Kei stood in the middle of a crowd of people. Her backpack hung on her shoulder and she looked around and stomped her foot on the ground,"Darn it! How hard is it to get to a freakin' castle! It's huge!" People looked at her strangly and continued on.
"Hi. You look a little lost." Ginny said, walking up. She smiled.
Kei looked at her and smiled,"Yes! I'm not from around here, granted I'm from a totally different country, but yes I am lost and you look like you know the way to Hogwarts."She took a deep breath.
"Of course I do. Not only does it depend on my job, it sometimes depends on my life." She laughed softly, then smiled again.
"Great! Than can you show me the way?"Kei started bouncing on her heels hyper-activily.
"Sure." Ginny smiled and pushed her hair from her face, revealing a long slender cut on the top of her cheek. She smiled and turned, "Follow me."
Kei followed her and said,"I'm Kei by the way."
"Ginny Weasly." She siad, glancing back and nodding. She ledKei up the path that passed the forest.
Kei hummed slightly to herself. After a few minutes she looked at the scar on Ginny's cheek."What happened to your cheek, if you don't mind me asking."
"The cut?" Ginny's hand went up to it and she laughed.
"Yeah, the kid who gave me ithad ment to cut my throat. He's not very good with his hands though. Poor kid." She shurruged and continued walking.
Kei smiled."Wow, you don't worry about getting hurt much do you?"
"I know when I die and how, and I don't fear death. And since I was trying to kill the kid who gave it to me, I consider it a fair way. I won anyway." She knew that Kei would understand that Ginny had killed the kid.
Kei looked shocked for a second,"Why?"
"Why did I win? Cause I dropkicked him in the face and blasted his head off with an explosion spell." Ginny said, as the castle gates came into view.
"No, I mean why did you kill him?"
"Oh, that. Cause he tried to kill someone I love alot in the future." She shrugged, it didn't bother her much.
Kei nodded and started humming again. She looked up at the castle and smiled, totally forgeting about Ginny and the kid.
Ginny tapped the gate and it sung opean. Ginny led Kei up the trail to the entrence.
"What's your name again?" Ginny asked, snapping her fingers.
"Kei Sunra."
"Oh yeah. You've been schedualed for a long time. Kinda late. arn't you?" Ginny asked, snapping her fingers again, making three papers appear. She handed the new ones to Kei.
"Rules of the School, Rules for my forest, and your schedual."
Kei's eyes scanned the pages and smiled at Ginny."Thanks!"
"No problem, it's what I'm paid for." She laughed and walked up the steps, pushing open the doors.
"Have you been selected into a house yet, or do you still need to be sorted?"
"Still need to be sorted."Kei followed Ginny.
"Alright, I'm sure we can manage that." Ginny led Kei to a small room and held out her hand. The Sorting Hat appeared.
"Since it's so late in the year, we won't have a ceremony. Put this on." She said, holding out the hat.
Kei put the hat on her head and a voice came out of the hat.
"Ahhhhhh...A Sunra...haven't had one of you in a while..."
"Cool, it talks. Can it play dead?"
It laughed,"Very well, I see you have a very inquisitive mind and aren't evil though you are quite a loss to Slytherin. RAVENCLAW!!!"
Ginny laughed and lifted the hat.
"Now go back to sleep." She said, tapping it and making it dissappear.
"How old are you, Kei?"
"16."Kei said looking around.
"Alright then, sixth year. Come on, I'll show you your dorm." She started up some steps.
Kei followed, bouncing slightly.
"Your a bit hyper, arn't you?" Ginny asked, her voice echoing in the silent empty hallways. It was the middle of the school day, and clasess were in session.
"Only alittle."Kei said smiling.
"Nice." She laughed and stopped at a portal and opeaned it, not needing the password. Once inside the Ravenclaw Common room, she led Kei up the steps to the girl's dorms. They went, almost to the top before Ginny pushed open the door, revealing a room with 5 beds.
Kei smiled and waved her hand. A black trunk landed on a bed.
"There you go. Now, I have to get to the forest. If you need me, give me a shout." Ginny said, smiling.
Kei nodded and sat on the bed.
Ginny turned and walked out, closing the door behind her. She made her way through the quiet halls and to the forest, whistling for a wolf.
