves. She is powerful, and is one of the few people I can respect. When she was in trouble, myself, Max, Harry, Lavender, and Ron would help her. Often, we had to kill things. She killed the most though." Ginnys soft smile remained as she spoke of this.
"Hmmm...cool. I used to be the most powerful at my other school. Guess I got pushed down the rung."
"Yes, alot." Ginny laughed.
Aleria laughed,"That's cool. I hate having power."
Ginny smiled.
"Your the first I've met. I hate it too."
"I'm surprised I'm the first. I thought that a lot of people hate power."
"Ha. Most people I know think power is the key."
"Key to what?"
"To everything. They believe if they have power, they'll have anything they need. They're wrong of course. I have power, and look what it does to me." Ginny smiled. Normaly she was pretty, but lately she had dark circles under her eyes, her hair lost it sheen and hung limply, she looked unhealthy.
"Hmmm...Yeah. Power is what made me into a werewolf."She pulled out a book. It was huge with black leather covering it. The pages were old and frayed. An emblem held it closed. Aleria held her hand over the emblem and it snapped open."This is the Book of Darkness. It holds the knowledge of Everything. I had started to read about werewolves and thought I could take one. I killed it but it left me with a scar...and a curse."
Aleria pulled back the sleeve on her shirt where a bite mark lay.
Ginny didn't make a face or anything. She sat still.
"Remus Lupin dosn't have a scar. Your the first I've seen who does."
"I know,it's weird. I asked other Lycans and looked it up. I'm not suppose to have a scar so I don't know why I do."
Ginny thought for a moment.
"Oh well, scars can help. Harry's alrets him when is father is near. I've heard Dumbledore claim to have one in the shape of the Londan Underground."
Aleria laughed,"I heard that one too."She thumped her scar,"Why can't you atleast be a map of Salem?Sheesh."
Ginny laughed.
She put on a mock angry face,"Oh,you think it's funny. But do you know how many muggle 'gypsies' have told me I was going to die? It's enough to drive anyone up a wall."Aleria laughed.
Ginny smirked.
"Now how many muggles who believe they can see the futur have tried to tell me how I'm going to die? They were wrong." She grinned.
"Hmmm...that's why I avoid muggle psychics."
Ginny laughed.
"Thats when I began avoiding them."
"Hmmm..."Aleria saw the sun begin to go down."I best go...Lots of changing to do."She got up and walked to the forest.
