Vanessa sat, staring out the window. "Can I have a butterbeer?" She muttered softlly. The waitress nodded and walked off. There is nothing to do on a rainy day like this. She sighed. She turned back to her notebook, finishing up some homework.
Ginny came in, seemingly dry, despite the rain outside. She swung a small duffle bag beside her, humming softly. Several of the older men looked up and watched her as she walked up to the bar.
"Madame Rosemerta! I brought you those herbs you asked for." Ginny called, leaning over the bar and dropping the bag on the other side with a small plump. Madame Rosemerta nodded to her, and Ginny turned, looking around at the bar's occupents.
Vanessa hadnt met Ginny before. She looked over and turned back to her homework, not wanting to bother her.
Ginny glanced at Vanessa and swiftly walked over to her, to avoid looking at the guys near the door. Plus the girl looked to be a student. She sat softly across from her and gave her a smile.
"Hi there."
"Hey... I dont think weve met yet. Im Vanessa." Vanessa said looking up from her homework and smiling. She closer her book and pushed it to the side as the waitress came with her butterbeer. "Thanks." Vanessa muttered.
Ginny smiled sweetly, "I know." She told her. And Ginny did know, her psychic abilites didn't need to be accessed for this, either. She had spoken to the teachers at the school, and some had mentioned Vanessa.
"I'm Ginny Weasly. It's nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet you too." Vanessa smiled. "So... what year?" Vanessa asked, not knowing that Ginny did not go to school here.
"None." She said, laughing softly, "Do I still look that young?" She shook her head, snickering at herself.

"Oh sorry.. I... uh... didnt know." vanessa blushed, embaresed at her mistake.
((She's 17, looks 16, but feels 90. lolz))
Ginny shook her head, "No, no worries. I get that alot. People are always surprised to find out I dropped out."
Vanessa laughed. "Okay. Well i am 16... just transfered here from another school. This one is a lot more... well dramatic I guess you could say."
Ginny smiled, showing her teeth, "Yes, I know what you mean."
She paused, looking about the room, one of the men had yet to look away from her, and the hungry look in his eyes was starting to irritate her. She looked back to Vanessa, "But without drama, there would be no calm." She told her, smiling.
"Yeah I guess... there is allways something going on... except for rainy days like this." Vanessa said.
Ginny smiled, showing off her bright teeth again, "No. Something is always going on." Again she glanced up at the man who hadn' looked away from them. She stopped smiling and his own grin stretched across his face. He wasn't an ugly man, but his smile was creepy, and Ginny scowled in his direction before looking back to vanessa.
"So, what house did you get sorted into?" She asked, intrested.
"Slytherin." Vanessa couldnt help but frown. "Stupid family tradion.
"Don't like it? One of my best friends was in Slytherin." Ginny said with a small smile. She didn't tell the girl what house she had been in. She didn't hold much faith in the seperation of the houses.
"Yeah well it doesnt really matter... it just I feel like everyone judges me because of it." Vanessa sighed.
Ginny smiled slightly, "No me. I'm afraid I don't like that whole thing between the houses. I have seen Hufflepuffs be brave, Ravenclaws be mean, and Gryffindors be clever. I've also seen SLytherins be some of the most loyal and best friends I'll ever have."
Vanessa smiled softly. There was something about Ginny that made her feel like she could confide in her. "Yeah I dont like it much either. There is a lot of boyfriend girlfriend drama too."
Ginny started giggling, then laughed right outloud, "Trust me. I know what you mean." She shook her head, still chuckeling.
"These younger kids are so strange. So into the oppiset gender. I mean, I was married when I was 15, but come on! I had to be." She laughed, shaking her head again. Her red hair caught the light from the candles around the room, catching th attention of a few other guys. Ginny didn't notice.
"Well hello, Mrs. Weasly!" Lavy's voice said from behind her.
Lavy didn't look any different then before although she an inch or two taller. Her long dark brown hair fell in waves around her face. Her skin did apper a little lighter then normal but maybe it was a trick of the light, since her skin was a light chestnut color anyways.
She was in a bar stool, her legs crossed because she was wearing a light gray wool dress. Her black tights and ballet flats matched as well with her whole ensamble. To top it all off she was smiling from ear to ear overjoyed to see her old friend. Everyone who wasn't looking at Ginny before was now staring at Lavy.
Ginny turned, smiling widley, knowning instantly who it was. "Lavy! How are you?" She asked, warmly.
"Never better!" she said in response. "Well you know what I mean. It's been really good. What about you? I'm more interested in you. How are you?"
Ginny's eyes cast a small, sad shadow, but her smile was still warm. "Not too bad. Things have been pretty quiet since..." Her words hung, because she didn't want to bring up how she felt.
Maya walked in looking around seeing no one she knew.She had just came to Hogwarts because she got expelled from her other school Beauxbatons.She went over to a table and sat down.A waitress walked over."Just a butterbeer thanks."the girl nodded and walked away.Maya saw all these people talking to their friends and wondered.How shall I make a splash at this school.She had already gotten a detention today by Professor Snape for throwing a bezoar at some kids head that had called her a well some name she didn't want to say.She didn't care though.She was use to detentions by now.The waitress came back with her drink.Maya gave her a sickle and started to drink. :)
Ginny's eyes traveled to the newest arrival to the bar and she offered the girl a slight smile before looking back at Lavy and Vanessa.
Maya smiled slightly back :).She wanted to go but waited.She just wanted to think a little longer.Maybe she'd plan her next scheme.
"I see..." and Lavy left it at that. She had known Ginny to long to push her. "So..." she went on noticing Maya. "Who is the new kid, is she going to be trouble." as she asked the question she motioned for Maya to join them.
"Havn't a clue. I've been basically ignoring students that I don't teach regularly." Ginny told Lavy with a slight shrug of her shoulders. Any sudents that wern't in her regular classes were not powerful enough, psychicly.
Leron walked in and noticed the group, he had met all of them excpect Lavy it seemed. He walked over and bought a butter beer then took a seat.
Maya walked over to Ginny's and Lavy's table. "Hi. I'm Maya uh...sorry but who are you again?"she asked. She felt like an idiot asking but she really didn't know them. "Hi Leron. Didn't expect to see you here."she said. She almost spilled her drink because her hands were shaking so bad. She laughed trying to shrug it off but they kept shaking. She set it down and looked down at her feet.
Ginny smiled warmly, "I'm Ginny Weasly, she's Lavy Brown. It's nice to meet you Maya."
"Very nice to meet you. And you?" she said turning to Leron. "Tell me something about yourself."
Maddy came stubbling in. She was dripping wet. Feeling like a fool, she went over to the bar waiting for someone to take her order. A girl walked up to her. "A butterbeer please." She said. After recieving her drink she went over to a table and sat down, taking out a book.
