AKILAH walked out of Hogwarts. She ran over to the lake and snapped her fingers, a black two-piece replacing her clothing. Diving into the water she resurfaced and looked around.
"Hi." Ginny said from on top of the water. She wore a white t-shirt and jeans, and was sitting on the water as though it were solid.
"Errrr...hi?"Akilah brushed her black hair out of her eyes and held out her hand,"I'm Akilah, I don't think we've met."
"Nope." Ginny smiled.
"But I know some about you. Your in sixth year, and you just arrived." She laughed softly.
"By the way, I'm Ginny Weasly."
She looked confused,"How did you...I don't want to know..."
"One, I'm psychic, and no amount of mental blocks can keep me out. Two, I'm not a student. I'm head of Student Affairs and I know about every student." She grinned, cheekily.
"Oh, well that makes since. I think Neo mentioned you."
"Yeah, and it was probably something bad. Neo and I don't really see eye to eye." She said, not sounding very sad about it.
"Anyway, do you like this school?" She asked.
"Yeah, cold though. Course I'm from a desert so..."Akilah shrugged.
"This is England, a hot day is a rare occurance." She said, grinning. Suddenly, she stood and fell through the water. When she resurfaced, she wasn't wet at all, but rather as dry as before.
"Whoops."
Akilah looked surprised,"Wait...your not wet."
"My element is water." Ginny said, casually, pulling herself up and sitting down again.
"Really? But I can control all the elements and I still get wet."
"I have total control over water. I can do some with every element, most everyone can, but everyone has one single strong lement. Mine is water." She shrugged, then grinned.
"COurse, you'd think that I'd control the lake, but I don't. I control the forest."
"Cool."Akilah made a water ball.
"WHich I'm sure you havn't head about." She said, smirking. She looked over at the forest and stood, more carefully this time, and walked a=over the water to the shore. SHe streached and her watch beeped.
Akilah floated lazily on the water.
Ginny smiled and touched her watch, reading the face. She frowned.
"Conan, your such a ditz." She muttered.
"What?"Akilah said getting out of the water. Fire surronded her and she was dry. She snapped her fingers and her cloths were on. Pulling her hair into a messy ponytail, she looked at Ginny quizically.
"My--" Ginny stopped, frowning.
"Conan Sulai. He insists on comming and hanging out everyday. I told him I want him to be more careful with his time ring, but he just ignores me." She shook her head as there was a flash of light over the lake.
Conan, a tallish boy with sandy-brown hair walked out and stepped into thin air. He fell the few feet and landed in the lake with a large splash as the time portal closed. He surfaced, sputtering and looked around for Ginny. He waved./
Ginny rolled her eyes.
"He's such a klutz." She muttered.
Akilah laughed. "Funny too."
"Yeah. Not when you have to rule a kingdom with him." Ginny said, walking to the shore as he swam up.
"Hey Ginny. Whats up?" He asked, standing up. His clothes were soaking wet, and he tried to give Ginny a hug.
"Don't you dare." She said, rasing an eyebrow. She placed a hand on his chest and his cloths dried, as did his hair. Then she smiled.
"Now you can hug me." She said, smirking.
"About time." He said, hugging her. He looked over at Akilah.
"Hi, I'm Conan."
"Akilah."She raised an eyebrow but said nothing.
"Ignore him. He's always happy." Ginny said, frowning again.
Conan laughed.
"And your always grumpy, Gin." He looked back at Akilah.
"Nice to meet you. You've gotta be new around here."
"But his skills in observation are great. Yep, I'm new."
"Only 'cause Gin here made sure of that before we left the first time." He said, smiling. "So, what year?"
Ginny rolled her eyes, once again looking at the forest.
"6th."She said smiling.
"If Ginny had stayed in school, you'd be in the same year as her." Conan said.
Ginny scowled at him.
"Shut up."
"A drop out? I wouldn't have guessed. I thought she was older."
"Not a drop out." Ginny said, growling suddenly. She glanced at Conan and walked away from the two of them, heading towards the forest.
Conan sighed.
"Ginny's kinda....complicated." He said, watching her dissappear.
"No crap...Should I apologize?"
"No, it's not your fault. She'll come back later and act like nothing happened. It's how she works." He rubbed the back of his neck.
"Besides, I talk to much." He smirked.
"Hm. Your girlfriend is very complex." Akilah said sitting down.
"She's not just my girlfriend, she's my wife. Which is one of the reasons she's no longer a student." He said, also sitting. He crossed his legs and picked up a stick, drawing in the dirt.
Akilah blinked and shook her head. Pulling out her lap-top, she started typing humming slightly to herself.
Conan looked up at the sound of her typing.
"What's that?" He asked, looking at the laptop.
"Ummm...a muggle thing called a lap-top. You can type stories instead of having to write it on paper."
"But if it'a a mugle machien, then how does it work?" He asked.
"Electricity."Akilah looked at Conan.
"Uh-huh...." Conan said, still slightly confused.
"I thought stuff had to be plugged in for elctry-thingy to work." he said.
"Well, this is on a battery which stores electricity."
COnan shook his head, still confused.
"I'm sorry. I'm not only muggle, I'm also from ancient Romainia."
"Woah, ancient Romainia huh? Cool."She turned off the laptop and put it in her bag.
"Not really. The only electricity I see is in the castle, and it's all cause Ginny put it there."
"Hm. I'd like to see Romainia one day. Might freeze to death but..."
Conan laughed.
"It's not that cold!"
"For me it might be. You don't know!"Akilah said smiling.
He laughed.
"Then you'll have to come in summertime, it's pretty warm then."
