((Yes, this is an open RP. Yes, you may join. Yes, I have an idea what I want to do with it. And no, most of you cannot prevent it.))
Ginny sat in the forest, her head upon her knees. Vibrations of power rolled off her, everyone could feel it, even at the school. A boy stood in front of her, watching her.
"Gin...c'mon. I..." He stuttered, awkwardly.
"Shut up, Conan." Ginny's voice was cold with anger. She didn't look up at him, and her red hair fell in waves over her black hoodie and jeans.
"I didn't know it would happen!" Conan suddenly exploded. In a flash, Ginny had him against a tree by his throat, and he struggled, pulling at her fingers which weren't cutting off his breath, but were hurting his neck.
"Of course you didn't know, you pathetic excuse for a man!" Ginny snarled, inches from his face. Despite her anger and annoyence, her face was still beautiful, her eyes most of all. Conan couldn't stop looking at them. Ginny growled, lowly, "You deserved to be let there! You should have died, you worthless being!"
Cho felt great anger coming from the forest alone, she was amazed that Ginny hadn't noticed it yet and checked up so she decided to do it for Ginny.
Conan continued pulling at her fingers, a useless struggle. Ginny picked him up into the air and threw him.
"d**n you!" She told him, her words low and her voice colder than ice. Her eyes flashed, a sure sign of anger, "I should just kill you! What good are you?" She cried out the last part, angrily.
"Ginny, it's not my fault!" Conan yelled back. Ginny's eyes flashed at him and he swallowed, hard, but didn't look away from her. It was a true show of bravery for him. Or stupidity.
"It's very much your fault. If you hadn't run away scared none of this would have happened!" She told him, harshly.
Cho went to the forest and saw a man in the air and then he had fallen to the ground. She heard Ginny's harsh, angry voice.
"And if you hadn't divorced me, I wouldn't have had to run away!" Conan yelled back, forgeting that Ginny was perfectly capable of killing him.
"If you weren't planning to kill me, I wouldn't have divorced you, idiot!" Ginny snarled back at him, taking a small step towards him. Her hands glowed with blue electricity, and she was terrifyingly angry at this person she had once loved.
Conan didn't care, he stood up, growling softly at her, "And if you hadn't been such a bi*ch I wouldn't have wanted to kill you!"
((I forgot to mention, this is a continuation of the Argument RP, in a sense. It's the day after that one.))
((oh I see....you have a plan...well I'll try and go along with it....))
Cho was ready to leave but couldn't because she wanted to hear everything but she decided to at least announce her presence.
((Just a small one. It's not a big deal, but I feel like doing it.))
Ginny growled at Conan, scowling now. She raised her arm, seemingly to hurt Conan. Unfortunatly, there was a woosh of air and a flash of light and suddenly, Ginny and Conan were each being held by guards, and an old man stood between them.
A guard grabbed Cho by the arm and pulled her into the clearing.
"Caught this one watching." The guard told the old man. He nodded and Ginny only glanced at Cho. The old man looked to Ginny.
"What the hell are you doing here, Sam?" Ginny growled at him. She shrugged the guards of, and they backed up, knowing full well Ginny's power. Again, Ginny glanced to Cho.
Cho said now nervous,"Ginny I was going to announce my presence....I just heard a huge commotion out here in the forest and I came to check it out."
"Ginny, we can't leave her behind." Sam told Ginny, softly. Ginny scowled.
"Do what you want, just know that if you hurt her, I'll hurt you." She told the old man, firmly. She was calming down now, but was still very much angry.
((Going over to my boyfriends for the night.))
((oh for a second....I thought you meant that you're leaving me in this rp literally...LOL))
Cho squeaked and felt so intimidated by the guy named Sam's towering height.
Ron appeared in the clearing. He looked around. "this isn't the hogs head."He said, looking thoughtful.
Cho tried not to laugh and said softly,"No it isn't."
Swiftly, one of the guards grabbed Ron by the arm, careful not to hurt him. They seemed to recognize him as Ginny's brother, which was something any idiot could do. After all, Ron had bright red hair and freckles, Ginny had bright red hair and freckles. I mean, c'mon people. It's not that hard to figure out.
Ginny glanced now at Ron and sighed. Ron was pretty good when it came to just going with the flow. Sometimes. She hoped this was one of those times.
Conan growled over the guards heads at Ginny and she glared back. Sam raised his hand, to distract the two before any more words were exchanged. He looked to Ron, and nodded at him.
"Mr. Weasly." He said, as a way of greeting to his Queen's brother.
Lavy appered next to a tree leaning on it. "Well this is a sigt to see, no question about that." She walked out into the light.
"Please gentlemen, if you ever want childern don't touch me. I'm not going to do anything as long as you don't do anything."
She was wearing her long hair back in a slick, tight updo. She was also wearing a long black coat the was opened slightly to reveal a red shirt and shirt.
"Ginny, do you need any help with that." she said looking over at Conan.
"No, I can kill him easily. I'll just wait until he is asleep tonight." Ginny smiled, showing her teeth wickedly. Sam coughed uneasily and Conan paled considerably. Most, if not all of the guards shifted uncomfertably. They all knew Ginny didn't think a thing about killing people.
They'd once seen a portion of her power. A small portion, but enough to frighten them.
Sam looked to Ginny, then to Lavy. He knew her because Ginny had once brought the girl to the Palace.
"Should we take her as well?" He wondered aloud.
Ginny scowled, "Just bring along the whole school, why don't you? She can come, you idiot. She's been there before."
Cho got nervous again and whispered very softly,"Where are we going?"
"Don't worry about it, you'll be safe." she said crossing her arms and looking at Sam. She vaguely remembered him and he seemed a nice guy who only wanted to protect Ginny. She had to give him props for that, but she still din't like beinging talked about like she wasn't there.
No one else spoke to Cho. To them, she wasn't important, merely a student who was in the way of things. Ginny did nod at her, however. Lavy was right, Cho would be safe no matter what else happened.
Sam starred at Lavy for another moment then nodded. He turned opening the portal again. It glowed a light purple and seemed to lead to no where.
Ginny sighed, looking at Cho, Lavy, and Ron. ~Sorry guys. But please come. I really don't want to start something with Sam.~ She sent to them telepathically.
Ron sighed and groaned aloud.he answered back, speaking aloud."ah...fine then, I was just going to drink all night,at any rate."he nodded at sam."you mind letting go, sam?I won't leave."
Sam nodded back, and the guard holding Ron let him go. Sam went back to the portal, trying to make sure he had done it right. He was a low level wizard by our standards, and had barley been able to open it the last few times.
Conan watched this all, keeping his mouth shut. He didn't like the fact that Sam had shown up again. And he was very uneasy about all the witches and wizards coming back to his home. He trusted them only as far as he could throw them, which wasn't very far. Conan had become a weak muggle.
Ginny watched Sam, wincing as he almost made a mistake. She didn't speakup however. She wasn't going to help Sam at all.
Appears in his Blue and crimson robes, obviously not of hogwarts, his Wand pointed at the back of the neck of the guard holding cho. Most should know better by now, when they see Cho around, the big burly Devon McGonagall can't be very far behind. "Now you will release her before any unfortunate....accidents occur." He said in a menacing voice.
Standing at over Six feet tall and a solid weight of nearing two hundred pounds, the large student was not one to easily shrug off, especially when he already has you flanked. "and do it quickly." He snarled.
The guard looked at Devon, then Sam, then Ginny. Giny shrugged and smiled.
"I suggest you let her go." She told the guard, sweetly. "She's still coming with us."
Sam nodded and the guard let Cho go, but he stayed next to her. He looked at Devon and sighed. This group was getting rather large.
"There, the portal is done. Step through, I'll come last to close it." He told everyone.
Several guards and Conan went through first, Ginny next. Sam stood waiting for the others to pass through.
Waits for Cho to make her move the target of his wand pointing now was the one called Sam tho he was still directly behind the guard that was next to the guard. He was ready to act, as usual very quickly. "your move beautiful." He said to Cho.
Sam just looked at the rest. He was under Ginny's protection, strangly. He wasn't afraid of them.
He watched Sam carefully, as he lifted his foot and gave the Guard in front of him a good swift kick in the pants towards the Rift. Specifically for trying to manhandle one of his friends.
Ron whistled an old tune. "Can we go now?" He said, boredly."I'm not a patient person,"
"Go ahead, i'll watch him, make sure he doesnt jinx you in the back like a coward."
Cho smiled and hugged him sarcastically saying,"My hero!"
((LOL...friend gave me the idea...))
"I was talking to sam." he said. "Look, it was a lovely shot. You didn't notice that you didn't hit him?We don't really need rescuing, but if you want to come along, be my guest."he suppressed a grin.
Xaver felt the portal open, rather than saw it.
It wasn't such an unusual occurance, for Xaver was a scarily powerful being, but the magical threads, the tendrils that happened to alert his senses, bothered in some odd way or the next.
His lean, disarmingly handsome figure appeared out of literal no-where, standing beside the portal, restless eyes flickering over the group.
What was going on?
He didn't know.
And, truth be told, he wasn't in much of a mood to care, either..
Sam stood, tapping his feet.
"Yes you can go. Just get through there, before your sister has my head!" He snapped at Ron, impatiently. It wasn't that he was angry, he just wanted to get through this nasty business.
He turned to Xaver, recognizing him only slightly, "I suppose you want to go as well? Ginny would welcome you, I know." He told Xaver.
Xaver recognized the man instantly, when he spoke. His thoughts had been a little rearranged, when he'd been in captivity, but he'd recognized the face.. and when Sam had spoken, his voice had completed the needed assembly to register in his thoughts.
Suddenly, that lazy, annoyed structure was gone from his figure, and Xaver swept one arm across his middle, making a low, sure bow before he straightened.
"Sir."
His eyes flickered over the man.
"That is the Lady's decision. If, truly, she welcomes, then she only can say, and mean so. None other."
Xaver deeply respected the red-headed beauty.
He wouldn't come, if she didn't really want him to go. He made that plainly obvious.
--And he wouldn't let some other speak for her, anyway. He knew very well, Ginny could speak for herself..
"We'll see when we get through, no?"
He winked at Sam, his handsome features drawn almost into a smile. It was a warmer, and strangely more welcoming gesture than most ever received.
Even so, Xaver walked past him, and stepped into the portal, crossing. And, finally, his eyes rested upon Ginny's lively, gorgeous features. He had to resist, in every part of his creature, going over to her and drawing her into his arms, but in his eyes.. His eyes gave away everything.
Xaver arrived in a beautiful garden area. There was a small circular space where the portal was set up, and all around, small paths lead off into the flower beds and orcherds.
Ginny looked up at him. She had been staring at the ground until she heard Xaver come through. She looked at him, smiling tightly. She was tense, that was more sure than anything. But she was also surprised. She hadn't seen Xaver in the forest, so she supposed he had come after she had stepped through.
Conan and some guards stood a litle ways off, also staring at Xaver.
The gardens caught him off guard. He had been expecting a more serious setting.. but gardens?
The deep blues of his eyes flickered, nunplussed, over the lively, scenic escape, carefully scanning all of the guards, and on-lookers as well.
Dressed in combat boots, black, unearthly pants, and a deep, liquidy-blue shirt that drew out the sharpness of his ice-hinting eyes in a most dramatic manner, he stood out, much as a black sheep did in a pure flock.
The black sheep.
Very much so he supposed.
Energy trembled about his lonesome, handsome figure, a shimmering sort of black haze appearing about his fingers, before suddenly vanishing.
Untapped energy had a way of getting out..
In a way, Xaver could understand why to many, he was frightening.
Hell - he scared himself sometimes.
He bowed then, facing Ginny, making a low, and respectful gesture, though his eyes never left hers. A small, mischevious little smile played at the corners of his mouth - something only she would notice, in being familiar with his features as she was, and as the rest of them weren't. The smile was for her, and her alone, anyway..
"Ginny Weasley," he said as he straightened, his low tones soft to the ear, but threatening to on-lookers. He wasn't one to be messed with - and he was in no mood to be messed with. That much was tantalizingly clear.
"I answer to you only - may I join you?"
No one else could stop him in what he wanted to do.
The only thing that could, was her will. What she wanted.
"I would enjoy your presence very much so." Ginny answered back, softly. Her eyes stayed on his, the spell broken only when someone in the gather group coughed. She cleared her own throat.
"Are the others coming?" She asked, tilting her head slightly, as though she could hear them.
((We have to wait for a few of the others to post before we continue.))
Ron entered shortly their after. He looked around."too bad I can't enjoy this." he muttered. He looked over at ginny and xaver and nodded at them.
Ginny smiled at her brother with relief. She was glad he had com to. After all, he had told her he had planned to drink all night. Anything was better than that.
She hoped the rest would hurry up. She really wanted to get this all over with.
Walked through the portal, his wand still out, still not too trusting right now. Wondering what the heck was going on.
"Put your wand away. Too many muggles." Ginny whispered to Devon. She frowned at his up-tight demenure and looked at the other two boys. She looked back to Devon.
"Are the girls on their way?"
slipped the wand away grudgingly. "They should be behind me."
Ginny nodded at him, smiling tightly, "Alright." She nodded again, thanking him.
Conan and the crowd watched. Most didn't know what the portal was, and it only confused them. But Conan was starring at it with anger. He didn't want all these people in his home.
Cho followed Devon and nervously chuckled. "Hehe I think I might have gotten the wrong place....looks as if this is a party beng thrown here...." She said looking at all the people surrounding her.
"First thing that Comes to my head....Is what the hell is going on and whats with the strong arm tactics." He says this with a less then pleased look towards the so-called 'guards'.
Cho nudged him lightly in the ribs and asked in a low one,"Do you not notice that you are surrounded by Ginny's guards and Ginny and this stranged winged man and Ron?"
Ron resumed whistling, and scratched at an itch on his arm.He looked at conan, a bit menacingly.
((.....))
Cho slowly stepped out of the portal cautiously.
((I'm going to assume that lavy has followed you guys and such to keep the RP moving.))
Sam came after them, closing the portal. He looked at Ginny and Conan, his face serious. He led the group, with Conan and his guards at the lead, Ginny and the rest next, up one of the paths. Ginny knew from past experience that this path led to a small cliff like thing, where you could see the capitol city of her country.
And Ginny had known the city wasn't there anymore, but she wasn't prepared for what she saw. What had once been a beautiful city was now smoking ruins. The ground was so blackened in places, that even from the distance, they could see it.
Ginny's hand flew to her mouth, and she couldn't stop starring. A few people could be seen, walking among the debris. They looked dazed, sad, and angry. A camp had been set up, not far below them for survivors, but it seemed that there hadn't been many. Only a few hundred.
Ginny scowled and turned to Conan, her eyes blazing with anger again. She took a step towards him, threateningly.
"This is your fault." She told him.
((ok then....))
Cho looked dazed and asked Lavy,"Where's the portal?"
Conan took a step back, away from Ginny. He was practiclly hiding behind his guards. Sam, however stepped forward.
"Ginny, now is not the time to place blame. You have to fix it." He told her.
She folded her arms and turned back to the ruined city, angrily. 'Why do I always have to fix his mistakes...?' She thought to herself. She was silent for several moments.
((yeah Ginny tell him to fix his own mistakes...LOL...sorry waiting for the others....))
Ron stared down at the ruins, completly silent."Bloody hell..."he muttered. He looked at ginny, stunned.
Ginny still didn't say anything. She just kept looking at the crispy ruins. She kept thinking about how it was Conan's fault. If he hadn't run away, then they wouldn't have destryed the city.
Ginny was going after these people. She wasn't even sure who they were. But she was going after them. And hurting them. Alot. She had ruled over this country since she was 13, and this pained her a great deal.
First things first, however, she supposed she would have to fix some of the things. Subtle changes to help along the people. Few of them knew of magic, although it was rumored that the royal family knew how to do it. But she needed to make sure those who had survived the carnage would continue to survive.
Ron looked back at the wreckage."need any help?"
"Yeah, i think we can all pitch in if needed"
Cho said nothing but nodded her head in agreement.
Sam nodded, "That is the main reason you were all welcome to come along." He told them.
Ginny looked to her friends, "Thank you guys. I really...appreciate it." She smiled tightly, because she was even going to accept help, if they wanted, when it came time to go after the men.
"But at the moment, we should go to the palace and eat. Doing magic on an empty stomach like mine can make you sick."
steps up to Ginney and places a hand on her shoulder giving it a slight squeeze. "Don't worry, whatever needs doing we'll get it done"
Cho smiled and said,"yeah that's what we're here for."
When they approached the drop, and looked over the city, Xaver became suddenly immobile, perched on the edge of the cliff, the toes of his dark shoes off the end, the vertical slope, of the drop. If even a slight breeze would have come up, surely it would have knocked off his balance... But, no. Perhaps it was being that he was much like a bird, himself. The balance, the comfort with heights, and ...cliffs.
He looked over to them, as they became acquainted with the idea of the carnage.. the destruction below, his face impassive.
"Ginny.." he said, after a long moment. "You need only ask, and I can get hundreds of men to assist the wounded, and help rebuild.. If you would like, of course. Anything I can do."
And he meant it.
Ginny nodded, then shook her head, "I appreciate the offer, Xaver. But the people would know something was up if we brought in that many men." She glanced at Xaver, her eyes connecting with his for a split second. It only took that second for her to let him know she really did appreciate his being there, more than his offer.
She turned, looking at the entire group with a brief smile.
"You know what? I'm not hungry anymore. If you want to eat or rest, go with Sam, here. You are not obligated to help in any way." She gave her brother and Xaver long looks, telling them with her eyes that they could do what they wanted.
"I'm going down there now. Sam, I'll meet you later and tell you what you'll need to do." She didn't look at Sam, or Conan, before she walked along the edge of the cliff, knowing that there would be stone steps not far from where they stood.
Another shirt shredded.
Xaver couldn't help it. (Or, he could, really.. He just didn't care to.)
The enormous, huge black silken entities of his wings suddenly erupted, emerged from his back, summoned, or more, let into view. Let into their world with a little acceptance, a little release, of Xaver's magics. He shivered out of the remains of his shirt, his cloak having already disappeared into the nothingness he sent it to. He turned, now his heels handing off the edge of the cliff, a few pebbles, and scrapes of dirt slithering loose from beneath his footing, and down the long, vertical wall of earth, and faced them. Naked from the waistband of his pants, up, he was an undeniably handsome creature, filled out in musculature from the more thinness his youth had harbored, though in a way that was not at all stocky -- but in such a way, that his creature was a lean, formidible whipcord of power. His wings twitched, slightly, their feathers rustling with what could have been unease, or silence, one really couldn't tell.
-Well, is something not up, though, anyway?-
Xaver's eyes rested upon Ginny, solely.
He nodded to what she said.
"I will accompany you," he said simply.
His wings twitched, again, as more dirt and rock fell away beneath his feet. Soon, he would be falling, or flying, whatever you would call it. In a matter of moments, with the way the ground was so easily slipping away, there would be no more earth beneath his feet.
He nodded his head to his wings.
-Want me to take you down there? I can carry you far more quickly than you can walk.-
Xaver winked at Ginny.
In all honesty, Xaver, if he put his mind to it, could fly faster to a given place than one could take a portkey.
He loved magic..
Ginny shook her head, giving him a smirk, "No, Xaver. These people are muggles. Too much magic on my part scares them." She kept walking, a fast, steady pace.
((Yes, short post, I know. But we have to wait now.))
Cho looked from Ginny to again the winged man called Xaver and then to Devon. "Umm....so Devon what do you want to do?"
"Im headed with her, im neither hungry nor tired" He said moving after Ginney.
((Ron told me he won't be on here till he finishes the book.))
Ginny's sneakers made a soft noise on the dirt and stone as she walked down the steep stone steps. (Try saying that five times fast.) In a few moment, they were at the edge of the ruined city, the survivors camp visable from where they stood. Ginny straightened her shoulders and walked towards them.
~Don't use too much magic. A little bit is okay, but don't go popping up behind them or anything.~
((Ginny's sneakers made a soft noise on the dirt and stone as she walked down the steep stone steps. Ginny's sneakers made a soft noise on the dirt and stone as she walked down the steep stone steps. Ginny's sneakers made a soft noise on the dirt and stone as she walked down the steep stone steps. Ginny's sneakers made a soft noise on the dirt and stone as she walked down the steep stone steps.....this is hard....LOL))
((was that to us?))
Cho sighed and shrugged following Ginny.
(( I said say it, not type it. Lolz.))
((oK Ill try saying 'that' five times fast: THAT THAT THAT THAT THAT :p))
Smiles at Cho and nods at what Ginney was saying.
((This is Cameron)):
Cameron was using a series of ropes and pulleys to rock climb the harder sections of the rock face not far from where Ginny was walking down. He was aware of the state of the city behind and below him, but as he had not been asked for assisstance he did not want to get involved and do something that would bite him in the ass later on. Not mentioning the fact that there was far too many muggles around and the only way he really could assist was by using his wand. He closed the pully that allowed him to stay ancored in place and leaned back to take a gulp of water from his water bottle when the large bleach blonde guy saw Ginny walking down the stone steps.
"Hello there" He exclaimed, he hadn't realised that there was anyone in the area he was climbing, he had checked the top of the area before starting his climb, there was no one there then. He wondered where this crowd came from.
Ginny glanced up, her trained eyes and mind quickly gathering that he was not from this place or time. Which surprised her, as she had long ago sealed off this era in history to protect against idiots who knew how to time travel. Now she was angry again, someone had undone her old seal.
Not that it would have been hard to undo. It was a simple spell, but in any case, it made this guy suspicious. So Ginny acted protectively. After all, these people beside and behind her were her friends, and this was her kingdom.
She flicked her wrist at the blond haired guy, causing his ropes and pulleys to break and snap. But he didn't fall, through Ginny's will, he was held up in the air, then placed before her, a step or so down. She folded her arms and glared at him.
"Who are you and what business do you have in ancient Romania?" She asked, her eyes flashing with anger. Not just at him. At this whole mess.
(Cameron:)
"Wow....wow....wow....." he exclaimed his hands reacting immediately to grab the rockface, seemingly experienced free hand climber(without ropes). "Heard it had good climbing here." He gasped in surprise his hand flicking producing a wand of his own. "Now please, release me." His wand pointing at her tho not firing off any spells. He was a good guy, but he wasn't going to stand for an unprovoked attack.
Cho smiles back at Devon and looks at the strange guy who was just climbing but now holding his wand.
((When you type as Cameron, just start off with his name. Also, Ginny put him on the steps. Telekinesis is an awesome tool. lolz))
"How did you hear that? Do you even know where you are? Or even when?" Ginny asked him, slightly irked.
Cho laughed softly and looked up at this young boy.
((we don't know his name yet right?))
Cameron, isnt quite that young, at twenty one years of age hes kinda the opposite, no one really would recognize him. "Well I was told to come to a certain spot and there would be some awsome rock climbing, and I found myself here."
Ginny sighed and nodded at him.
"So you have no idea that this is a restricted time?" She asked, rubbing her forhead. She had such a big headache. First the city, now people getting into locked times.
The time workers would blame her, of course.
Cameron looks very confused.
Ginny sighed again, "Then follow us. Once we get back to the palace, you can go home from there. Wherever your home is." She muttered to herself, walking back donw the steps.
Cho quietly also followed Ginny.
Wouldnt mind visiting Hogwarts, havent been back since i graduated.
Cho looked at him. "How do you know about Hogwarts?"
Spins his wand around in his hand. "I graduated there, its been oh.....about 4 years since i went there." He explained. "that Prat Snape still there?"
Cho nodded her head and realized she was the only one talking to this new kid.
"He ever regrow the eyebrows i singed off?"
Cho softly laughed and said,"I think so...."
"nuts i worked for a month on that no-grow formula."
Cho softly laughed and still walked.
((don't know what to say to that....))
((Simple say zzzzzz Oh wait wrong thread....sorry))
((LOL....fine zzzz......lolz....))
"Ginny where are we going?" She asked suddenly not realizing where they were actually going.
"we're off to see the wizard...the wonderful wizard of Oz
((rofl....no I'm serious.....lolz.....where did you suddenly get that from?))
