Happy Easter everyone! Hope ya'll have a great day!
hey thanks man
i was just bout to do this same topic but i guess you beat me! ;D
well Happy Easter
yeah, Happy Easter.
Did you know, they actually want to start calling the Easter Bunny, the 'Spring' Bunny because Easter is a religious holiday, and America can't stand religion.
straight up
Did you also know that the ACLU is making some schools call Christmas "Sparkle Season" because Christmas might
"offend" someone? I'm offended that someone might be offended ::)
lol....that's so stupid no one's going to remember to say that
I'd kill the first person I heard who did say that. Sensetivity can kiss my a**, I really don't give a crap about other cultures...but that's just me... :P ::)
I do...I just don't like it when they try to negatively impose on my beliefs and traditions.
I couldn't care less, as long as no one tries to convert me to whatever they beleive in. I have heard and repeted jokes about almost every religion possible.
It has nothing to do with imposing religion, it has everything to do with the ACLU continuing its war on Christianity >:(

That's just like saying America can't stand itself, because our goverment was based on Christian beliefs.
Its not America that can't stand religion, its the elites and college professors who hate it. True Americans don't.
Happy Easter!
but in Hong Kong the hoilday is the end... ( for working people )
i'm student.. so if i said wrong ( the grammar ) .... i'm sorry ><
Lol let's put it this way, you speak and write a foreign language much better than I do, so I really can't say anything about it :P
Heh, and alot better then I'd do. I only know some Spanish, and a few choice words in Japanese!
lol I beat you both!!!!!
you beat us both in what? i can speak spanish to a certain degree, since im in spanish 4, but i just have trouble writing it because i forgot how to spell a lot of it.
I can speak english, spanish and french!!! oh....what now!!! oh, my mom tried to teah me greman but that didn't really work out
I know a few tourist stuff in French, I had to learn it cause I'm going there this summer, but I wouldn't call that knowing it. And I can sing a song in Russian, and tranaslate a few words, but that's not knowing it either.
my spanish pretty much sucks but I can form senteces and talk to someone for about ten 15 mintes..but that's all
My best friend is fluent in english and german...
most amrican's are fluent in english ::)
I know how to swear in some languages. But before anybody can jump to any conclusions, I go to school with some very loud mouthed people.
Lol that's because we don't speak English Lavy, we speak American. That and the fact that since America doesn't have an official language, the requirement to learn English isn't there. You can't expect people to do something if they aren't required to do it.
good point.....but then they can just learn it since most people in America speak English American
But when textbooks, etc., are written in multiple languages, they aren't being forced to learn as they should be.
good point
Its the same as "multiculturalism". If you don't teach true American culture, and try and say that all cultures are equal and better than the culture of your own nation, then you cannot keep a people together, you can't get people to love something they know nothing about and have no respect for. If people respect and know more about other countries and cultures than our own, you can't expect people to love and respect the great nation we live in. That is the lie of multiculturalism and multilingualism.
