Curtis walked into the commen room and sat down on a couch. He was new to this school, and knew no one. He streached out on the couch and closed his brown eyes. His brown hair was a bit messy, but he didn't seem to mind. He wore the school robes, and looked to be about 17 years old.
He laid with his eyes closed, thinking about his old school. He missed a few of the girls. he was somewhat of a ladies man. He wondered how Hogwarts made them.
Lavy pushed open the door and walked in. She was looking pretty much like always.
Her long light brown hair was pulled up into a messy ponytail. The opened windows let in light that bounced off her chestnut skin. She wore white boho shorts with a long red shirt that matched her sporty shoes. Her crystal blue eyes blinked up at the new arrival. She smiled at him.
"Hello, stranger. What are you up to?"
(welcome to hpff)
Curtis opened his eyes to stare at the pretty girl in front of him.
"Uh.......hi?"
He sat up and looked at her, now wondering if all the girls here were pretty. He hadn't really looked around yet.
(thanks)
"Hi." she said again. "I guess you're the new student. They told me you were coming I just didn't expect you so soon. Well I guess I better show you around. Unless someone already has?"
(no problem, I love meeting new people)
"Not really. Some teacher did this morning, but I wasn't really awake." He smiled at her, his brown eyes lighting up some.
"And yeah, I'm the new student."
"Yeah I remember that walk when I first got here. It was so boring. I make it much more interesting, if I do say so myself." Lavy walked over to him and held out her hand, not to shake, but to take.
"I'm, Lavy by the way."
Sarah came running in a into Lavy.
"Oh I'm so sorry. I needed to get a book before I was late to a class." Sarah said as she then turned to the person beside Lavy.
"Hi there you must be knew I'm Sarah. If you ever need anything tell me."
"well I better go get that book from Siruis room."
"I can get you out of class if you want me to." Lavy said lighly pulling Curtis to his feet.
"You would do that." Sarah siad happy. She did not want to go to class.
"What is the catch though. What do I have to do."
Cho came into the room.
"Hey Lavy, and Sarah....and umm..." Cho said uncertain of who the stranger was.
"I'm Curtis. Nice to meet you all."
He smiled sheepishly, taking a keen intrest in these girls. He enjoyed girls, and especially enjoyed looking at them. He looked to Lavy and nodded.
"Do you mind showing me around?"
Draco walks in, looks to Curtis, and simply rolls his eyes. ::)
"You must be the new kid. Gryffindor...ugh. Well, I'm Draco Malfoy. And before you do something you'll regret, let me give you some advice: Don't talk to me, Don't bother me, and just stay away from me. I dont know whether you're a filthy mudblood or one of their stupid appreciaters, but either way you're not welcome around me," he said to Curtis, arrogantly and rudely. Now that Draco had 'layed down the law', he began to walk away.
(By the way, welcome to HPFF)
"Curtis that is just malfoy. He is the top slythern that everyone hate." Sarah siad smiling she hated how Draco picked on her kind.
"You would not want to hang around with him anyway. Hey if Lavy here don't have time. Just give me a hollor. I would love to show you around the school." Sarah then smiled she thought this new kid was cool and cute for his age.
"Hey if you every need anything. Let me know I try to help out where ever. So if you ever need some candy or drink of some sort I can find it. " Sarah then pulled her hair into a pony.
"hint for if you are looking for me. Lavy can tell you it is true. I normally have a pad drawling I'm actually great at it. I'm in Ravenclaw." Sarah then laughed Ravenclaw were normally good at magic and if you knew her you would laugh too.
Lavy rolled her eyes as Draco passed. "You don't have to be an ass Draco. No one wants to get anywhere near you anyways."
"Ok, Curtis, where do you want to start?" she said pulling him outside the door.
"Thanks Sarah." Curtis said, as he was pulled out the door. He smiled at Lavy and shrugged.
"Where ever is fine with me."
"Oh, I almost forgot. I have to do something at my house really fast. Do you want to tag along, since you don't have classes for the rest of the day. It's just a quick thing. You can stay if you want I'll only be a minute."
Curtis shrugged, "Are we allowed to leave?" He asked, tilting his head to the side in puzzlement.
Lavy laughted. "Yes, we are. But don't make a habit of it. I'm am such a bad influence. But anyways do you want to?"
Sarah decided that since She was gotten out of class by Cho that the best place for her to go would be the lake.
Sarah headed down there and took her hair down and wore it completely down something she never did.
"Well lets see." Sarah siad as she took out her paper. She then went to drawl the lake with the Mermaids and Squid sitting together towards the top and the Mermaids were smiling and singing.
"Wow I love this one. I love being nice. Curtis sound so sweet." Sarah siad as she sat there thinking about what just happened.
"Sure, I'll go with you." Curtis said, smiling at her. He already liked this school.
"Ok then." Lavy said happily.
The next second they where in front of a house. Well it was more like a castle. It was huge. The outside gates stood behind the, increased with gold and silver. As they walked up the marble path to the front door the gardens came into view. Every flower imaginable was in the gardens, bees and birds flow in and out of the trees.
Lavy pushed the heavy oak doors open. The inside made the outside look like a slum. Gigantic black and white pillar's held the roof up. Each one shimmered in the light. They all lead up to a grand staircase. Like the rest of the floor it was made of maple wood and the sweet smell came up off it.
As they were leaving, Draco smirked at what all they had said to him. "Whatever. This school would be nothing without me," he said, arrogantly as he began to leave.
"Wow. This is a great place!" Curtis said, looking around in amazment. It was awsome.
"Thanks, my ex fiance built it." Lavy turned to see how Curtis would react.
"Fiance? Just how old are you?" he questioned, giving her a glance. He was half joking. He didn't find it too surprising to have been engaged. He'd almost been engaged before, but that was a set up his mom had made, and he hadn't liked the girl.
Lavy laughed. "Yeah, fiance. His name is Neo. And by the way he does still live here so you know." Lavy turned around and started up the stairs.
"And hasn't anyone ever told you, you're not suppose to ask a girl her age?"
"Been told so many times. Never heeded it. Never wanted to. I like knowing about people." He said. Curtis grinned at her back before following her.
"Should I be scared that he still lives here? Is he big and burly and mean?""
Lavy smiled. "No...and yes. He's a little older then you I guess and a little bigger. He's sweet, most of the time. But he can get pissed, and when he does you better watch your back. I don't think he'll mind you being in his house though, he has other things on his mind."
"I'm only 17...how much older? And you still havn't answered my question." He laughed at her.
"He's 19. And I'm 16. Happy now?" She said poking him in the stomach.
"yup!" he laughed when she poked him.
"And so you know I'm not above tickling a girl." he said, smiling a bit.
Lavy gasped. "No! Please, anything but that!" she poked him again.
Not knowing where Lavy went Sarah decided to go to the three broom sticks. Lavy always showed up there after a tour.
"I'd like one butterbeer." Sarah siad to the person before she sat down on a sit and started to drawl kids running past.
He laughed and without hesitating started tickling her.
Lavy playfully punch him in the chest. She hated beinging ticked because it tickled so much. 'Ok, ok. I'll do anything, just stop." She said between laughs.
Curtis stepped back and grinned, charmingly.
"Alright, since you are that despret!" he said, laughing.
"Desperate! I'll show you desperate." Lavy tackled Curtis to the ground.
"Ahhh!" He yelled, going down. he was laughing though. He rolled out from under her quickly and laughed.
Lavy laughed. "Ok, time to get back to why we're here." she started to get up.
"Aw, come on. We're having fun!" he said, sighing, and sitting up on his elbows. He grinned at her.
"You don't mind flirting with me in my ex's house? You are shamless, child." she said sarcastically.
"Why should I mind. You said he was an ex....besides that, I'm older than you!" He said, grinning at her. He didn't care, he liked flirting.
"What's your point, I call everyone kid or child. Old habit's sorry." Lavy laided back down next to Curtis and closed her eyes. "So tell me about yourself."
"What would you like to know?" He asked, leaning back again and starring at the ceiling.
"I don't know tell me about your family, let's start there."
"Well, my dad works in the ministry, and he's pretty cool. My mom stayed behind in Russia. Her and my dad got divoreced five years ago. I don't have any brothers or sisters, unless you count a stupid brat born to my mother and her new husband." He sighed. It wasn't that he had a real problem with his little half sister.he just thought she was spoiled rotton.
"What about you?"
"Ummm, I had four brothers, all older then me but they went missing when I was 8 and then when I was 9 my parents where killed. Other then Neo and my freinds I don't really have anyone. Makes life simple. If I die in a fight not that many people will miss me." Lavy paused. " Do I sound as pathetic as I think I do."
"yeah, but it happens." He said, laughing. He turned on his side so he was looking at her.
"How'd you get engaged?"
"Oh, I knew he was going to come up again. Why are you jealous or something already?"
"nope. I don't get jelouse. I get even." he shrugged, "I just want to know the story. I'm intrested."
"Well, Neo and I where in Australia and we where just trying to relax. Since we are running a country it can get very frustrating. We where on the beach and the sun was setting and right before it disappered, he asked me. Why so interseted. taking notes?" she said with a giggle.
"Maybe. You never know." he said, laughing. He smiled at her giggle.
"So do you want to see what I do when I'm not at school?"
"Ohhh, kinky!" he said without thinking, then laughed. "Sorry, my mouth speaks before my mind lets it. Sure."
Lavy smiled. "No worries here. I do things like that all the time." she leaned over and kissed him on the cheek. "Like that."
"A bit impulsive, arn't we?" He said, tsking like an old aunt. he grinned though. "I don't mind. Sometimes you have the most fun being impulsive."
"You have no idea how impulsive I can get." she said with a sly smile.
"Oh really, now? And how impulsive can you get?" He said, grinning at her. Lavy was an intresting person.
Lavy rolled over and pushed Curtis so he was flat on his back. She sat up and then leaned in so that their lips where centimeters apart. "Very, very impulsive." she whispered.
"Ah, I see. Well, impulsive is as only impulsive does." He whispered back.
"Yes, you are right about that one. But, you are still a child. I wouldn't want to compromise you in any way shape or form."
"And I, someone whose been compromised, don't want to corrupt a nice young lady." he told her, smiling.
"Do you want me to leave so you wont be tempted anymore?" she leaned in closer.
"the thing is, I like corruption!" he told her, a gleam in his eye. He stayed still, wondering if she would actually kiss him or not.
"Would you like me to kiss you?" she said hearing his thought
"That all depends on whether you would like to kiss me." He said, smiling. Times like this was when he got witty.
"I would. But I like to keep them asking for more. So no kissing today, kid. " she started to stand up again.
"If you say so, girly" He told her, picking himself up and smiling at her.
Lavy hopped to her feet. "Just remember, I am 'uncorrupted' as you put it. No funny business." she took his hand just as all the lights went out.
The room was pitch black dark. "I saw that one coming a mile away, love." Lavy yelled out to some unseen person. "It's Neo." she said to Curtis as she slowly lead him up the stairs. "Ignore him, he's just jealous."
"Alright. I'll ignore him. Want to make him even more jelouse?" he asked, nudging her and laughing.
"Oh? How?" Lavy flicked a swich and the lights turned back on.
"Just being a boy, " he told her, laughing.
"Now you're tempting me."
"So?" he asked, smirking as he followed her.
"I still don't know if you want to kiss me."
((is it just you two....I don't even know where you guys are...))
(we are at lavy's house)
"I told you. That all depends on whether you'd like me to kiss you. I'll live either way." Curtis told her.
"So you don't want me to kiss you?"
((oh man, then I'll go find Lavy...))
Cho was walking around looking for Lavy when she got to her house. She saw Curtis and Lavy sitting and turned to leave.
"I didn't say that." Curtis said, raising his eyebrows.
"But you didn't say you did, so I'm assuming that you don't want me to."
Cho was wondering what they were doing so she just left.
"Assuming is what gets people into trouble." Curtis muttered.
"Listen, I like girls, and I don't have a problem kissing any of them. As long as they don't think I'm in love with them just because of one silly kiss. I mean, I don't see anything wrong with kissing someone even if you don't like it. Kissing is fun. So are other things." He told Lavy, shaking his head.
"Why is everyone so caught up on love?"
(sry about the long post)
((that's not that long....I'm just waiting for a perfect time to enter....LOL))
Lavy laughed. "Love? This has nothing to do with love kid. It's a kiss like you said. Don't assum that if you kiss me or don't kiss me that must mean something life changing for me. You don't have to kiss me, it's ok. And don't worry, I know you like girls."
(yeah your post wasn't even close to long)
Curtis scowled, "I meant...never mind." He shrugged, his scowl dissappearing. He smiled at Lavy, then.
"So, whats next? I'm still waiting for my tour."
"Oh, yes. Come on then." Lavy started down the staris. "We might was well started from the outside in." She waved her hand and the heavy door swung open.
"Alright then." He said, following her.
Lavy moved into the gardens. "This was the only thing that was here when we first got here. It was all dead but witha little love we got it back." She picked a rose. And countinied walking. "I still have no idea how long it was dead for."
"Cool." Curtis said, nodding.
"I'm boring you aren't I?"
"no. Not at all." He told her.
"You're a very bad lier you know."
(I'm going to breath life into this rp ok?)
"If you say so." He said, grinning.
(as you may!)
Lavy suddenly stopped. "You you feel that?" she asked
"Feel what?" He asked, confused.
Lavy looked up above them at the clear blue sky. "There's a change. In the wind." Lavy looked at him. "Something's wrong."
