~~Lost one always is,
For true ending is hard to find.
What I would not give,
For a security that could be mine.
Confusion and wonder,
Taking one asunder,
Misleadings and misjudgments,
From a gentle hue to a torrent.
Becoming lost,
Becoming found,
But with the cost,
It hurts to be proud.
I hurt and I bleed,
What I want is never what I need,
When I breath it is my last,
Life is escaping far too fast.
My care is run thin,
Taken far too soon,
Dreaming is my only whim,
But to awakening always, I am doomed.~~
- Sang out Lavender's mental voice.
The voice, though gentle and quiet and seemingly sensitive, was bold and powerful and zealous, with a soft purr to the tones. Perhaps the purr, was the effect of the configuration of the feminine beauty of whom the voice belonged to; the little onyx colored, furry kitten seated upon her hindquarters, at the feet of a great sized, though wobbly, worn table. Head tilted to the side, the kitten's quaint little eyes squinted and peered at the passer-buyers from beneath the curtain of white sheet, many shades of striking greens and hints of coal.
She mewed softly, the tone reflective to the purity of the voice that had sung to herself, not by word of mouth, but by constricted thought. She kneaded her minute paws onto the stone ground near the feet of a few, and seemed to smile, her tail flopping about, her nose wrinkling at the grungy smell of the slippery floor.
The kitten turned her head in direction of a male, and a mew-ish hiss came about her little chest in soft regard; a rough spark in the haunted eyes. She scuttled back farther beneath the tablecloth, until the sheet lay layered at her furry ears, concealing the rest of her little body, her bottom against the foot of the table leg, her tail coiling nervously about it. The white speckled nose{the little area of which alone, beside her eyes, held color other than black} waggling in distaste.
Lavender grew tired of the itchy tablecloth and scampered out from it, prancing about the feet of many a travelers. It was not until her front baby paw was stepped upon, that she grew distasteful of that, and made her way back to the table, limping slightly, her tail limp and no longer perky.
Lavy walked in and saw the kitten walking back to the table. "What the...." she walked over to the kitten.
Lavender, thinking herself about to be tromped on again, sprung up and bounced in a 180 degree angle, facing her 'attacker', ears utterly flat, tail a stiff spike, her nose pouty. It was a moment before there was recognition there, and all was relaxed about her, save the spunkiness in her movements.
She 'mrrowwed' and slumped her front paws far foreword, stretching, her tail beginning a soft wag.
"Well, hello Lavender." Lavy said smiling.
Ginny came in and looked around. She saw Lavy and walked over.
"I thought I sensed Lavan-" She spotted the kitten and smiled.
"Oh, there you are."
There was a sharp 'mrow' that emerged from the little black furball's throat, as she trotted to the two and scratched at their shoe-laces, rolling to her back and flipping around, the end of a string in her small, though sharp teeth. She tugged playfully, undoing the bow of Ginny's shoe.
She grew tired quickly though, oddly, and curled up between their shoes, her chin set upon Ginny's shoe, the string still locked about in her canines. She purred and draped a small, furry arm across the laces, silent in weary thoughts.
Ginny laughed and pulled her foot up slowly, dragging Lavander along with it. She picked Lavander up and pet her head.
"Now I'm gonna trip thanks to you!" She said, smiling.
Lavy also laught leand over and tied her shoes again.
The green eyed kitten wagged her tail a little more furiously, her entire backside swinging with it. She mewed quietly, grinning in that cattish way. She swatted at a loose strand of Ginny's hair for a moment, then fell limp in Ginny's hands, her baby-like mouth widening in a great, long yawn..
"Your just to cute."
"She's funny." Ginny said, now holding Lavander.
The black furball wrinkled her nose in a mock-snooty way, and leaped from Ginn'ys arms, walking away, her tail pointed and perky, her wide waddling steps arrogant and cheeky.
She turned her head and pulled her whiskered lips up in a ferocious grin, with a short 'Mrow', continuing in her steps. After a look of utter silliness, she turned and was about to continue on, when the side of the boot of a male passed by her, swatting her nose, and whipping her around, sending her to plop to her backside.
He'd kicked her!
Lavender mewed and scampered, galloped, more like, to hide behind the shoes of Ginny's feet, her head just barely peeking out from behind them, her paw dashing across her nose once or twice, her ears flat and grumpy - kittenish, skitterish.
"Oh, poor thing." Lavy said picking up the kitten.
"Who is that?" asked Goblet, accompanying Lavy.
(g2g)
(ok night)
"Lavender."
Lavender ran a paw over her nose once more, and bounded up from Lavy's hands to her shoulder, leaping to Goblet's shoulder. Claws in, of course. She tipped her head a bit and sort-of-grinned at him, nearly sideways, then pouncing to stand upon his head. He was the taller of the group, anyway, and she could see all around them from up there.
A bit ahead of herself, the 'black fuzz' reared to her hind legs, to take a good look around, though she lost her already horrible balance, and slid off Keith's head, with a sharp mew, fall into toward the hard floor, eyes wide, ears back, tail ticked safely between her legs. To hell with the sprawled-out kitty comics. Becoming a furrball would probably be to benefit.
{{Buh bye ^.- }}
Ginny had walked over to the man who had kicked Lavender and confronted him. After a moment of threating him in a low voice he slowly went towards Lavender, obviously being made to apologize.
Lavender landed with a muffled thud, directly o her bottom, and yelped loudly in protest to the pain riding up her backside. She growled and shook it off, green eyes upon the approaching male - green eyes upon the approaching male's boots.
Ginny went ahead of the man and picked up Lavender. In a direct, no nosense voice, she directed the man to apologize to Lavender.
Lavender, held by Ginny's hands under each front arm, let her backside become limg, though her tail curled about her tiny feet, her minute nose sniffing just slightly, at his ash-tray scent. Her ears pinned back in a frightened way, her many shaded green eyes glittereing suspiciously, she took up the look of utter cute, timid, kitty-ness..
The man gave a sheepish look to the rest, and in a rough voice said, "I apologize, kitty, for kicking you."
Ginny smirked at him.
The kitten squirmed and dropped from Ginny's grip, and in a short flash of deep green, almost black light, the slim human figure of a pale beauty emerged. Lavender stood where the kitten had just before, wobbling a bit on her feet, and finally sinking down to rest on her knees. Not her backside, for it hurt enough, thank you. It was amazing of how much trouble and hurt a simple kitten could get into.
"Thanks, buddy. just next time, watch out for the little kitties beneath your feet. That hurts you know.."
Lavender swiped a napkin from a neighboring diner table and dabbed at the few escaping dribbles of blood from the scratch her cheek, where she had been swiped with his boot.
The man's shooked look sent Ginny into convolsive giggles that had her doubled over.
Lavy looked at Lavender. "Well that was a intresting time. Well, I rest my case, Lavender, your just plain weird."
Ginny laughed even harder at what Lavy said and fell down.
Lavy started laughting to, but tryed to keep a staright face so that Lavender could respond.
Now laughing hystericaly, Ginny was gaining many strange looks.
Lavender scowled and tossed her bloodied napkin at Lavy's face, a sort-of grin forming.
The male with the big feet and ash-tray smell shrugged his shoulders, stupefied, and left to wherever it was he was going. Lavender, then, began a quiet set of giggles..
Ginny suddenly stood up, her grin still there. Swiftly, she used her wand to make the nloddied rag dissapear and reappear in the man's pocket. Once again, she fell into a fit of giggles. She didn't do this with anyone, and Lavender was one of the few she'd really laugh with.
"I rest my second case." Lavy said looking at the man as he put his hand in his pocket. "You are even, weirder Ginny, if that's possablie."
Ginny shook her head slightly, gasping for air between her giggles.
Lavy rolled her eyes and helped Ginnyinto a chair. "Yep those cases are dead in the water not just put to rest."
Ginny rolled off the chair and stood, leaning against the wall, avoiding peoples eyes. She knew, from expericance, if she were to look anyone in the face she would explode in giggles again.
"Yep...dead....in...the...water." Lavy said sitting down again.
Without think, Ginny looked at Lavy and exploded in giggles again.
"I'm I really that ugly?" Lavy said in a fack sad face.
Lavender bit her tongue, and stood, though wobbly, trying to force away the fact that she would burst if she did not let out that condemned, amused side of her being. She raked a hand through her messed hair, ran her tongue across her lips, then glanced at Ginny and Lavy, doing the only thing that she could do, though such a thing was fairly rare, these times.
She sank into a fit of uproarious giggles and soft laughter, her melodious tones utterly quivering in the lack of air, her amusement, for once, taking hold, and sinking her weakly to the ground, shaking, grinning, not holding back. It was an odd sight, she knew, the three of them suddenly overcome with a fit of giggles..
Lavender grinned, and swiped another fresh napkin from a passing waiter, dabbing at her cheek, and now at her eyes, filled with unrestricted tears of amusement..
Ginny smirked at Lavy.
"You really want me to answear that?"
At Lavenders laughing, she to laughed some more. Lavender didn't laugh alot, and it was good to hear.
(i have no ida whats going on)
{{ Read back hun. 'Tis pretty explanatory :-* }}
Flashing a ferocious grin, and with an echo of laughter, Lavender's form once again returned to that of a black furball {for it seemed a little less painful to cope with bruises in such a smaller form}, skittering around the groups feet, nipping at their ankles and laces occasionally. After a moment or so of gazing after where the male had wandered off to, Lavender began to follow in that direction, tail perked, jaw open in a gangly kitty-grin, whiskers on all-alert.
She made soundless way over to his table, and sat near his feet, watching him, mewing, clawing at his shoes, nipping his calves - he paid no attention to her. Still a bit annoyed that he had kicked her {Lavender never let people kick her, or a little being for that matter, without a little bit of punishment, now did she?}, she leaped up, sinking her minute teeth into the dangling tablecloth, locking her jaw. Her tiny form might not have weighed much, but there was great satisfaction, still, as she sank back to the ground, cloth in mouth still, taking down the entire table in her effort, glass and drinks and entire lunches all in one, with a loud 'Bang'.
Content with her mischief, and wary of getting in trouble, she galloped back over to her friends, hiding successfully behind Goblet's (bigger) boots, completely hidden, except for her peeking nose and whiskers...
(I did. I still don't understand)
(where all laughting)
"Where is that dog?" said Goblet, loud enough to where the guy that was bitten heard him.
At this Lavy burst into a fit of giggles trying hard not to look at Lavender.
Ginny grinned and shot a glance at the man.
There was a squeal of kitty-ish tones as Lavender rolled to her back, still in kitten form, paws flailing as she laughed. With a grin, she changed back into her own form, rolling with laughter still.
The male at the other end of the room was standing and muttering in anger still, and it amused her beyond limits.
Wiping a stray tear from the crook of her eye, Lavender heaved up her giggling form and leaned against Ginny, laughing, openly.
"That's so mean!!" Lavy got out beteewn laughs.
Lavender grinned in Lavy's direction, and stifled another set of boundriless giggles.
"I know!" she laughed out.
"Evil evil lady, but.........it's so funny!"
"Hope he didn't bite anybody! It has rabies!" said Goblet again, loud enough for that guy to hear him.
"And there really bad to. I once saw that cat take down an entire hippo." Lavy said sitting up straight and try to act more serious.
(cat? I said, where is that dog a few posts ago.)
{{Nopeses, I was a kittycat ;D }}
Lavender smirked, and ducked behind Goblet, Ginny and Lavy, bursting into another set of outrageous giggles.
The males face was priceless. Aghast, and petrified, he turned heal, and raced to the door, screaming, " RABIES?!"
Goblet clutched his sides laughing.
