I saw Goblet of Fire a week ago, and I LOVED it! It is my favorite so far and I can't wait until it comes out on DVD! :) Did anybody else here see it?
I saw it. They put so many changes in the movies that it pretty much lost its meaning by now. I mean, never in the book I read that the Bauxbauxtoun girls did various flips as they entered the main hall.
I think those kinds of things make the movie more interesting and keeps viewers attention.
Atract attention huh? Well, I am gonna practice "going into school..."
NOTE: DONT LET DIS GO OFF TOPIC
yea..right...you do that...
anyhoo, i saw it and i loved it. i hated the 4th book, but that was definatly the best movie so far.
oh and i loved the flips the chick school did when they came in, same as i liked the other schools intro, it just made it more interesting.
(;D I think I said this before, but...) If you ignore the book and look only at the movie, it's still a great movie!
I was really disappointed with Prisoner of Azkaban, so Goblet of Fire makes up for it and then some!
Yeah... I didn't like PoA either. Of all people, they had to get a porno director :P
Certainly, GoF makes up for it ;D
I don't think it was the director's fault. Alfonso didn't write the script, he just directed it. I think he did a great job at directing it, but the script sucked because they skipped so much.
Wait... first of all, what on earth does a director do? ;D I mean, does he just shout instructions at people and make them follow? :P
And speaking about the script, I guess Alfonso would have had some influence over the script. (BTW, Alfonso Cuaron had his birthday 2 days ago)
*Giggles* Shouldn't that be pretty obvious? Director. I read an article, I think in Newsweek magazine about Cuaron. At first, he didn't want to direct the film, but a special script was delivered to him. He said that he never even read the books, but when he read the script he liked what he saw so he decided to direct the movie.
OK, but is there a possibility that he made changes to the script?
i did they left out spew and bill and charlie !!!!!!!

Yes, there may be a possibility that he made small changes, but I really don't think he changed entire scenes. :-\ That's just my theory, and I was still disappointed in the movie, but I don't blame Alfonso.

:-\ I'm really bad at internet language. It was sad that they had to leave out SPEW because that would have been hilarious, and if they added Bill and Charlie then they would have had to add a lot more which would have made the movie even longer and cost more money. I hate when stuff has to be cut out, but at least they didn't cut too much. Did you like Goblet of Fire, FizzingWhizbees?

Actually the director does more than just give intructions to the acters and actresses. He also gives directions to the stunt people, special effects people, and so on...
*eye roll*Lol,a director does behind the camera work.....He doesn't just "DIRECT" as his title would suggest...He makes the "VISION" of the script come together by using the camera. You see,Its very complicated. You have to look at film angles,shots...Filters....And generally, the producers have more power toward what gets into the movie. The director is the vision of the film.(I have to know this stuff, since I want to be a director.)

I especially wanted to see Charlie, but sadly... I didn't really like the SPEW parts, though... I thought they were a complete waste of time ;D

Film angles,shots...Filters... sounds more like the work of a cameraman, but on the other hand, in the 3D animation industry (here I go again ;D) a CG Director has to deal with eveything, which includes film angles, shots and filters ;D
But the director doesn't write the script. At least not in this case. I loved the SPEW line, and I really wish it wasn't cut! It would have been really funny.
I know the Director doesn't write the script, but most Directors edit the script to suit themselves better. (Directors are, after all, the leaders :P)
My point was, I don't blame Alfonso.
Ok. There's another thing though, you know the first two movies? There was never-before-seen footage on the last tracks of Disc 3 (VCD) or Disc 2 (DVD), but is there any on Movie 3's disc?
well, considering the deleated sceans SUCKED for the first two, i dont think anyone's actually missing them...
... opinion :P
Well, I was talking about Movie 3...
I really don't care about never before seen footage. It's just not important. At lease I don't think it is.
In this case, that is probably true.
However, according to a friend, one of the LOTR movies had more than fifteen minutes cut out of it. That's a different story.

yeah but it'll be better with bill and charlie

I hope you take Brian's way of becoming a director. Ha! Don't ask.
i had one problem with gof and that is in the book there was about 30 death eaters in the grave yard
and in the movie there was only 4 crabbe goyle (senior) mcnair and malfoy (senior)
Listen, if they did EXACTLY everything they did in the movie as they did in the book, it would end up being a 40 hour film. Nobody would want to see that.
you have a point but still that would be cool a 40 hr movie
A 40hr movie will prolly take ¼ century to make ;D
Or it will take a spark of global deterioration, go kabooey, and 'You Got Movie', or something. (don't ask, lol)
A 40hr movie could be made by flipping on a switch, setting a camera somewhere, and letting it film nonsense. But we all know that won't be seen in theatres. :P
It would take years though.
>> A 40hr movie could be made by flipping on a switch, setting a camera somewhere, and letting it film nonsense
Good point... Setting a camera by the roadside and leaving it there for 40 hours will get you a 40hr movie! LOLZ... ;D
lol. Exactly. And while such a camera might get a few good weird looks on film, or stolen altogether, such a thing would be hard to make :P
That would be pretty funny though, a robbery of the camera caught on camera...I can see it now...The Life of the Theif, As Told By Its Victim...then of course, there would be a book deal for the camera and a apperance on Opera...lol
lol. Eh, but then the poor camera would develop some mental psychosis, go on Dr. Phil, and wind up on Jerry Springer.
Interesting, and strange, mind you. :P
It was cool! I just love the tournament and the graphics are just amazing! The director has a very good way of expressing the mood of the characters. It was just brilliant! 8) 8) 8)
so neo do you think kojo liked hp 4
LOL I don't know, he might have liked the 3rd one better ::) :P
I think Gob needs to use his mod powers on some of Kojo's posts...
Woah I'm a mod? oh there it is. The message saying I'm a mod. I didn't realize it til I found it where the My Messages were. I'm stupid BETTER THAN EVERYBODY! <==== The Following was edited by the Glorious Goblet Of The Magnificent Fire.
Hahahahaha
But no reason to change Kojo's post. She was staying on topic.
Ehhhhhhh....its debateable.....and I just have a personal phobia of people who write like O MAN!!!!!111!!!1!1!!111!!!11!!!!111!!!!
Oh, Goblet, do you have any particular reason for calling Kojo a "she"?
And Goblet, if you could only edit one thing in Kojo's post, let that be the exclaimation marks ;D
y ai was wonderin bout that i thought koja was a he i dont know well ....
There. Now yall happy?
And would a he write "IT JUST BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D!!!!!!!:D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D!!!!!!!!!!"?

Yes, very nice work gob, if I may say so myself.
I saw it just yesterday.. it's great! Although annoying that most parts of the book isn't there (yeah, yeah I know they can't put everything in the movie) ;D
Yes. You may so say yourself. Nobody can change the posts like I can! My morale(...happiness) is soaring!

I saw the movie and is very good but and HP 3 IS GOOD...
I saw the movie and I thought it was the best one so far. :) Can't wait until the next movie comes out!!
I was disappointed in GOF because they left out a lot of stuff. The character Winky was important. It was okay, but I just hope that the fifth one is better!
i'm mad that in the fifth they cut out ron flying!!

ooops i forgot sarcasm doesnt translate to well in typing.
I knew it was sarcasm :)
I thought that it was okay. They added some parts that weren't from the book and if they would've took that out then they could've added a part that was from the book. For example: In the book, during the 1st task with the dragon, the scene was never around the school, it stayed in the rink.
I thought it was pretty good all in all though :)
i saw it when it first came out and also read the book.
