(didn't know what to name this one)
Dre sat on the edge of the lake under the burning sun. Looking into the water her reflection stared back at her. She swiped her hand across the surface of the water in anger, causing water to splash on her.
Letting out a low growl, she pulled her purple hair into a messy ponytail and stared at a spot across the lake.
Lavy came up out of the Lake and saw Dre. She swam over to her. "Hey, how's it going?"
"Well,it's going. Not sure if that's a good thing."
There was a sharp intake of breath as a figure emerged partly from the water, elbows raising and resting upon the shoreline.
"It has been a frequent occurence that Hogwarts students have horrible days... But I don't think I much understand, Milady. Your reflection doesn't seem so terrible."
Xaver turned his head toward the girl, his chin set upon his arms, his shirtless body leveled mid-chest in the chjilly lakewater. He rubbed his cheek upon his shoulder absently, dark eyes meeting hers, then Lavy's.
"Lavy," he greeted.
"It is not my reflection, more the person in it. But I do thank you for the compliment."Dre smirked at the shirtless figure. She held out her hand,"I'm Dre.Or Dragon, both are fine."
"Touché."
Xaver met her smirk with a wicked grin, extending his cold hand to firmly grasp hers.
"You are welcome, though it was merely a statement. Not a compliment. No, no, not a compliment."
He winked, chuckling in a low tone, teasing, though kind.
"It is a pleasure, Dre. I am Xaver."
"You think everyone is touche Xaver, why is that?"
"Nice to meet you Xaver."Putting her hands in here pockets.
"And you, Milady, and you."
Xaver inclined his head, then passed his grin to Lavy, withdrawing his hand to rake over his black hair, then cross with the other upon the shore, at his chest.
"Eh, who knows. I like the word. Touché, yes?"
He chuckled.
Lavy smiled and shook her head. She out her hands on the egde if the Lack and pulled herself out leveing her most of her legs underwater.
Dre looked at Xaver with curiosity,"You are...different than the rest of the students...Not meaning to offend, not me. But you are...different."
"That Xaver for you."
There was a subtle hint of some off tone to his eyes, but nothing evolved upon his features save a smile.
"Different, yes. In some ways," he said awkwardly, pausing then, for he noted his thoughts were completely off, from hers. "Erm.. what do you mean?.."
"As I said,I'm not meaning to offend. You just seem different...I don't know how to explain it..."Dre scratched the back of her head."I'm sure it's nothing. I tend to see more than I should in people."
Dre blushed slightly,"I shouldn't of brought it up. I was just pointing it out."
"That could be very useful if you find yourself in unknow places."
"No need to be embarrassed, Milady. Who knows, you may just be on to something," Xaver replied gently.
He set his jaw upon the crook of his elbows, grinning a bit.
Dre smiled and sighed,"Oh well, even if you are different than the rest of us I don't think I want to know. Everyone has so many emotions and unique-ness that I've learned to be indifferent about it."
"Werid. Maybe I should learn o do that."
"Yeah you do. I think you are a bit too interested in other people's lives."
"Me?" Lavy said in a fake shocked voice.
"Probably a wise choice, not to intrude," he input quietly. "Butr you never know."
Xaver smiled, then lifted himself out of the water, gliding smoothly to the pool of his dropped silk shirt, slipping it over his wet torse, but not bothering, caring, to button it. He sat and began to put back on his boots, lacing them with a lazy, but not careless manner.
"Hmmmm..."Dre looked out to the lake and pulled her knees to her chest. The sun was setting into the horizon so the water looked orange and purple.
Lavy shrugged. "I guess if I trusted people more my life would be easier. But then again I might not be alive right now if I did that."
"Lavy. You should not have so much fear in you. It weakens you and drags you down."Dre said without looking up from the lake.
"It may be a weakness but it's keept me alive so I can't really complain can I."
"Like so many people you hear but you do not listen."She shook her head."But I do not wish to exchange morals with you."
"I try and use my faults in my own advangtage. In this case not being able to trust easly has in fact lead me away from people who would have or gotten me killed."
Dre stood up,"Whatever. I need to...get away from here..."She started walking toward the school. Her head was pounding inside her skull like it was trying to get out. She leaned against the school walls and stared at the sky.
(you know I'm ging to follow you lolz)
Lavy followed Dre. She walked up to her but remaind silent.
"Go away. You are making my head hurt."Dre said through gritted teeth.
Xaver watched the girls with mild interest, raising and walking back toward the lakeside, hands dipped low into his pockets. His hair, so black that light did not seem to reach it, was slicked back, held with its damp entity. He shook his head violently, releasing it to its usual messiness.
Staying quiet, he watched them converse, not interested in following someone, who did not want to be followed.
Dre walked a few feet away from Lavy and sent a mental message to Xaver.~It is not you I have a problem with. You may approach if you like. She just makes my head hurt.~
"I do that to everyone Dre, just ask Payne."
"Yeah,she told me."Dre said smirking.
"Well then you will also know that walking away form me dosen't help it just makes it worse." Lavy said crossing her arms.
Dre took a deep breath and said,"Why don't you look to your own house before you try to help your neighbor. You are the one who needs help."
"I'm well awear of that Dre, theres no need for you to repeat what is already known."
Xaver chuckled darkly, shaking his head.
~No problems, Dre. I must be leaving, anyway. Please, find me at another time. Conversation with you should continue.~
Xaver smiled, turned, and simply vanished.
~No prob~
Dre rolled her eyes and looked off into the woods.
"So we now have a problem, you want me to leave and I will not, how will this be solved?"
"By you leaving..."Dre said looking at Lavy like she was retarded.
"Or by you getting over your apperent problems."
Dre laughed a cold laugh,"My problems? You need to get over yourself."
"Or the other way around. Dre I repect yuo for the simple reason that you are one of Payne's freinds, do not tempt me to kill you because I will."
(just to clear things up that's not true, I like you)
(I know)
"Kill me? There is more of a chance that Athena will strike me down than you."
(ya :D)
"I'm on very good speking terms with her, and show dose owe me a few favors." Lavy said thoughfully.
Dre smirked and said nothing. But inside her head,a laugh was slowly building up.
(g2g)
Lavy shook her head. "Just like Payne, only she can see what's she done and fix it. Unlike you who just keep pissin' off the wrong people. You'll learn someday."
"You know less about the real Queen than you think."Dre got up and orbed away.
"I could say the same about you."

(ya I know but I had nothing else to do or say)
(okay then)
Dre arrived in a very dirty looking bar. Sitting down at a corner booth, she sighed and put her head in her hands. She mumbled a few curse words and didn't look up when she felt someone appear next to her.
