Ginny bounced down the steps Halloween night, happily. She had her hair up in a bun and she wore black jeans. The only out of normal thing was her black hoodie had the words Happy Halloween in orange that glowed every few seconds. She stood outside the Great Hall, as she had been told to do to make sure there were no fights.
She smiled.
"Calm down, Neo. I would't laugh."
Pig and Nick walked up to Ginny and Neo.
Pig smilled she loved haloween , she thought she'l dress up. she was the clasic witch pointed hat strippy tights and pontied shoes. she had a jagged knee lenght black skirt and a of the sholder green long sleeve top.
where as Nick didnt dress up he just wore some jeans and a black top.
" hey happy haloween" Pig said happily
"Hey Pig, Nick. Nice costume, both of you!" She smiled, knowing Nick wasn't wearing a costume.
" thank you" pig said
Nick looked at ginny and grinned " Penny tried to make me dress up, but as you can see she didnt succed"
pig hit Nick playfully on the arm
"What? That isn't a mask?" Ginny said, feiging shock.
"Oh, so mean.." Lavenders voice called to them, pretending a playful swoon, ending, in what could almost be a giggle.
Her lean, toned figure appeared around the corner, a soft, amused glint in her many shaded green eyes - the only thing, other than her melodious voice, and silky raven hair, that was recognizable.
Lavender's pale skin seemed to glow, glittering here and there, in the right, most vibrant curves and places, pale as ever, but such was a more common occurrence these days. Her raven hair was pinned up in the most dazzling of ways, with chains and braids and crystals and weaves of her own spiky, glittery, creation, a few long strands loose, dangling about in various places, to cascade about her great head.
She wore black, Egyptian sandals, flats that held gently to her small feet, wrapping up her ankles, to her lower calves. She could feel blisters already beginning to form at the tight edges of their leather holdings, over her fishnet, thin tights, which wove their confusing ways up her long, lean legs in the most curious of ways, to her hips. Lavender wore a very Egyptian-like costume, her clothing representing the very ancient Egyptian culture, though very flattering, sexy in her own unique way.
Her hand-made designs were all set in various, flourishing blacks, robe-like, thick in material about her right shoulder, and draping to skim the floor behind her. The material became thicker, and of silk cloth, wrapped in a firm, well-covering, but flattering, horizontal line over her well-defined breasts, a few inches over, and skimming the mid of her ribcage, tying off in the back in a firm knot, then, the trailing back over her firm middle in an 'X' fashion, then tying off, and trailing to the floor behind her.
A skirt of weaving, numerous materials rested at her toned hips, fanning out in opal, obsidian streams, from the short length of her upper thigh, to the longer length of her knees, a solid black silk under-skirt raggedly reaching her mid-thigh.
Lavender went a bit wild on her make-up, painting her tilted, icy green eyes in dark and defining grays and blacks, her cheeks brushed with a glittery bronze, her full, delicate lips glossed over with crystalline glitters.
Lavender went directly to the small group of her friends, and smiled most curiously, her eyes alit in excitement.
"Heyas!"
"Hey! Merry Holloween!," Fayah said. Her hair was up in a bun, but was generally dressed, as herself.
"Hey Lavender, great costume. Hi Fayah. Alright, everyone move along, i'm gonna get in trouble for holding up the line." She smiled and pushed open the door for them.
" very funny Ginny " nick said sarcasticly
" anyway we better get in " pig said walking in and thanked gin for opining the door she loooked at the menny decoractions in awww.
the hall cieling was as uasal reflected the weather.the sky was dark and full of stars live bats flapped there wings. there were small pumkin lantans on each table huge banners that flashed and sparkled.
" this place looks great" pig said to nick
"It looks great alright!" Fayah said as she bounced through the doors.
Harry walked up in his normal wizard robes.
(Hey Gin, did the party start to yet."
"Yup, go ahead in." Ginny said, smiling at Harry before looking back at other students.
"Hey Harry..." Lavender said awkwardly. She smiled slightly, or she tried to, her eyes hinting a slight tearful glaze, before she was swept away, pushed out of the way and farther into the room by a large group of people. Now standing quite alone at the other end of the doorway, she sighed, and went over to the pitcher of juice. She poured herself a glass in silence, turning, and watching all the couples on the dance floor, with that sort of detachment, she had been trying to fight away and conceal all day, to for once be happy at an event. To enjoy it.
Ginny watched her friends from the outside. She noted Pig's happiness, Harry's slight excitement, and Lavenders quiet ways. She leaned against the door, feeling slightly melancholy.
Harry smiled.
"Time for me to get into costume."
Harry snaped his finger and sparks when all around him that only high magic users could see. When it went away he look exactly the same to him, but to others he would apear as thier worst fear. But this year he remembered to put a failsafe in the spell; in case someone got too frightened, the spell would fall to show his true self to that person.
"Hey Lav, can you tell me if my spell worked?"
pig looked over towards were lavander was she jumped with shock with wat was standing next to her a huge snake. her eyes went wide she tugged on nicks sleave and wisperd " there is a huge snake over there"
"It did, Harry," Lavender said in a low tone.
She didn't really know how to approach Harry anymore. It would be too confusing to pretend that she was as she had been in older times. The blood connection had never been true, but it had been closer before Lavender knew the truth. She now knew that she had utterly no relation to the Potters. But how would Harry take that? The very thought brought glistening tears to the corners of her dazzling, gorgeously painted eyes. Very unusual, very striking.
She turned her head away, unable to face Harry..

Ginny didn't look at Harry, she knew what he was doing.

Harry put his hand on Lav's shoulder.
"Whats wrong?"
An icy, sharp pang drove through Lavender's middle, and she visibly trembled, shying a bit away, from Harry's hand.
"You've been away, for a long time, Harry," she nearly whispered, finding nothing else, to say.

Lavender faced him, facing him, but not meeting his eyes. She stared over his shoulder a bit, seeing nothing, really.
"You just missed a lot, that's all..."
Ginny watched Lav and Harry. She was supposed to stay at the door, but what did she care? They weren't gonna fire her, at least not till the end of term. She walked over, avoiding to look at Harry as well, but only beacuse he was wearing his costume.
"Who could blame you. I missed you too Lav. At least I'm here now right."

"You ok?" She asked her, softly.
