hmmmmmm?
is lupin pronounced like
"lu" as is "rupert" (same 'u' sound)
or
"lup" as in "up" (sounds)

sirius - sir-ee-us
hermione - her-my-o-nee (blend in so it sort of sounds like her-my-nee)
cedric - sedr-ik
fleur - fl - er
karkaroff - car-car-off (duh kinds too easy!!)

it's lu-pin, like rupert,
sirius, like the store sears, so, sear-us
hermione- her- my- o- knee
fleur- floor
and that's all i know. but i know that sirius is right.

This is how I pronounced the names

Lupin: loo-pin

Sirius: serious (but the star is sigh-russ)

Fluer: Flu-air

Hermione: Hero-mine (I read it wrong, okay?? lol)

Filch: Always thought it was 'Flitch'. lol

Dementor: Dement-ore

Dumbledore: Dum-bleh-door

Draco: Dr-ah-co

Hagrid: Hag-rid

Karkaroff: Cack-ar-off

I think that's it... if I think of more, I'll post it.. :)

Lupin - Loop-in

Sirius - Serious

Hermione - Her-my-own-ie

(LOL! I used to pronounce Filch, Flitch, too!!! Tell my mom said it was 'Filch'...)

Draco - Drah-co (what's up with this Drayco stuff?! ^^; )

Dumbledor- Dumble-door

Karkaroff - Car-car-off

Pettigrew - Pet-a-grew

And I used to pronounce Slytherin - Sly-ther-in....

for the 1st time, before the movie, this is how I pronounced 'em:

Lupin- Loo-pin

Sirius- Sigh-ree-us

Hermione- Her-mwoine

Draco- Dray-co

Dumbledore- Dum-ble-more (I read it wrong)

Karkaroff- Ka-ka-roff

Pettigrew- Pet-eh-gru

Hagrid- Haj-rid

Filtch- Filtch (lol)

Fleur- Floor

Cedric- See-dric

Dementor- dement-ore

lol!  Fllllluuuueeeeaaaaahhhh.....  heehee  I actually said her name 'Fleh-oore'... ^_^  It sounds like Floor if you say it out loud and fast.  
I keep the pronounciations the same 'coz I like my ways better than the movies. :)

Though you are right on the proper pronounceation of Cedric, I still pronounce it seed-rick. ^^;

It's not pronounced Shay-mus, it's See-muss.

I'm curious to how you guys pronouned Beaxbatons.  I pronounced it 'bee-ooks-bay-tuns'.

It's spelt "Sean" if you're Irish but "Shawn" if you're... not lol. Shay-mus?? That's really odd. I always called him See-mus.

oh, and sum1 said they said "ka-ka-rof"
not to make fun of them or nething but it's like:
a childish way of saying sh!+ (ca-ca) with "rof" on the end.
