it took me 6 days ;D
I was in Alabama when I started reading it. :) So I took my time in between traveling to read some. But the fist part was a little boring to me; my Mom had to say several times to read more of it! ^^;; Which I find shocking now... :o
It took me a little longer than a year. I started it and got to the 4th chapter and I got bored... so I put it down for a year, then picked it up again 'coz I was bored and finished it a month later. :)
:) I had it for almost 2 weeks before i started reading it, but i started after dinner one night and finished a little before dawn.
If only the required books were this good...
It took me like 3 weeks because what I would do was... during summer vaca, I would start reading at about 8:00pm and not stop until about 1:30am lol so that's the only time I read. Plus, I'm a slow reader lol. I know someone who read it in 2 days... amazing...
:o 2 days? :o
I don't like finishing books quickly. I like bringing them out.. plus, then I won't have anything to read if I read 'em fast!
Yes! I love to pace my books! :) I read some, and leave it (even if it's a good part) and pick it up later! :D Makes you love it even more! ^___^
And besides, my brain gets clogged up if I read too much at one time. @.@;
Yes I agree Gengi! or should i say... jen-g lol
it took me like, four months to read. i read slowly so i can take in every little bit, and enjoy every litte slice. i love to read!! i hated reading untill i read the hp books. now i love it!^=^
Ah, the amazingness of HP! ^__^
lol* yep, i like to take in every detail.
I like to absorb it... like a sponge! Ok... I know that was corny... don't laugh at me! hehe ;)
Lol! :D
Spongbob! ;D
it took me a week and about 2 days. i agree the first part was boring. i am a book worm though...
;D
I'm reading it now, I started a week ago, now I'm taking my time, I was laughing my head off at the yule ball part,Ron cares so much about Hermione it's oboius.
who's the first one to protcet hermione?
Ron!
I'M TELLIN YA...IT'S HARRY AND HERMIONE! SHE KISSES AND HUGES HIM ALL THE TIME~!
Well.....who knows! ;D
Nah.
It will be H/G...there is no avoiding that.
And R/Hr - they are so opposite, they're perfect! :D And there are signs of them starting to like eachother more than just friends littered everywhere in Book 4!!! ;D Oo laalaa! :-*
sry....but i have to agree with emily.....there is no way that harry and ginny will be together...and no way that hermione and ron will be togehter....and i think that fred and angelina will be togther too!
Then ur in fer a big dissapointment, Jordan. lol
SS/HG ALL THE WAY DUUUUDE!!! heeheehaahaa
I WILL NOT BE WITH HERMIONE j/k!but siriusly......if we can be....lol.....i don't think ron is gonna be wit hermione....
Hermione and Ron - definitely
Harry and Ginny - definitely
Harry and Hermione - probably not
OMG! I love you Amy!!! *anime tear stream*
H/G! & R/H!!! FOREVER!!!!!!
*hugs Amy* Yay fer you!! ^______^
aw thanks u guys! *hugs Shui and Gengi* I love you guys too! You're like family to me!
heehee ;D
Wow! Warm fuzzies! >^___^<
That was the name of a room at my preschool. They were the warm fuzzies, the rainforest room, sunshine alley, and the rainbow room. lol.
Lol!! Cool! But the scary thing is... you remember? o.o
it took me less than 24 hours, i got it aroung 2 pm and read the first chapter in the car. then i had to go to a wedding so the next day i read it all in one go! then i read it over...and over....and over again!
haha cool!
Yes Shui, I have a rather good memory. Seeing as how I can recite the HPM I, don't make fun of me! WAHH!
It took me two days. I love Harry Potter books. I read the other ones in less than half a day. I love reading. The fourth book was a little too long.
ateenangel
ur kidding, lol.
Gengi:Harr and Hermione are like Bro and sis. thats why she can hug him and kiss him on the cheek. its akword with Ron. I took a week to read it. and then I read it a second time a few days later, a more detailed reading
;)it takes me about 48 hours..well I was in a long holiday so.. i xcan read it nonstop!
:D cool
sheesh! lol
But butt would hurt if I was sitting fer that long! :P ;)
It took me a little less than three days to read the first one: About four to read the second one: One day to read the third one (thats my favorite) and exactly seven days to read the fourth one. I don't like to read books fast either, but when you have a book like this you just get into it so much. Im now reading the Hp books for the eight time in a year (which is probably very little compared to you lot) Lol! Have a great day.
I live in the states but I was born in england so my brother has the chamber of secrets books with the original cover *shrugs* unfortunatley, thats the only one we have because when my dad bought it for him ages ago, he didn't know it was a series *lol*. Anyway though, did you know that in England the HP series came out five years before it did anywhere else? :o
:o Really? Well, I guess it'd make sense.

I know DS, but I never said Harry and Hermione, I said go Ron and Hermione. ^^ H/Hr... the chemisty is just not there. *Shakes her head*
Hmm! Like, 5 years before US go it? I thought the British version came out 1997?... o.O;[/color]
Hmm... all I know is that the version fer us 'yanks' was 1997.. wait, no.. that was the copy right date, so.. that isn't true then.
We got ours in 1998. :)
*rolls eyes* :) Same diff, Gengi. lol
;D
1997 8Proudness*, 'Cause I was born in Scotland, and I got it.
Amercians covers are different, but the Brittish and Canadians are the same.

I prefer the American Version. It has more to it.. and it better drawn (details!! :o).. and.. tells more about the story. ^_^
Aaaaah! Pastels!! ;D Yuh, every cover page has drawings of things that apear in the book, and they all only make sense to you when you've read it! :^D It's fun! You go, "Oh! That's that and that's suppost to be be that!". ^_^
Heh. I think you used one too many 'that's! :D
Lol! ;D
Thinks to herself...WEIRDOS!
*stands proud*

er..office? :-\
y not fawkes? ???
ya, hun, what's wrong with that? I read a lot of book 5 at work. heehee, I had a lot of time there.
nothing.....nothing...
I read book five in a matter of about six hours, taking in the main ideas, but not all the details-[straight, no interruptions]
Then I re-read it VERY slowly and took in as much as I could.
Then I re-read it again and again and again then and every time, seemingly took in somethng new every time.
I dunno. lol. It's a process. :P
:-* Lav
I finished it in half a day. :P
Nah, I am a sprint reader and when I read ten words I usually only take in six or seven. I cut out the unnessacary stuff, see? BTW, I finished OOTP in 4 hours. (I was just too eager) ;D
lol, I get what ya mean. :P
:-* Lav
But don't think too far, I simply meant that I loved reading. ;D
I love reading as well. I prefer it over talking on the phone. I drive my friends crazy, for I'm always typing something, or reading, and telling them to leave me be. They don't of course, but I guess my friends were never UN-persistant.
You love reading and writing too? Same here. ;D
But of course, Zero. A lot of myfe is taken up by reading or writing, and if not that, I'm on the snow or in the water, or heavens knows where else.. (Or at school :P)
Look at me, talking on and on about me. Sorry about that. So you're interested in writing, eh? Do you prefer certain kinds of writing, or are you just open to all?..
Oh, well. It's good to know a little about people...
Well, I seriously prefer writing fiction. It's like... there's no restriction, you can go all out and write anything you like. That's seriously much better than haveing to write non-fiction, since in non-fiction, you're restricted to the truth.
Yes, very true.
A while ago I was writing a non-fiction story--you're right, it is a WHOLE lot more difficult. I think for me it is pretty much the same, bacause of the restrictions. I have a bit of trouble writing fictions because even with knowing the truth, I drift off into writing about some of my characters. I don't know, I like to day-dream...
I like reading fictional stories as well, though there are quite a few non-fictions I have read and liked. Probably for the same reasons, and it is just easier to imagine myself in the characters' positions.
The very confused,
Lav.
i think it took me about two weeks i read it when ever i had time like before going a bed or on the bus or just when i was bord lol
Hey, Pig. If I were you, I would also add "In the loo" ;D
Yeah, same here! I like day-dreaming, and I usually drift over to my games! That's my main source of inspiration.
Lol, Zero. Very cool. ;)
Lav.
lol 0612 naa never read on the loo and i dont plan 2 ever ;D
LOL. That's sad. I remember my mom telling me to make good use of my time. :P ;D

I think most of the ppl here like writing... and reading of course! I love both! ;D
it took me 4 days! ::)
The fourth book took me two days. The fith however took me less than 24 hours.
all of the books took me awhile the first time, cause it was during school, and i had tons of homework, so, less than a month. i am a bookworm, but school is time-consuming. :P
