Al walked into the room. "Uhh.... Draco, you're arrogant cause you're ugly, an elf abuser, I beat your test scores last test, even in POTIONS, purebloods are just idiots, and you yourself aren't rich. Your father is."
Kiara shook her head and sighed. "Look Draco, certainly, you are quite beautiful on the out side, I can't think any who would argue that point, however..." She paused, a nasty, evil and dark expression taking over her usual calm and beauty. "On the inside, you are not but a weak coward with no real power, depending on your name alone to get you through this world." She went on. "Your father sees it too you know, I have heard him talk with mine." She continued. "If I were you, I would really begin thinking of your future in this world, a future that would perhaps bring you to a place where you follow a real man, a real wizard and not the pathetic doomed arrogant jerk that calls himself the Dark Lord." She growled and then said something in Parceltongue that no one else could have possible understood before she turned about and walked slowly towards the portal.
"I am hungry and in all honesty, sitting here listening to the likes of you is beginning to turn my stomach so I am leaving." She said as the porthole began to slide open before she was even within ten feet from it.
With that being said by Kiara, Draco then just stood there..in silence..looking much less arrogant as from when they started this conversation
Kiara did not smirk; she did not smile or feel happy for what she had said. Sometimes, it hurt her to see this young wizard acting the way he did. She had spent the last two years fearing for his life, she knew what it was like living where he did, under the roof of his socially powerful father, in close contact with her father all the time, especially now that she was around. She knew that Draco was not all he puffed himself up to be in front of his 'friends' she knew that he HAD to be the way he was to survive what it was he was living through and so, her harsh words were of no relief to her mind, as a matter of fact, one tear had slipped down the side of her cheek for the boy she knew perhaps better than any other in any of Hogwarts. She quickly wiped it away before any could have noticed and then, after a slight pause, wanting to turn and say she was sorry for her words but deciding differently, she hurried out the porthole.
Draco remained silent and soon decided he would go to bed. He would continue all this in the morning.
Ok - Kiara or one of you guys can go ahead and start the next morning argument on here. haha I'll be waiting.. (it can be posted tonight, by the way)
Kiara sat in the common room, a book opened up in her lap. IT was Saturday morning and she had already gone down to breakfast, sat with Harry and Ginny and the rest before coming back to her own house for some studying. She often spent her mornings with her brother and his friends, she hated the fact that they were so separated by the politics of the school and its houses, however, it was indeed her own choices in life that put her where she was and so, she stood with what was given her and spent as much time as she could with Harry, without allowing the Slytherins to berate him for it.
Harry knew how she felt about Draco, knew how she felt about her father, and knew how often times she wished Lucius dead. Hermione knew too, as did Gin, Gin was one of Kiara's favorite people in the entire world, and though the small girl held great power in magic, she also held great power in self, that was what Kiara loved about the red headed fireball more so than anything else.
This morning however, she cut her visit with them short, her mind too bothered by the way she had left Draco the night before. So now, she simply waited to hear his familiar steps come down those stairs form the boy's dorm.
Draco came walking down from the boy's dorm alone. Seeing Kiara he said, "Oh. Its you. I'm so worn out from taunting those mudbloods yesterday. Haha. They hated it. It was great. So much fun." He was trying to bug her as much as possible. He grinned at her very arrogantly. "Anyway. Have you talked to that stupid scarhead lately? Hmm. I haven't. I guess I'll go anger them later. When Crabbe and Goyle wake up, ofcourse. Yes. They need to be there with me."
Cho was still wondering how idiotic Draco was bragging about every single thing that wasn't true.
"wasnt true? it was all true. every bit of it.. especially the part about you guys being scared.. haha," draco said with a smirk

Kiara sighed, she didn't look up from her lesson nor did she continue with it, but instead, focused on the words that seemed to suddenly all become blurred in front of her eyes as Draco talked. She did take a really deep breath when he referred to her brother, but that was the entire rise he would get from her at this moment.
"Good morning Draco, I see you are back to normal again." She responded with a light tone, her emerald eyes now rising to meet his own gray ones.
Kiara always found his appearance as astoundingly attractive, if he would simply quit talking, he'd probably be the perfect male, that is, if he were to have quit talking, that was. She paused as she allowed her emerald gaze to roam over him for a moment before allowing a soft, almost friendly smile grace her lips.
"So, next weekend is another long one Draco, are you coming on my visit this time, or have you yet another excuse to keep away form his side?" She asked, he and she would be the only two that would know she was talking about her father.

"Oh..well..actually. I'm rather busy this weekend. Can't make it. ;D" he said with a slight smurk.
"Oh and go away Cho. You filthy mudblood appreciater. You're not wanted here. "

Kiara rolled her eyes, certainly her father scared her as well, but she had no choice n the matter, Draco, on the other hand wanted so badly to be next to him when he finally came to full power, something Kiara was bent in stopping, but she knew Draco wouldn't wan to visit along with herself, he never did, but she thought she would throw the invite out there just incase. She would never goad him into coming along with her, as a matter-of-fact, she really didn't want him there, she feared for him enough as it was, not that she'd ever tell him that, but she did.
"Oh, very well then Draco, well I hope your plans go through just fine and you have a wonderful time." She told him as she allowed her emerald eyes to sweep up form the book she held on her lap to gaze at him with not but a friendly smile.
"They'll go just fine. I'm sure of it. I know you'll miss me being there." Draco said matter-of-factly.
Kiara almost, yes almost, sent him a warm smile. Indeed, he might have known that he thought she'd like him there to scare him, but that was not it at all, she actually had grown to care for this arrogant jerk she lived with, though once more, she would never allow him that knowledge.
"Yes, I am certain they will." She responded instead of allowing that warmness to come to play. "Is there anything else you wish to converse with me about then?" She asked, raising one fine brow his way.
"Not really. I guess we're done talking. Unless there's anything you wish to talk about." But at that exact moment, someone walked by him and accidently bumped into him. He glared at them. Seeing they were muggleborn,he yelled after them, "Filthy Mudblood! Watch where you're going! Don't bump into your superiors!" The first year student turned around, tears slightly filling her eyes, and ran off, without another word. Draco then turned back to Kiara and smiled, with a small look of arrogance.
The soft gaze that had been placed on Draco now hardened again, her emerald orbs sparking to life with a small hint of annoyance in her manner after his encounter with the first year student.
"No, Draco, I believe we are done." She stated and then, after giving him a very disappointed glance and allowing the same disappointed sigh to escape her lips, she turned back to her studies and closed her eyes slightly, her head shaking slowly before she gave a half laugh. "Just like you Draco, always the monster to those unable to defend themselves against you, I guess it is true about what they say...." She paused and then rolled her eyes at the words she was about to say. "You CAN"T tell a book by its cover, even the most fancy of covers can hold the most inadequate and useless material." She finished and then began to read her schoolbook.
"If you're trying to imply that I am in anyway inadequate or useless, you are absolutely incorrect. Maybe you should mind your manners. You know, take a lesson from me..since I'm so kind and polite..Haha." Draco said, smirking.
"Kiara kept on reading her book though she did indeed roll her eyes slightly. "Yes dear, of course." She commented in a perfectly neutral tone without so much as giving him the tiniest look, in short, mocking him.
Kiara knew he would poke and prod until he had her angry again, but it wasn't going to work, not this morning, she was ready for just about anything. Meeting with her brother and Ron, was one thing that always set her in a good mood and normally, no matter what Draco had to say wouldn't do a thing to anger her. It had been a while from the last time she'd been forced to meet with her father, and though yes, she would soon be seeing him again, today was something of a 'Kiara' day, she felt and she wasn't about to allow Draco to get under her skin.
Draco was indeed quite shocked that she wasnt angry. "Exactly. I am so very nice..not to mention amazing, great and rich. Yes, Yes..It's nice to be me. And not some filthy mudblood," he said, trying to anger her even the slightest bit.
Kiara actually chuckled slightly at this, his blatant attempt at angering her this time. "That was a bit forced my love, best try again, perhaps you might think of taking some acting classes, I am certain your father would be more than happy to pay for them for you if it was what you truly wanted. You know, I hear that the teacher is quite the dish, very hot, no wait, she's not pure blood like us.. I forget, sometimes even the hottest of females won't turn your head if she isn't pure enough for you.. well.. " She snickered. "There IS always Pansy.. she does ever so much like you, you know." She grinned, turned around and leaned over the couch, stretching just far enough so that she could pat him almost lovingly on the cheek. "My dear,. Dear sweet Draco." She started, her hand resting on his cheek, her soft, warm palm resting quietly, and her deep emerald eyes holding him to her gaze. "You should run along now, go play with the other mindless oaf's who share your views, people like me have better things to do than listen to you belabor on things you know not about." She finished, giving him one last pat on the cheek, a wink and then turned back around and took up her book once more.
It was no secret, Kiara always had found Draco to be, outwardly, very pleasing to look upon, though his attitude was something she'd not find too hot in the least, that was perhaps the only thing that ever held her back form even wanting to be anything to him other than live-in house guest.
"You're absolutely right. I most certainly would NEVER be taught by a mudblood. Ew. But you just wait until I tell my father about this - all you just said to me. He wont be happy. Not happy at all. Then you'll be sorry," Draco said, angrily..yet arrogantly.
Kiara took a deep breath at his threat. Lucius could be harsh sometimes, and even though there was nothing the man would do to harm Kiara, as Voldem0rt was her father, he would tell her father of how she was acting and so, Kiara mentally kicked herself at that response from Draco, perhaps she'd gone too far with her excitement of angering Draco in-lue of allowing him to anger her.
"What ever Draco, you tell your father what you will, but remember who it is that you will be bowing to when MY father finally releases my power on the world." She turned her head half towards the boy a very dark and devil-like appearance forming on her usual beauty, her eyes glinting with a silvery glow as her pupils dilated and elongated giving her eyes the look of a snake. "The Dark Lord's Shadow might decide she doesn't quite like you." She hissed then growled, the sound of her growl echoing through the common room, giving all who heard it a deep chill in their bones.
Kiara continued to half look at Draco, her eyes steadily on his own, certainly there was nothing she could do to harm him now, but no one could predict the future, not even her and she knew, as well did any who was one of the Dark Lord's followers, that once unleashed, the Shadow would be a devastating power.
Draco softly laughed. "Oooh. I seem to have hit a nerve. You are scared of my father. Haha," he said arrogantly. "Oh, and if you're trying to frighten me, maybe you should consider taking those acting classes. Because I'm not frightened..not one bit, by your foolishness."
Kiara rolled her eyes once more trying to dismiss his obvious aggression at provoking her again, she tried, and she took a deep breath even, trying to steady her boiling blood, bu tit was too much, he was so arrogant, such an ass she just couldn't help but allow him under her skin.
Kiara closed her book softly and then set it on the couch next to her softly before, faster than he would have been able to see, she was over the couch slamming into him and knocking him back into the book case behind him, her right hand closed harshly around his throat. "I may not be able to attack you with my magic Draco, but make no mistake about it, my hands work just fine to wring your pathetic neck." She growled between clenched teeth, taking no notice of the scurrying first years and the now growing crowd of onlookers as she pressed her thumb and forefinger deeply into the sides of his neck, just under where the jaw meets the ears, a pressure point that was really quite painful and would serve to make him pass out should she hold him there long enough.
"I do not fear that pathetic piece of work you call a father, nor do I fear you. You will find that I fear very little in this world, least of all Lucius Malfoy." She hissed as her fingers pressed harder and harder. "My father is perhaps my only fear in this world but I have learned to face my fears Draco, have you?" She asked through clenched teeth again. "I only fear my father for the reason that you know, I will not become what he wished and he fears that." She chuckled almost insanely as her fingers still pressed in harder. "Eh knows that if he doesn't win, then I will and when that time comes Draco you will have to make a choice because.." She chuckled again, a sound that actually made one of the onlookers scream in fright and several back away form the two. "I will have no problem killing you to get what I want in any shape or form, and I Will kill you Draco Malfoy, mark my words, come rain or shine, I will kill you one day for your harshness to me now, I do NOT forget and I WILL not forgive." She finished, giving his head a good knock on the bookcase as she allowed him to be free from her grasp once more before backing away.
"I will NOT be a weapon for your kind." She said quietly.
Draco stood in silence for a moment before speaking. "I...well..you..uh..I'm out of here!" he said trying to scurry away before Kiara pulled him back or made one last comment. The fear was obvious in his voice and run. Whether he would ever admit or not, he was indeed very scared by her death threat and he had no doubt that she would keep that promise.
Kiara growled loudly and then spun around looking at all the students standing around. "What are you looking at!" She yelled, "Don't you all have some place else you need to be?" She growled, and they all scattered in different directions, leaving Kiara standing alone in the common room.
"GGGGGGR!" She growled again. He had gotten to her and she had let him, and that just made her all the more angry, she started to pace back and forth through the common room muttering to herself about how stupid Draco was and how stupid she was for allowing him to get to her.
Ginny slid into the common room and smiled slyly at Kiara.
"I ran into a Slytherin first year. He said some crazy lady was yelling at them to get out of the common room." She grinned.
"So whats up, crazy lady?" She asked, walking over to where Kiara was pacing.
Draco had now ran into the boys dorm. He could hear Kiara growling and shouting. He smiled smugly at how angry he had made her. Yes! he thought to himself. Haha. I've finally gotten to her. He then peeked out from the door at her, still smiling to himself. He saw Ginny and rolled his eyes. "Oh! I cannot stand her. Ugh...Oh well. atleast I upset Kiara. Haha." He had so obviously forgotten all about Kiara's death threat to him.
"Somebody made you a bit mad. Kill them yet?" She asked, nonchalantly. She had seen Kiara worked up into an actual rage, and the anger she was displaying now wasn't anything compared to that. She smiled at the one person she was capable of fearing and one of the girls she thought of as a sister.
Kiara spun around and eyed Ginny and her pacing stopped. "Hi Gin." She said in short, her temper still brewing, but in seeing Ginny, begun to melt away shortly. "He's such an A*S!" She growled then, slamming one fist down on the back of the couch, a nice soft muffled POOF was heard as her fist hit the cushioned area. "And, no I didn't kill him, yet." Kiara then smiled a darkly evil type smile, though playfull all the same. "What brings you down to our humble dungeon Gin?" Kiara then asked, but then laughed slightly. "Oh, you probably knew something was up eh?" She stated more then actually asked the redheaded girl.
Draco continued to stand in the door of the boys dorm, peering out at Kiara & Ginny. He was still laughing to himself about how angry he had made Kiara. "I didnt kill him, yet" he said, in a nasal tone, imitating her. "Yet. Yeah right. Like she actaully would." Although he sounded very confident in saying all this, he was despartely hoping she wouldnt hear him.
Though no, Kiara couldn't hear Draco form down in the common room as she really wasn't tryingto the devise she used for listening to conversations elsewhere in the castle being up on her floor, under her bed someplace after she'd thrown it earlier durining the evening, she knew he was just up there, an somehow knew he was listening to her conversation with Ginny, she would have to be careful what she said to her friened with his ears about, as he would definately report it back to Lucius, whom would tell her father about it and then, there would be hell to pay, hell meaning Kiara would be punished to his full extent, if she said the wrong things.
Draco then sighed, getting bored of standing there. He then came from the boys' dorm and into the common room. He walked right past Kiara and headed towards the couch. "Hey Kiara," he said, with a smirk.
Ginny looked at Draco and scowled. She looked back to Kiara.
"Oh, him. If I were you I'd just kill him. Say he attacked you and we'll put it down as an accidental death." She smirked at him.
Kiara laughed, a dark and evil sound that wasn't her 'good side'. "yes, I realize that would be appreciated by many, only problem is, I would make a terrible mess of my robes..." She paused and looked down at Draco. "And then Lucius would have to by me knew ones, again." She paused again and then laughed slightly. "No, wait, that wouldn't be such a bad thing after all, perhaps I will indeed think on it." She finished, giving Draco a sneer and then turning to Ginny and smiling at her.
There was a short pause and then Kiara sighed. "Alas, I wouldn't want not have him around, who else would his and my father have to berate, if he wasn't here? The stories, I should really tell you some time." She raised a brow at Gin and then smirked at Draco.
"You mean the ones where they told you about what a failure he is to your father?" Ginny asked, feigning innocence. She smiled at Kiara, and ignored Draco. She had already shown him she would kick his butt if need be.
Draco just laughed. "You, neither of you, would hurt me. Haha," he said, with a sneer, although you could tell he was scared. "And if you did kill me, it most certainly would not be appreciated by many! Most everyone would mourn my death," he added.
"Already forgot about your beating?" She sneered back. The diffrence between them was that she wasn't scared.
Dracos face turned very red. He was becoming embarassed. "No. I mean..uh..er..um..beat me? Uh...You never beat me! At all!" There was a major amount of fear in his voice.
Kiara shook her head and sighed. "Gin, honestly, he's not really worth it, I mean, his worthless hide is going to be nowhere rather my father takes control or not." She stated quite seriously. "He hides behind his money, his father's reputation and as well it seems, the strength he has at being close to me all the time." She continued as if Draco wasn't even in the room with them. "Hell, if it wasn't for the FACT that my father was so d**ned closely connected to his, he'd probably been kicked out of the school by now, but alas, seeing as though we have to keep Lucius happy..." She stifled a giggle. "Our wittle Draco gets to continue his free ride." She finished with a largely dramatic sigh.
Ginny grinned at Kiara, made a face a Draco and looked back at Kiara.
"So, Kiara, what alls been going on with you lately?" She asked. partly to ignore Draco, and partly because she hadn't talked to Kiara in a long while.
"Well, yes Kiara," Draco said. "It will do everyone very much good to keep my father..and me..happy. But..oh yes, I am very much worth it. And I most certainly will not end up nowhere," he finished, matter of factly..and ignoring Ginny.
Ginny didn't even acknowladge that Draco had spoken. In fact, as far as she was concerned, he didn't exist at the moment. She had a knack for ignoring people compleatly.
"Ugh. Filthy stupid mudblood appreciater," Draco said, in reply to being ignored.
"Ugh. Filthy stupid mudblood appreciater."
Xaver scowled.
It had been a long day.
A filthy, rotten, shi++er of day, what with the almost overwhelming load of politics and monstrosities that war challenged, and, though the Fallen lord had yet to have lost a battle, he felt, in his own personal realm, that he'd had the wind beaten out of him. -- Xaver's home realm was at war with a neighboring realm, two sides of a similar blade, but seperated by a sharp edge of betrayal and hatred that leaked as far back as to his own great ancestry.
..And Xaver hated it.
He blamed himself, because in truth, the war was partially his fault. And though he'd paid his reparations a thousand times over, even, he was not a man to forget that all said carnage, all that dispair - was partially his own doing. His own mistake...
It was not a cheery thought to be condemned with, even if it had been over three years since the beginning of the war.
It haunted him.
Perhaps, that was why Draco's comment irritated him so.
Xaver appeared out of literal no-where, directly in front of him, his jaw clenched, and the depths of his deep blue eyes burning with an unspoken rage, and dark threat. He was a drastically good looking male, lean of body, compact - a whipcord of lithe strength and fierceness, his features prominant - he was a beautiful creature, but so that was in no way effeminate. He was clad in dark shoes, black pants, and a button-down, navy shirt that accented his eyes handsomely. A black cloak, thick, and made of material not from the world around them, rested upon his shoulders, the bottom-most hem skimming the ground at his heels.
He was one to easily draw gazes, and, had he been smiling, that scarily severe, sharp look of animal instinct would surely have dissapated.
But there was no smile.
No warmth to him even as blue fire traced the outline of his fingers, and then was gone, just as quickly.
"Boy, you had best learn your manners. For such atrocities, as do they even easily come out of your mouth, do draw attention."
Xaver brought his hand up, at his side, palm up, and for a moment, a flame, black as death and threatening of everything that had to do with it, licked wildly, before coiling about his fingers, and disappearing again.
"And said attention, I can assure you.."
His hands twitched, very slightly, the anger, the half-demon within him almost liking the confrontation, where the man in him stomped the excitement quickly. His eyes slowly flickered to meet the other's eyes.
"Such attention, you do not want."
Xaver nodded his head, once, sharply, then simply turned away from the other male, padding toward the girls, then stopping, after a few steps. He bowed, then when he straightened, the hellish look that had accented his gaze was gone, replaced by his old affectionate, boyish charm.
He nodded to Kiara, in greeting, before his eyes settled on Ginny, saying everything he could not word, even if for only at the moment. He smiled, a small, content smile.
"Ginny."
Draco simply laughed smugly and rolled his eyes. ::) "Riight. Well, as a matter of fact I do want that attention. If I get it from just expressing my thoughts...which are completely correct by the way. Mudbloods are filthy and disgusting. Not to mention, a disgrace," he finished arrogantly, with a smirk.
Xaver snarled slightly, turning on his heel and facing Draco.
"Says the racist, pompous prick."
Xaver folded his arms, and shook his head.
"Besides the Weasleys, and maybe Kiara, here, I do not know a single pureblood, or whatever you mortals call them, that are not in their own way filthy. Wasn't it your father who was just recently put in prision?"
He shook his head.
"I am almost pure Fallen. I know a lot of people like yourself, Draco - arrogant and spoilt. In your case, I say it's unfortunate. ..But inbreeding does that to people, does it not?"
Xaver scowled.
Draco stared at Xaver and dropped his jaw slightly. "How dare you speak of me, my father, or anyone else of my family in such a way! But I must say you're wrong. Did you say the Weasleys were not filthy? Ha. Yeah right....Have you met them? Or even seen them?...Oh and about my Father being put in prison, well that was just unfair..and uh..er..a mistake! But I guess I cant blame you too much for all you've just said. Like my father says, its just jealousy," Draco finished, trying to sound as confident as he had earlier.
Ginny raised her eyebrows at Draco.
"I'm filthy?" She half whispered, acting compleatly shocked. She shook her head.
"Hey, at least my hair isn't held down by grease because I never wash it." Ginny said, reaching up and tugging a strand of her red hair. It was something that even people who wanted her dead said was pretty. Few people outside of her family had hair like hers.
He almost laughed when the boy's jaw dropped. He'd forgotten so much, in all his time away. He'd forgotten what amusement was like, even if it was even so grim.
Xaver cast a glance Ginny's way, and almost found himself smiling.
How he'd missed her.
He watched her reach up and tug a lock of her own red hair, and he shook his head, just slightly, the dark blues of his eyes cooling, some of that anger disappating. Which was a good thing for Draco. A VERY good thing.
"Oh, I've seen them," he growled back at Draco, facing him again. "And though you have looked upon them, I know you NEVER have, truly."
He turned his head, and gave a small, barely-there smile.
"And they're not filthy in the least. Though, I may be a bit biased."
A small fraction of his old warm, joking nature returned into his tones for just a moment, and he winked her direction, before looking back at the boy, his features chilling once again.
"...Oh and about my Father being put in prison, well that was just unfair..and uh..er..a mistake! But I guess I cant blame you too much for all you've just said. Like my father says, its just jealousy.."
"If they've got a dark man in a dark cell, I can hardly call that a mistake."
Xaver shook his head, and smoothed down the front of his silken shirt, the contours of his finely honed abdomen rippling the surface. He looked up again.
"Jealous?"
He made a face, his expression darkening.
"Boy, I've nothing to be jealous of, of you. You think you've got money? I have a thousandfold of you bank's. You think you have power? I now am in power of a kingdom. You think you know people? I know people who know the gods themselves."
Xaver shook his head once more, steeling himself.
"No, I am not jealous of you. For those are the only things you have, and I can better you on all counts. -- What I envy? I envy families like the Weasleys'. I envy the trust and companionship I have seen here - and though I've only glimpsed it.. I know I've come across something far more powerful than wealth, and greed, and position. There are far greater things. Never judge someone by all that they have -- but by who they are when it's all done and gone."
Ginny tore her eyes from Xaver, which was a hard thing for her to do, and looked at Draco. She actually felt sad for this boy. He had no real friends and his family despised each other for some reason or the other.
Draco's face turned red, as he was now fuming with anger. "It was a mistake that they put my father in jail! But I do agree that he is a dark man. I look up to him so dearly for that. I can only hope that I will honor the Dark Lord as much as he does. And I must say, I am well on my way," Draco said, finishing with a smile. "And another thing, you should be very very jealous of me. I can tell you are, though. Everyone is. Oh and..one more thing for me to mention. The Weasley's are very much filthy. The lot of them. With there microscopic sized house, tattered books, and hand me down robes. How pathetic!," Draco ended with a smirk.
"Draco, I havn't worn hand-me down robes since I was a first year. All my books are new, and our house is actually quite large. It fits more than 10 people with room to spare. We updated when my dad got his new job. Besides that, while I agree that my brother Percy is a filthy git, Ron, Charlie and Bill are not in any sense dirty. Fred and George may be at times because of what they do, which is basically blowing stuff up, but that has nothing to do with us in any way." She knew her words were falling on deaf ears, but she felt she had to say it. If he was going to insult her, the least he could do was get his facts straight.
"Pfft. Whatever. You know, its really kind of pathetic how you seriously dont find your family filthy! Well, I'm sure you know it deep inside yourself but are just too ashamed to admit it but still..." Draco said with a smirk. "But dont worry. I understand you being jealous of my family. We have so much more than you and are that much better," he added, arrogantly.
Kiara had remained quiet throughout this exchange, something inside her was churning, something that wanted out very bad at the moment Xaver had appeared in the common room before them. It wasn't the same as what was known to be the "Shadow" no this was something much more insistent, much more strong that seemed to want to show itself when the Fallen had showed himself. It wasn't until Draco's last comment, his usual words that he spoke so often to hide his anger or frustration that Kiara seemed to come out of the daze she'd been in for the conversation at hand. Her emerald orbs turned and landed on Draco, her brother by adoption, the one person in this room who she both loved and despised all at one time.
"Hum..." She stammered, her voice still not quite caught up to her mind as of yet. "Draco, I live with your family, and that is no family but more of a place to keep dry and warm during the night. Ginny comes from a real family, one of which you and I will never have, for that, you should be jealous.' She stated with no real conviction in her voice, her emerald orbs dulled as if hiding behind some veil of darkness not seen there for some time now. "As for the wealth that you have, it means nothing more than you might be able to wear the fanciest clothing, eat the fanciest food and live in a hollow home, certainly, a huge and most beautiful place it is, but I have been to Ginny's home, and it is more comfortable, more pleasing and by far, a grander place to be." She finished, this time her voice ringing through brightly as her mind thought of Ginny's home.
"Draco, I am not asking you to accept what I am saying, only just stating the facts as they are indeed there. "I know I could no sooner make you change your mind on your views of Muggles than I could change my father's view on the world, or myself. However, what I am asking you, Draco Malfoy, is to trod carefully in these days to come, Be aware of who you want as friend, for when you make your bed, you will be expected to lay in it as well." She finished and then turned towards Xaver and smiled slightly as she inclined her head.
"I apologize, my mind was distant and I haven't even welcomed you properly." She started and then sighed. "Hello." She stated simply.
Ginny looked, puzzled, at Kiara. Hadn't she met Xaver before? She wasn't sure if the two had ever really known each other, since Kiara spoke so formally. She smiled, though, at Kiara's defense of her family.
Draco's face turned slightly red from anger and frustration. " Well, Kiara, as usual, you are entirely incorrect. Everything you've spoken about my house and family and most definetly the Weasleys house. Comfortable? Grander place to be? I'm sorry but I dont find cracker boxes too grand or comfortable," he smirked. "Oh and, my family is a real family. Best there is. And dont try and argue with me. You and I both know I'm right.. I always am," he added, arrogantly.
Ginny looked at him, silent for a moment, before she stepped over to him and slaped him across the face so hard it sent him spinning.
"For your information, the day Kiara is entierlly incorrect, is the day we're all dead. And, I DON'T LIVE IN A FU*KING CRACKER BOX!" Ginny's eyes flashed angrily, she could only put up with Draco for so long.
"Agh," Draco said, on the ground where he had been knocked down by Ginny's slap.
"No cracker box? Wow, could've fooled me. Ha...But you know, you should really learn to control that temper," he smirked, standing up.
"When you control your mouth, I'll control my temper, you piece of dirt!" She snarled, hitting him again.
"Ow.." Draco shouted, from the ground where he had been knocked again. "..There goes that temper again.. Oh, and I personally don't think my mouth needs controling at all," he added with a smirk. While he said all this, he kept his hand to his face to help with the pain.
Ginny growled and took out her wand, for some reason she was very angry, and only wanted to make him cry.
Draco looked from the wand, to Ginny, and then back to the wand. "Er..um..wh..whats that for?" He said all this still from his spot on the ground with his hand still to his face.
"You know, I'm not above hexing you while you're on the ground." Ginny growled, angrily.
"Eh..uh...yeah. Yeah I know," Draco responded, vioce shaking. Catching himself sounding so scared he added,"B..But thats only b..b..because you know you couldnt t..take me if I was standing and on my g..guard." It hadnt come out as brave as he planned. He continued to sit on the ground as he secretly wished he hadnt just smarted off to Ginny.
"Draco, I could take you if I were blind and had no hands!" She told him, shortly.
"Pfft...Yeah..Right," Draco replied, in a smug tone.
She kicked him. Not a light kick, but not one that would send him flying. Then she knelt and set the tip of her wand on his forhead.
"Draco, I have no problem hexing you while you're down, and I have no problem using unforgivable curses. Both of which I'll do if you...don't..shut...up!" She hissed the last part.
Cho saw Ginny and Draco lying on the floor and watched silently from the side a little eager to see Ginny hex Draco.
Kiara watched silently as Ginny released some of her anger out on Draco, it wasn't until her wand was set on his forehead and she openly admitted to not caring about using unforgivable curses that she stepped forward; Cho's presence did not go unnoticed. She gently bent forward, placing one hand lightly on Ginny's wand, in the center and closed her fingers just as softly and gently, her emerald eyes gliding form Draco's frightened pale orbs to Ginny's blazing orbs and she breathe din slowly, softly and quietly.
"He is not worth the trouble it would bring down on you sweetheart, let it go, he will receive his in the end, should he continue on this course." She stated in a very calm and soothing manner.
Something in Kiara radiated of angelic purity, her aura became as if visible to all, a glowing blue haze of soft light that radiated about her entire form to extend over Ginny's wand, and cover Draco's mouth.
Draco would find that he suddenly felt like he had nothing to say, not as though he couldn't speak, but instead, had no desire to do so. Ginny, despite her rage would begin to see what Kiara was saying truth, and her wand would suddenly feel as though it were too heavy a burden to lift any longer.
"Now, let us move away from one another, find our own topics to gossip about, and cease this silly banter that is getting us nowhere fast." She finished, the blue haze moving still about both the wand, and Draco's mouth, undulating as Kiara stood, leaning over the two of them, her eyes fixed on Ginny's as though she were some sort of angel form heaven pleading with the quarreling warriors of earth.
Ginny looked at Kiara's eyes, aware that she was right, from the very second she opeaned her mouth, this awarness was enforced by Kiara's strange enchantment. She sighed, then looked to Draco, before standing stright and twirling her wand before putting it away.
"Draco is very lucky to have you around, Kiara." She told her old friend. She sighed, shaking her head and paused.
"You are right, however. I have others more in need of wasting my magic on, than him." Ginny said, shaking her head, then once again, angrily this time. "I still have my bad temper, worse now only because I know more spells. Again, Draco is very lucky to have you around." She swatted at s wisp of hair, hanging in her face as though it were a pest, before looking back at Kiara.
"Thank you. For stopping me before I did something I shouldn't have. Not because I'd regret it, mind you. But because I'd be disgusted with myself for wasting the energy on him."
Draco watched all this from his spot on the ground. Once Ginny had finished talking,though, he stood up. He then simply walked away towards the boys' dorm without even a glance towards Kiara, none the less a word of appreciation. He merely acted as if she hadnt saved him at all.
Ginny waited for Draco to leave before she looked at the other three. She looked to Cho, then to Kiara, holding her gaze for several moments, then to Xaver, watching him the longest before she turned and mumbled, "I'll see you three later."
Mentally, Ginny blocked off access to her thoughts, and her feelings. She didn't want anyone checking in on her that way. If they were so intrested, they'd have to ask her somehow. A thought, a word, a letter for all she cared. She walked, tiredly, through the halls of Hogwarts, towards the Main Doors, then outside, where she walked slowly towards the trees of the forest. She rubbed her face with both hands, extremely tired now. Not because of Kiara's enchantment, but because of not sleeping for a long time.
"I think I need to get away from it all..." Ginny said to herself, softly.
Kiara remained silent through all of Ginny's words and to Draco's retreat. He hadn't had to say thanks, she didn't expect that of him, he was too proud and she knew it, besides, Kiara really wasn't quite Kiara at the moment now then was she?
A quiet smile etched on her lips once more as she gazed angelically over at Xavier and then to Cho she inclined her head and then turned and walked to the couch, picked up her books, the blue haze melting away slowly, and began to begin her studies once more without another word.
(( I skipped ahead a few minutes. I wanted to come back in. lol))
A few moments later, Draco came walking, well rather strutting, back into the Common Room. But he wasnt alone. He was surrounded by many people as he was bragging about his recent meeting with Ginny & Kiara. "Oh yes! They were both angering me alot!.....Until I pulled out my wand ofcourse.Then they were so scared of me. But me, being so nice, compassionate and caring, spared them from being so terribly cursed," he told them, very arrogantly. His crowd of followers all dropped their jaws and said "Wow.." in return to Draco's story.
"Oh, Draco! You're so great to have spared them like that!" one Slytherin girl said to him in awe.
"I know. I've been told," Draco replied. At this, he shot a look towards Ginny & Kiara and smirked.
Kiara continued reading silently though, her eyes began to glow slightly red, of course, no one could see them unless they were to have parted her long raven locks form in front of her face and looked.
The Slytherin Common room began to grow VERY warm, very quickly, too breath in the air was like breathing into a furnace, the backing on many a leather book even started to sweat as the temperature went from a comfortable 70 degrees, to a stifling 120 in less than two short breaths and was still rising when she lifted her head and turned to gaze, blazing, firy eyes at Draco.
"Care to show them just how quick you are with that little stick of yours dear?" She asked, her voice reverberating off the walls in the common room and coming at him from all directions as she spoke. "Have you forgotten already that I do not USE a silly little stick to take care of my business?" She purred.
"Uh..er..well..no..I havent forgotten.." Draco said, backing away. He then, though, gained some courage and walked up to Kiara so he could make a comment. "But I also havent forgotten that you cant do anything directly against me with your little stick at all, due to your uh..gift" he quietly smirked, nodding towards what donned around her neck.
Kiara's lips turned up into what might have been a semblance of a smile. She knew he would at some point remember that she could not harm him, directly, though he'd never in his lifetime be able to harm her as well, as she could defend herself quite nicely. Her upturned lips however stopped turning upwards and she growled slightly when he mentioned her 'gift', the red orbs that stood glowing dangerously flashed even more at her irritation and suddenly all the books in the shelves sprang from there resting places, flying out with harsh force, smacking Draco's little throng of believers squarely about the face and shoulders; they all started to scream and scatter until each one was out of the common room, leaving Draco and Kiara alone.
"And it seems we are alone now, my dear, dear brother..." She turned her glowing orbs to him as the temperature in the room remained at a steady 120 degrees. "Would you like to sit, talk with me?" She then asked, gesturing the seat next to her on the couch.
"No. No, I wouldnt," Draco said, arrogantly. "Seeing there is no one here to make me, I see no reason for me to even make a move towards that couch." He finished saying all this and began to slowly walk back towards the boys dorm. He smirked, knowing she would probably call him back.
Kiara took a long, deep cleansing breath and then closed her glowing orbs for a few moments, when she opened them again, they were no longer glowing as her fathers so often did but instead, her brilliant emerald gaze was what landed on his back. The temperature in the room began to slowly cool then and she sighed.
"Look Draco, honestly, I only wish to talk, nothing more." She started, her voice calm and almost pleasing. "You know I can't hurt you, and honestly, I really don't want to, I simply just wish to talk to you for a moment, is that to much of a request for your sister to ask?" She stated, her tone almost hurt.
Draco smirked as she tried to make him come back. Remembering that she couldnt really hurt him, Draco turned around and smiled arrogantly. He walked over to the couch and began to lounge, putting his legs up on the couch. "Hmph. Fine. So...what is it you wish to speak to me about?" he said, in a rather mocking voice.
Kiara smiled over at him, her eyes sparkling with delight at his return to the couch. "My dear, dear brother." She started. "I only wish to chat about this holiday, that is all." She told him as she moved his feet over and sided up close to him, moving her right arm under his left. "You know... my father is REALLY anxious to meet you. He has asked me to invite you to his humble abode this holiday break." She told him in all honesty. "He wanted me to be certain you got the message, and that is what I wished to speak with you about and why, I scared the rest away, they have no need to hear such things." She finished, now laying her raven colored head on his shoulder and turning her brilliant eyes up to look at him as her lips turned up to a truly warm smile. "He really does ever so want to..." She paused. "Get to know you." She finished.
Draco, who was still lounging, sat straight up at these words. "Really? Well, I can hardly blame him! If I weren't me, I'd want to meet me too. Haha. But..still..why is he so anxious?" he replied, pushing her head of his shoulder and her arm from under his.
Kiara giggled like a little girl when he pushed her away. "What, you don't like to cuddle with your sister?" She mockingly pouted at him, a truly mischievous look about her beautiful pale features.
She tilted her head to one side and regarded Draco for a few moments before straightening it again. "You know, you really are cute, when your mouth isn't in the way that is." She said more out loud to herself than to him exactly, just before she sighed and leaned back against the couch and crossed one long leg over the next, the now top most foot anxiously moving back and forth as her left hand closed and then opened, revealing that all too familiar fire orb she often played with like some dangerous toy that if dropped, would totally consume even all of Hogwarts, should she have a clumsy moment as she twirled it about her fingers and around her hand paying no mind at all, her emerald eyes were too busy regarding her foster brother.
"And so, he wants to know what my father wished of him now does he?" She questioned, though once more, more to herself than to Draco. "How should I know Draco, he just told me that you were to come along this time is all, I don't question him any more than anyone else would." She replied to him finally her eyes still boring into Draco's own, a very serious expression coming to her face now. "Draco look..." She started as that fire-orb whizzed about her hand. 'If you were to get sick, hurt bad enough, I am certain you wouldn't have to go." She stated. "Of course, I know how much you want to see him, the honor it must hold for you and all, so I wouldn't think for one moment that you wouldn't want to, but I...." She paused. "Just wanted to say is all." She finished as the orb came to a sudden halt in the palm of her hand and she closed her fingers about it and it went away. "Just like that." She whispered and looked away form him then.
"Wait. Y..You dont want me to go, do you?" Draco said, standing up. "What is your problem?!? You act as if I shouldnt go..as if there's something wrong with him!" He was rather angry but still returned to his place on the couch. "And no, I don't like to cuddle with my sister," he added.
Kiara gave a half laugh at his last comment, due to the fact that it had been a derogatory statement rather than a question. She no sooner liked to cuddle with him than he would with her, but loved to tease him none-the-less.
Her manner however became quite serious after that small laugh, and when Draco sat back down on the couch again. "No Draco, I don't want you to go, you are correct." She stated quite firmly. "I know you think that it would be the greatest thing in the entire world Draco, I know your belief's match his to a t, or almost, but he is NOT what you think..." She continued speaking to Draco, her words coming out with great passion, not anger, but indeed passion. "There IS something wrong with him, he is INSANE!" She then raised her voice at her brother, slightly and then it was her turn to stand up and pace a few times before returning to her seat on the couch again. "You really have no choice but to go to him Draco... I suppose I am just trying to postpone the inevitable, but I.." She took a deep breath and let it go slowly before continuing, her emerald gaze turning up to look upon him. She looked tired, worn and even sad, but there was something else in that look, something she'd never shown him before and that was fear. "...I don't want you to." She said, her gaze still holding on his, trying for all she was worth to make him understand without telling him anything that would put him in further danger. "There are plans, things you will find out too late. He's grown so strong, so very strong now that even I have a hard time..." She trailed off again. Her hand moving to the '[resent' around her throat, her fingers sliding around to the back and then her hand dropped to her lap once more. "Just, be aware when we are there Draco, and don't allow yourself to be fooled." She finished, now allowing her gaze to fall from his own.
Draco stood up once again to argue. "We? As in us? You're going,too? Ugh...Oh, but I wont be fooled by him. I'm not fooled easily. If you want me to listen to your words at all, speak in ways that I would want to hear. You were wrong about so many things!! Yes, it would..WILL be the greatest thing in the entire world, yes he IS what I think, no there's not ANYTHING wrong with him, and no he is NOT insane!" Draco shouted, returning, once again, to his place on the couch. "You're entirely incorrect about him," he added, firmly.
Kiara let him rant, allowed him to scream at her, she knew he would, their views on her father and his beliefs along with the way he handled things were entirely different, but then, Kiara KNEW her father, knew just what exactly the crazed wizard would do, could do, Draco hadn't even the inkling of what Voldem0rt was about, he only knew, saw and heard what he was meant to hear, see and think about him.
"Of course Draco, of course, you are correct, and I am wrong." She replied in a dull tone. "There is that what you want to hear from me?" She asked with a raised brow. "I love my father more than anything in this world and would trust him with my life." She continued in that same flat tone. "And yes, of course I will be there, I am always there Draco, I am always with him when he commands it, I have no other choice in the matter, now do I?" She responded then to his flabbergasted reply to her being there too, her fingers toying with the choker about her neck for a spare moment before she continued. "I see him almost on a daily basis, you know..." She then confessed, trailing off and turning to gaze at the walls, where the books and trinkets form her outburst had flown off the walls. "He wishes to see you is all Draco.... Make you into something more, or what he would see as more. Look, just be careful and don't do anything too hasty, alright?" She then stated more than asked, knowing she' d more than likely get another outburst from him again.
"Be careful and don't do anything hasty!"Draco replied, mocking her." Ugh!....Well, dont worry, I won't, but even if I did, it wouldn't matter!" He was shouting now and standing up once again. "Look, I'm not a child! I know when I'm being fooled and I know what's good for me! When will you stop acting like he's too dangerous for me to even have much to do with?!?" He was furious, but came back once more to his place on the couch beside Kiara.
Kiara simply smiled at Draco after his little rant and then she sighed softly. "Well, perhaps if you didn't run around the school acting like a child, then perhaps people would stop talking to you and treating you as one." She said firmly, her emerald eyes turning on him once more.
Kiara was silent for a few more moments regarding the situation as well as Draco's current mood. "Draco..." She started and then poof, out came that fire orb once more as instantly, she began, subconsciously spinning it around her hand, over and under it whirred at amazing speed, looking as not more than a simple ring of fire solid, around her fingers and wrist. "I only say these things..." She paused again, not believing the next words that were about to come out of her lips. "Because I care about you, so yell and scream at me all you want, but just know, that someplace in this little black heart of mine, you do have a place, and I do indeed worry..." She finished and then looked away from him and stood up and crossed the room, the books on the floor flying back to their resting places on their shelves as she passed them.
Kiara came to a halt before a silver-lined mirror and looked into it, placing her hand on her choker again, almost as if admiring the shimmering pendant that hung from it, her index finger tracing the outline of the snake coiled up there and then, she turned and looked over at Draco again. "You know, perhaps there is more to you than I see, or than you allow me to see Draco, I may be wrong about you..." She smiled softly. "Or, at least I hope there is." She finished and then returned her gaze to the mirror again and her choker.
"Wh..What's that supposed to mean?!?" Draco shouted angrily at her, as he stood up once more. He stomped over to where she was standing. "I'm perfect just the way I am" he added, smugly.
That was it, she had enough of his arrogant rant about how perfect he was, didn't he realize that by now, with no other ears around, he didn't HAVE to be such an ass, didn't he realize that she knew him better than that.
Kiara whirled around from her mirror gazing, her emerald orbs flashing angrily at him, her fingers curled up in fists and she growled once, her face right up to his, their noses almost touching. "You STUPID ADDLE BRAINED TWIT!" She yelle din his face and then growled again,, still in his face. "You don't get it do YOU!" She yelled again, though not so loudly as the first time. "You simply are a stupid if you think that your little act of being so perfect works in front of me Draco, you are no more perfect than I am for crying out loud." She continued, though no longer yelling, simply speaking through gritted teeth. "I guess I was right about you then, I was right that you are as shallow minded and pathetically stupid as I had feared, you don't have an inkling of what you are running off to find, you have no idea what lies ahead of you and you are too stubborn to allow yourself to honestly listen to me, hear what I am saying..." She growled and then turned away back toward the mirror again and became silent for a few moments. "I hope you aren't planning on trying to bite off more than you can chew Draco, because this isn't just some dangerous spell you are playing with here, this is much, much larger than anything you can imagine.... Trust me, I know..." She finished in a near whisper.
Draco stood absolutely still, looking frightened, for just a moment, then stepped away from her a bit. "Look, I don't care what you have to say! I know what I'm doing here! I'm going to see him and I'm going to do whatever he asks me to!" He wasn't yelling, but merely speaking loudly with force. "It's not up to you to protect me. There's nothing for you to protect me from..and I'm perfectly fine without your advice." Draco stepped forward a few steps and smiled," So, when do I get to visit him? I mean, as you said, he's very anxious to get to know me."
Kiara turned back around slowly, she wasn't actually angry with him so much as she had been frustrated with him, even she had to admire his self confidence, even if it was foolish of him. She smiled a contented sort of smile when she once more faced him, this time, taking a deep breath before speaking.
"Well, this is the Holliday week, we will be off to go and see him this weekend..." She paused and grinned an almost sadistically snotty grin, one that any sister would give a brother they were about to put down. "That would be in two days, in case you've forgotten how to tell time in the short while your brain has been befuddled with delusions of grandeur." She added and then patted him almost teasingly as well as lovingly on his right cheek. "Think you can wait that long, or do you thin k you will burst out at the seems before hand dearest brother?" She questioned as she lifted a fine brow, momentarily in his direction. "Oh, and not that I should have to tell ou, but this is one thing I wouldn't go bragging to my friends about, if I were you, he'd not like that so much." She put in at the end.
Draco got slightly angry but tried to keep his cool. "Ugh. Fine, I won't tell anyone. But only because the Dark Lord wouldn't like it, not because its your advice," he added, with a smirk. He then glared at her. "And don't call me your 'dearest brother' or anything of the such. You're really and trulynot my sister."
Kiara laughed, it was a kind of tired yet amused sort of laugh as amused she was indeed. Draco had absolutely no idea what lie in store for him and his arrogance would most certainly gain the better of him in this one. Perhaps it will tame him a bit, be good for him She thought to herself and looked at him with a strange grin before turning away again as she did, the remainder of the common room reset itself and her fire orb disappeared again..
"Good night Draco, relax and have a good two days, be rested and ready for a week you won't soon forget." She told him and turned and began making her way slowly, and most tiredly towards the Girls dorm rooms.
"Trust me, I'll be rested and ready. And there is no way I will ever forget this week," Draco said, with a smug little grin. He then began to head to the Boys' Dorm, anxious to get some rest.
Kiara shrugged. "Ya, I am certain you will." She said in a whisper before making her way into her room where she lay down on her bed, staring up at the ceiling and sighed.
For how long she had laid there she wasn't certain, and must have dosed off at some point because when she looked around, the beds were full of other girls all sleeping happily with their dreams of whatever boy they liked or whatever the rest dreamed about. She woke because her throat was burning from her choker, her father obviously wanted to speak to her and so, she got up, looked around and slipped on her shoes, which she had kicked off just before laying down and then silently crept form the dorm and down the stairs back into the common room. She glanced up at the clock, it said it was about 2 in the morning and she sighed. "Alright father, but this had better be good." She whispered as she turned towards the porthole, hoping she hadn't woken anyone up on her way down.
But Kiara had indeed woken someone up. Draco come walking quietly but quickly from the Boys' Dorm in time to see Kiara exiting the porthole. "Out for a late night stroll, are we?" Draco sneered, catching up with her. "I know exactly where you're going," he added, in a rather smug tone.
Kiara stopped, just before the porthole and turned her head about to look at him with her sleepy yet irritated eyes. "Well good morning, dearest brother." She said to him, knowing how he hated her to use any sort of endearment when she addressed him, but doing so as she was feeling rather puckish at the moment. "You want to come along, I am certain he wouldn't mind at all, or at least I don't' think he would, get an early start in your meeting?" She suggested.
Kiara hated the fact that she knew Draco held her father in such high regard, was he even aware that Voldem0rt would only use him for his own self amusements? She wasn't sure he knew that, she felt as though Draco would see meeting her father as a great honor with hopes of grandeur along the way, though this would be the furthest from the truth, of course, Voldem0rt didn't work that way, all he wanted others for was to do his dirty work, and that was it.
A grin spread across Draco's face as he replied,"Yes. An early start on the meeting would be wonderful." He pushed her slightly to get her out of his way so he could go through the porthole first, then added," And dont call me brother."
Kiara shook her head in a manner that suggested he was an idiot and then stepped out of the way to allow him to pass. "As you wish...love." She returned, just to get under his skin. She wasn't above his own petty games at aggravating him, as a matter-of-fact, she quite enjoyed it, from time to time.
She stepped through the porthole after him and then stopped behind him. "Well then, you in such a hurry, lead the way." She grinned up at him, knowing he hadn't the slightest clue as to where they were going.
This made Draco slightly angrily. "You know I dont know where to go!" he said, becoming aggravated. "Know take us there. Hurry! I mean, as you said earlier, he is very anxious to meet me." He finished this sentence with a smug little grin.
Kiara grinned, he had snapped at her and that was what she had wanted, for him to become aggravated with her, she thought perhaps she would stop, but she didn't/
"Well, it just seemed that you wanted out so badly and you pushed me behind you so I thought perhaps you knew what you were doing and where you were going Draco, I apologize, dearest Brother..." She emphasized the brother. "If I did find you as smart as you thought you might be." She responded and then walked forward, bumping his shoulder rather hard on her way past and giving him a snide grin.
Draco dropped his jaw slightly at all Kiara had just said ti him. He was about to argue a huge rant, but decided against it. Instead he just mumbled," I'm not your brother," under his breath and began to follow her.
Kiara smiled as she continued to lead Draco down the quiet hall through the school. She paused for a moment and did something with her right hand, barely noticeable, her fingers moving slightly and then she continued. No one, not a soul in the castle seemed to be about, it was so quiet, one might have thought it empty, save for the two wanderers creeping through it halls. They reached the huge double doors that would lead them out side, and as Kiara stepped towards them, they opened wide before her and she stepped through and out into the chilly night. There was always advantages at being a sorceress as compared to a simple witch, she never had to use her wand for starters, though when she did, the effect was quiet scary. Dumbledores insistence that she learn to use one had become quite a step up in her power, making her even more so as the years had gone by.
She stepped onto the grass and peered behind her and watched as Draco followed, the double doors behind them closed with a sort of finality and she smiled a little dark smile at her Foster brother and then turned towards the forest.
When they reached the edge, she stopped and waited for a few moments, the entire time she never once said a single word to Draco, her mind busy on listening and less on talking.
"This way." She finally said to him and she stepped into the forest to their right and continued down a deer trail, or whatever manner of creature trail it had been, she didn't stop to wonder. They seemed to walk on forever, the trees became thicker and the ground softer, until they were plunged into total darkness. At this point, she opened up her right hand and a small bauble flew up into the air around them, bathing the two in a golden light to see by. "Just a little further." She whispered to Draco. And soon, they stepped into a small clearing. "We wait here." She told him and she stood perfectly still, her emerald gaze watching the ground.
Draco looked around in awe, utterly amazed that he was was actually here. "Really?" he said, quite happily. "For how long do we wait?" He obviously becoming extremely anxious at this point.
The clearing they stood in was small, perhaps four feet across in any direction, they stood there, Kiara remaining silent, not even bothering to answer Draco's excited responses to her short commands. She just stood there, eyes to the ground, waiting. Total darkness surrounded them, if not for Kiara's bauble shedding that small amount of golden light, they'd not even be able to see their hands in front of their faces. For How long they waited, might have seemed an eternity to Draco, but to Kiara, it moved far to quickly, ten minutes went by, then 12 and suddenly all the creatures in the vicinity grew perfect still, not a sound, only their breathing could be heard.
There was flash and a sound sort of like sucking air and then, there he was, Lord Voldemort stood alone, no Deatheaters behind him, totally alone. His snake-like red orbs stood on Kiara for a moment, which did not move, simply kept her head down, looking at the ground, or her feet, who knew. Then his eyes turned and landed on Draco.
"Mr. Malfoy, what a pleasant surprise." He stated in his dark tone as he walked past Kiara and over towards Draco.
"Y-yes, my lord. Kiara told me you wanted to see me. I know this is earlier than you expected, but..I caught Kiara sneaking out of the common room to see you and..I thought I would join." Draco said, as he stood amazed to be in Voldemort's presence. "She said you were anxious to see me. What is it that you want me to do for you? I'll do anything, anything at all," he added, in such awe that he now paid no notice to the fact that Kiara was still even there.
Voldemort stood, looking down on Draco as if he were some new treat for him to taste and then after a few moments of silence, he chuckled slightly, a sound that was more eerie than pleasant. "So, you thought you would make it your duty to follow her out here, did you..." it was more of a statement than a question. "I see, well yes indeed I was most anxious to meet you young Malfoy, your father has served me well over the years, but I feel his time is growing ... stale." he then stated, he too seemed to have forgotten about Kiara, seemed.
Kiara stood just as she had the entire time, totally still and totally silent, she once rolled her eyes, though neither would have noticed, at the way Draco was acting. But that was really all the movement she would give, she was actually hoping that Draco would take her father's attention away for the entire time she, they were there, but she didn't let her hope get up too high.
"Yes, yes I might have something for you to do, perhaps instead of fighting my daughter.." She started; turning his head slightly to gaze at Kiara for an instant before bringing his ghastly gaze back to Draco again. "I will ask you to take this to your school, place it someplace near to the Great Hall." HE stated, reaching into his cloak and bringing out a tiny stone, it looked like any other stone, save perhaps the even tinier inscriptions on it that covered the stone completely, and handed it to Draco.
Kiara animated then, her head snapped up and she glared at Draco. Anything her father wanted in the school could not be good news.
Draco saw Kiara's glare towards him but decided it better to just ignore her. He then turned his attention back to the stone and simply stared at it for a moment, still in awe. "Yes, my lord," he said, as he finally took the stone from Voldemort's hand and held it in his own. He said nothing more;he was thinking deeply about all of the possibilities of what the stone may do.
Kiara just realized why it was Draco her father wanted to see so badly, why it was Draco and no one else. She growled outwardly, making her father's lips turn up into a semblance of a smile. She couldn't touch Draco, no matter how hard she tried, Draco would do exactly what the Dark Lord wanted of him with out question and there was nothing Kiara could do to stop him, save for trying to talk sense into him.
"So, you've figured it out have you Kiara." The Dark Lord said in his snake-like voice, still watching Draco, an expression of pure satisfaction written on his features, as he watched Draco tumble the small stone about in his hand.
"I should have thought about it earlier... shouldn't have let him come." She growled though not in answer to her father but simply thinking out loud.
Kiara then narrowed her eyes at her father's back, a look of total defiance creeping over her now darkened features. "What's to keep me from removing it once he's placed it." She sneered at him, turning now to face the two of them.
Voldemort laughed and turned to look into his daughter's eyes. "You can't touch it." He replied calmly. "No one but Draco and myself can, do you think I would be so stupid as to allow an opportunity like this go to waste by allowing you to ruin it for me?" He nearly purred.
Voldemort had what seemed to be extraordinary patience when dealing with Kiara, anyone else, Draco would know, he's have simply cursed for such defiance.
"Go now young Malfoy, place that stone deep within a crack someplace within the walls so that it will not be found. DO it now, before Kiara comes along she doesn't need to know where it is." He told him. "This is your chance to make your Lord proud of you boy, go."
"Draco, don't do it. he doesn't care about you, please don't, think of your friends.." Kiara pleaded with him but was cut short with a choking sound as her choker tightened about her neck to silence her.
"What are you talking about?" Draco said, as he turned to face Kiara. "You're lying. You're just jealous. He asked me to do this, not you. I'm that much better." He finished speaking with a smug little smile, as he began to turn away and head back towards the castle.
You can think what ever you want but i think Draco is amazing! ;) ;)

Well, I would say that Tom Felton, the guy who plays Draco's charactor, is hot....but to say the actual charactor in a book (which doesn't include illustrations of the charactors) is would be a strange thing indeed...
JK Rowling so often describes him as someone who is so full of arrogance that he is ugly simply because of that. So I wouldn't say Draco Malfoy is hot. Because we don't know what the real Draco (from JKs mind) looks like....
