how the heck did hagrid escape the forest with a giant dead spider on his back
It was in book two.
Hagrid got this spider (Aragog) as an egg and nursed it.
This spider was the reason, Hagrid got expelled. So Hagrid was some sort of father for this animal.
I think Hagrids the only human beeing that those spiders in the forrest wont attack.
Remember, they tried to eat Ron and Harry?
i mean in book 6
>:( >:( >:( >:(
Indeed, though, uNoPoh it was stated that Hagrid can no longer go and visit the spiders in book 6. Jon makes a valid point here.
And even worse: What would people think of when they see Hagrid taking a huge spider outta the forest? (They give me the creeps ;D)
also hagrid said in book six that he rilived the only reason the spiders didn't attack him was because of Aragon.

lol.. you mean Aragog. ;D
Hagrid's pretty strong I don't think he'd have that much of a problem carrying Aragog out of the forest.. and it's possible that he might have used a cart or something... :-\
Also Hagird's known to have 'friends' in the forest in book 5 didn't he show the 5th year students the Thestrals(sp?)? So if people saw him they'd probabley think it's just a creature he brought from the forest for his class or something..

Um...this isn't true. The reason why Hagrid was expelled was because Tom Riddle (Voldemort) as a perfect accused Hagrid of opening the Chamber of Secrets. Aragog was just an accused monster, with everyone thinking that was the monster, instead of the Basilisk, which killed, thats right! Moaning Murtyle in the 3rd floor girl's bathroom... In Book 6, Hagrid specifically said that after Aragog died, the children lost their concience coz Aragog was their "leader" . Hagrid also said that the young spiders would have eaten Aragog if Hagrid hadn't come. So, this comment I quoted is wrong, no offence...
Does anyone think that J.K. Rowling will make HP books on Harry's life AFTER leaving Hogwarts? I think so...
she alreay said that book 7 is the end of Harry. But anyways even thought we all know that it was Tom Riddle and not Aragog who got Hagrid expelled that is not the point. The point is that everyone thought that Hagrid had let Aragog attack people so therefor in the end as much as it kills me to say it Hagrid is the reson he got expelled.

I think I didn't got the point. I thought you were wondering about the spider itself.
I don't see the difficulty how Hagrid can transport Aragog out of the woods.
By the way, I know that Tom Riddle accoused Hagrid, so he is the main reason, he got expelled.
nevermind clearly i cant get it through to you
Hagrid still has his wand, even though it is snapped in half. He could have used magic to get the spider out of the forest.
maybe
yea maybe
