Dre sat beside the fireplace. It was 12 o'clock at night and she couldn't sleep. She jumped up when she heard someone come down the stairs."I wasn't doin' nothin'!"
Xaver rounded the corner of the staircase, dressed merely in a pair of black jeans. (His usual sleeping and common room apparel, as of late) He grinned inanely as he heard Dre's voice.
"Sure, sure, Milady. Just as I was coming down here to make sure you weren't."
He chuckled and dropped himself into a chair, compact, smooth muscles rippling as he did so.
"Couldn't sleep, then?"
"Nah,keep having visions about people dying. What about you? You can't be down here just to check up on me."She sat back down and leaned against the wall.
"Just forever haunted by my fathers indolence and stupidity," he growled within to himself, outwardly sighing.
"Sleep does not come easily to me..."
Xaver grinned over at her then.
"Heh. You never know. Maybe I was coming down to check up on you."
Laughing lightly she said,"Stalking me huh? I thought you were above that."
Stephanie was sitting in a nearby chair, reding through a rather thick book. She mermered a few words sometimes, and would occassionally, twist her golden hair with her finger.
Dre ignored Stephanie. She created a fire orb and started throwing it up and down.
Lavy came walking thought the door quietly. "Well I see I'm no the only person who doesn't sleep.'
Stephanie looked rather irritated by now. Her mermering came more and more frequent. She suddenly just she her book, and close her eyes. She was trying to calm her self down, it was obvious.
"What's wrong with you?" Lavy said looking over at her with a confeussed look.
"Stupid book," ahe mumbled. Her hand suddenly flew to a spot on her head. owwww
Dre's hand flew to the exact same place as Stephanie's."I...got to...go..."She got up and ran out of the room.
Her face was drawn in pain, and Stephanie started feeling faint.
Laby qiuckly walked over to her. "What is it?"
Xaver conquered an orb of dark obsidians, simply leaned back into the couch, and sighed, throwing the orb up, high into the rafters, and catching it effortlessly. His eyes upon the fire, he stared off, his thoughts elsewhere, oblivious to anything else but the dancing flames.
~Well, if i knew, i woiuldn't be in pain. i guess it was from losing my patience, but this had never happened before.~
"Crazy." Lavy said thoughfuly. "Hummm......................"
