((Since I just got back from a very hectic (but fun) vacation, I decided to make a new RP.))
Ginny appeared in the forest, looking very well rested and happy. For once, she didn't look exhausted, or starving. She had spent over a week with her family, and made herself unreachable that entire time. At that point, she knew she had to care about herself more than anything.
She pulled her hair back and let out a low whistle, letting the wolves and other creatures in the forest know she was back, and then started towards the school.
Cho saw Ginny walking towards the school. "Hey Ginny....wow you look happy today....what happened?"
"Ya Ginny you do look happy." Sarah siad as she smiled and walked to them.
hey guys!!and hey there happy whats so special today??*said jessie walking up to them
hello people" said Blaze
Ginny raised an eyebrow at the two newer students. She had never seen these two before, and she was slightly interested in them. She looked to Cho and Sarah, giving them a smile.
"Hi you two." She said, to her students. She had taught Cho and Sarah alot of things, and soon, they wouldn't be students of hers any longer.
Not that she would stop teaching them. She still had alot to teach them. Just not everything she knew. She needed a back up plan of her own, after all. Again, she looked at Blaze and Jessi.
"Hello." She said to them, her eyes boring right into them, letting them know that even though she was obviously around 17 years old, she wasn't a student, and they weren't her equals.
Cho smiled and said,"You look relaxed too....what happened....met someone...got a makeover....drank something.....actually got some sleep during your vacation?!"
"hello, professor Ginny. I arrived at hogwarts after you left for your vocation. Oh and how was it?" asked Blaze, looking back. He had heard a lot of rumors about the professor. She was supposed to be very kind and an amazing wizard. He was very curious to meet her.
((Blaze I warn you now....Ginny can read minds.....so always talk good about her...))
((Or talk bad and have Ginny be mean, Bwahahahahaa-ha...*cough* erm....yeah. Anywho....))
"I got alot of sleep, Cho." Ginny said, with a small smile. She had only been able to do so after finding an old recipe for a potion to make one stop worring about everything. But now she was well rested, and able to function better then ever.
Woe to anyone who got into a fight with her today.
Ginny nodded at Blaze, "Very nice, it's good of you to ask...what year are you in?"
((LOL....evil one.... ;D ))
"Wow...for once Ginny, got good sleep." Cho said sounding surprised smiling.
Ginny laughed, softly, "First time I slept for a full night for over two months." She sounded amused, because that was an understatment of her insomnia problem. In the past three months, she had slept twice. And not very well.
Cho said half-joking,"Glad you finally found time to get a full night of sleep.....soon the black circles under your eyes will disappear."
Ginny smirked and after a split second she reached out and pushed Cho, causing her to stumble backwards, but not fall. She laughed, "Cho, they are already gone."
It was true, and that was a result of the way she worked. Her psychic abilities worked to kep her physical appearance, more often to fool others than for her own vanity.
moves through the forest quietly. It had been a couple of days since he returned from St. Mongo's it was found out that he was indeed a werewolf now due to the injury he sustained trying to save the headmaster. He sighed, unsure what to do now. Would Cho even still want to be associated with him, would they even let him stay at Hogwarts now. He shook his head as he passed not far from Ginny and Cho.
Ginny saw him, even though trees were in her way. She worked in the forest rather strongly, and she was connected to it. She felt him pass by, heard him, and saw him.
But she didn't say anything to him. She had the feeling he wasn't up to being very talkative at the moment.
looks around a tree and at Ginny for a moment, sighs and walks on for the moment, he wasn't really sociable at the moment. He had alot on his mind.
Ginny sent a soft nudge to his mind. A rather soft whisper, it seemed when he heard it. It said nothing, but expressed concern. Ginny had a feeling she was going to have to talk to Devon soon. She smiled at Cho, and the others.
"Come on, you guys, let's go up to the school."
Looked back over his shoulder at the nudge, not quite knowing where it came from, but having a small idea at the same time, it was weird. He ended up going near to where the shrieking shack was ironically enough.
((Um...Devon already went to the Shreiking Shack....))
((oh oops....computer messed up everything so I didn't see the last feew posts....))
stalks through the forest going.....nowhere really.
Cho was going to talk to him later but followed Ginny anyways. "Hey Ginny....something is wrong with Devon, should I just go check on him?"
"Leave him be for now. He doesn't look too happy." She said softly, leading the younger girl away.
((Time skip...weeeee))
Later that night, after dinner, Ginny went looking for Devon for the sole purpose of getting him alone so she could ask him if it was true. One of the other teachers had told her what the dignoses at St. Mungos had been, and she wanted to hear what had happened while she was away.
"Okay then."
(time skip)
Cho ate quickly and went to find Devon.
Devon is sitting in the shrieking shack after managing to find a way in. He just seems to be staring at a part of the wall, not doing anything.
Ginny stood still for a moment, using an old trick of hers to locate Devon. This trick was focasing on his mind, and figuring out where it was. She nodded to herself and simply appeared beside him.
"Hey, kiddo." She said, softly, watching him.
"Might want to keep your distance Ginny, im a werewolf now..." he sighed. Good deeds rarely go unpunished.
Ginny shrugged, "Oh well. I can render you unconscious if you try to bite me." She sat down beside him, looking at the wall too, and offering him a smile.
"So why are you here?" Its not him being rude, him curious why anyone would want to come near him. Not exactly known for his gentle touch, with the exception of with Cho. Him going from his already large level of strength into a rampaging creature would scare most off.
"Because I want to talk to you." She sad, smiling slightly.
"Actually, I wanted to see how you'r holding up. Most students get freaked when something like this happens to them."
"well suffisive to say, im not exactly thrilled by it." he responded bleakly. "But its somthing my father wouldnt be expecting to face when we meet. And chances are pretty good any future with the ministry here is out the window now. Especially as an auror"
"There is a positive to every negative." Ginny said, nodding slightly. She continued to look at him.
"Anything your worried about? I know plenty werewolves, and if you have any questions, you can meet them."
"Theres only one i want to meet." He snarled. Hatred boiling over for Fenrir, who he's since learned was the faciliator of all this anguish and pain.
"Greyback? Well, I'm afraid I don't speak to him often. But I do know another student who's dealing with being a werewolf." She suggested.
"The one that gave me this......curse? I hold no ill will towards her....that was an accident." He replied.
"No, actually, this one is a boy. I think Cho knows him. Sarah too." Ginny said, shrugging.
"Fenrir needs to be stopped." He snarled again with the mention of his name.
meanwhile at the gryffindor table isolated from any communication.... she was completely absorbed in her own thoughts...that, and twirling pasta on a spoon....((hehe i had to!!)) she was thinking about the werewolf problem....violet had been attacked, devon too....and how many more did she not know about?? * and i might be next* she muttered quietly to herself *sighhhh.... tonight... i think ill go and chase some of the pack away...but first i stunn fenrir, then i get rid of a couple and then apparate to the common room....possibly directly into my own bed...* she muttered under her breath, her eyes glowing with passion
"By the way, Devon. Where were you attacked?" Ginny asked, with intrest.
"Actually it was the other way around.....the one known i believe as violet was attacking and I tackled her, apparently she caught me pretty good in the exchange." He sighed. "Not smart on my part i know."
"But where. I need to know where this happened at." Ginny pressed him, getting an unerving feeling in her stomache that it was the Forest.
"My memories kinda hazy, it was either at the hospital or the med wing." he replied. rubbing his head
Cho walked in hearing the conversation from outside the door. "Outside the school near the forest." She said answering Ginny's question.
could have been, my mind was on getting the female wolf off the person she was attacking.
"It was.....I saw....."
Ginny stood, her face going dark.
"Okay. I suggest you two get to the school and make sure the rest of the students stay there tonight." She told them, her soft kind voice changing. Now it was dark and downright scary. She was angry, angrier than she had been in a long time.
She looked at the two students, nodding slightly, "Ok?"
"Okay....." She said aware of Ginny's change of attitude.
"I need you guys to promise me. It won't be fun on the grounds tonight. And I don't want any students getting hurt." She pressed them to promise, not wanting them to get hurt especially. Her eyes were dark, the pupils small, and she looked somewhat scary to be around.
Cho just frightenedly nodded getting scared now. Then she had a chill go up her back and she looked back thinking she saw something. She rubbed her eyes making sure it was an illusion and the dark figure was indeed gone. "Devon......umm we should listen to Ginny....and head inside."
"Cho.....you should go inside. However i have to stay out here, i cant risk going inside." He looked from the wall to Ginny and Cho, his eyes were black. Not good.....really not good. "i need to hunt. and inside the school is not the place for me right now."
Cho was getting scared because both were looking scared. She didn't want to leave either out here not knowing what to do she stood there immobilized.
reaches out with his wand and appapporates her back to the castle. He didnt want her getting hurt.
Cho was so surprised and was so angry. She stomped into her room and not being able to help them.
Ginny looked at Devon, "Then stay here and give me your wand. Sometimes the wolf mind can manage to think of a spell or two, and we don't want that." She held out her hand, her voice commandng him. She wasn't afraid of werewolves in any sense. She had gone up against far scarier things.
"Were is Fenrir?" He asked with a snarl. He figured if he was going to loose control he minus well do so in a productive way. By tearing that beast apart. He reached out with the wand but holding it back just a bit almost as if he was trading it for the knowledge.
"I really don't know at the moment," She told him, reaching out and snatching his wand away, "But you really won't have to worry about him anymore if he's in the forest tonight."
She vanished his wand, putting it where no one but her would find it and turned to walk out.
"Try to stay in here." She told him.
his shift was started by the time her last statement was out. It was weird, it was almost like he had gained control over it to a degree, he seemed to no longer be in pain as almost all his bones were broken and enlarged as he shifted. His body taking on a much larger, bulkier size with almost three times the already impressive muscle mass that Devon already had. Fine silver hair appeared long all over his body as his snout grew large with huge K-9 teeth. His werewolf form was almost handsome in its own right, the exact opposite of what he saw his human form.
Ginny watched for a moment, then walked out of the room. Once she got out of the shack, she was going to seal it with magic. Hopefully, he wouldn';t get out. She wouldn't be able to tell the diffrence between the werewolves, really. Their minds were too stupid at that point, and they all looked basically the same. She knew she'd be able to tell Greyback. His feasting even when he wasn't transformed helped him gain control over his wolf form.
He would be the one thinking. And Ginny knew she'd kill him if he was in the frest tonight. She didn't even have her own wand on her, she found out, checking her pockets as she walked through the hallways in the shack. Oh well, she didn't need it.
his large bulk slammed into the wall of the shack which would have groaned under his weight and strength as he raised his snout to the air and sniffed. He could smell for hundreds of meters in all directions, perhaps even a mile. He knew precisely were ginny was, due to her being in close proximity to him recently. He growled and slammed his fists into the wall again and finally again, a hole begining to form in the wall.
Ginny ignored his slamming fists, walking only a bit faster. If she managed to get to the door before he punched a hole in the outside wall, he'd be hard pressed to punch a hole in her magic. She wandered, briefly, how far gone his mind was, but only for a moment.
he tore open the side of the wall only to find a barrier in his path. Magic....his mind was so prepared for magic used against him, that it was more instinct then actual force of will that he lashed out at the wall. Even without his wand he was a gifted wizard, the words with meaning flowing from his mouth in a growl....."Finite Incantatum" a counter spell used to dispell the last spell used.
((and thats all draco's fault.....lol.....way too much magic fighting between devon and draco))
Ginny didn't know, she was already far from the shack, already in the forest. She jumped silently from tree to tree, unseen by anything and anyone. She had learned long ago how to disguise herself in almost every aspect. Physical, metal, emotional. If she wanted, no one could know she was there. But she didn't want that.
She dropped down to the forest floor in a clearing, letting everything within miles know where she stood. She didn't have her wand and was apparently helpless.
Follows the scent of Ginny, thinking that she would lead him right to the person his mind was set on tearing limb from limb, strangely he seemingly had a level of control over himself now. His head was lowered and he used his increased sense of smell to know where she was and were virtually every other creature of the forest was within 200 meters of her, and himself.
Cho decided she had to go check up on him definitely but knew that Ginny would have Devon under control. She apparated to the forest seeing Devon running into it. She put a spell around her making her seem invisible. She saw a quick figure and thought to herself~that must be Ginny~.
~Cho, I told to go to the school. Werewolves may no see you, but they can smell you.~ Ginny sent a soft thought into Cho's mind, angry that the girl had disobayed her. She stood still in the clearing, knowing that any werewolf that was hungry enough would follow her scent and try to attack her.
Following the plan that she had set for herself at dinner, jessie apparated to the forest, smeared mud on herself to make her smell mix with those of the forest, and made herself invisible. *Thats more like it*she thought to herself, *now, to find fenrir.....* she decided to go east, the deep parts of the forest. She hadn't gotten far when she heard a howl, she was close, but just how close?
Ginny heard snarls and growls in the bushes not far from her. And behind her. She stood still, waiting for one of them to dare to step into the clearing. She was itching to do this.
~Hehe....um just here to help out?~ Cho quickly ran after them now knowing that Ginny knew she was now out there.
Jessie continued to walk eastward, and after a while, she heard a loud snarl, she stopped and looked around. She didn't see anything, but all the same, she smeared more mud on herself.(she had worn very old clothes)Then she creapt eastward as quiet as possible.
Ginny smiled to herself and ducked, just in time, as a werewolf leaped at her. It flew over her head, landing in a heap. It hadn't expected that. The rest of the pack filtered out of the bushes. Something about Ginny had brought them all together. Possibly her manufactured aurora of being helpless. Who knew? Whatever it was, it was something the dememnted minds of werewolves couldn't resist.
Ginny smiled and said in a low voice, "Fenrir, love, it's time to play," in a sing-song voice. She was amused as she waited for him to step towards her.
a huge tree trunk flies through the air and perfectly clears Ginny and is on a crash course for Fenrir, the tree trunk was big and very very heavy. Obviously not one of the 'normal' students threw it.
A werewolf yelped as the trunk hit it. The animal had jumped in front of Fenrir to protect him. Animal loyalty to the pack leader.
Ginny watched with slight interest, her head tilted to the side as Fenrir looked to her. He had control over his wolf form, but speaking was out of the question, so Ginny couldn't make him angry like she did with others. She smiled though, not moving at all as the werewolf that had jumped in front of him exploded in a shower of blood.
The forest became silent completly, except for the breathing of the rest of the werewolves and Fenrir. Even rabid animals have enough sense to not attack something they can tell is dangerous.
steps out into the clearing to support Ginny, as good as she was there was a pack here, and the possiblity stood that even she could be overwhelmed. It was obvious that Devons wolf form was a decendent of Fenrir. His eyes seemed to fall upon each and everyone of the packs members, he didnt actually see them but his sense of smell told him precisely were they were.
Ginny looked at Devon for a moment, making sure he was who she thought, "I told you to stay there, you stupid animal." She shot at him, angry a bit. Things were going to get confusing, and Ginny wasn't sure if she'd be able to tell who was him. He looked so much like Fenrir.
snarled and slams his fists against his chest as he blitz's the clostes wolf to him. Propelling himself up into the air and through some of the upper branches to literally land claws first ontop of the 'weakest' link the one that dared show fear or surprise at his attack on Fenrir. Surprise was weakness and the weakest must fall.
Ginny growled slightly as the wolves lept into action, almost all of them going for Devon. Three came for her, and she took care of them easily. She grabbed the first ones forepaw and turn his arm, breaking it and whipped him at the other two, knocking all thre down before snapping her fingers and making them explode.
She didn't go near Devon, though. She knew he wanted to take care of this himself.
Grabs two by the throats that fly at him after he has thoroughly crushed one under his talons. And with apparently little pity he snaps both of their necks and tosses their limp useless bodies at the feet of Fenrir. He snarls at him, and starts to circle, this meant only one thing and the other werewolves suddenly backed off, he was challenging their eldest werewolf. Anyone interfering....would be killed with little remorse and even less mercy.
Ginny watched silently, her arms folded. She was a part of this circle of werewolves, but only because she choose to be. She wouldn't be bitten, even by the hungriest werewolf. Besides that, the werewolves were busy watching Devon challanging Fenrir.
a snap here and a snap there a claw across the face a slash across the stomach, and suddenly the two of them were all over each other, tearing and ripping, clawing and eviscerating....it was the worst of the worst one could imagine. This was ugly.
Ginny didn't flinch, however, even as blood splattered over her and a few of the crowd. It was very bad, but Ginny had been in fights like that herslef, and this didn't phase her. She was on stand by, however. If Fenrir did manage to get Devon down, she would interfere before a death blow was hit to Devon. She doubted that would be the case, though.
After a few minutes, Devons Body is thrown half broken from the combat and connects with a tree. No doubt that Fenrir is hurt, but Devon got the worst of it. Mostly due to experience and the difference in age. However this would be the time that Fenrir, sufficiently injured would withdraw, at least for tonight to lick his wounds and recover.
((the good guys dont always win))
((I was wondering which way youd do this.))
Ginny looked at the rest of the werewolves as she walked over to Devon's body, "Get out of her, idiots." She told them, the ice water in her voice making them shiver as they high tailed it after Fenrir. Ginny looked down at Devon's body, then poked his side with her sneaker to see if he was awake.
He was alive, but not awake, his form was now that of a human. No longer in wolf form. he was bleeding badly, but the wounds were already healing, the wolf regenerative blood in him allowed him to heal naturally the wounds that his own kind did to him.
Ginny shrugged and sat down. She didn't feel like using telekinesis o carry him any where. Especially since blowing things up takes alot out of a person. Her mind was tired.
even with advanced regeneration it would take hours for Devon to regain conciousness....they had ripped each other new holes that weren't even imagined for humans.
Ginny leaned against the tree Devon had flown into and looked up through the branches at the sky. She wondered briefly how far Devon was willing to go to get back at Fenrir.
eventually groans back to conciousness....."anyone catch the number of that mountain giant that hit me?"
"Yeah it was if you ever disobay me again, I'll kill you myself." Ginny said, coldly.
"there was a pack of them Ginny. I wasnt going to let you face them alone." He said with a firmness that told her clearly were he stood on watching her ass.
"I don't need your help, Devon." She told him, her voice still cold. But she was slightly touched that he would look out for her.
is too weakened too argue right now.
"How long before you can walk?" She asked, dropping it for now.
if i had my wand i wouldnt require to walk
"And if I felt like giving you your wand, I would." She muttered.
"Its going to be a while then." he replied, and the damage did seem to support that.
"It's not like I don't have all night." She said, still looking at the sky. She was silent then, thinking of how she was going to get rid of the werewolf problem in the forest.
Cho appeared from her spell. "Sorry Ginny.......didn't obey you but Devon didn't either...and guess who else is out here as well witnessing this...."
Jessie had watched the whole thing and at one point when a werewolf was coming up behing ginny she did a body bind and transported him to a forest in romania.
Cho pointed directly at Jessie. "Jessie I noticed was following the noises of the werewolves.....but is Devon okay?"
Devon is down, barely concious, hurt pretty badly
Jessie stepped out from behind the large tree, looking like she was caught. She sat down by Devon, looking at his bladly bleeding wounds.
"Ginny...can we help in some way?"
yeah anything.....I mean, if you would let me hold what you need and hand it to you when you need it..... well I would!!*
Cho looked so worried.
Ginny waved her hand in the direction of Devon, "He'll be fine as long as no one touches him." Ginny said. Then she shot both girls a look that would terrify even the bravest auror.
"Sit down." She snapped at them.
Cho sat down next to Devon frightened by Ginny's look. Then there was an awkward silence.
has fallen asleep now, weakened and exhausted
Cho looked worriedly at Devon's sleeping form.
"There is a reason I tell you to do things." Ginny said, harshly. She was tired, now. And crabby.
groans in pain reaching out his fingers digging into the ground as he tries to get up.
Ginny's hand flew backwards at a strange angle, but still, she hit Devon in the stomach, and him being in a weak state already, knocked the wind out of him.
"Stay still, stupid." She told him.
Cho sat down and looked at Ginny. She looked much different than what she did a few hours ago. Cho wondered how her mood had suddenly just changed dramatically.
Ginny sighed, her eyes closing for a moment, then she looked at Cho.
"Listen, I tell you to do things because although you can take care of yourselves sometimes, I don't want you ending up like me."
Cho slightly smiled and nodded. "I understand...."
"Do you really?" Ginny's eyebrows shot up with doubt, "Do you want to become a mean old hag like me when your barely 17?"
Cho couldn't help but laughed. Then she stopped looking at Ginny's face as if asking her if it was okay to laugh at her statement.
Ginny just shook her head, she was serious, "Well, do you?"
((d*mn....LOL...trying to get you out of this scary face and put on a laughing face ;D ))
Cho quickly shook her head and softly said,"No."
((Well, I'm not having too great a day...so I feel like making Ginny seriouse. *sticks out tounge*))
"I didn't think so." She said, leaning back against the tree.
((*sticks her tongue out* fine be like that *turns around back facing Ginny* Hey Ginny.....if you're scratched by a werewolf.....does that make that person a werewolf.....))
Cho looked down at Devon's sleeping form and didn't know what to say now.
((No...they need to be bitten, and it needs to draw blood so the wolf dna can get infused with the persons. Do NOT ask how I know that.))
((LOL.....maybe you are one.....OMG are you....LOL...joking......because did Devon get scratched or bitten by Violet......we're discussing that in the 'Werewolf' rp....))
Jessie sat there silently looking at the ground. Finally looking up she said, *Ginny I'm, I'm so sorry, I didn't know this would happen....* :'(
"What you do not know could fill up a million books." Ginny seethed. She took a breath and shook her head, "I will not have you putting yourselves into danger that you can't get out of."
Cho nods and said,"But-....never mind."
"Really, how much do you guys know? I'm a god**n psychic and I don't know everything! But I have more experiance fighting than you guys do. I know what lengths others will go to. I know how hard death is." She told them, her voice heavy. She shook her head.
"Death isn't fun. Killing isn't fun."
Cho said softly,"Sorry Ginny."
*Yeah I'm really sorry, Truly I am.* The tears ran silently down her pale face, her blue eyes, normally sparkling, were downcast and filled with tears.
Cho looked up and softly said handing her a floral design handkerchief,"Jessie don't cry right now..."
Ginny rolled her eyes, "Easily set into tears, are you? Then you'll be an easy target someday." Ginny told her. Yes, she was being harsh, but she needed them to understand.
Cho looked up and just thought that Ginny right now was really harsh to them for what reasons though.
Ginny didn't supply an answers, and simply stared at the sky, annoyed.
Jessie took the Handkercheif, then said *Ginny if it would help, I'd go back the common room with Cho... if it would help...*
She was sad, but didn't want to be just a tiny sputtering idiot.
((why are we still here what are we going to do here.....LOL))
((I don't know, maybe Ginny has a plan.....GINNY!!!! WHATS YOUR PLAN!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D))
